As an avid gym enthusiast and lifter, when I go on vacation I look for unique gyms. If you are looking for a gym that has just about everything this is the place. They have equipment I haven’t seen in years, donkey calf raise, incline standing bench, and a wide range of machines. It has an old school bodybuilding feel for the serious lifters but also has plenty of equipment for those who are just wanting a good workout. The owner is super nice and very down to earth, and is very knowledgeable. The prices are perfect for whatever you need whether it’s for a day, week, or month. Perfect place for vacation lifters and local lifters. Thank you for the great experience!

I stopped in while in the area on vacation and had such a great experience. First, I did not have cash on me for a day pass and the owner (a really nice guy) let me come back later to pay. Second, the gym itself has everything you could need, including multiple racks (which can be hard to find) - and plenty of fans to help with the Florida humidity.

The best part for me, though, was finding out from the owner that the guys who make the lifting belt I use (Dominion), have their workshop about 100 yards away. I needed some new holes added to my belt and was able to walk over and they had it done in 5 minutes! A great experience and will absolutely come back if I’m in the area!

The important info for my fellow meatheads on vacation near Edgewater:
- dumbbells up to 150lbs.
- ALL the old school Body Masters machines, with excellent upholstery.
- only iron plates, as it should be.
- You’re not stronger than this gym, it’s got more weight

If you live in New Smyrna or on a family vacation down there you need to go to this gym. You can’t beat the prices and the gym is very nice and has all good and new equipment to help meet your fitness goals. On top of that the owner is very nice and conversational and always willing to help you out if you don’t know how to work a machine in there. So highly recommend this gym for anyone out there that wants a nice gym to go to.

This gym is top notch! My brother and I got a week pass here while we were on vacation and we couldn’t be more happy with it. It has a great atmosphere and every machine you could want. I went on a day pass ($10) while visiting my nephew. The owner was cool and friendly, and the waiver process was quick and easy. The gym is top notch! Perfect gym with all we needed. Great owner. Meticulously clean. My husband and I have been competitive lifters for 30 plus years and came across this gym when vacationing in NSB. Old school gym, no nonsense. I was in town for a week and was able to buy a week pass with no problems. The owner was very accommodating and hospitable. Very clean gym and you can tell he takes pride in running the place. I normally workout at a large commercial gym with people who would rather socialize and post their workouts on social media for their followers. The FN Gym is what lifting is all about. And the music here rocks!

Mitch Cornwall the owner of the gym, is a fantastic, heartwarming individual. His personality, extensive knowledge and leadership is extraordinarily refreshing. Perfect gym. I flew in from Ohio on vacation and needed a gym to workout for the week. There are a lot of fitness centers and CrossFit in NSB but no actual gyms until I found this place. I texted the owner on Sunday to sign up for week membership, texted right back and met me here first thing Monday morning. The owner is great gym and took the time to walk me through the gym and show me where the equipment is and answered any questions I had. If you’re looking for a GYM and not a fitness center or CrossFit this is the place to go. Just classic old school iron gym feel, weights and machines. Super clean and well organized. Could not be happier about this gym in Edgewater. When I come back to NSB this gym will be the first place I go to.

If you’re in anywhere near or just passing through edgewater this place is hands down one of the nicest gyms I’ve ever been in. Mitch is an awesome guy and keeps the place and equipment spotless. What an amazing experience! As soon as I walked into this gym, The owner, Mitch, was there to assist and accommodate any of our needs. He even played our favorite music for us. I needed a gym to go to on Christmas Day and was able to have an incredible leg workout before Christmas dinner, plus I wanted to stay on track! Real deal weight training in a good environment. There’s something about the steel weights and real bars that got me back into having fun during training. I was getting bored of my local chain gyms and I didn’t want to get into the CrossFit scene, the FN gym filled that void perfectly for me.
