Update: PREMIER HAS RESPONDED AND WAS GIVEN FALSE INFO FROM THEIR STAFF WITHOUT TAKING ANY ACCOUNTABILITY. MY DAUGHTER WAS ALREADY IN HER SESSION WHEN I APPROACHED THE WINDOW. I ALSO STOOD DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW, NOT OFF TO THE SIDE FIDDLING WITH MY THINGS BC I DIDNT EVEN BRING A PURSE OR BAG. WOULD ADVISE TO CHECK YOUR CAMERAS BEFOREHAND. I STAND BY THE WAY I WAS MISTREATED AND THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE EMPLOYEES. I ALSO LET THEM KNOW AT THAT VERY MOMENT HOW I DIDNT APPRECIATE THE WAY I WAS TREATED AND THE BOY BLANK STARED AT ME LIKE HE COULD CARE LESS. I THEN SAID “THATS NOT COOL” and HE SARCASTICALLY TOLD ME TO “HAVE A BLESSED DAY” in A HIGH PITCHED VOICE TRYING TO BE FUNNY.

My daughter has attended this gymnastics program for the 2nd year. We normally are in and out folks due to the lack of any help at this facility but today has been a “fed up” type of moment. Awaiting at the window where 3 individuals (employees) and another child stood on the opposite side talking. I waited patiently to be acknowledged for well over 2 mins. Another woman who walked up after me was greeted immediately and asked how she can be help, while I sat there. I made myself known to all 3 employees before her. I then proceeded to ask, “how come she got greeted and I didn’t” and the little boy working there just looked at me with a blank stare. I told him it was rude and not cool. Again, no one cared. The fact that the other woman was opposite of race to me even more made me feel like this was completely unacceptable and as if I was not treated fairly and justly.

I can't say enough about this gymnastics facility and the positive impact they have made on my daughter. The staff, owner and other gymnasts have been so welcoming, kind, uplifting and supportive. My daughter always looks forward to attending class. Highly recommend Premier Gymnastics.

We had our daughter in classes at Premier Gymnastics Wesley Chapel for three years. Unfortunately, she remained at the bronze level the entire time. Instructors changed frequently, many were very young with little teaching experience, and the classes often left the kids looking bored and unmotivated. There was no consistent progress, follow-up, or encouragement unless you paid extra for private lessons. We’ve decided to discontinue, as the program did not deliver what we expected.

Love this place! I was skeptical about enrolling my 2.5 year old since she is so young but couldn’t be happier that I did! She’s doing so well and LOVES it! I also love that the Tiny Tot class is very small so everyone get individualized attention. My daughter is also obsessed with Coach Lola (she is so great with children) and she even sent my daughter a postcard telling her she was proud of her….. so thoughtful! We love you Coach Lola!!! I highly recommend this gym! You won’t be disappointed.

3.5 stars but that will likely change, soon, to a higher rating. My daughter has been going to PG for almost 3 cycles. I was very unpleased with Premier. The instructors my daughter had were young, distracted, and I felt my daughter was barely learning. With the first instructor I just pushed through, she was nothing special, just bleh, and most of the time it wasn't her assigned instructor teaching it was someone else, most times, inconsistent, ordinary (end of school year, maybe that was why)--then, she moved up and had a different instructor-- training was even worse. I could no longer ignore the lack of attention and spoke to the office manager about moving my daughter to someone who knows what they're doing and actually has experience working with kids. The office manager was professional, but uninterested and did not validate my concerns despite my efforts to make things work. I don't think she was listening, there was no understanding, no empathy, there was no accountability, no appreciation for feedback, nothing. She simply moved her. My daughter was moved, and finally, we are good. My daughter is happy, and learning, and I see her instructor actually watching her, teaching the techniques, encouraging her, and praising her accomplishments. Her instructor is engaged in the lesson and the group. I was so close to pulling her out, but finally feel she has a skilled instructor that cares about doing good work.

