Over the last 20 years, Star Swim Club has earned a reputation as one of the most esteemed swim schools in Tampa Bay. This swim program is based on decades of professional and athletic experience. Our instructors--Ms. Olena and Mr. Igor--are accomplished athletes with college degrees in sports and physical education and over 30 years of swimming instruction experience.
We tailor our swim lessons to each student based on age and skill level. Our swim classes are interactive, safe, effective, and fun. Our indoor heated pool is ideal for swim lessons year-around. Both instructors always stay inside the pool with their students. Parents are invited to observe the comfort of our air-conditioned observation deck.

The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly care about helping kids build both skill and confidence in the water. My child always looked forward to each lesson and came away smiling every time. Olena was especially amazing: positive, attentive, and fun. Star swim club is absolutely AMAZING! Miss Olena & Mr Igor are a fantastic team! They push the students while understanding where they need remedial work which is the perfect balance (not a one size fits all approach). Communication is key with young children and they nail it! There are fun activities happening throughout each class which keeps the kids engaged and gives them the motivation to continue to learn and grow. The place is tucked away and not the most visible but you will not be disappointed with this hidden gem! Our 3 year old went from scared of the water to completely self sufficient! She calls herself a mermaid and she definitely proves it in the water! Up next, our son who is about 22 months will be headed to the pros!! Thanks so much Star Swim Club for empowering our children and teaching them water safety!
Update: We just finished my son's swim lessons which took him from attached to me in the pool to a completely competent shark in the water! We get so many parents asking how a 3 year old can swim from one end of the pool and back without floaties. The answer, Star Swim Club!!
One last huge thank you to Miss Olena and Mr Igor for being so amazing and loving to our kids. We cannot thank you two enough!!

Miss Olena & Mr Igor they are super nice,kind,lovely and kids love them.
They really can teach swimming perfectly and make kids to love pools and swim.
My son loves them and after 6 months he learned how to swim,his only 3 years old.
They are amazing.

Olena and Igor are amazing instructors and have a magical touch. My daughter can be timid around new adults but loved it from her first lesson. Their method is unlike any I’ve seen and can’t be rivaled. My youngest two were able to swim 25 yards by themselves BEFORE they were 3! 100% worth the drive from South / Port Tampa

My kids' favorite swim instructors - and we tried many! My daughters learned to swim with Star Swim Club and are now accomplished teen swimmers. Igor and Olena make it fun but they teach real technique, and their background and education in athletics is evident. I have the utmost respect and trust for them - and I am a Master's Coach and swimmer myself.

I love how they teach the kids all the correct swimming postures so effortlessly. My kids are 7 and 4 and this is our 4th lesson.. my older child already knew how to swim and now totally has better posture and knows some better techniques.. my 4 year old is swimming short distances, head under water, floating on her back with assistance.. amazing! These guys are fair priced, they give you a full 30 mins sometimes more, and they flow through the lesson with minimal idle time for each child. Can't say enough good things about them.

My twins have been taking lessons with Igor and Olena at Star Swim for a year now and they love it so much! They very quickly went from hating the water to LOVING it. (The swim instructors are great at handling kids when they cry- most do for the first few lessons). We started with the basics and then moved on to arm strokes and diving for toys. The classes are so fun, incorporating songs and bubbles, all while learning to swim! They dive for toys and then count them, talk about colors, etc- educational and fun! I can’t say enough great things about Star Swim Club!

Simply fantastic! Both of my sons (ages 3 and 5) have previously taken lessons at another Tampa swim school, but after several close friends kept telling me about how much they love Star Swim Club, we decided to make the switch, and we couldn't be happier!
