One of the main reasons I’ve always loved SoulCycle is because of its message of inclusivity and community. I usually go to the Brickell location, which has always been an amazing experience. The staff there are welcoming, and I’ve always felt respected and valued.

Two weeks ago, however, I decided to try the Coral Gables studio since it’s closer to my home, and unfortunately, the experience was very different.

When I arrived at the front desk, the staff member asked for my name. I said: “Hi, Sadis.” Their immediate response was: “I’m sorry, I don’t speak Spanish.” I told them I wasn’t speaking Spanish, and they followed up with: “Sorry, you have a strong accent.” I had to repeat my name again, but by then I already felt singled out, embarrassed, and disrespected.

That interaction really stayed with me and made it impossible to enjoy the class. What should have been a positive and energizing morning instead turned into a negative experience that I was not expecting from SoulCycle.

Miami is one of the most diverse cities in the country, where many people speak English as their second language or have names that might sound unfamiliar. This should be welcomed, not treated as an inconvenience. For a brand that stands for community and inclusivity, this moment felt completely the opposite.

This may have seemed like a small comment to the staff member, but it had a big impact on me. Sadly, I will not be returning to the Coral Gables studio.

This morning I had a very disappointing experience with this gym. My class was scheduled for 9:30, and as someone who is always on time, I even called ahead when I couldn’t find parking nearby. The front desk assured me I had seven minutes to arrive, so I kept searching until I finally found a spot and paid for parking.

When I showed up, however, I was told I could not attend the class—despite what I had just been told on the phone. The staff kept repeating generic responses, like reading from a template email, without making any effort to offer me an option, a solution, or even to help with refunding the credit. In the end, I wasted over 30 minutes, paid for parking, and went through unnecessary stress.

Thanks to ClassPass, the credit was refunded, but I will not return to this location. A policy is one thing, but there should also be common sense and kindness when a client clearly makes the effort to be on time and communicates proactively. This kind of treatment does not make people feel welcome or valued.

I got there while the door was open. The front desk girl started to tell me that I need to do something and during those 15seconds they closed the door and didn’t let me in to the class. After driving for 40mins, I was there while the door was open and didn’t let me in. Really upset

It was my first time here took the class with instructor Rasheeda. Wow incredible her energy , her music , the intensity. She is so motivational and inspiring !! I love it so much what a great experience

First time at SoulCycle and have been really enjoying the classes here. Especially with Keenan and Lee, they are great! Studio is busy but definitely kept clean which I appreciate.

I come to the Gables location usually on weekends and once in a while on weekdays. Mainly I go to the Brickell location. I’m a ClassPass member and have never had a problem getting a bike switched when I arrived. I was prompted today with not being able to switch until four minutes before class. In both locations I assist this is the first time I’ve been prompted with this. I’m a regular ClassPass member that comes weekly. Upsetting to say the least and no explanation if their policies change. Rethinking coming to this location.

Went here yesterday with a friend and we absolutely loved the studio. All of the staff were so kind and ready to help get us set up. Our instructor was amazing and played really good music. First time at a cycling class and will definitely be back!

Although the class maybe a bit overwhelming and difficult for first timers, the staff at soulcycle is beyond helpful and so kind. They are very attentive and were able to help me when I was having a hard time setting up for class. Everyone there is awesome and I will definitely return!
