I'm glad we have a place like Soar Athletics in our neighborhood! My 7- year old daughter has been coming here for a year and a half and she enjoys all of the classes she has been taking. She wants to take more and more classes here! All of the classes are small and taught by professional and experienced coaches.

registered for a class before work at like 6 am... changed my whole day around to get to it as its an hour from my job and a minor detour from the way home ... get there for the class and its canceled. the woman at the desk/the instructor says she called me at 1pm (after my lunch break , its a weekday , people work usually 9 to 5 its expected ) to cancel my 630 pm (after work ) class (which i ran from work got in the car and raced there for ) and " i should have checked my texts " . no apology, no offer to correct the situation. she literally said word for word " oh you got off work and had an hour drive and didnt check your texts ? " like what ??? . she said she could extend the period for which i could come and take the class but i no longer want to take anything there. i have limited time and cant afford to plan around things that arent reliable. i asked her why the class was cancelled because there was actually a class going on as all this was going on ... and she said because i was the only person who signed up and so she cancelled on me so she could teach a different class that had 2 advanced students instead of one beginner student. i feel very dissapointed with this experience as i was super excited to have found a studio with my interests not too far from my home area.

Soar Athletics is truly a place that feels like a second home. I have been training at Soar Athletics for about 6 years and every time you walk through the door, you are always greeted with smiles. No matter the prior experience, this place will truly not only help you gain strength, but also self-confidence. As a person who started with no upper body strength, I never thought that I would have the ability to do any type of aerial arts, I soon found out that I could do anything I put my mind too. Soar Athletics truly welcomes people of all experiences, from a person who has never touched an aerial apparatus, to a person who has trained all their life, Soar Athletics will feel like a second home to them. Coach McKenna has truly helped me discover a love for Lyra and I don’t think I will ever stop training. I have truly gained a passion in my life that I never want to give up. I can’t recommend this gym enough to everyone, Soar Athletics was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. 🫶

My 12 year old started here about 2 months ago with no prior athletic experience. She was discouraged after the first 2 classes because everyone was so talented however they were also so very encouraging. Now after 8 weeks (once a week) she has gained confidence and upper body strength. She is genuinely excited to attend and learn new tricks.

I can not say enough great things about Soar Athletics. My daughter has been attending classes there for about 2.5 years. The confidence she has now as well as the commitment she has shown is astounding. The coaches are all absolutely amazing. They are positive and encouraging to the girls. The camaraderie that exists between the girls is like no other. The girls have become the best of friends and they support and encourage each other like nothing I have ever seen. We are so thankful that we found this place. They truly have become a part of our extended family. She can not wait to go to her classes every week! If you are worried about your work schedule like I was, they offer so many classes it is easy to work around almost any schedule! Come by and check it out! You won’t be disappointed! It’s time to let your children Soar!

Classes were good with good instructors. Great communication when a class was cancelled and getting us moved to other classes to facilitate continuing practice.

The reason for the 2 star rating is outside of classes the business handling I experienced from Soar Athletics was poor and unacceptable. The last booking made with Soar Athletics, I paid for the 4 class packages for myself and my daughter. We were only able to attend one of the 4 classes. I tried calling, left voicemail, texted to see if they would be able to issue a refund for the sessions unattended. No one answered, called back or responded. I let it go. Now 5-6 months after we have stopped attending, my husband's card was charged the $50 annual membership fee for one of our accounts. There is no way on their account system for me to remove my husband's credit card information or cancel membership.

I immediately texted Denise about this who then returned my call and told me she could only refund $45, not the full $50 because of some fee with their automatic withdrawal services. I was extremely disappointed with their attempt to short me on a membership refund. I already let it go when we paid $160 last year to only attend one class for my daughter and I, with no one responding to me or addressing the partial refund request for the 6 unused classes that were prepaid for. I told Denise I expected the full $50 back. Denise then cancelled our memberships on her end, removed our credit card information and then confirmed with me we would receive the full $50 refund. No apologies or response was made to address the lack of response and lack of refund for the 4 class packages we paid for and were unable to fully use back in August 2022.

