I recently hosted my child’s birthday party at Shinobi School, and it was, without a doubt, the most organized, engaging, and enjoyable party we’ve had in the past 7–10 years of planning these events. If you’re looking for a place for kids’ birthday parties in Tampa that is safe, exciting, and incredibly memorable, this is it!

From the moment we arrived, the owner’s energy and dedication were unmatched. He was so accommodating, memorizing all the children’s names and making each one feel special. The activities were thoughtfully planned and kept the kids engaged the entire time, while also giving them plenty of opportunities for exercise and confidence-building. Unlike larger venues where it’s easy to lose track of your kids, the studio’s perfect size meant I never felt overwhelmed or worried about anyone’s safety.

What truly stood out was how the party felt exclusive—we had the whole place to ourselves! This gave the parents a chance to relax and chat without constantly worrying about the kids. Watching the children laugh, play, and improve at the different activities was heartwarming, and I could tell they were having the time of their lives.

Shinobi School’s pricing for birthday parties was incredibly reasonable compared to other venues that charge exorbitant fees without offering the same level of care or organization. The owner’s gratitude and passion for hosting these events shined through, making the entire experience feel personal and special.

If you’re tired of cookie-cutter bounce houses and looking for a unique venue for a kids’ party or ninja-themed event, I can’t recommend Shinobi School enough. The kids had a blast, built confidence, and left with big smiles—and as a parent, I couldn’t be happier. We will absolutely be coming back for more events. Last month we did private horse back riding for my daughter and her friends. I thought it would be my favorite birthday but the staff was crass and rough around the edges and I felt I was trying to make them comfortable vice versa. And it shouldn’t have been like that for the money we dropped. Shinobi had so much more value and my kids laughed so much more at Shinobi. I don’t like to repeat venues but I would consider this venue again.

Tonight was my first time at Shinobi school, I signed a waiver and was imminently subject to an “intro”.

After a 30 min I was asked to pay a fee $35 dollars that I did not agree to upon being subjected to the “intro”.

It is not right to TRICK people into spending 30 minutes of “introduction” if you aren’t going to be up front about the cost before even walking past the front desk! THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME HERE and the only way to make this right is giving me a refund. Thanks for your understanding and consideration.

Our child has been taking private lessons with Shinobi Poli for several months. Shinobi is a gifted athlete, and a very gifted instructor. Our child isn't naturally attracted to physical activities, but Shinobi's enthusiasm, patience, and playfulness has motivated our child to persist when learning challenging skills.

Due to Shinobi's skills and love of what he does, our child feels more confident and is more capable.

Shinobi has uncertified, unqualified people teaching these overpriced, repetitive classes. He's barely at his own establishment and doesn't teach his own classes. Shinobi school is essentially a ninja themed daycare service which is fine unless you're actually looking to practice parkour or have your kids safely learning it.

Our family is loving the Shinobi School Little Ninja Classes. Although I wish classes were longer, our 4 year old and 7 year old have a blast the entire time. Coach Luis has the perfect disposition for children; firm but calm and fun. He mixes skill with games. The kids go from intense concentration, to laughter during games to cheering for their fellow Ninja as they attempt the warped walls. My kids never want to leave!! My boys are wild thrill seekers. It puts me at ease to know they are learning how to jump, land, roll, and defend in a safe setting so when they are hanging from trees or jumping from rock to rock they have the skills to fall without injury. We had my son’s 7th Birthday Party here yesterday.
EVERY SINGLE CHILD (ages 2-14), and parent, had such a great time! We cannot say enough positive things about this business! Shinobi (who is an actual American Ninja Warrior & Beastmaster- which is SO cool to the kids- and adults!) ran the party; he was energetic, fun, kind, patient, professional, knowledgeable and made sure to make each child feel special and have fun.
His assistant was incredibly kind, patient & helpful!!!!! (I am SO sorry that I forgot your name, but Thanks Girl!!!!)

I was a customer of Shinobi's in the past. My wife, several of my children, and I all took classes regularly with him. He is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most professional and friendly person that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. His gym has gone through several renovations and improvements since my time with him but I've heard absolutely nothing but good things from those that have legitimately attended his classes. The few bad things that I've heard were from people that had never worked with him and were, as it turned out, pure lies. If you are torn between attended a "real" gym, another parkour gym, a martial arts academy, or Shinobi School; go for Shinobi School. Hands down. I'd give more stars if I could.

Shinobi and his team are definitely doing something right with this place. I'm really not into traditional gyms, so I was weary of going into this place because of it being marketed as a gym. However, this establishment has exceeded my expectations in ways more than one. There's so many options for people of all ages, sizes, and degrees of ability which is really cool. They provide you with training from some very talented instructors who are just the friendliest bunch of people I've ever met. You really feel like you're part of a community here with the way everyone treats you here. I personally enjoyed their flexibility training and aerials classes, which helped remind me that my body can do awesome things even though I hate traditional workouts!

I must say, I didn't even think to look into a place like this. But when Shinobi was proudly sporting his Shinobi School t-shirt one day in a local hardware store, I couldn't help but ask what it was. I'm glad I did. It's amazing what you'll find when you're not looking.

My favorite class of life is Ultimate Tag, the best way to get your cardio in and have FUN! Shinobi School is an inclusive establishment that supports all athletic abilities. There are a variety of class options, camps, and workshops. I got to work with Shinobi School when I played Ariel in the New Tampa Players’ production of The Little Mermaid and I was hooked. Definitely worth a visit.

Took my five-year-old who loves to jump and climb on everything to the “open gym” not really sure what to expect. The staff was patient and respectful explaining everything to us and showing us the area. It had all the elements of ninja warrior and tons of parkour areas, plus a huge foam pit. I run a summer camp for ages 5 through 11 and our theme this week was ninja warrior. Shinobi school fit our lesson plan and expectation for our students perfectly. I was very impressed with the instructors and the patience they had with my students, especially because I have a huge range in age. Safety was their number one priority. They absolutely loved it!

The price is commensurate with similar summer camps in the area.

They do an excellent job teaching the basics and safety of parkour. They managed to find the fine line between exhausting the children and giving them opportunities for rest. They push them without overextension.

They offer multiple classes throughout the week and open gyms. The standard pricing is very affordable, if not underpriced. They also offer a family membership that cuts the class prices in half.

Love this place! It is huge, has tons to do, and the staff there are always looking to help. There are aerial rigs, parkour obstacles, dance classes, yoga, martial arts classes, and there are pop up classes all the time!
