Just starting physical fitness and find the classes helpful and informative. Some of the machines are older but still do the job. Surprised to find the sauna, steam room and whirlpool when I went to a class at the pool. I think this is a feature they would point out when you join. The class instructors are knowledgeable but in the workout area with the machines you are left on your own until you realize you need to set an appointment for orientation. Duh. I know this is a world where everyone seems to workout but there are still a few of us that have no idea what to do. This might be something to consider when signing someone up and ask their fitness level and at least suggest the orientation. Also, the staff doing orientation should be more specific with how often to do the routines. I asked if I could work out everyday and was told yes. After doing it for two weeks I learned you should break up your routine and not do the same muscle groups everyday. Things like this should be emphasized by the staff. But on the whole I am happy that I joined and would recommend this facility. Also, I get a kick out of the encouraging signs they have around the parking area.

Needs rennovation and updating to be considered a modern facility. Music selection is worse than an elevator soundtrack
Update: nothing has changed. It's dirty and organized first thing in the morning. Garbage around the gym and equipment scattered.

A very nice facility. Lots of equipment, snack bar, racket ball, swimming pool. They seem to have a nudity phobia. Swimsuits are required for the Steam room, Sauna, and Jacuzzi. I don't bring swim trunks unless I'm going swimming. I assume a towel is acceptable as a "bathing suit" in the sauna or steam room, but I used to enjoy the jacuzzi, but I'm always forgetting my bathing suit. LOL. A good place though. Friendly staff.

I was here for a review for physical therapy. I have used them before for different physical therapy things. The therapists are very thorough and don't rush you. I always feel I can ask any question I want to and they will find an answer or give me one. Its a relatively calm place to be in. Which is nice when you're there working out for something specific.

Great gym especially for a hospital. Interesting mix of the superfit and decrepit. I saw a totally ripped woman doing kickbacks who had to be at least 90 here.

Good trainers and classes. But equipment is old and frequently broken, especially whirlpool and pool. Sometimes no hot water.

I really love this gym, mostly due to the childcare. Mrs. Planetta and Mrs. Krystal are so wonderful, they need raises! :D All the staff in the childcare room are awesome. They have helped me with encouraging my son during potty training. They entertain the kids and truly care about the kids. We didnβt go to the gym one morning and my two year old son cried for βYa-yaβ (Mrs. Planetta) and said he loved her and wanted to go! Itβs so nice to drop off your kids and not have to worry about them. Itβs also extremely secure- there is a camera and a two way door system and the childrenβs area is on the third floor, far far away from the door. Once inside there is a locked shorter door so the kids are separate from the door. As far as the gym goes, itβs good too. I like most of the classes, but really wish they would add βbarreβ like the viera location has. I have to drive there to do this class. The childcare is what makes this gym wonderful though!

In the first floor is a customer service desk, very good small place to eat, 2 racket ball courts and swimming pool, upstairs is the work out area surrounded by a walking track, another floor with specific class rooms. Large parking lot.

Friendly staff, they have a nice swimming pool. In the gym, some equipment is old and hard to adjust. On the good side, all necessary machines and free weights are there. Highly recommend this place.

Equipment is old and often broken. The men's locker room needs updating and is usually messy. However, the kid fit area is great. My kids love going there.

Terrible. I called multiple times and even visited the club to see if I can sign up for swimming lessons and not one person has had the basic courtesy to even contact me. I have given my information to 3 different people. You would think that would make it to the manager at some point but nope. It is sad as my company "recommends" this place but won't be for long! Save your $ and go somewhere else.

I was just there taking a class because I wanted to sign up. I got the papers and information and Mr. Modesto was rude and not very helpful. I just got a call from him saying that if I am joining my wife account he needs to see a marriage certificate! In Puerto rico we don't carry the same last name just for being married. He called 3 times totally rude and I wont sign up in that gym anymore. Great way to treat a client and a veteran!
Thanks for nothing Juan Modesto.

Bathrooms are often dirty, constant stains on carpet and often out of order equipment. Most os the staff is nice but there is no attention to what needs to be done. They are not pro active in fixing anything and pretty much just chat with each other. Paper towel dispenser will be empty for 4 days before someone fills it after you ask someone to get it done. There is no manager to keep it running properly. Great classes and environment despite the run down appearancand lack of effort.

The locker room is frequently dirty, showers are horrible (not clean and faulty hardware), dirty towels on floor, rules not enforced (people taking on phones in areas they are not supposed to), 8-10 y/o boys in the women's locker rooms, sauna dated and dirty. Staff - meh - hardly friendly or helpful. Viera is MUCH better.

I work out in the pool on my doctor's orders. The Melbourne facility is getting a little long in the tooth especially if you've been to the Viera location. Melbourne's jacuzzi frequently breaks down is cold in the mornings (Viera's isn't) I've even seen it surrounded by ants. I've had to report mold and mildew issues repeatedly. The handrail for the jacuzzi is probably STILL loose and wobbly even though I reported it as needing repair a half dozen times. That being said it's still one of the only gym chains locally with pools so having them available has made a difference in my life. But I do make the 20+ mile drive from Palm Bay to Viera instead of the 12 mile trip to Melbourne. The Viera facility is just that much nicer.

The machines are pretty nice and they do a good job making everything clean. As far as gyms are concerned, I think this is the best value in Melbourne. They have every machine that I like to use (although I am mostly into the treadmill).
