I always felt that this gym carried itself with respect and honesty. The staff presents themselves well and the environment has generally been positive. I genuinely appreciated the fact that they validate parking for two hours because it made the experience feel convenient and welcoming. Unfortunately the incident that occurred today changed my entire outlook and left me extremely disappointed.

To charge fifty dollars for a lost parking ticket is completely unreasonable. It does not matter that the system is operated by a third party because the business still chooses to use that system and it reflects on the gym as well. The parking ticket had already been validated and my car information was already in their system. There was clear proof that I was a paying member using the gym at the appropriate time. Yet a simple mistake led to a penalty that makes no sense and feels like a scam designed to take advantage of customers.

There has to be a better process in place and a fair resolution for something that is so minor. No customer should walk out of a workout feeling like they were blindsided by a fifty dollar charge for losing a piece of paper that serves no purpose once their car is validated. This does not align with the values of honesty and respect that I thought this gym stood for.

Because of this situation and the lack of integrity behind it I will be cancelling my membership.

Signed up here recently after visiting elev8tion and Miamistrong, and have zero regrets. Huge gym with something for everybody. The dark room with the squat racks and dead lift stations is easily the best part of the gym and my favorite room. Bathrooms and showers are super clean too. I'd definitely recommend.

Powerhouse Gym Miami is a great facility — well-equipped, clean, and has a strong fitness community. Unfortunately, a few months ago the new ownership or management decided to stop accepting insurance-based memberships. Considering how many members used that benefit and how loyal the community has been since the gym opened, this decision was disappointing.

Now that Club Studio has opened just a few blocks away, Powerhouse seems to be lowering the signup fees, but removing insurance options was, in my opinion, a big mistake. I truly hope they reconsider and renegotiate with the insurance companies, as many longtime members would love to come back under those terms.

I have been going to the gym it’s a great equipped gym . Staff is ideally friendly always says Hi and very communicative. But there is a new Guy who worked there yesterday morning latin guy dark brown hair with a fade . he’s been there for a month now . he doesn’t say hi he isn’t friendly and his attitude makes me not want to approach the desk to purchase anything . please speak with him . if he doesn’t want to be there then don’t work there . if not be friendly and approachable .

Horrible administration. Horrible management. Moved out of the country after coming in and telling front desk im moving to stop my membership only to find out it was paused. Admin wanted me to come back to the US and either cancel or show proof of new address ( a flight and new job at a new country was not “per agreement” ) so i was charged on my credit history $2000 to this scam gym where everyone is completely lost at whats going on. Stay away. Dont sign anything. Many more professional gyms in the area for the same price unlike this place.

I’ve been going to powerhouse for 1.5 year and i love it. Its big and spacious. They have several duplicate machines, dumbbells and barbells. It never feels like you have to wait long for any equipment. Its well maintained. Always clean. The staff is nice. There’s a great gym culture and ambience. This is the nicest gym I have ever been to. Worked out last night & I was removing some 45 lbs plates from a barbell I had set up to do hip thrust. One of the workers saw me struggling and jumped in to help me remove the plate. Very kind.
Besides that the gym is super clean, equipment is top notch, the ambience of the gym is fantastic!! Bathrooms are clean. They got a scrub for your hands at the bathroom sinks!! Very spacious gym with multiple rooms.
Highly recommend this gym if you want a luxurious feel, for a lower price.

Power House Gym has been a huge disappointment. The administration is terrible and clearly doesn’t care about members. The AC has been broken for over 4 months, making workouts extremely uncomfortable. The dress code is completely out of control, with people walking around in very inappropriate outfits.

On Friday, August 22nd in the morning, I even witnessed a man walk out of the bathroom completely naked, only covering himself with a towel while strolling around the gym absolutely unacceptable that staff allowed this to happen.

On top of that, machines are always broken, and when they are, it takes months before they’re fixed. For the amount of money they charge, this gym is not worth it. Definitely would not recommend.

The parking is never an issue with two hour free parking in the covered garage with the door right next to the gym The facility is probably one of the most cleanest facilities I've ever been in in my entire 64 years going to gyms. Love this gym. There are plenty of cardio and weight machines. Multiple transportation options and ways to get there. Easy parking in the connected parking garage - with two hours for free. The cool thing is there is literally a private room with 2 treadmills and 2 stairmasters if you want to do cardio away from everyone else. Multiple cardio machines overlook part of the Downtown Miami skyline and the street below. Price is reasonable. Staff is nice.

Honestly, this gym’s a beast. Super well-equipped, tons of variety, machines, cables, free weights, even an IV therapy room which was a nice surprise. The energy is on point too, definitely a spot where people come to train hard.

Dumbbells go up to 150 lbs, which I always appreciate. You can tell it’s built for serious lifters, but it’s also clean and pretty well organized.

Only thing I noticed: I could only find one dip stand/machine, which felt a bit limited for a gym this size. Not a dealbreaker, but it stood out.

Overall, if you’re in Miami and want a proper gym with heavy weights, great machines, and that hardcore vibe go to powerhouse.

Dear Owners and managers, I want to express my disappointment with the ongoing lack of customer service from the front desk staff. It’s not the first time I’ve walked in and been ignored or greeted without basic courtesy. The staff consistently seem disinterested and unprofessional when it comes to providing accurate information.

Just yesterday, I brought a friend who was visiting the gym for the first time, and the person at the front desk was rude, dismissive, and showed a terrible attitude — especially considering it was my friend’s first experience there.

It’s unacceptable that in a place where we pay to train, the front desk staff do not take their role seriously. I strongly suggest management provides customer service training to the entire team so they can start treating members with the respect and professionalism we deserve.

Nice Gym. Very large tons of equipment. Towel service and sauna. Overall solid spot to workout. Price is reasonable for what you get as well.