My daughter has been at Premier since she was 14 months, she's now 3.5 years old. We began in Mommy-and-me and she continues to move up. We've had the opportunity to be with Cassidy. my daughter loves her, so do I. She is an exceptional coach for these young ones. Cassidy is very patient, she understands that there are stages to the growth and learning of children and at the end of the day they are just kids. My daughter enjoys gymnastics so much but thank you to Cassidy that she keeps excelling. Cassidy sees her strengths and pushes her for more but with such grace and love. And if my daughter is having a hard time with a skill, she keeps teaching her and guides her to do better. We absolutely love her! If we are able to stick with her throughout my daughter's gymnastics journey we definitely will!!!

I was going to write another review about an incident but it wont let me. But I want to thank Courtney and Abby for their support and concern with a matter that happened earlier this week with Denise. I saw a few negative reviews about Denise already. We did a makeup class earlier in the week with a different coach and Denise was there helping out. I noticed she was very annoyed, frustrated and impatient that my 3.5 year old was not understanding the skill and how to complete 5 steps at the same time. My daughter being just 3, also being bilingual AND her second class in intermediate hasn't even truly understood that there are new expectations for her, nonetheless that Cassidy is very gentle, yet firm, and graceful when she teaches. That was not what Denise was giving off. She even put her hand on top of my daughter's head to move her head to look at her and "pay attention". Treating my daughter like she's an 'idiot' and being just being straight up rude. I am all for pushing and challenging but Denise wasn't challenging, she was giving her too many instructions at the same time and then getting mad because my daughter wasn't comprehending. Like I told the managers, I do not want my daughter being taught by her or even her being helped by Denise.
And after seeing the other negative reviews about Denise, I am actually surprised she's still working there!!!!!

Our daughter's skills and confidence have grown considerably from her time at Premier Gymnastics. She has a positive relationship with the coaches. Ms. Emma has helped our daughter improve her gymnastics abilities. She will continue to take classes at Premier. I would recommend this gym. Our only issue is that the seats for parents to view the sessions are so uncomfortable!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
After 10 years at Premier, my daughter still walks in with the same sparkle she had on day one—only now she leaves with chalky hands, big goals, and even bigger confidence. The coaches are truly exceptional: they know when to push, when to praise, and how to turn nerves into grit. The facility is spotless and organized, but what really shines is the culture—kind, safe, and supportive. This gym isn’t just where she trains; it’s her home away from home. If you’re looking for a place that builds strong gymnasts and even stronger humans, this is it. They always, always stick the landing.

Our daughter has been attending Premier gymnastics since we started mommy and me classes as a toddler, she is now 8 and excelling in a team program. We love Premier and the coaches, as well as the Office staff, it feels like family. They keep us informed, and most importantly they keep her motivated and interested in her goals.

After a year here, we canceled — and it breaks my heart for my 3-year-old daughter, who is incredibly gifted for her age. I’m fine with tough coaching, but what I witnessed was not toughness — it was belittling, passive-aggressive, and harmful to toddlers’ self-esteem.

The final straw was hearing Miss Denise tell a brand-new student, “She’s not a very good gymnast,” directly to her face, followed by a sarcastic shrug to another coach. I’ve seen her kick toddlers out, exaggerate behavior to parents, and suggest they rethink the sport entirely. This pattern has happened more than once, and even some teenage coaches here seem overwhelmed with the toddler classes.

When you’re paying $160–$200+ for once-a-week sessions, you expect professional, patient coaching — not treatment that could crush a child’s confidence at such a young age. We canceled on the spot and got a refund. What spoke volumes was that the front desk staff showed no surprise, no concern, and no attempt to keep a family who had been there for over a year.

The gym may have a wall full of awards, but that means nothing if you can’t create an environment that builds children up instead of breaking them down. My daughter deserved better.

Message to the gym: Spare me your generic “we’re saddened” response or your request to call or email. I’ve heard it all before — this review is my voice, and it stands as is.

We were there 5 years. Compulsory program was great for us. Then it all went downhill for optionals.

The owner is the optionals coach. Don't believe their mission statement about a positive encouraging environment. Her idea of motivation is to emotionally abuse girls and tell them how disappointed she is,how embarrassed they should be, and how they are making the gym look bad. To the point where it becomes dangerous. At meets she gives them a laundry list of things to remember before they start each event and gets them so nervous their heads are so full. If warm-ups are not going well, the girls gets yelled at repeatedly which makes them more frustrated. Then after they are done with an event she tells them they forgot to do things or what was wrong. How about just say "good job" and leave the rest for practice? There is zero confidence or motivation building. Just lots of yelling, visible frustration, arguing with the other coach and overall miserable experience.

