Working with & supporting those who are committed to improving their health and well-being is our innate passion. To help others build confidence in themselves by achieving the fitness or health goals they were not able to physically attain prior to training with us, is our Mission.

We have extensive experience working with all age-groups and types of Clients. Whether you are a performance athlete, have physical limitations, suffer from chronic pain, are an expectant mom or sport a “dad bod”. Our programs are customized to each Client’s very specific goals and physical needs, with Functional Training and Nutrition being big areas of focus in our work.

Looking for a GREAT personal trainer, have I got one for you. Garrick Clig is amazing. He is just not your standard, put you through a workout trainer. He actually watches your body movements, and adjusts the workout based on what your body is “doing”. There are times when I come in and I am just not “moving correctly”. Garrick will see this and stop the workout and do some extra stretching or warming up to ensure that the muscles move properly and the workout doesn’t cause any injuries.

I have been working with Garrick on and off for about 8 years. Every time I stop, I realized just how bad my body feels without his knowledge and kick myself in the butt for stopping, and go right back to him.

The most recent example of his amazing skills is this. I had a knee injury about 2 years ago where I literally didn’t trust putting my weight on the knee. I was unable to wear heels, go up and down stairs, or get on my tip toes. I had an MRI and was told that I needed to do PT to rehab the knee. I was going to a regular gym at the time and worked with a personal trainer there, but we really just did normal things. I worked out on my own, but never allowed myself to really put my knee through its paces. About 6 months ago, I decided to go back to Garrick. After discussing all the doc reports and how I felt, The FIRST thing he said we needed to do was to build up the muscles around the knee. I had to trust him and today I literally have no pain. I can do all the things I said previously I could not do.

Garrick KNOWS how the body moves, or should move and knows what to do to get your body moving as efficiently as possible.

I’m stronger than I have been in a long time and looking forward to getting even stronger!

Kat is absolutely incredible! I was fortunate enough to train with her, and let me say - trust the process! Making a change is hard, I thought I was doing ‘the right things’ and let me tell you I was wrong. However Kat and Garrick do not make you feel bad or guilty about anything. They are the most enthusiastic supporters for your change, but to also live your life enjoyably. I started working out with Katharina and Garrick after i suffered a tennis injury. Garricks expert knowledge in sports injuries has helped rehabilitate my arm and strengthen the muscles around it so that i can continue to play tennis. I love the one on one training. They ensure your body is always in proper alignment so that you don’t injure yourself and you are targeting the correct muscles to get the full benefit of the workout. They are honest and truly want you to succeed in your fitness goals. After 3 months of training twice a week I’ve gotten stronger and have improved my tennis game by a lot! TLDR: I highly recommend training with Garrick and Katharina. I've experienced significant improvements in my deadlift, bench press, and squat since working with them. Specifically, I appreciate their adaptable teaching styles, expertise in exercise and nutrition, patience, flexibility, and the various supplements they offer.

I started with Garrick and Katharina back in January 2022 when I was deadlifting 95lbs and now I’m up to a 315lb deadlift and 225lb bench press and squat. I’ve greatly enjoyed my time working out with Garrick and Katharina and highly recommend you give them a try.

They are very friendly and they adapt their teaching styles to your personality and your needs. If you like to goof around while exercising they will goof around with you and if you like to just exercise they’ll keep it straightforward for you. They are highly knowledgeable in exercise and nutrition and they can help you achieve your goals. I’ve had lower back pain for a long time and the stretches/exercises they have taught me have helped address it. I also have always had a hard time feeling my back muscles when working out my back but when I train back day with them I always feel it in my back.

Garrick and Katharina are also very easy going, patient, and flexible. If you’re running late its usually no problem or if your schedule changed last minute they are more than willing to do their best to accommodate you. They also do not monitor the clock and stop you at the precise second your session time is up. They ensure you are able to complete the prescribed workout even if that means it takes a little bit longer. And they are always very patient even after I keep forgetting how many repetitions I was supposed to do or if I forget what the proper form was supposed to be.

They also have a lot of supplements that you can buy when you come in for your workout. They have whey protein, vegan protein, pre workouts, and a bunch of other stuff.

Without a doubt, give Garrick and Katharina a try and I guarantee you will not regret placing your trust in them. Thank you Garrick and Katharina for all you’ve helped me accomplish.

I have been training with Garrick at Spear Leader Lifestyles since August of 2021. I sought out a personal coach because I have a fusion I my thoracic spine, and I wanted to make sure someone was there to support me in lifting safely with great form. I also knew I wanted a coach that was personable and would listen to my concerns and help coordinate the best route for me to achieve my goals. Garrick has done all of this and more! I could not be happier with my choice. The hours are perfect for me. There is understanding when life circumstances come up and I need to reschedule. The pricing was great for me because I knew I wanted to work on my health and get stronger, and I know that takes years. The longer the contract the less you pay at a time. Garrick is very experienced and the more you ask the more you will learn. So make sure you communicate! He teaches me new things all the time, not just about lifting weights but also about how our bodies work with how we lift, eat, sleep, stress, etc. The atmosphere at Spear Leader Lifestyles is fun, happy, caring, and supportive. If you are looking for a trainer/coach that is knowledgeable and who really cares about his client’s success, this is where you want to be. From the moment I first walked in for my assessment I felt like family. Well taken care of. I had rotator cuff issues and wanted to add lean muscle. Garrick first fixed my rotator problem, (something months of physical therapy couldn’t do), then helped me gain 20lbs of lean muscle and still adding. Kat is very knowledgeable in nutrition and guides their clients in proper eating habits and healthy meals. If you are looking for a smaller more personal training experience, this is the place for you.

In all my years trying out different gyms and personal trainers, this is by far the best experience I have had. I have been a member here for a little under a year now, but I have never felt so welcomed and motivated to reach my body goals. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted warmly by the staff. If you're looking for a trainer to help you meet your goals, Garrick is your guy. He is the most knowledgeable trainer I have met. He knows when to push you harder and when not. Garrick has been an amazing personal trainer for me. I started with him in March and lost 30lbs. He is so kind understanding and accommodating to your schedule.
