Our entire experience with Swimtastic had been extraordinary, most especially because of my daughter’s coach Caitlin who has been a patient, skilled, and encouraging teacher. My daughter loves coming to swim lessons and has shown remarkable improvement during her time. I highly recommend this program for swim lessons. And if you get Coach Caitlin, you will certainly be in good hands!

Keira is amazing! She has been working with my son in weekly lessons for a little over a month and has already taught him to float on his back, reach for the side of the pool if ever falling in, and jump up from the bottom when sinking... she is so patient with him when he loses focus. She engages him with interactive pool games and fun tasks. I would definitely recommend Swimtastic to friends and family, specifically because of our experience with Keira thus far!

My two kids have been taking classes at Swimtastic (Cape Coral location) for about a year. They both had consistent instruction and have learned and improved tremendously in their time there. I think they may have had interactions with all instructors (who are all great!), but they spend the most time with their current ones - Coach Caitlyn and Coach Keira. They are fantastic! They are great with the kids, explain the expectations and demonstrate the skills that are being worked on during each class, and give a detailed summary after the classes. Robert is also there very frequently to make sure everything is going well and is always asking if there is anything else he can do to help. He has been extremely accommodating with the schedules and the communication with him and his staff have been great. It's been a great experience for the kids!

This company is very scammy with makeup classes and “trying to keep you enrolled”. The class is taught by teenagers who sit on their phone. This is done in a dirty gym pool, and it’s very awkward and uncomfortable. Not a welcoming fun environment at all. Personally I will be reaching out to the BBB about this business.

Caitlyn is the best! My children have flourished with her as an instructor! The communication between staff and management is great. The manager always takes time to communicate with me and keep me updated, I also noticed that he is kind to his instructors and that's important to me. It is a great example of teamwork and kindness that I appreciate! It's a good demonstration for my children as well ! They are better little people and swimmer's because of it! 10/10 money well spent! Thank you all the staff at swimtastic! I can't say anything but AMAZING! ❤️

I like the concept of swimming lessons at an indoor pool but for what the price of tuition is, your child gets a 30min lesson once a week. In my opinion that's not a good value especially when instruction has to be divided among a handful of other students in the class during that short 30 min lesson time. I also felt that parent/teacher interaction was lacking as I would have appreciated regular feedback on what I can work on with my child to help develop skills. I wish swimtastic the best and understand that others swear by it, but unfortunately it's not for us.

I had my daughter taking lessons here for a time. Most of the time the instructors were great with her in the class. A couple of things I didn't like at the time were that the pool was really cold, the teachers kept switching on her, and one particular time one of the teachers was unpleasant, and thankfully the manager took care of things at the time when the situation came up. I had my daughter do it for part of the year, and then I intended that we were going to take a break because we were going to do a lot of traveling over the month then we were going return to swimming lessons after we got back from traveling. However, when I tried to cancel, I was told that I would get charged a fee. I was kind of shocked and asked why would I be charged a fee because I plan on coming back, and the customer service rep stated that because at the beginning of the registration page on the website, to go forward, you have to click to the next page, except one of those stipulations is that when you click to go forward, you agree to a cancellation fee. I just went ahead and paid it, and decided to never come back since. It felt like a bit of a scam tactic. I've had my kids signed up at dance and karate and have never been charged cancellation fees like this, it's ridiculous.

I have revised my review due to managements very respected response to my previous review. The facts still stand but I was made aware the frustration surrounding the closing, cleanliness and temperature of the pool is very much at the mercy of the gym and steps are being taken to address it. I know that if they were to find another location, I would return. I wasn’t initially pleased with the response I received from my internal escalation but after the review I did receive full credit for the month that hadn’t begun yet which is the appropriate action in my opinion and I appreciate that the time was taken to speak with me sincerely.

This company offers attractive pricing however the kicker is that they cancel so many classes. We have been enrolled since April and I called at the end of June to have them confirm how many classes were scheduled vs how many they had canceled on us (keep in mind they cancel less than an hour in advance no matter how many times you explain that more notice is needed when your getting an infant ready for swim class that’s located half an hour away) and she confirmed they had canceled on me 50% of the time since starting with them. When they charged me almost $180 in the month of July for the “additional Sunday” they then canceled the very first class with no option for reimbursement. When I did call to cancel they stated they would only reimburse 50% for the month of August which hasn’t even begun yet. After escalating the matter they sent a very insincere email also stating my VM wasn’t set up which is incorrect. This place is not worth the money. Sonny is great and actually interacts with them but the others we’ve had barely threw a duck in the pool. Save your money or spend it on someone who won’t rip you off.

Terrible experience for us. They frequently cancel classes, you show up all ready and they turn you away. Scheduling make up classes is a hassle. My child has been turned away twice now because of scheduling issues. Not something that a 5 year handles well.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired, the instructors are fine, but the other employees are rude.

Pool can be very cold.

I am looking else where and would recommend you avoid this place for swimming classes.

