I attended a fashion show with dinner at the club. The food was delicious, and the staff was great. I did valet my car and the staff there were friendly and efficient. The bathrooms were sparkly clean. The facility is a little worn but the positives definitely outweighs that small issue.

First round is intimidating because there is water everywhere with lots of slopes towards the edges of the fairway. We played 6 rounds and once we figured out our lines and clubs we settled in to some very enjoyable golf. The staff at the course are amazing - from the front desk check-in, to the cart people, the starters and marshals - and the clubhouse serving staff were Fabulous!!

Wow! What a beautiful and unique golf course! The layout is both scenic and challenging, making for a truly enjoyable round. The staff were polite, and the club house was very nice. We were lucky to have a Hot Deal today, and it was absolutely worth it. The only thing that would make it even better is having GPS on the carts. Regardless, we’ll definitely be back to play again!

Went out to the driving range and have golfed at this facility a few times. This place has some of the most rude workers and overpriced golf I have ever seen for a So-called “ Private” Course, the conditions of this course are extremely underwhelming.

Overall fun layout. Fairways and greens were in decent shape but the tee boxes needed work. Some tee boxes were more dirt than grass. Also, the fact that range balls aren’t included in a $150 round is kind of absurd. The 4.5 stars is definitely misleading. I will stick to Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch.

We had our only daughter's wedding in November 2024 at their venue. We chose this venue because of the beautiful grounds and the possibility of having the ceremony indoors if the weather did not permit outside. My daughter had her heart on an outdoor wedding. The temps were a bit cool, 67 degrees, sunny with a slight breeze. We had about 100 guests, and many more live streaming the ceremony on Zoom nationwide. We met the event coordinator, Debra on 2 separate occasions before booking wedding. I am going to stress that you should read contract carefully. Verbally we were told on 3 occasions by Debra that the plated dinner was billed by consumption. This was not the case in the final guest count who attended. We had 12 no shows who had RSVP'd, but did not attend dinner. We were told that those meals were sent to go; we did not receive any meals amongst any family/guests. The bride and her dad signed the contract thus I do not have a copy to verify info. Be forewarned, underestimate your meal count or you will pay for any no shows with no compensation.

Our disappointment began the day before the wedding when we arrived to decorate and later that evening had our wedding rehearsal where the ceremony would take place outdoors. We let Debra know ahead of time that rehearsal would be at 5:30 pm on Fri so that our out of town groomsmen could be present to participate. It was important to synchronize the music to the bridal party, bride, groom, and family walking the path to the podium. The audio/video team were there to practice this event. It did not happen though! Eaglebrooke booked another SPCA event during our time in the exact spot we were to practice. They played loud music and were there for our hour rehearsal time. With no proper rehearsal, we had synchronize issues to the music and the bride walking down the path. Yes, it's all on video. The audio team could not see to the pathway when the bride started her walk down the "aisle" thus her music didn't sync.

We were assured that golf balls were not going to be hit in the ceremony's direction and golf carts would be stopped for a half hour out of video site during ceremony. Neither of these took place. The groom reported hearing a golf ball hit the concrete walk just below where he and the bridal party were sitting maybe 6-8 ft downslope. Safety protocols were severely lacking. Our video/audio & attending guests seen many golf carts passing directly behind ceremony and officiant. It was obvious the golfers in the shared space had priority above our paid event putting our guests at risk! THIS IS INEXCUSABLE.

Other verbal promises never transpired such as snacks in room for getting ready, removing the tv from dining room prior to DJ setup, dropping cake and desserts off in the kitchen to keep chilled, the meals sent to go, etc...

The appetizers ran out before half the guests got anything. I don't know if they put them all out at once, and the 1st half thought it would be replenished or if they shorted the appetizers we paid for cocktail hour.

Our decorators, Marilyn's Linens, we hired outside the venue however were awesome to work with. They happily replaced a wobbly worn table they were planning to set the wedding cake and desserts' on. We noticed it was missing a bolt underneath and was not stable for the tiered wedding cake. The wedding cake was on the table to cut by bride & groom for photo, then the staff removed to kitchen to cut slices. Not sure why? Thought it would be cut & plated in dining room with guests. Also, there was no left over cake except for small topper for bride/groom to take home. Shockingly, the bride and groom did not get a slice of their wedding cake at their table. The groom ate his best man's cake since he didn't want any, but the bride didn't get any slice of cake at her own wedding!