She spends more time focused on unfounded rumors from people instead of doing her job. If she hears you might be leaving in a few months from someone she will take it personally and then take it out on you and your kid, even if it isn't true. And when you tell her it isn't true she tells you you're lying. Their unprofessional behavior extends to saying inappropriate things to young girls such as "you'll see how much better things are now that x is gone" when they miss their friends and try to get information out of them. They even talk to the girls about other girls which is so inappropriate. They act like petty children instead of professional adults. They tell the girls they should be more like x. There are clear favorites.

There's a reason they haven't had any college recruits and people leave in droves every year from the teams. They don't have qualified coaches and their turnover rate at the optional level is huge. Any coach that comes in with experience and suggestions is gone within a month. Then it's spun to say that coach wasn't a good fit. Funny how very few people are a good fit. Every gymnast that does leave has to play catchup because they are behind on skills.

They do not welcome any input or questions from parents. Any concerns you have will be met with "that's not true and you're wring." They never take responsibility for anything and always spin the facts to make everything their customer's fault. But when you dont agree to talk to them because you already know what to expect you're also at fault.

Save yourself the time and go find a well established program that has yielded results and that actually understands the concept of encouragement and motivation.Find a gym with coaches that know the required skills for competition and have a proven record helping kids reach their goals. Find a gym that values education and schedules practice afyer school instead of "just take her out of school early" mentality. Because this place is not any of those things.

I will review everything I can on this horrific place. If you have a toddler and looking to introduce to gymnastics. Dont , I repeat, dont go here. My daughter is , 2. Worst place ever. If you are looking for an instructor who shows gymnastics equipment for a totality of 15 seconds. Then, proceed to yell at your kids and sit, stare into oblivion. Youve come to the right place. Not to mention, after your instructor did nothing- , if the child didnt “listen” 2 yr old to her 15 sec instruction . They dont give your baby, a stamp. I was so sad for my daughter, I brought her a stamp pad, the girl is 2. Shame on this facility.

The Staff is very rude and immature. They prefer tough love instead of encouragement and kindness as their technique/ motivation.
We brought our concerns up to the instructors and my daughter was removed without any explanation or a phone call. We tried speaking to the business owner and she also ignored our concerns.
My daughter has been doing gymnastics for a long time and loved it. This place has ruined it for her. She said they treated her like a dog and they clearly had favorites.
As a not favorite person she spent more time sitting and waiting than doing anything.
On top of that, there’s a “good old mom’s club” going on, unless you are a someone who just says yes and agree to all the things, don’t even try, you will get bullied out of this place.

We’ve had a great experience with Premier Gymnastics. The teachers are very nice and the front desk people have always been very nice and professional. I like that they keep the online portal updated with student progress so I’m able to easily see my daughter’s progress. The viewing area by the mats does get pretty crowded but they also have the waiting area by the entrance to provide some relief. The biggest pain point is definitely the parking lot, many time we have to park by the pet store that’s at the entrance of the small plaza but overall very happy with the gym.

My family and I found Premier lacks quality customer service. The front office staff is regularly rude, and the coaches my 4-year-old had showed little enthusiasm or approachability. We stayed here over a year hoping it would improve because my daughter likes gymnastics but this business needs an overhaul, starting with improved attitudes and better valuing customers.

I give it 2 stars because my daughter does enjoy the gymnastics itself, however I recommend seeking a better experience elsewhere.

We left because they won’t make a rule about people standing up at the glass and blocking everyone who is sitting on the bleachers. Parents get in fights with each other over this. Sit on the bleachers and watch your children don’t block other parents who are following the rules. In addition to this our child never would be moved up a level in two years even though in other centers they were higher level with much more advanced skills than just weekly somersaults. They were able to do all skills but they still kept our child in the same level. Go to a place that cares about the customer not just the money.

We tried out the gymnastics trail class at 11:20 today with Denise.

My daughter has been to many different classes and trails, and never have I ever seen her crying the way she did today.

