The weekly class schedule at the Oviedo location is very limited due to lack of local staff/trainers. I've actually arrived to a scheduled class and then told that the trainer did not show up as her drive in was too far and she would have been too late for class. They do not have a back up plan for no show trainers. Not worth the monthly fee as they can't seem to find a local, loyal committed staff to show up at all different times of the day throughout the week. Rowing class was fun but I saw a continuing problem with them scheduling trainers that should show up at all different times of day during the week to provide us classes. The Oviedo class schedule is very very limited. Not many time slot options offered.

After getting into a car accident I had to cancel my membership due to back pain. I submitted a 30 day notice via email and text. 30 days later I was charged for the next month. I called in and spoke to someone who found my cancelation notice and advised that she would send a message to the manager for a refund and that it was urgent. That was 3 weeks ago. Nothing heard back. No call, email or refund. Very disappointed and would not recommend due to lack of customer service.

Do not sign up for row house any locations, specifically oviedo! I moved 50 plus miles away, cancelled my membership and they are still billing me!!!! That 30 day window is nonsense.

I love this place! It's the most fun workout I've ever done and the Coaches are all super fun and motivating! I was never intimidated at all just very encouraged. They even have themed rows which are really fun, and the music is great. I really do not understand the negative reviews because any time I've had to call and cancel a class they have been more than accommodating and understanding, and I've never been charged a cancellation fee or anything. Overall, it's an awesome, clean, supportive environment and I plan to keep coming back as long as they're here!

Amazing and welcoming! They are always so kind when I walk in. The workout is tough, but not impossible, which makes it feel realistic and possible to complete. Definitely recommend everyone should try it out! Especially this location in Oviedo.

I filled in information and told him I wouldn’t be able to attend until August.

First Call : Hey, I’m interested but can’t come till August. So if you could put that in so I don’t get calls.

Ok!

Second Call: Hey I’ll let you guys know last time that I can’t come in till August. So I would really appreciate it if you could take me off your list I’m getting ready for the school year and you guys are calling me during meetings.

Ok!

Third Call: Hey This will be the third time I’ve asked you guys to not call me what gives?

Them: We got new owners and no one put notes in.

Me: There should be notes.

Them: No the only thing it says in here is that August 2 you asked not to be called every day and that you would contact us.

Me: …. Yup an you add another note that’s clearer

Them: Sure I will make sure it’s in here no problem.

FORTH CALL: Just take me off your list.

Them: Mam I’m so sorry there are no notes in here.

Me … I know there are notes because the last time I called they read them back to me.

Them: No it just says on August 2 you asked not to be called every day and that you would contact us.

Me: yup I would contact you. But now I’m no longer interested… take me off you list I’m no longer interested.

As bad as telemarketers. These are just the four calls I picked up there are several calls that went on answered and tons of text messages too. It Haley like harassment and they apparently don’t read their notes.

I signed up for a one month special. The club's original franchisee pulled out of their contact, and the location was taken over by corporate. It's important to note that the former franchisee currently owns the Winter Park location and they are not affiliated. Also, the parent company for The Row House is Xponential Fitness, LLC., which also owns Pure Barre.

Since re-opening, there are very limited classes with times that suit either a student, someone with a flexible job or not working. For the past two weeks, all I've heard is "we're waiting on corporate to approve instructors and fill the schedule out." And "please bear with us." Every corporate phone number I've been given has been a dead end. And you can't reach anyone at corporate, unless you have gobs of cash and want to open a location.

I wanted a workout program that was motivating and fun, since I'm the first to find a reason to NOT exercise. The Row House (in both Oviedo and Winter Park) is ALL THAT. The coaches are fantastic: There is not a bad one in the bunch, and the classes just fly by.... You don't realize what a good workout rowing is until you do it~I'm stronger / lost weight / feel better / sleep better. I can't say enough good things about how they've handled COVID.... The Ergs (rowing machines) are distanced from the neighboring ergs, so you get a 'safe' workout while being in a class with others. The community vibe is unbelievable... You're rowing with your boat (entire class) in swing, though your own personal workout is what you make it. Great for all levels of athleticism. I had never rowed before, and now I'm in the best shape since High School. YOU MUST TRY THIS

The location is nice and the people are friendly. Getting someone to answer the phone is almost impossible so it makes it difficult to get information you need.

