Just a terrible experience I had today , walked in I had called prior to going in to gauge the feel of business indicated I would be in around 2 Now I been coming here since the early 2000’s never making or needing a tee time in the afternoon after 2 ….the two employees Eddie and Jenn upon arriving at 2:07 first Eddie the NO SHOW then Jenn proceeded to say the same thing the NO SHOW , to say I was livid and upset as a customer is an understatement , I wanted to leave on the spot but stayed and played . I always have had great experiences at this course with the owner and his son but this is not the first time Jenn has been rude today was the last straw , sorry I will play here just not the every week support as in all the years I been coming here , Best Wishes

Course is a little rough and run down but its not super busy and a great course for beginners to not feel rushed. Not a ton of spots to lose balls and not a ton of danger of hitting houses.

1st time golfing there , liked all the spacious fairways and woods. The greens on the front 9 need a little tlc but the back 9 were great. Nice place to golf and get away from everyday life. Loved the long drives and plenty of par 4 and 5's.

We've played here twice recently. Great customer service, clean carts, well kept greens and the scenery is just simply old Florida with majestic trees! Super friendly people from checking in, getting our carts and making sure we had everything we need.

I have not played Rivard in the last four years. At that time it was known to be in poor shape. Especially the greens, which more often than not was just dirt.
Well, we played yesterday afternoon. I have to say I was shocked. The fairways, rough and greens had grass. The fringes, which in the past had been sand, are now in great condition. The entire course has certainally made a drastic comeback.

I just spent 15 minutes on hold while listening to a group of employees in the background talk about their work day. I attempted to call back, and the line was busy. The man that answered the phone asked me to hold and put the phone down before I could respond. If you're going to leave people on hold for over 15 minutes, instead ask them to call back if you can't operate with common practical customer service skills.

The greens are not well maintained on this course. It almost seems as if the fairways receive more attention.

Additionally, we started on the back 9, and got blasted by the sprinklers on the 14th hole, soaking our clothing, cart, cell phones and wallets. The sprinklers came on on the green of the 15th hole as we approached it, causing us to be unable to finish the hole. We skipped the 16th hole, thinking they may have been on a timer. I went in to have a conversation with the individual running the service desk upon completion of the 18th hole. I was advised the sprinklers were not on a timer, but were triggered by an employee, which I advised made the fact they turned on when we were directly in front of it worse. He went on to state that the sprinklers were an "occupational hazard," at which time I advised him I have been golfing for 30 years and have never had sprinklers be so poorly timed or monitored.

Between the greens and disregard from the staff member assigned to the service desk, we will not be returning to this course.

TODAY May 29, 2022 I visited this course for 18 holes. By far the worst course I have ever been to yes $22 isn't alot to play but this course was in deplorable condition. NOT WORTH $5 to play. You mise well putt your ball on the cart path the greens on every hole is trash and every hole you are in the blind and you don't know what green your driving to there is no map of the course or map for each hole DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY I will never go there again

I am extremely appalled by the service I have received from this golf club. I am new to golfing I have only been golfing less than a month and I am very excited to do so. I have went to this course multiple times and spent hundreds of dollars going there over and over to be told that I am too slow of a golfer to play on their course and that I need to hurry my day up. I have never once held up another golfer and anytime I did I let somebody play through!! I will never return here again they have lost my business as well as a bunch of people that follow me because I’m a tattoo model and I literally have fans ask me where to go!!! you will never have any of my friends or fans come to your place again I have never ever been disrespected like this before. I truly believe it’s because I’m a girl with tattoos and I’m being judged by the way I look!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!

This was a great course to play. There was four in our group and basically played right through. The staff is so great very friendly and helpful. The only thing I could find fault with is the players not fixing there ball marks on the greens. Talk with staff on this issue and seems like they spend alot of money paying to have someone go out and fix them. I always thought of it being the players responsibilities to fix them. Guess its like going to the grocery store and shopping carts all over the parking lot. So sad.

Course is okay at best, greens are borderline unplayable and unkept. This is a very cheap course so I suppose you get what you pay for. One positive is they were accommodating for a larger group (6 players) The reason for the low rating here is the way we were treated. Me and a group of family members payed for 9 rounds of golf total and about $100 in food and drinks over a 2 day period and at one point we’re chastised by the wait staff for paying by credit card for food and drinks since their receipts don’t have an option to tip when paying card. One of the guys in the clubhouse waved my card in my face and questioned and berated me simply for not having cash on me stating “I should” to be able to tip. Despite it being an issue with their inability to keep up with the times or even have an atm on site (which I asked about) I was basically scolded in front of a full clubhouse simply for paying for refreshments with an extremely common method (visa). Spent 5 years in the restaurant industry and rarely tip less than 30% and don’t tolerate this type of disrespect in a service environment. One of the most classless experiences I’ve ever had.

The course is in good shape and it's got a good mix of distance and dog legs. Not too much water so you can try to be aggressive without getting smoked by the course.
The gentleman working the clubhouse was hands down the nicest golf course manager I've ever encountered. He even remembered my name when my round was over. Just last week, at a different course, I was treated like garbage so the incredible hospitality of this course really made an impression on me.
I'm getting back into golf after a 3 year hiatus due to time restraints from becoming a father and this course will be my go to from now on and all because of stellar customer service.

Wow. I've never played a course Without a single sand trap. And slow slow slow greens. These tent, tiny beat up greens were hairier than a woman's private part in a 70's porno, no joke. The course is pretty cool in terms of scenery and big beautiful trees which was nice. Definitely a nice country setting but short on challenge and could be maintained much better. A few of the tee boxes were actually just sand, no grass but oh well... Young guy in pro shop was super nice and friendly as was the mustashed bartender.