I signed up my son here and every single class was cancelled for the first month. They offered a reschedule token for each, but when I signed up I was clear that I was only here short term and I signed up for the only class I could make because of my schedule, so I couldn’t use the token. They did refund me for those two classes, but then the next week the class was cancelled again. I called and asked for a complete refund due to my situation, including the admin fee because I paid it and was not able to actually use the facility. I was denied the refund.

Very disappointed. I understand things happen, but to have every single class cancelled for a month is ridiculous. On top of that, each time they called to tell me the class was cancelled only 20 minutes before it started, so I was already on the way and lost money on gas and tolls.

We had our first trial class and our 2.5 year old LOVED it. Her teacher, Miss Hailey, was patient, loving, and simply amazing. My toddler couldn’t stop talking about swimming class and everyday she kept asking if we could go back. We enrolled her right away and have had such a wonderful experience. My daughter says Miss Hailey is her favorite teacher and in just two lessons seems to be learning so much! Excited to be part of the Swimtastic family and I recommend it to families in the area! They are very responsive online and quick to assist or answer any questions. I appreciate the different times and days available to enroll in swim too. As a working parent I have found it to be difficult to find activities during times that work best for us and this has been perfect!

The instructors are good so far though not consistent one class to another. Rescheduling is a pain, one must notify them way ahead to stop billing if discontinuing a class or be charged another month. The swimming area is a small lane. Nothing deeper than 4 1/2 ft. No jumping in. Other lanes are being used by lap swimmers. On cool days it’s not heated so children will be cold in there. Pretty high priced for what is offered. I asked to be billed through next month. They stopped the billing a month early. Granddaughter arrived to rude person who said she didn’t pay n had to leave. I have written confirmation we were scheduled. Last week was cancelled because of dirty pool. Not going back. The only good thing was the poor instructors who have zero info about students-?example asthma or health concerns. Terrible business and safety plan.

I love Swimtastic for my grandson. He started at 6 months old. It’s going on 2 months since he began and he loves it! He kicks his little feet and moves both arms. I love watching him with his instructor Rhaegan. She is awesome. Rhaegan is the best with him. She is gentle and patient. He’s getting very comfortable being in the pool with Rhaegan’s help! Thanks so much. It’s priceless ❤️

We scheduled a trial class but got sick. My husband rescheduled the trial for the next available class but we were still sick. When we tried to rescheduled again we were told we couldn’t and we’d need to pay for a $21 for a class plus the annual fee. Disappointing that they have chosen to stick to an out of touch policy rather than put children’s health first. We will look for swim classes somewhere that is family friendly. Swimtastic has clearly earned their poor reviews.

The instructors are amazing and for them I would happily give 5 stats. The experience with swimtastics has been very aggravating. TWICE the classes have been cancelled with absolutely no notification of any kind. No emails, no phone calls, no text. We show up with our 3 children on time ready after rushing from our jobs only to find out they once again cancelled. The money is taken out of our account for these classes that they cancel and instead of refunding our hard earned money they only offer make up days. So they take our money, they cancel classes but it's up to us to figure out another day that the kids can have their make up class. This is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Do better.

A courtesy is when the child is sick and they are able to have a make up day. That's a courtesy.
Cancelling classes with absolutely zero notice, refusing to refund the money that was already charged and making the parents figure out when to have a make up day is NOT a courtesy.
You're not doing us any favors. You got our money, and you didn't provide the service. This latest cancelation had nothing to do with the pool. You simply decided to not have classes this week without telling us about it. All my contact information is correct. At the very least take responsibility for your lack of professionalism.

We enrolled my 2 year old in classes. After 4 classes, it was determined by the instructors that she was ready for toddler lessons. I was told that the instructors will email the scheduling personnel to authorize the level. I called two days after we were told to call and schedule her for toddler classes, the scheduling personnel had no record of her being bumped up. A week later, I called again to schedule her toddler classes and they still have no record of the bump up. Seems to be a severe disconnect between the instructors and the people who schedule classes. After my daughter is done with the classes we paid for, we will be going to different lessons with another instructor. I do not recommend these people at all! Massive disconnect and lack of communication!

No structure, communication, organization, or any semblance of a structured program. After 2 lessons, my daughter was swimming on her own for a little distance, and was progressing nicely. Then an instructor change took place. She was then grouped with a first time swimmer. Instead of progressing, she was setback to day 1 lessons. Why, I can’t understand. Not to mention, the other boy didn’t know how to listen or follow directions. So because the instructor always has to constantly look back, our daughter doesn’t get the full attention and gets penalized because of it. So instead of progressing, she got pushed back. So I paid for lessons that were a complete waste of time and money. Already found a new program that is 1 on 1. There’s obviously no communication or organization to their program. They just group them conveniently for their program to accommodate their time. Her last 2 lessons were combined less effective and worthwhile than her first 2. Disgraceful. If you need a cheap program, beware. You will get a cheap poor quality program.

The reason i put 2 stars its because the water in the pool so cold. My son got sick already twice. We love to go for our swim lessons. Our teacher is wonderful. My son loves lessons. But the water is too cold. I heard many parents complain about it. I don't know why they keep it so cold. So, i put 2 stars for the water being cold. But 5 stars for our teacher and lessons.