Overall, the wedding day was a memorable occasion. I cannot honestly recommend Eaglebrooke due to our experience though. There was no proper rehearsal; double booked space, the golf ball/carts in our view during ceremony, and the consumption lie was too much.

Great for golfers, not for weddings.

Beautiful grounds and facilities, but would never use again, here is why:

Met with Deborah to discuss details and reserve for wedding venue. Numerous things she told us (3 witnesses) were incorrect and/or deceptive.

The outside area planned for the wedding was supposed to be made available for rehearsal. Well, on the planned rehearsal time, there were 2 other events taking place in the same spot, so rehearsal was only verbal.

When the bride was walking down the path, Deborah and a helper tried to place a runner over the path, but couldn’t because it was a little windy, so they just left it jumbled in the middle of the path posing a tripping hazard. Even the photographer commented on the hazard and he had to adjust his photos to not get it in the photos, so no full length photos of her walk. Runner should have been placed and weighted down earlier, not when the bride is starting her walk.

We were told that the golfers would be directed away from the wedding area during the wedding. Again, didn’t happen, there were numerous golfers driving and walking directly behind bride/groom and one golf ball hit close to the gathering. The sound / music person was told to keep the music down (bridal party walk) because it may disturb the golfers.

As far as the meal charges for number of guests, she repeatedly said we would be charged on actual consumption, not on estimated number of guests. I was surprised at this so I had asked to confirm it, and she did, in front of 3 people. After the wedding, she denied telling us that, and said that extra meals were typically boxed up and made available,… well, that isn’t true/didn't happen either. My fault for not going through the contract in detail, I had thought that I could trust what Deborah said in front of witnesses.

Supposed to have appetizers during happy hour before meal. Even though there were less guests than expected, the appetizers were inadequate. The wedding cake not served as promised, then the lower layers of cake just “disappeared”(?). I could go on and on, but I think you get the message.

Deborah was very polite and courteous while trying to get your business, but when there is an issue, then she immediately goes on the defensive and gets aggressive.

For a venue that is supposed to be experienced with weddings, it certainly did not seem like it. The lack of coordination and communication would be typical of a very inexperienced crew, not a professional establishment. It was completely obvious starting with the planned rehearsal that their main focus was the golfers and other events (dog meet and greet?) and not for the wedding party.

So if you want to play golf, sure, go for it. But if you want to plan your wedding there, you know, one of the most important days in her life for the bride, … in that case, but know that you will not be as important to them as to the casual golfers and dog owners that are there.

We played here a week after storm Milton and the course was in excellent condition. The course came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint . Ryan and the pro shop staff were very helpful in changing our original tee dates and fitted us in on an alternative day . Plenty of holes with water that can penalise a poor shot , but a very fair and enjoyable course .

(12/11/22) The course itself is really nice except for the sand bunkers need to be raked more and some of the greens were rough with patches of missing or brown grass. (6/11/23) The customer service received in the proshop is severely lacking. I stood at the proshop counter for more than 20 minutes waiting for someone to help. The person working the proshop was busy standing behind the bar talking to people instead of doing his job. Once he was finally done talking and ignoring his job duties and the paying customers, I was informed that I couldn't use the driving range because it closes at 4pm on Sundays so that they can cut the grass on Monday. One would think that this information would be listed on their website but it is not, therefore I just drove 30 minutes from north lakeland to spend 20+ minutes waiting to be turned away. Thanks for wasting my time.

We recently chose The Club at Eaglebrook for a company event where 150 people attended. We used one of their sprawlingly beautiful banquet rooms that backs up to the well groomed, sparkling golf course. When we arrived the room was already set up as requested (other venues we have used (15 total around the US/Mexico/USVI)) and this was the first venue where it was ALL done by the time we arrived to set up additionally for our event. The banquet director was incredibly attentive and her staff were wonderful. The podium, microphones, linens, food, appearance, everything, was absolutely wonderful. This is by far our best experience with a banquet room/director out of the US we have tried. We really just cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. Our guests were impressed as well as our company. Very well done The Club at Eaglebrook, you should be incredibly proud of the experience you provide each and every guest that walks through your doors. Thank you!!!

