I barely ever write reviews but my experience training with coach Cooper at Symmetry Fitness deserves all the high praise it can get. What’s great is that you can go in there no matter what shape you’re in, no matter how much energy you have to give, and coach Cooper will seamlessly bring you into the fold so that you can get a great workout and not feel bad about whatever pace you’re at. It’s a comfortable, no judgement zone. Also coach creates thoughtful new workouts every day that make you look forward to what you’re going to get into (which helps when it’s hard to get out of bed in the morning). As much as I enjoy the small classes, it’s a gem of a place that people deserve to discover. Check them out!

I started at this gym Pre-COVID, and returned after vaccination with a 4-5 day a week commitment for the past year. This is a great overall fitness program, and its helped lower my blood pressure and minimized my lower back problems. You also won't be doing extreme exercises that end up triggering injuries and setting you back. I feel great!

This gym has made a huge impact on my life. I feel physically and mentally healthier after joining Symmetry. It makes working out feel approachable. The workouts are challenging but sustainable for long term health goals. In the past the gym would make me feel burnt out, but I am genuinely excited to go the gym each day and see what workouts are in store. Throughout the week different groups of muscles are targeted so if you stay consistent, you will see results. I cannot recommend highly enough!!

One of the best fitness studios in all of Tampa. This is a place that not only gives you a great workout and offer reasonable prices, but they also treat you like family. They are willing to help you at anytime and will allow you to target the things you are struggling with. With myself being a former Division 1 soccer player, workouts at Symmetry Studio Fitness have surely been challenging but has been a place for me to stay in shape and maintain a good fitness level.

Ken is an absolutely fantastic trainer and I couldn’t recommend him enough! I do not like working out and Ken always comes in with a great attitude, helps you get correct form, offers advice on any health questions, and always switches up workouts so you don’t get bored doing the same thing and you get a better and well rounded workout. He creates challenging schedules that target every muscle group and I’ve seen the results his classes can give both in tone and feeling of health. The gym provides everything you need and offers different kinds of classes and times. He’s not only a great trainer/health guide but is a joy to be around!

Ken and Holly are certainly knowledgeable and meet all the requirements of good instructors. They are unique in that they focus on each members overall well-being. They monitor your progress and inquire about your nutrition, sleep and stress levels. Ken even took the time to help me with my injured shoulder after class. He simply stated “ I want all my members to be healthy.” Ken and Holly run their business under that mentality.

I've been taking the semi private classes (small group/high intensity) for a few months now and I've enjoyed everything about them. The classes are small enough to allow for individualized attention and flexible enough to challenge you on your personal fitness level. Cooper, the owner and trainer, is very knowledgeable and encouraging with a positive attitude. Symmetry Studio is impeccably clean and has all the equipment needed for an amazing workout. Coach Cooper is very serious about helping his clients be the best. He studies his craft, he gears the workouts for individual success. He helps his clients work towards independence. He is soft spoken yet deeply aware of his clients wellbeing. He gets the best out of his clients because he helps us believe we can do it. He believes in continuing education. This is a fantastic little gym in Seminole Heights where the owners make you feel like family. I love the personalized attention I receive from the coaches there. It is super clean, nice equipment, big open space, and they also offer group classes both online and in person. I recently had a Bellydance/Zumba Bash and the energy was simply amazing, all the ladies I invited totally enjoyed themselves, it was an electrifying work out it was none stop fun and excitement I would do it again in a heart beat.

I’ve had such a wonderful experience doing the group fitness classes! The cost is just right and the classes start as early as 5:30am, but there are also sessions at 6:30am and 7:30am and then personal training opportunities after that. This is a local gem and I would highly recommend it to anyone at all levels looking to get fit. They’re small classes so it’s almost like having a personal trainer.

Great trainers, great space, and very affordable if you’re just getting into fitness. Mr. Cooper and Holly are extremely nice and approachable, and took all of my fear away about getting back in shape (I’m a bit shy).
Besides the usual classes included in a membership, they also have weights and cardio machines, so the location also can be used gym.

While this beautiful facility has up-to-date equipment, what sets it apart from others for me is the personalized attention and the push I get when I feel unmotivated. Cooper and Hollie offer the perfect blend of fitness/health knowledge, drive and motivation. They offer “tough” love when needed and have me work out at an endurance level that’s right for me. Their mission to embody and teach the value of a well balanced lifestyle with exercise, diet and rest shines clearly to me. And another big plus is that I can partake in belly dance classes which I’ve grown to love with a knowledgeable instructor as well as special workshops offering like salsa, Zumba and yoga.