I started my membership in November 2019 in the Oviedo location. When everything closed due to COVID I was given the option to cancel or suspend. I chose suspend. When lockdown was lifted, I tried to reinstate my account but could not do this on the app. I then started calling, after several voicemails I gave up. I was surprised when my credit card was charged for July. Once again I emailed them, and left VM, no response. I then disputed the charge with my CC company, they removed it while investigating and blocked future reoccurring charges. Last week I received an email from RowHouse advising that I am past due for $218. I again emailed (auto response that they will review and respond is a joke). I also left another voice mail. No response to either. I received an email from my card company today that states the Row House has supplied documentation to prove the charge is valid. How interesting that they can respond to my credit card and not me. The CC Company states I should try to work this out with the vendor. I decided today to try and find a corporate email or phone number, but all they have to contact them is a form on the webpage which I completed. I plan to call my CC company again to understand why the charge is valid if I can’t use the service or reach the Row House to get anything resolved. Terrible company to work with I will never recommend them to anyone. Sad because I enjoyed the workouts.

Previous 1 star review: I have never actually been to this facility for a real class under a membership. I did one free class in the last week of February, I was told they had a special at that time if I signed up that day so I did sign up and gave my credit card information. I explained to the person that day I wouldn't be able to actually start until the end of March because I was going to be out of the country for two weeks. As soon as I got back from my honeymoon this whole COVID thing started, I was quarantined for two weeks, then once I was off quarantine then everything else shut down. I had received a call from the prior owners saying they were offering to freeze accounts for people until COVID was over so I took that offer. After everything started opening again in phases I called numerous times trying to reach someone to explain since I work in the hospital and I wasn't (and still am not) comfortable going in to gyms. It took several weeks at that time to reach someone but when I finally did, I was able to speak with the NEW OWNER and he told me he couldn't even find me in their system so I was "all good" and didn't need to do anything further and I was considered "canceled" and wouldn't be charged in the future since HE COULDN'T EVEN FIND ME by my name or number, and then he couldn't even find me on the date of the free class I did. I just figured maybe the freeze canceled me by accident?? But now, just last Friday on 7/3, I was charged, not just once, but twice for $79! So somehow over a month ago he couldn't find me BUT now all of a sudden they have my credit card info to charge me??? Are you kidding?? I have now been calling for over an hour this morning to BOTH locations and no one is answering. Google says they are open. I have left voicemails at both locations as well. I want my money back. I am NOT a member with this company, I never was according to the new owner. I do not recommend this place to anyone as they are horrible business people. This is truly unacceptable and I will not stop calling until I get my money back.

Updated to 5 star- The owner, Moana, called back and explained to me that obviously things have been crazy for them since taking new ownership of the facilities all while the pandemic is going on. Moana was very helpful and understood my side as well, and she was able to solve my problem by removing one charge but because my contract requires me to pay a last month prior to canceling, she told me I can still use these classes from my account when I'm ready. She was very pleasant and I'm happy with the solution. I do hope they are able to solve other people's concerns as well and pray their business makes it through this tough time.

I am a "founding member" (signed up last summer). The facilities, equipment, trainers, and owners are excellent. The equipment they use (concept2) is the standard in rowing. The trainers and owners are very professional and really care about the students. If you have certain areas you want to focus on (goals), they are eager to help meet your goals. The classes are very motivating. They have an app that helps you keep track (automatically) of your progress. When they had to close for COVID19, they called me and offered to freeze my account, and/or, they offered online classes. I gladly recommend The Row House Ovideo to everyone.

No services were rendered during April and I was charged? For what reason? Why isn't anyone in the store answering the emails or our phone calls?

I had previously put my account in freeze due to Covid 19. Last month I noticed they had taken out my membership fee so I called since my account was frozen until further notice . I have called this company 8 times leaving messages to cancel my membership and discuss why they took out my fee when it was frozen. I still have not gotten a returned call. I did Sr d in my 30 day written notice via email and still no response ! Very poor customer service. They have no problem trying to get you to become a member but to cancel they don’t call you back. I’ll never go back

This is a nice workout place. The staff were very friendly. The coach is very encouraging. It’s not easy for me to understand the breakdown of the row at first. I think it takes time to get better at it.
I would bring a pair of work-out gloves because sometimes my hands get hard skin for rowing hard. It’s is very nice of the studio to offer filtered water machine, so I can bring my water bottle.
It is hard to figure out my schedule ahead of time sometimes in order to register into a class.
This location is near many good stores so that I can shop right after the workout, which is very convenient.

The staff and instructors are warm and personable, offering guidance and support as they instruct classes to insure a successful workout with maximum results. I don’t go to gyms so this was a challenge for me and I really enjoy going and meeting new friends as well.