I was speaking to another mom in the beginning of the class, but later noticed Amara get sad, then slowly start to cry and keep trying to come to the door.

I felt that as an instructor of toddlers, my child would feel safe and encouraged.

Denise was extremely rude. At the ending of the class when she was near the windows, I could hear her speaking to both my child and the other other one rudely/sharply and in a tone one does not use towards a child.

I heard her say to my child why are you crying. What's wrong with you. Pay attention. And after my child finally crumbled under the pressure and started crying, obviously snot came out of her nose. And instead of comforting her or even signaling to me, hey maybe your kid needs a break. She literally in an awful manner yelled go to you mom now.

This is unacceptable. I took my daughter to the bathroom and tried to calm her. But she was traumatized by the incident. After getting her calm in the car she told me she hurt her chin, tried to tell Denise. But got yelled at by her and ignored. And finally she broke down.

My daughter goes to school, she had Tae Kwon do and swimming. Never no other instructor had been this horrible.

I am not a confrontational person. But right now I am Lavid. No one picked up the phone afternoon when i called.

I spoke to another mom who sends her child there and she reiterated that Denise also has done the same to her child.

Why do you have her as an instructor? Especially for a toddler class. Do better.

By 2 year old was SO excited to try gymnastics. She can be very shy and timid so I was excited for her when she was eager to get out on the mats. Our experience was unfortunately not a great one. We were done after 15 minutes. The coach did not seem to be trained to work with such young kids. My daughter was definitely distracted but she was in a new environment....and is 2.5. The coach was just constantly screaming my daughters name over and over. Not encouraging her or modeling, but yelling at her. I felt there were much better ways to get a child's attention. She then modeled 5 stations at one time. way too much for a little one to grasp all at once. When my daughter was a little confused and didn't do it correctly (one hand instead of 2) she was again yelled at. She began to tear up and the coach didn't try to help or encourage her, instead just looked to me to tell me she was crying. I tried to encourage my daughter to go back out there, but then I realized, ya know, I wouldn't want to be out there either...so we left. Mind you, there was only 1 other child in this class. So I feel the coach definitely could have spent a little extra time helping a new gymnast.

Really hoping this coach was just having a bad day. I know we're all human. Just really disappointed in our experience.

I guess they just want to deal with the girls that are experts and have been there for a while because they are terrible at dealing with new girls. Especially if the girl is a scared and starts crying. Good luck!

I grew up in cheerleading and gymnastics gyms. My mom was a gym owner/coach and I was a coach.
A couple neighbors recommended this gym since it’s near where we live. They do not have a gymnastics background so they don’t know any better.
I brought my 2 young girls for trials. As soon as we walked in, there was no one working the desk, or she wasn’t seen. We stood there for over 10 mins waiting when someone finally appeared. Another lady was wanting to purchase outfits so she helped her and then checked us in 5 mins later when she was done. Nothing was even said to us until then. Although we had arrived 15 mins early, this still made us a few minutes late to the first class. The gym was fairly busy and to have only 1 front desk girl, I was very surprised and she was running around the entire time.
Being able to actually see your child was difficult. Navigating bleachers and people standing and sitting and the kids moving from one spot to another. This was an annoyance but the gym is making do with what they have so it is what it is.
Although kids were rotating through different areas, beam, floor, bars etc, while in that area, coaches concentrated on a kid for a few minutes each. The rest of the kids being too young were unattended and doing whatever they wanted or didn’t want. In a situation with young kids, it’s best to have an obstacle course type learning where they’re constantly doing something. Again, just poor coaching and organization. Coaches seemed very young though too and inexperienced.
During my 6 year olds class, my daughter-first time on the bar and first time rotation-was not being spotted as the coach had her doing a back hip circle? And fell straight on her back and shoulders. This coach walked away from her for about 30 secs a couple mins later to help a child that was fooling around too. A few minutes later she got rotated to a different bar and a different coach. After a couple mins of coaching, the same young girl was again fooling around and distracting the class. This coach also walked away from my daughter on the bar to help the distracting child and my daughter slipped forward and was head down on the bar holding on for about 3 minutes before the coach finally came back to her-she bever even had glanced in her direction!! My husband and I both had jumped up at this. My daughter came running out after being helped down and said she felt very uncomfortable and nervous and didn’t want to continue.
My brain instantly goes “you have to finish the class”… and sent her back in but instantly regretted it realizing I should have pulled her then and there. They did switch to beam at that point at least. Finally when both classes ended, kids were just let out the door to the waiting area. Teachers didn’t make sure kids got to parents much less discuss how kids did. Being our first time there I was shocked by this at the same time we were beyond ready to leave and I was shaking and angry and glad no one approached me to try to sign us up.

