Zero stars. Rude in handling of your child. No one on one coaching or care as the class size is 10+ per coach. Inexperienced teenage coaches. Pack the classes so full that the kids can’t move. Watch the kids behind glass in a small noisy room. No parking as they pack they place to max capacity. Horrible, but the only place in town. All that and overpriced.

As a former gymnast here I can say they do a pretty good job but they are also very strict and can sometimes make you child lose motivation to do the skill they are working on if you do go here I would like you to teach them the confidence to speak up or stand up for themselves

This is an open letter to the owners. I don’t even know who you are because you are never there. Or at least not when I’m there. Never have I seen you or greeted you. As a business owner one would think that you would care more about the people you serve. Your patrons. Today I showed up to class only to discover that you’re building is closed because of construction. A little mass email would be sufficient to let your patrons (you know the people who pay to be your customers) to let us know of such things. I just sent a screen shot of the last email sent to me from your TBT address and it says on there “classes start June 3rd”.
The way you conduct business is very trial and error. Very reactive instead of proactive. It speaks volumes about how much you care about your customer with the amount of negligence in which you conduct yourselves. The lack of communication is just infuriating. I just wasted my whole morning all because you can’t be bothered to send one little email. Here’s a hint. JUST DO IT!!! I don’t care if you have to send 20 emails to remind parents that there won’t be classes on certain days. JUST DO IT. You are lucky that you have great instructors that work wonders with our children otherwise I would have already taken my business elsewhere a long time ago. You really need to reconsider how you do business. The way you keep pissing people off you won’t be in business for long.

The women behind the desk are EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I had addressed them with questions on several occasions only to be spoken to with condescension and sarcasm. My children took gymnastics there for 8 months and barely learned anything. Neither of them could do a cartwheel after all that time and all that money. It is not for their lack of ability. I pulled them from TBT and put them in LaFluers Gymnastics and after 6 weeks, both can do a cartwheel and many other new tricks.
There are much better gymnastic clubs in the area to choose from, this place is a waste of time and money.

This place was recommended to me and I was excited to sign my daughter up, I called on Wednesday spoke to a nice lady named Evelyn and she let me know of a class that might have placement but I had to wait and if I did not get a call to call Thursday so I did. Wow!! First explain to the lady mind I say very sharp lady and she told me that I could have not talk to this woman and then come to find out I did and I was told the person took the class and I wanted to find another spot. This lady Lori Jeegee (office Manger) was so rude to me that I could not even get out of my mouth what I wanted or looking for in a class. Then she just grew even more rude, so I ask to speak with someone else and she refuse to allow me because no one was there. I ask about the people that owner the building she told me that I could go onto the website and get their contact info. So I ask she was not going to give me this she said no you can go online for it very rude and I just did not get it because if you are a trusted office manager, I would think they would be in trusting in you to be respectful to their guest. This would be our first time at this place and WOW Lori you really showed how Tampabay Turners treats new people that no nothing about your classes and as a office manager it would be in your job description to let me know that.. I did email the owners, if it ever gets to them to call me back, I am pretty sure Lori will block that. Please I can't tell you not to go here because one apple does not tell the story of the whole tree but I would say do t get Lori say can't be a bit or very rude if you do t know what they offer..

My children have been at Tampa Bay Turners for over 3 years now. My two oldest started swimming at 6 months and are now taking swim lessons and gymnastics classes. The staff is incredible and always make sure each and every child succeeds. From the staff at the front desk to the staff in the swimming department and gymnastics department, TBT knows how to run a business and a top notch program. I travel over 45 minutes to get to Tampa Bay Turners since they are the best program in the Bay area. If you are looking for a great program with a friendly and professional staff then Tampa Bay Turners is the place for you.

Both swim coaches, Ali and Perry, are AMAZING and SO good with kids. I HIGHLY recommend them! My boys LOVE them. However, several of the staff at the front desk are so often rude, standoffish, and unfriendly; they make you feel as though you are bothering them. If it were not for Ali and Perry we would not have stuck around.

Swim Coaches are awesome! We have had Coach Perry and Coach Sara and both are great with my three year old.
The administration and registration process is a challenge - every month we go through the same issues with not being able to get the class time we want, have to go on a waiting list, and then eventually we usually get the time we want. Everything is still on paper and manual, including the payment process where they only accept checks. Would love to see them get some technology and be able to handle on-line registration and payments. Communication is also a challenge as you never have a live person answer the phone - you always have to leave a message and hope someone calls you back.
We continue to go there because we like the swim coaches, but it is frustrating to have to re-enroll every month.

We've been taking our daughter to the Parent & Me swim class for the past 8 months (since she was 6 months old), and we love it! Our daughter loves getting in the pool, and Coach Perry has done a great job at helping build her confidence in the water in a safe way. We would highly recommend TBT to other parents looking for swim classes for their little ones.

We joined TBT in December 2012 and we've LOVED it ever since. We drive all the way from Lutz and it's all worth it. The staff and coaches are AWESOME!!! My daughter loves all the gymnastics coaches and they continue to teach and challenge her everyday. My only regret is that we didn't come to this gym soon enough. We are so glad to be part of the TBT family.

We have been with TBT since 2008. After trying out another local gymnastics facility for a month, we went right back to TBT. They focus on safety, proper technique, and mastering skills before moving on. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and understanding. We have done the Tiny Tumblers a few times and my girls were always begging to go back! We have also just begun the swim program for our youngest and are extremely impressed. They have very small class sizes and the instructors are fantastic and PATIENT with kids! We will be with TBT for many years to come!

My family has been coming to Tampabay Turners for the past 6 years, My daughters starting taking gymnastic lessons when they were 2 years old. The coaching staff is knowledgeable and great with the kids. We have since joined the competitive team and the girls are excited to come to practice and perfect their skills. The desk staff is warm and friendly and willing to assist you with any questions. We have been to birthday parties here as well and the kids have a great time playing in the gym and swimming in the pool. We also frequent their summer camps and my girls love spending their summer at the gym! I would reccommend this gym to anyone and have on numerouse occassions.
