I love this gym. Much better environment than commercial gyms, which can be intimidating for some gym goers, like myself. I felt very comfortable here. No wait for machines regardless of time. The pictures on the wall and TV are very inspiring and at times push me to work harder and push through my workouts. Overall great gym :)

I lived in Zephyrhills for 4 years and was a member at another chain gym the whole time. I did not realize Retro was open 24 hours with key access. I tried the gym one day when all the other gyms were closed down. Retro was open. I was blown away. A REAL gym for REAL lifters! If you are serious about fitness, bodybuilding, powerlifting or just getting more fit...this is your gym! Obviously created by, and ran by serious lifters. Great equipment, with tons of variety! Keeping all of the old school equipment mixed in with great modern tech. Up tempo rock music playing. TV's have inspirational videos playing. Posters of bodybuilders, fitness competitors of every category on the walls to inspire. Tributes to military and Law enforcement! And the people and Vibe of this gym are unreal!! I have not had a bad workout since joining! Facilities clean and extremely well maintained! Pricing is great! If you cant get into your best shape at this gym..its 100% on you! My new home!

I've been a member of dozens of gyms since I started exercising 25 years ago. RetroFlex in Zephyrhills is one of my all time favorites. I purchased a two month membership in Jan. 2024 as a "snowbird" returning home to visit my mom and share my home state with my wife. I never expected the gym to be a highlight of my vacation. But Retroflex helped me start each day just right. The SiriusXM 90s/2000s Rock channel sets a great atmosphere for a strong workout. Every morning the staff were diligently vacuuming and cleaning the whole gym. The morning members were very friendly! It's a great membership base - The people there actually work out and don't just sit around chatting it up. Members return weights where they got them and have great overall gym etiquette. The gym is spacious while still being filled with fantastic equipment. Free Motion, Life Fitness, all the old school quality brand from the 90s and 2000s is available. You've got old school calf machines, squat racks, and anything else you can imagine. As the name implies there's a comfortable "retro" throwback motif reflecting the glory days of bodybuilding. Hundreds of signed photos and memorabilia of bodybuilders line the walls and videos from fitness competitions play on the TVs in the free weight area. It's a motivating visual while also not being intimidating to newcomers. The center's staff and members are very welcoming to visitors of all experience levels. I could continue gushing more but at this point the review's probably too long already. Thanks to the staff and members for having me this winter! If my wife and I choose to relocate, I'll definitely return as a full fledged member!

My husband has been going to this gym on and off for the last 5 years (he switched gyms for two years when he lived with me in Valrico). This gym is amazing! he was very unmotivated at the other gym. He went to, but when he convinced me to move to Zephyrhills, he joined again and he looks amazing! Not only that he feels amazing! The staff is super friendly and very nice. The gym is clean and people are friendly.
The thing that surprised me the most was that most gems smell disgusting … especially smaller gyms. This establishment doesn’t smell at all! I can actually walk in there without feeling like I’m walking into a locker room!
Would definitely recommend 100% . The woman who runs the front desk is super sweet and very helpful! I absolutely love her!

I’ve never been a fan of the gym but I’m proud to say I am a regular now. It was initially a bit intimidating but everyone is so nice & helpful. Rarely a wait at the machines and the classes are amazing. Brittney has been an absolute joy as a trainer and instructor. She is so supportive and has an amazing energy to be around. I will continue to come even when I move!

This is the number 1 place that comes to .ind when you want a great environment to excel in weight training or just to get in shape! There's no judgment everyone there is on a path to success! The owners are amazing and helpful i can even begin to explain how thankful I am for them and this gym! My second home now! A great gym for those who don't like the large franchises that treat you like a number and try to force personal trainers on you. A nice sized gym with all the equipment you need for a healthy lifestyle. Never really crowded, don't have to wait for equipment, great gym etiquette by the fellow members (wiping down equipment, etc.). Just an overall great gym to train. Definitely better than any large cookie cutter franchise gym by a mile.

Was a member for two years at this place. Paid my membership every month even though I wasn’t able to use it due to unforeseen injuries. Went in last week and cancelled it finally. They still took out the payment and they refuse to refund it. They’re more concerned with their contract than taking care of people in this community so I do not recommend anyone join this gym. So I want everyone to know that goes there and that is from around here that this is not an upstanding member of the community and they will NOT do right by you as a member. Hope it was worth the $20 retroflex. ✌️

The gym was good, but no rowing machines. Went once and canceled my membership 2 days after opening it, they refused to refund me and still charged another month. Not only is it 24 hours, but the name Retro Flex is exactly what it sounds like and is the definition or what a gym should be. I worked out in the evening time a few times and everyone is friendly. I mainly work out after 12am, so even when it's a little empty. Others will help you out when you need it.

I usually go late night or very early morning so usually only about 2-4 peeps there. Various work out machines and free weights. The only complaint I have, du to my allergies and lobectomy, is the horrible flowery auto air fresher. Can we change the scent?

Super great gym! I love that it is open 24 hours. It has every piece of equipment you could want! They have an entire room dedicated to legs! They have a few fitness classes, a smoothie bar, and a tanning room. It's pretty busy in the middle of the day, but the evening hours are great.

This place is cool. Yeah, there's really fit people working out there. But there are also just average people wanting to get healthy. Wide range of equipment, nice friendly staff to greet you, and I like the fact that it's not a huge gym. There's Wi-Fi too which is nice for when you want to use your headphones.
Only negative thing is that there isn't a locker room, but there are enough bathrooms to make up for it.