Left my daughter out at the awards banquet because she is moving. Didnt call her name and recognize her accomplishments. Didnt make awards for her and embarrassed her in front of the whole dinner. Owner yelled at mom for being upset. Threatened to throw mom out because she was upset. Refused to address the situation. Owner is all about money. Yells at parents. Owner is emotionally unstable. Stay far away from this gym. They are all about money and do not care about each gymnast. Why would you not care about a gymnastics just because she is moving. Terrible Owner

Update:

We gave Premier another shot and I do feel like all my feedback was heard. I have more updates and the coach has remained the same. The one on one coaching with my daughter has improved as well. While not perfect, I am happy to have seen improvement at the gym.
We have had several coach changes over a short period of time. In addition to that the tools they attempt to use to communicate are not utilized. We went 8 weeks with only 1 out of 105 of her skills evaluated. I communicated my concerns and saw no progress. We made the unfortunate decide to pause and are pursuing other gyms at this time, which will require much more commute time. I wish they would resolve the communication and consistency issues as the location was very convenient for us.

We love Premier for our girls. We moved slightly out of the area and tried 3 other gyms but the girls were miserable. We now drive from Land O Lakes to Premier just bc we were not happy elsewhere. They are clean and we love how they must master certain skills before advancing on. Coach Sean is amazing. My middle girl was nervous about having a "boy coach" but loves being in his class. She's especially happy that he sent her a post card about her dedication. Such a sweet and thoughtful person- it made her day!

I like that this place has plenty of time options for your gymnast. Even Sundays are an option. Some classes require a wait list, but that's to be expected. The coaches are kind and overall I think my girls are growing their skills thanks to their instruction. The only con I can think of is that during some times of the day, this place can get crowded. The gym floor is perfectly balanced though, which is what matters the most. Just the waiting area is crowded; if that happens, I prefer to wait in the car. No big deal. Overall, I'm happy with this club.

Our kid completed couple of months of classes and based on our experiences, we won't be recommending Premier Gymnastics.
Several reasons.
1. Place feels crowded. Each instructor has like 8-10 kids to manage and not enough time spent on each kid. We didn't feel like our child got the personal 1 on 1 with their instructor.

2. We asked the front desk about lack of progress even after coming for over 6 months, they referred back to instructor who has zero time as they have already moved to next batch. You will be on hold for an hour if you try calling front desk, was easy to drive over and talk.

3. There is lack of visibility into what goes into assessment of kids and what criteria is being applied.

This is another swim seal in making. Stay away!
They will keep the kid on leash, move them very very slowly while making you pay fees.
If your kids really likes Gymnastics take them elsewhere.

So far they are excellent. They give a report after every class with those on how to improve anything that needs it. This is helpful, plus she shows improvement. They also will not allow her to do it wrong, even if it means she has to step back and be unable to do it until she relearns it the right way. They use games too develop s friendly competition culture which is what they need to get ahead. It also helps her in areas outside off gymnastics. So far, they are amazing!

After our review, the location contacted us and made things right for us. I appreciate the communication and service we received to resolve our issues.

Signed our twin boys up after taking a free tumbling class for beginners boys gymnastics. After paying fees and membership, quickly realized why there were few boys. The instructor had hard time managing even 4 boys and with 5, our boys sat for over 20 minutes per class. They changed instructor and new instructor ask us to help guide our boys who were following negative behaviors of older students. May be good for girls but we will not even go to final classes because its been negative for our boys. Going to another school.

