This place has been my home away from home for all my fitness needs. Got a 3 month membership, and its been all worth it. Plenty of equipment in excellent condition, a lot of thought went into the layout, very clean with cleaning stations everywhere, bathrooms very clean, great classes. They have a smoothie bar for those that are interested. I work out independently, so not sure about their personal trainers, but they do have them. Well done to the owners of this gem.

Small gym, it’s kept clean, a little pricy, my biggest issue was when trying to cancel the membership, they still kept charging even after they said they wouldn’t and are not doing anything to correct the issue…. Beware!

I've started attending frequently in the past 6 months. I've owned a membership for many years, and even though I wasn't using it for a long time, it was worth keeping.
The owners are very upbeat, positive and attentive.
The staff has a good sense of humor.
The place is cleanThe place is clean and it does not smell of sweat. The bathrooms are clean and they show attention to detail.
Most of the patrons, are pleasant most of the time
The weight machines are kept in good condition and represent a variety of exercises.
Their class teachers are varied inform and content; It's safe to say there's something for everyone!
My wife and I certainly plan on holding on to the memberships we've held for almost fifteen years.

This gym will continue to charge you AFTER you cancel. Make sure to stop payment if you cancel because even if they tell you you're account has been canceled they have still tried to charge me 3 separate times, when I called the management hung up on me twice.

Love this gym. The owners are always on site and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone is welcome here. I visit my family in North Vero Beach and this is their gym. The place is very clean, great equipment and offer exercise classes that are unbeatable. If you’re in the area and need a great gym this is the one for you!

Get your best workout at Sebastian Gym and Fitness! SG&F has the machines to work out every part of a human's physique. There are numerous exercise machines, and free weights also, and you will be able to find machines to develop any muscle group you would like to work on. There are many cardio machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, ski machines and a stair climbing machine, so I have never had to wait for one to become available.
The gym is very pleasant with large windows that let in the Florida sunshine and of course it's air conditioned in the summer heat. The gym members that work out are very friendly, and have even taken the time on occasion to provide pointers to help me out. The staff and owner are also very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, there is a disadvantage that can be a problem depending on one's schedule, that is the hours of operation on weekends. The gym closes at 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on other activities and commitments in one's schedule, this can make it difficult to arrange time for weekend work outs.

Small but mighty. I was on vacation to Florida and I decided to pay for a day pass. The lady at the front was very nice and helpful. They give towels for free (unheard of in NY.) They had daycare if you need it. It is a no nonsense gym. People are their for working out and not for glam. Loved it. Will be there again when I visit Florida.

Was looking for a good gym while I snowbird in Sebastian. This gym had good reviews so we went to check it out. We were greeted warmly by the young lady at the front desk, were given a very thorough tour and explanation of all that the membership included. We signed up immediately under their 4 month special which fit our needs perfectly. My wife absolutely loves the classes and I immediately met several people there that were helpful in explaining all the equipment. The owner greeted me one day and was helpful as well. From the staff to the patrons, it seems everybody takes pride in the cleanliness of the facility. This is an all ages gym with no attitudes and there is plenty of options on the exercise routine you wish to follow. My 9 am workouts have become a must in my day due to the number of people I have gotten to know in the first month I have been there. Chris and his staff are top notch and the atmosphere in the gym is a credit to good ownership.

Owner was extremely rude on the phone over a membership misunderstanding. I thought my financial information had been on file and would automatically charge my account when I swiped my membership card. He even had the nerve to call out where I’m from and use it to grill me. Guess he’d rather have me pay for a day pass than a Non-Commitment membership for the rest of the month.

We traveled in from Utah to visit our kids going to flight school in vero. We met the owner and he was awesome. The gym is super clean the staff is incredibly nice and everyone using the gym cleans equipment after each use. Everyone is respectful. We will most definitely be back to this gym every time we come to town to visit our kids. It is refreshing to see pride of ownership.

I initially started coming here in summer of 2021 and did not receive a copy of my contract prior to signing up and was unaware of the exit clause. I was also unaware of the auto renewal as I was previous told my membership was month to month when I asked about what type of membership I had when I called-in. When I tried canceling, I was told that I couldn’t after November. I asked Sonya about freezing my membership and she said they didn’t offer that, to later find out THAT THEY DO.

I'm pretty frustrated. Normally I wouldn't leave a review. Things happen...I get it, but I'm frustrated by the mixed messages and sometimes rude customer service.

I recently joined this club. Before I joined I asked Sonya if I could have someone show me the machines; because that is what I really wanted. But... she said that they (the owner??) don't really do that (summarizing) and instead I was encouraged to use a paid trainer instead. All I wanted was someone to introduce me to the machines.

I am on a crazy tight budget right now. Taking care of my mother and trying to keep my own business a float. But I paid for a training session who didn't do what I asked either, although she was very friendly. I just wanted someone to show me the machines. I mentioned it to the front desk. The club finally said that they would show me the machines.

Days later the owner took about 20 minutes to show me the machines and was extremely thorough and did a great job. Thank you!

Just went to website where it says: "We’ll give you a tour of our center and even show you how to safely and properly use different machines. We want to help you reach your goals" .....yet that was not the experience they showed from the beginning. It was kind of like an unintentional bate and switch...Now I feel like a sucker for spending $100 on the club and trainer.

I was originally so excited to be a member, but now it's just deflated.

It's not just the mixed messages about the intro to the club, it's also the attitude of the front desk. One minute Sonya's friendly then the next she's dismissive or randomly gives attitude for no obvious reason. Very unwelcoming experience.

