Carlos was my personal trainer at the gym I belonged to and then I followed him when he opened up his own practice. He is an expert in his field! He’s great at creating individualized fitness programs for your needs and his encouragement is genuine. He continuously pushes me and has shown me that I can do things I never thought I could do. Carlos is one of the best performance coaches I have ever worked with! Like most, I still love to play sports and be active but I’ve had plenty of injuries in my life (broken bones, ACL repair, etc.). Carlos’ was great at adapting workouts to my strengths and weaknesses. I've been a client of Tactical Training Tampa for a couple of years now...and it's been a great journey so far! From the first meeting when Carlos spent time just getting to know me and understanding my fitness goals, he was able to motivate me and push me to go further every session thereafter. He has a lot of patience because I ask a lot of questions. When I think I can't do another push up, lunge, sit up, - his motivation gets you over any self-doubt you might have and he re-energizes you to keep going until you cross the proverbial finish line. He pushes you to become a better version of yourself.

I’m a long time client (7+ years) with Tactical training. My daughter 14 years old Vollayball athlete trains with Carlos as well and I can’t say enough of how amazing and efficient his workouts and routines are. They are unique from any other place, it triggers the right spots and you will notice muscle, you didn’t even know were there in a short amount of time. When I fracture my foot and was wearing a cast for 4months, Carlos managed to help me stay fit, strong and focus. Accommodating the workouts to my needs and improving my recovery time. Carlos has, quite literally, changed my life for the better. I used to work out on my own and was having increasing back pain and repeated sports injuries. When I first saw him he took the time to carefully evaluate and study my movements and he was able to determine the root cause of my challenges. He was then able to break down the functional movements that I could not do into individual parts that, over time, I've been able to put together into more fluid movements. Since working with Carlos, I've stopped having back spasms every time I had a small injury and no more tennis injuries (despite playing a more intense game now). He is patient, observant and thoughtful and puts together personalized routines that lead to success. You just have to put in the effort; he'll do the rest.

​When I started working out with Carlos I was the heaviest I have ever been. I enjoy my time on a mountain biking but it was hard to go knowing my back and legs were going to hurt for days all because of the extra weight. I found it difficult to do the things I wanted to do on the bike safely so I knew something had to change! Carlos created a plan to not only help me lose over 30lbs but to also work on my balance, core strength and flexibility. I feel so much better on and off the bike and I owe it to his plan. Carlos has kept me motivated and on track to reach my goals!