I totally forgot to post a review but we used this place for our wedding day back in 2012. We held both, reception and ceremony here. The food was amazing, the place is beautiful for pictures and guest and we had over 200+ guest so we wanted to make ir comfortable for everyone to be at one place - one stop shot. Beth premmier took care of us. I don’t remember if she still here. We had an amazing time and a beautiful wedding. Not sure about prices now 2023 but back in 2012 was a good deal

It is a beautiful course with some great holes . The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is pace of play and never seeing a Marshall to correct it( which could of easily been corrected be talking to two groups . The group in front and behind us both agreed. Second I do not believe it is an 85$ course gibing the condition it was in. I drove down from Orlando and courses are in much better shape at the same price point. All in all it is a good course and worth checking out.

First time to play Eaglebrooke in 18 years and I was not disappointed. The golf course is in tremendous shape with the exception being the bunkers but that is understandable because of the amount of rain that we are experiencing. The course was cart path only which made our round a little slow and tiring but was definitely worth it. I highly recommend Eaglebrooke Country Club.

I don’t often leave reviews of places unless it is a very negative review but this place deserves all 5 stars. The staff were super friendly (including the guy at the gate to get in!). The greens and fairways were/are in phenomenal shape. Course looked and played great. Awesome layout to a course as well! They have water/ice machines at no charge which is a huge plus especially on 105 degree days. Bar is also pretty nice. Saw the cart girl like 3 or 4 times over 18 holes which is a complete rarity on a lot of courses.

We had a buddy who had some heat exhaustion and requested to be picked up by the someone from the pro shop. Pro shop sent someone out, gave him Gatorade, water, ice packs etc. the girl at the bar even tried to give him a snack to help him out. Just wanted to give you guys a huge thanks for everything today. I usually play saddlebrook or lake jovita because I live really close to there and eaglebrook is an hour drive for me (or more) but you better believe I’ll be making the drive back out there again. I had a virtual tour with Ivy to look into booking The Club at Eaglebrooke for my wedding next year. I am writing this review solely to recognize the customer service I received from Ivy. She was so sweet and answered all of my questions!
Although I did not book with them due to it just being a little too far from me and my family, I would 100% recommend that other couples tour with them! The price is very reasonable and Ivy seems like she would be very easy to work with!

( slow and bumpy ) not the normal. My problem is that charged ya full price $91.. I call BS I get it y'all trying to make your money, but we brought you over 25 guys, no group rate no discount for not having the course in its normal shape. I hosted a 3 day golf outing at this course. I would recommend it to anyone hosting a golf outing. The course is very challenging and in great condition. If not for the lake of course tee time management, it would be a five star rating. The course overbooked its tee times and one of the pro shop personnel came out to rush is off the last hole so they could get carts to another group they booked. Our round was 4 hrs 30 min but that was not totally in our control.

Very nice course with one exception. Played on a Monday morning for a decent rate but never told about Top-dressed(sanded) greens. It really affected play but very impressed otherwise. Staff were nice overall and practice facilities were great. Layout is perfect, with a nice mix of challenging and scoring holes. Greens were great, other than sand. Fairways were perfect! Tee boxes were nice. Pace of play was good. I'll be back.

Played here for the first time yesterday and it was fantastic. A challenging course from tee to green on most holes. There is a lot of water on the right side of many holes and several holes where you have to carry over water to reach the fairway. The greens were not overly fast but there is plenty of elevations changes and breaks. The course winds through houses, woods, marshes and lakes and the vistas are unusually stunning a bit atypical for Florida courses. Overall a very well designed golf course along with an equally friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Love Eaglebrooke golf course. I travel extensively throughout Florida & have the opportunity to play many courses. Eaglebrooke ranks high on my list. It's well maintained, it's very challenging, nice pro shop, great bar & restaurant, but most of all the people that run it & live their make ne feel at home, I appreciate them very much!

Nice restaurant & bar in gated community open to public. Just tell guard at gate you're going to clubhouse. Renowned golf course. Food is good & reasonable priced.

Terrific bang for your buck. With the exception of 2 or 3 greens on the back nine that have a few bare spots the course is in great shape. More sand than I have seen on any other course in Florida and water make this a challenging course. Enjoyable to play.