This place is awesome! I visited a few gyms in the area and did not get the same feeling as when I entered this gym. We were in line waiting to discuss membership and the owner came over and talked to us! We talked a little about goals and opportunities and right then and there I knew this gym was for me. The place always has some people in it and the atmosphere is just right for a workout anytime!

I'm quite disappointed with sebastian gym they charge 18$ for a drop in fee I can only imagine how much they charge for the membership 😔 not only that but ALL the gym equipment is sooo out of date as much as they are charging for drop in fee and membership they should be able to afford new equipment. And they have such a small area all the gym equipment is crammed back to back 😒 there is no room yo breath. With and 18$ drop in fee I can go to anytime fitness for just 7$ drop in fee. I will never be going back there again!!!!

Great place it reminds me of the gym I was going to in Maryland. The staff is very nice. They always made me feel like it's right gym for me. The members seems ok. I don't know that many people. But people do say hi. And the woman in the morning that works behind the counter makes great smoothie 🙂. So all in all it's working for me.

I’ve been coming to this gym a little over 3 months now. I left my old gym to train here because I enjoy the cleanliness and the availability of equipment. The people here are amazing.
My children use their child care while I’m training and never want to leave. They love all the ladies in the kids room.
The staff here are wonderful, and so helpful.
The building is always so nice and clean.
I wish I could give it more stars ⭐️

I have been a member for three years at this family run gym. It is simply the best. Sonia greets me every morning with a welcoming smile. She is very helpful if ever you need anything. When I went to the gym this morning I had forgotten my membership card. I asked the receptionist Sonya to swipe me in. She was very displeased, signed me in anyway (with a look of discussed on her face)!!!
And treated me very disrespectfully! As I was walking away she keep glaring at me.
I took the class and as I was leaving I told the owner about the incident and he had NO intentions about doing anything about this situation!
He said, “there are about 50 people a day who forget their cards and we have to deal with that!
And those 50 people are customers!
Great response from the owner!
I said I wanted a refund and he said, “no, your not getting your money back”!
There are plenty of fitness centers around that treat their customers with respect and kindness.
You
will NOT find it at THIS FITNESS CENTER!!!
Oh yes, the owner also said, “I’m looking forward to your bad review!!! Well, now you got it!
The receptionist Sonya has had many complaints!
I would NEVER treat customers like she does! She has the don’t bother me attitude!
With that, I’m sure that fitness center won’t be in business long!

They really need to work on their customer service...I almost didn't join based on the superficial, super quick tour of the gym when I first went to inquire about the place. The young lady didn't seem to want to bother in showing me the various areas of the gym ( cardio,etc) let alone the individual machines. If I wasn't an experienced gym person, I wouldn't know where to start or which machines were used for what..Ask questions if you need to....the plusses?...Machines are clean and in great working order..members are friendly and more helpful than the staff...the cleanliness of the gym is very good...but beware you're more or less on your own here.. ( and what's with the FM receivers for the TVs?- all the other gyms I've ever belonged to the TVs were synced to the machines...but then again you could buy an FM receiver from the gym?..come on guys sync the machines with the TVs)

My issue is not with the friendly and pleasant staff. It is with a yoga instructor Saramaria. I was one of two males in a class of about 25 individuals, one of two males, the other a seasoned member and me an individual of 66 years. She singled me out as not doing it right, after I told her I had elbow surgery and back and knee problems. I am a novice but have been to enough yoga classes to know that most instructors know that you can do things at your own pace , and if not, you can choose not to force yourself. I told her I was ok with what pace I was working, but she insisted I was not doing it right. I saw plenty of people around me not doing things perfectly, but she insisted on zoning in on me. It was humiliating that she needed to go to this extreme as most instructors would recognize that each individual would try at their own pace. I informed her I had had elbow surgery but she continued to to force me to do things at her advanced pace. I am a beginner but I have been to enough classes to know that certain people have limitations and work at their own pace. I was putting in 100% effort and was sweating and she knew that. There was no need to pursue it further. I would be embarrassed to go to another of her classes due to her passive aggressive nature. She wouldn't have harassed another female and I am convinced that looking around that she needed to show her dominance so she chose a disabled male to do this with. They use a word, misogynistic for maies that dislike females, but I'm sure there's a word for females who don't like males. This is someone who couldn't care less to take me aside after class and talk to me but took the liberty of being a bully of front of the others. She wouldn't even give me the right time of day otherwise but in this case put the effort in to humiliate me. Shame on her and I still want to continue yoga only I want to do it with one of the other instructors. What a coward and hypocrite to her profession. She is the type that otherwise wouldn't even give me the time of day but had the urge to do it in front of everyone else. I wouldn't want to attend any of her future classes but I'm still interested in yoga because I know what it can do for you. I just wouldn't want her as an instructor that I can respect. What a phony to her students. I only hope that they saw right through her insincere smile.

This gym does not deserve one star. The owners and staff are rude, will not demonstrate how to use the equipment, and are not helpful. Staff sits around eating. They charge $5.00 for using a towel. There are 2 disinfectant bottles to be shared for the entire gym. Apparently cleanliness is not important to them. Bathrooms are NOT kept clean. Cancelled my membership.

My husband goes here regularly. I used to, as well. I really like it, I felt very comfortable here, everyone was quite friendly and helpful. I was trying very hard to lose weight. Eventually I lost all the weight I wanted..still think I might go back to the gym anyway. It has everything I could imagine a fitness center would need.

My husband and I have belonged to this gym for a year, and we both love it. He does circuit training and I do the body pump, kickboxing, and yoga classes. They also offer spin and Zuma and have a great schedule of classes to meet everybody's needs. The bathroom is clean. There is a daycare center for kids, and a great smoothie bar with a huge selection. The staff is very nice and helpful.