I had been recommending this place to others after my daughter and I quit, even with the lack of response and partial refund for the 4 class packages because my daughter and I had fun here with good memories. I don't feel comfortable recommending this place anymore.

Instead, I recommend that if you join this place and then end up canceling, do so in person to avoid the run around and ignored calls. I hope this place learns to do business better in the future because this otherwise would be a great place to take your kids.

So excited to hear that my 14yo special needs daughter is ready to move forward with 1 hour private lessons in less than a year. Denise has been amazing at building up my daughter's strength and confidence to do things her own body and brain fight against on a daily basis. Having a differently abled kid with Cerebral Palsy is hard... getting them into recommended "therapy" is never ending. When you can find someone with heart and the ability to coach someone who learns differently and slowly, it's truly a godsend. We are forever grateful we have one less therapy session, a great role model, and way more fun.

The owner Denise, along with all of the coaches are awesome!! the majority of their classes are targeted for children(except adult only classes of course), but I am 28 years old and joined the beginners Lyra class. Not only did I get a full body workout, like every muscle in my body! But it was SO MUCH FUN! We will definitely be back

I've known Denise for 25+ years and she's always been and continues to be such a class act and remarkable human being. She brings out the best in those around her for simply being herself. This then extends to her students. They are all bettering themselves just by being influenced and encouraged by her.

Soar Athletics is a one of a kind facility and program. The coaches are all positive, encouraging, disciplined, and motivated. My whole family loves this place and the people. Our 10 yr old daughter has been learning silks with the coaches for 2 years and last December I (34) joined in as well because it looked like so much fun. I recommend Soar Athletics to everyone I meet. Not only are you getting in shape, it's like being a kid again, just climbing and flying. This has become our second home with our second family. My son (3) asks everyday if we are going to silks because he just loves hanging out there, he's not even in a class. There is something for everyone, Aerial Yoga, Power fitness classes (with an amazing instructor) , Silks, Lyra, and Tumbling. If you or your kids have ever watched aerialists preform and wondered where did they learn that or that looks like so much fun you have to check this place out. We have nothing but good things to say about the coaches and the atmosphere. We won't even move our family from this area because we would miss coming here 3-4 times a week, that' how much we love Soar Athletics and BodyGenex.

I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience with Soar Athletics. My daughter is 10 and has been doing silks classes since December. She had also recently started trying the Lyra classes. Every instructor we have been in contact with has been wonderful! Denise the owner is absolutely fabulous!! My daughter is doing moves I never thought she would be able to do. One of my favorite parts of the week is coming and watching class. It truly is one big family. The word can’t is not part of the vocabulary and that’s a wonderful attitude to have! The studio is always super clean also! I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!

I honestly do not think 5 Stars is enough to explain how AMAZING Soar Athletics actually is. From the moment you walk in, to take your first class, you can feel the love that surrounds this wonderful establishment. Each coach makes it their personal goal to know each child/adult and make sure that that child/adult grows to their own potential, not a set standard. Denise (owner) is beyond a dream. Her passion for the art of the sport could not be more obvious.

YES! You and your child (boy or girl) will LOVE the classes offered at Soar. I have an 11yo boy and 9 yo girl that would literally live at the studio to take Silks 24-7, if possible.

There really are not enough words to express how amazing this studio is, but I will do my best. My daughter started at the studio about a year and a half ago with next to zero athletic ability and very limited flexibility. The coaches at this studio have completely molded her into a confident, athletic, muscular, and flexible young woman. I love that the classes are not just geared towards little girls. Anyone can fit in and feel welcomed like family here. I am entirely grateful that my daughter has strong professional women that pour everything they have into her to help her achieve her goals. We are truly blessed to have found this unique gym with coaches that have impressive performance resumes. They are constantly adding to their own skills and attending workshops to keep growing themselves. They pay special attention to the safety of the participants and keep the equipment clean and in good repair. I could go on, but Google probably has a character limit. Our family absolutely loves this place.
