I recently joined and i absolutely love it! Its been about 10 years or so since I've been in a crossfit gym and this place is the best. The owner has created an amazing culture and it shows from the coaches to the clients. I look forward to my workouts here and seeing everyone! I thoroughly enjoyed my drop in session at Seminole Heights CrossFit.
Coach Malia ensured that the drop in process was smooth and made me feel welcomed.
Coach Austin was great and gave me a tour of the Box and also went over every WOD movement in detail.

Iβm fully convinced this is Tampaβs best gym! CrossFit gyms can be intimidating & overwhelming, but this gym actually welcomes all levels of training & fitness. You will be pushed without being overwhelmed. Absolutely worth it!

This is the best gym that I have ever joined. I have very low motivation to work out on my own but I find myself coming back here time after time. I think that is because everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Not a single person will judge you for what you can or can't do. All of the workouts are challenging and there are always modifications available. Don't worry about numbers, just show up and you will see results.

Over the years I've joined a bunch of gyms and I usually stop going after a month or two. The SHAC is by far the best gym I've ever joined and loved! I've been going regularly for over 5 years now. Karen, but we all call her Coach Kk, has created a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. She kept us safe and motivated during Covid. She works hard to create wellness challenges that really get us involved and builds the connection with my gym mates. Coach Kk organizes events to support our neighborhood by doing local fundraising. She started an annual Turkey Trot event, organizes Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful clean ups, and so much more. It's a gym who's heart is the strength of all it's members. We work hard to support and encourage each other just like Coach Kk does for us. Come on down, you're welcome to join us!!

I am a member of a different gym that was not meeting my needs. So I went searching. I found this gym and a friend and myself joined. We both love it. I am so glad that I finally found a gym like this! Everyone is always super friendly and non-judgey. It gives off a very seminole heights vibe with a bunch of chill, cool members. I love the fact that they have a variety of classes like CrossFit style workouts and HIIT classes. There is definitely something for everyone, no matter what your fitness level is. I joined The SHAC after recovering from an injury weightlifting on my own and have been so grateful for the small class sizes and knowledgeable coaches who help so greatly with correct form! Iβm new to CrossFit and even through thereβs a lot of new terms to learn I never feel lost as someone is always willing to help and the videos in the app are super informative. The mix of cardio and weight lifting is also perfect for my needs.

There really is no better way to say it...The SHAC (SHCF) is truly just the best. My husband and I have been going to this gym for about 3 months now & it has been a great investment.
- The coaches: do a tremendous job in ensuring you are able to get the workout of the day done at your own pace, while being able to progress towards your goal, without hurting yourself. Always first-hand assistance with helping keep correct form & posture throughout the workout.
- The community: people that go here are nothing but supportive. It is a true judgement free zone, where negativity is not tolerated.
- The kitty-corner: is one of my personal favorites, just some sweet little animal faces to get you through that last rep. Sweet-Pea will always be there to greet you.
All in all, if you're looking to invest in your health, happiness & performance, The SHAC is a perfect place to start.

I love this gym! I let my older kids sometimes relax in the lounge when Iβm doing class on Saturday morning and I love the lunch hour classes which are perfectly timed to have a quick shower after and get back to your desk :-) especially for those of us who have a lot of WFH zoom life and need a little break. Upon attending my first week for free, each coach and members were approachable and kind. I signed up and enjoyed the options such as rowing classes and a class called Shac 40. That class routine programs includes body weight or dumbbells. I enjoy the various classes and options a person has and the times they are being offered.

Think group weightlifting classes with an emphasis on form and technique. Iβm an ocr athlete and I entrust my training to Coach KK. With her help Iβve come in 4th place in savage waves open division. I can jump higher, run faster and am all around more fit. The Shac is a great gym but itβs so much more than that.

I absolutely LOVE this gym!! I do the SHAC40 class at noon with KK and it never disappoints. I have seen an increase in muscle mass and endurance in a very short period of time. When I started going to the SHAC I had next to no experience with weightlifting and did strictly cardio when I worked out. Karen and my fellow gym mates made the SHAC such a welcoming, non-intimidating place to exercise and learn the ropes! I can't say enough good things about the SHAC. I've always been less than confident in my athletic abilities and honestly knew about the SHAC for at least a year before I decided to give it a try. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. This is by far the most welcoming gym I have ever been in; and the only co-ed gym I've ever felt totally comfortable in. The coaches are great at making sure you get the best workout you can as safely as possible. Whether that means giving you options to scale, or tips to improve your form for your next PR. The people who call this gym home are so encouraging as well. The SHAC is a wonderful community and I'm beyond grateful to have found a family with this crew. Come check it out, you won't regret it!

For the past 2 years I have committed myself to The SHAC (even drive from Odessa) because I LOVE this GYM!! Every workout is challenging myself, wanting to be better and love to see my improvements. The SHAC has been an amazing place for me to not only get a killer work-out in , but meet some super fun, supportive and inspiring people. Before the SHAC I stuck to more cardio and mobility exercises. I had wanted to explore weight training to compliment my other work outs, and when I tried by myself I knew I wasn't doing everything right and always had questions. It can be a super intimidating experience to join a gym when you've never really ever lifted before.
I checked out the SHAC after I moved to Seminole Heights, and even though I wasn't really sure what to expect workout wise, the reviews and facebook page let me know I was going to feel comfortable walking in with no experience. I can now confidently say that the SHAC is for everyone. I have never felt pressured or stressed in class, and when I'm trying a move I've never done before Karen is always right there, extremely patiently, walking me through it. Everyone is incredibly friendly and are genuinely happy to have new people in class. Everyone has their own pace and goals and my personal preferences are always respected while I'm still challenged to improve and try new things. While wanting to gain strength I personally don't want to be super ripped, I'm really loving the changes in my physique and how I feel after incorporating these workouts into my routine. Meanwhile lots other folks are going HAM, killin' it, and preparing for competitions. We all have a supportive energetic, awesome local place to reach our own goals.

Fantastic gym, fantastic coach, fantastic people! I can't say enough about this place! Karen (coach) is all about proper warm ups, good form and preventing injuries which is a big plus for me. I'm a beginner and she walks me through movements and lifts so I know exactly what to do, and makes sure I'm doing it correctly. I actually look forward to my daily workouts now!