If your looking for a new gym, you won’t find better than Premier in the Tampa Bay Area. Both of my girls are part of their competitive program on the optionals team and have been competing for 5 years, with the last 2.5 being at Premier. Prior to coming to Premier I visited 5 different gyms before choosing Premier because they offered everything that was important to me and my girls including a safe environment, qualified coaches, proactive coaching, direct feedback and communication, and a passion for the sport from the coaches that I have yet to see anywhere. The difference in my girls from where they were when we started at Premier to where they are now is unbelievable and exciting. They are stronger, more focused, and better gymnasts overall. We are so thankful to call Premier our home away from home because it truly is, and we couldn’t ask for better coaches. They motivate, encourage, push (when needed), and always have the girls’ best interest at heart. I am thankful that we found Premier and can’t imagine being anywhere else.

This gym is great! My daughter had been asking to start gymnastics for about a year. We gave it a chance and had Coach Cody the first few weeks. She was absolutely amazing with the kids. We recently switched to another great coach, coach Nina, who is so sweet and teaches well. My daughter loves them both. Tonight we had class and my daughter has been complaining of her wrist hurting her. We had coach Cody. The coach noticed my daughter crying and sat on the mat with her helping her stretch her wrists properly. Then did not leave her side until she was ok and up and moving again. She takes the time to make sure her class is all doing things in correct form. She encourages them, but also lets them know when they need to be working harder. In a positive but firm way. I have watched many many coaches with the kids and this seems to be an amazing gym! We have been here for about 5/6 months now and loving it. The staff is very friendly and and works well with you when you have to miss class for whatever the reason may be. I definitely recommend this gym.

My daughter is attending the tiny tots classs for 9 weeks now. She loves it. The only thing is the little ones need bit more attension, it is not really poasoble for 1 teacher to manage 6. There are 2 teachers in some classes, but not all. Ms, Morgan is nice bacuse she make sure to stop them from running (my 3 yr old is always running) and make sure they do the flips/jumps correctly.

This is an amazing facility. My family had signed me up for my very first gymnastics class in a while on a Wednesday. I’m not gonna lie I really missed gymnastics. My experience was amazing. It was so great I HAD to come in that following Friday for open gym. However, on that day, I had broken my ankle trying to do a complex skill (a back full) in which I wasn’t capable of doing. The staff was so friendly to me and provided me with the things I needed. They comforted me with stories about past injuries and how it’ll be ok. Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that once I get out of my cast I’m going to try my hardest to get back at Premier and return better than what I was before. On the other hand, when I broke my ankle I was on the trampoline flipping onto a mat. But I’m my opinion I had bought the mat was EXTREMELY hard and may be the other cause to the breakage of my ankle. That is why I feel like this Facility should be rated a 4/5 because although their staff is AMAZING, their equipment isn’t up to date.

I was looking for a gymnastics school for my three year old daughter so I called Premier Gymnastics at 2 in the afternoon today and the staff I spoke to told me to bring her in for the 6:20 class and to go to the front desk so they can take down my information. I came into the gym at 6 pm and gave her my information and she said that the class was full which i should have been told on the phone so that I dont waste my time getting my daughter ready and telling her shes going to class. She didnt even say Im sorry for the misunderstanding or let me get the manager to see what could be done. I didnt even start and already had a horrible experience what the lady on the phone should have done is take my information and put me in or check if there was even availability. Not only did they loose a potential family coming here but someone who was going to pay for 1 year in advance. My mistake throughout this is I did not get the girls name over the phone.

Overall this was the worst gymnastics experience that my five-year-old had. I had signed her up for a class, the day we arrive the teacher was not there and there was a substitute she was put into a class of kids who were already doing the class previously, so my child was unaware of what was to be expected of her, she was confused. she spent most of the class crying at only one time did someone approach we asked what was wrong and when I explained that she wasn't unaware of what was going on and needed help in the class and was getting no instruction Of any kind and there she went and happy excited to did, I left never wanting to come back. No one showed emotion or that they cared for her feelings no one ever approached me and no one ever called when we never returned for another class but they happily cashed my check and took the money for the entire month that we never returned to. I called and was never given a manager or owner I was never given a return call back. I also found it ironic since while I was at the class within the first five minutes I asked for information on advertising within the gym since I am a local business owner and they still didn't seem to care. She since does activities at other places and enjoys her instructors that she has and has a good time. The facility itself is beautiful I just wish our experience has been much better
