I began my fitness journey with Coach Schneider in October of 2024 after having gone through several surgeries and hitting somewhat of a "Low point" both in physical ability and weight.

The first few sessions showed me that Coach Schneider was serious about his training but also mindful of a client's goals and needs. I was definitely a bit more careful when it came to initially training as I didn't want to have a recurrence on any previous injuries, but we had paced our workouts and I definitely felt that I was able to grow at a steady pace which left me fulfilled after every workout.

Over the course of the first 6 months, I was able to lose about 40 pounds and have now began focusing on gaining muscle and feeling not only accomplished but also proud of my body.

Throughout this time and training, I never felt overwhelmed or burdened with the training that it made me feel like I couldn't handle it anymore. The pacing was great, he is very mindful of what a client is looking for when it comes to training needs and he WILL push you to meet those goals (but at the same time he won't make the journey feel unpleasant or painful beyond the grind of recognizable muscle growth and weight loss).

It's definitely been a great journey that I plan to continue and if you're looking for someone to meet your needs and keep you motivated and comfortable while trying to fit into the body you desire, then Coach Schneider is the man for you.

DO IT YOU WONT REGRET IT!! Whatever reason it might be for you to look up “personal training” or “training” you had that in the back of your head for a while! I know this because I been there, in the same shoes thinking about the “what if.” Now I’m making those thoughts into actions. It’s only been a few months in, and it is THE BEST DECISION I EVER “FORCED” MYSELF TO MAKE.
I stopped giving myself excuses and SoFit makes it hard to give myself excuses when it’s all laid out in front of me. All you have to do is follow through. Excellent balance between pushing you past your limit and understanding and working with you to reach your goal. Schneider is very personable and makes the workout time go fast and makes it more fun. I came here initially with my mom after having spinal fusion surgery from my back and to lose weight. I've been here three months and not only have I lost over 20lbs. along with my mother losing 10lbs without intending too (she was just a support system) , to go from a year ago I couldn't walk to having Coach Kels rehabilitate me, make sure me and my mom are active outside of here and finallh be able to bench press after weeks and months of my back hurting, not wanting to get up because it was hard and have a coach that helped me see the progress through the pain, frusteration of not working my career due to limitations of my back and not being able to walk for thirty minutes just three months ago and my mom could only walk for thirty minutes with pain and sciatica . Three months later, no limitations and I'm walking for walking for over two hours plus no pain and my mom 1 hr and thirty minutes.

About three months ago, I began a search for personal training. A little about me: I am 48 years old and recovering from 2 knee surgeries in late 2023; ACL repair to the left knee and meniscectomy on my right knee. Additionally I also underwent 2 spine/ back surgeries in 2023. I had recently completed mandatory physical therapy, but just didn’t feel that it was enough. In my younger years I had always been physically active, playing multiple sports in school. My goals: to regain muscle, tone up, increase my strength, lose weight and just be more active overall. In my search I ran across SoFit personal training and was incredibly impressed by the excellent reviews. I completed a quick questionnaire and was contacted by Coach Kelsey. We set an in person meeting where we discussed my Fitness goals. I shared my exhaustive medical history with Coach Kelsey. From the very initial meeting, I took a special liking to Coach Kelsey. I found her extremely personable, relatable, thoughtful, kind, supportive and knowledgeable. She took time with me and I understood she was generally interested in me as a person, my fitness goals, and history. I left the meeting with an overwhelming sense of gratitude to have been paired with Kelsey as my Coach. Even after such a great meeting naturally, the self-doubt set in but as promised Coach Kelsey followed up with me the very next day. Her approach was encouraging not pushy and it truly was exactly what I needed to make the commitment to get in the gym! Fast-forward 3 months into my journey: I have gained so much confidence & strength, lost 12 pounds, knees are strong, back is stronger than ever. Physically I have never felt better. On a Personal note: I have gained an incredible affection for Kelsey she is a joy to train with, her smile is infectious, she is a friend for life and to boot… she reminds me of my daughter! The most fun I’ve had while training! My training was 2x a week for 3 months. Personally, training was simply to build consistency and improve my overall health (mental and physical). I worked with Sheineder to figure out my meal plan and learned about the importance of getting ample protein. I worked with Dave to figure out my fitness goals. I've really enjoy going to this gym and its something I look forward to every week. I used to think I was pushing myself when I worked out at the gym but I learned that I wasn't after starting training. My trainer Kelsie challenges me and even when it's over and I'm tired I've enjoyed the time spent working out because she makes it enjoyable.

I'm finally getting the hang of the calorie app and keeping everything updated and such. Working out seems to be the "easy" part, it's the keeping track and learning about what's better for me to eat that is the challenge. The food portion is helping me pick up on my bad habits, and that's something that's been helpful.

I am the type of person that struggles to stick to a consistent schedule. SoFit PT gave me a solid workout program that I actually feel accomplished doing and look forward to completing. The program I’m currently on consists of a balance between cardio and weights to lose fat and tone muscle and comes with a personalized nutrition plan. For me, the best part is that each workout is different so I don’t feel like I’m in a repetitive cycle, unlike programs I’ve been on in the past.
