The people at Temple Builders are nice and helpful and the gym has a pretty nice small pool but the place is in need of some renovations. The steam room has not worked for about a year or more. The floors in the men's locker room are partly bare and partly painted. There is a broke bench in one of the changing stalls on the men's side that has been that way for months even though I told them about it. Instead of fixing it they put a sign on it that said do not sit on the bench. The gym just needs some TLC and upgrades in facilities.

This place has a indoor pool, showers, changing rooms, hot tub, sauna, weights and exercise equipment and they just started a massage therepist there 3 days a week along with a personal trainer if you need them. It is a hidden gem on the Westside of Jacksonville.

Temple builders has been a blessing to
my body. At 60 years old I have difficulty walking due to a left issue. Temple Builders offers FREE water aerobics classes to help individuals who are challenged walking on the treadmill or who struggle with knee rotation.

The staff is nice and helpful and there are enough personal trainers that can be tailored to your specific personality and strength level. No need to worry there is something for every fitness level.

The staff was very nice, covid guidelines followed, however the showers are dated and missing handles, 😳 locker room was clean but also needs some updates. Overall nice place but a bit overpriced for membership.

Very disappointed signed up for one year membership. On my first v visit I went in and found no staff available to check me in. So I ventured inside to see if I can find the staff. As I get ready to leave I am met by bewildered Marcus who informed me I need to be wearing a mask.
I went out to my truck found one came back in and then. Markers proceeded to lecture me about how I should have not entered without getting a temperature check. I then instructed Marcus if he had been there this would not have been an issue he simply stated he was checking the parking lot. I've now signed up for a full membership at planet fitness right down the road and will now be disputing my credit card with Temple fitness.

Brand new equipment, aways clean. Just wished they would enforce people to not slam weights, scream to motivate theirselves, and to let people work in between sets. I know people have been upset because of the religious ownership of the building but as far as the facility. It's nice and kept up. The staff is very nice and always polite.

Love this gym! All the staff are pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable . Enjoy using the pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna the most. This facility has everything your corporate chain facilities have with out all the hype and huge crowds for a fraction of the cost. It has a cardio room with plenty of machines, free weights area, weight machine area, cardio classes, spin classes, pool, sauna, steamroom it's awesome! I love this gym! Never join a different one.
