This place is DEAD!!! All tore up and abandoned from hurricanes Helene and Milton. Trees uprooted everywhere and clubhouse is a disaster zone…tree debris all over the place. The entrance to the development has a gate shack that’s also abandoned and open. What’s being done to this place?

It's somewhat disturbing and sad that nobody provides updates on the future of this course. Nothing in the local news, on their Facebook page, or on their Google maps profile.
This is a great location for a golf course, and they did a pretty good job before the storms.

New short order cook, Cassi, is phenomenal. When she is not preparing food she is cleaning. She keeps the grill top clean in addition to cleaning the cooking utensils. Won't find burned food left over on the grill coming out stuck to your order. Food presentation is A+. Her desire to serve the best tasting food is first rate.

Course is a factory. Great price point for what you get. Greens were smooth and not slow. Just not rolling a 12. Has some funky holes but is pretty forgiving off the tee. Really enjoyed playing here. Great vibe. Tees are over-seeded right now in early march. Turf conditions were good. Rarely got a bad lie in the rough or fairway. You can’t expect TPC Sawgrass conditions when paying $28 twilight with a cart. Fun course check it out. Don’t let the bad reviews scare you away.

My first time at Silverado, the first hole was a swamp. We had 4 different tee times but they made us go into a foursome. The ranger told us we were moving too slow and needed to go faster. He then followed us to the next hole, looking at his watch and again told us we were going too slow. He then proceeded to lecture us on how slow we were and then showed us on a piece of paper how he timed us and we were too far behind. Thought it was amusing we were forced to sit there and listen to him talk to himself even though we were “going too slow.” I have never experienced anything like this before! I would never go there or recommend this place.

We booked 4 tee times for 2 golfers each. When we got to the first hole we were informed that we had to play in 4 somes. We told them that we had some first time golfers and felt we could go faster 2 at a time, but they refused to let us. So with beginners we were going slower. When we got to the 3rd hole we were approached by the ranger and he informed us we were going to slow according to some schedule he had and was very rude. We went to the next hole and played it and then he was at the following hole again telling us we were behind and if we didn't speed up we needed to leave. Told us that we could leave and get refunded our fee's so instead of being harrassed the rest of the round we left. Never have we been told to leave because of slow play. If some group comes up behind you typically you let them play thru. Never been told to leave. Won't be going there to golf ever again.

Course is maintained nicely. Not as hard to lose balls since a lot of hole/fairways are side by side going opposite directions. Greens are definitely slow compared to other local places, but in good condition. I do wish they were faster, hence the reason for 4 stars not 5. Was tough to adapt to slow greens today after playing fast greens the last few times I’ve golfed. Would return

Overbooked and was harrassed and stalked by the ranger. The ranger literally followed us telling us to move faster, my response was I'm not hitting into that group which was a group of 6.I have never been so harassed on a golf course . Starter said you can have coolers with water only which is what we had then telling us to put the coolers back in our vehicle. No water stations anywhere.

First Tee box area is a mess. First thing you see when pulling up to tee off. Pile of sand been there for months in touched. The area parallel to the first tee box by the water is unkept. Watch out for alligators. Golf carts are trash. Club house is outdated.

Very disappointed in the poor shape of yet another Pasco County golf course. Tees in poor shape, tee boxes not flat, fairways with a lot of crabgrass. The greens were in good shape though--except the cups are supposed to have foam in them so the ball doesn't drop all the way down. That's 1 of the requirements due to Covid & is the first course I've played in the region that didn't have it. They also, like other courses, are leaving old used pencils in the carts--something that's not very sanitary.

Had a 6:45 a.m. start and was told that there were 2 groups ahead of us even though we had the first tee time. Starter than proceeded to tell us he didn't have a line up sheet and that certain people are able to go first no matter what tee time they have. It is a shame to be treated like this when we golf here often.

The course was in good shape and the layout was reasonably challenging, overall fun course.
Problem - no indication as to pin placements - we had to guess all the time, and on one green the difference between front and back was 30 yards and we had no idea where the pin was - we guessed front and guessed wrong.

I thank all the staff at Silverado Golf and Country Club for the amazing service provided to my daughter's Sweet 16, Mrs Gale Fisher and her nightly staff were very professional attentive caring and very welcoming to all the guest. This layout features two of the dumbest holes of any championship layout in the Tampa Bay Area: #10 and #18.

#10 plays as a very long Par 4 from the back tees, but plays as a Par 3 from all other tees. That's right, there is a gap of roughly 250 yards between the back tees and the other tees.

#18 is a Par 5 with a water hazard splitting the fairway in what would normally be the landing area for tee shots. Even the yardage book describes this hole as one where you "lay up with your tee shot."

This is not creative golf course design, this is stupidity.

I see absolutely no reason why white, senior and ladies tees are not simply staggered in front of the back tees as a Par 4 on #10.

Meanwhile, who in their right mind wants to hit a "lay up" shot with their last drive of the day on a Par 5?

Honestly, #18 may be the worst finishing hole in the state of Florida for this reason alone. I've played 150 golf courses in this state and cannot remember anything this ridiculous to close out a round.

Move the tees up and make this a Par 4 with a forced carry, since you've basically asked players to lay up and do that anyway.

Beyond these two very dumb holes, the course is fine. Greens are not all easy to hit in regulation, but rolled nicely. Fairways were thin in many areas and a bit hard. Carts are gas powered with plenty of pickup.

Employees were casual and accommodating. Starter was still there for my 1pm tee time on a Monday and gave me the option of playing on my own or with others.

Grass is poor quality. Loud Gas carts! they ran the sprinklers while we were on the tee box and got us all wet! haha. One hole is in a neighborhood coldesac home lot. confusing course with horrible cart paths and limited signage. Sorry for the bad review but it's time to inject capital into this course, sell to someone who knows how to run a course properly or lower the price to an appropriate level. The people were very nice, that was the only good thing we could come up with when playing this course.
