Tee boxes and fairway weren’t mowed in atleast a week, no difference between that and the rough. Greens full of sand. 118$ for 18 and a rental set and would not recommend or play again. Would be a very nice course if it was maintained. I understand course maintenance period but we weren’t told about anything as far as greens being re done. Highly unsatisfied for that price point.

⛳️ Orange Lake Resort – The Reserve Course

Fun but challenging layout that really makes you work off the tee and around the greens. Tee boxes are rough and definitely need some love. Greens are in fine shape but very slow—be aggressive with your putts or you’ll leave them short.

For $38, the value is excellent. Pace of play was right at 4 hours with no real backups, and the staff we encountered were great. Just be aware snacks and drinks from the marketplace pro shop aren’t cheap.

Overall: solid resort course that’s worth playing. Looking forward to trying the Legends Course next time.

It is a nice layout...it is within a resort, but you don't feel you are squeezed by the surrounding buildings. We played right after some heavy rain, cart path only, but the course seemed to drain very well... sandy by not muddy. The only thing that could be better would be the greens, which were a bit fluffy and slow.

Beautiful course, but be weary if you're a beginner. At hole 6 some guy came up to us playing and repeated how far behind we were, mind you this was a late tee time for a reason, no one was behind us and the sun was still out. This happened at 5pm. He then stayed to watch us play the rest of the hole before turning around and leaving. It made us feel rushed, which is not something you want when you're playing money to play a course. Strange and unprofessional.

Course is alright, worst service I’ve ever had at a golf course all around. Couldn’t get any beer. Had kids playing in the sand right in front of the tee box with parents out there and wouldn’t move when asked, so skipped those holes to avoid the chance of seriously injuring a kid. No one answered when I had called to present the problems. Absolutely ridiculous, waste of money. Legends we had no problems. We actually pulled into reserve and realized legends wasn’t with the reserve and whoever was working the bag drop groaned when he had to pull our bags back off the cart. I don’t usually ever leave a review on a course but I had to because the experiences we had. Go play Legends if you are playing here.

We are very disappointed with our experience golfing at The Reserve. One of our carts broke down on the 4th hole. Called the pro shop and they said they would send a new cart out. The whole group crammed into one cart to keep pace and two holes later we could see back where they were picking up the broken down cart. They took care of the broken cart and never brought us a new one. Once they have your money you clearly aren’t the priority.

We never saw a beverage cart in 18 holes and the course was in poor condition. It definitely wasn’t what you would expect for an $85 dollar a round course. The greens are in bad shape with weeds all over them. There are far better options for the money in the Kissimmee area.

I played here with 3 friends March 2024. We all golf multiple times a year and had a great time. We had a late afternoon tee time, and practically enjoyed the whole course on our own. We never saw another group!.
A fair challenge for us 4 with narrower fairways and protected greens.

Worst condition I've seen the course in having been an owner for 16 years. Staff is also incredibly rude. We checked in 2 hours prior to our tee time, having not swung a club since November and wanting to warm up and practice a bit before our round. The shop attendant snickered and commented " you're way too early, you're not going anywhere". Totally out of line. As if we were a bother for wanting to spend time and money at the facility to practice our game. We did get to practice, but the treatment and attitude of the staff is concerning. This place has become a total joke since Brown Golf took over and its a shame to see what orange lake is doing with our money.

Booked a tee time in advance, which was not honored. Half hour line in the pro shop when I got there. No carts available, driving range closed; told me I’d have to wait at least an hour after my scheduled tee time, but couldn't guarantee I would get a cart. Wouldn’t accommodate playing at one of the other courses on site. Left and played at Providence Golf Club, which I highly recommend over The Reserve.

The clubs are in terrible condition. Out of the two times we decided to golf we broke two clubs. These are beginning golfers who cannot swing hard enough to break normal clubs. They charged us for the clubs because the head went into the water. The employees showed no remorse.

It's rare when I play a place that just punched the greens and its still really enjoyable. The course is tough but still really fun. Very tight layout on most holes. There are a ton of villas and condos throughout the course. I prefer to be a little more remote when I play but it really didn't bother me. The rate because of the greens being punched was $38 which is amazing. I wouldn't have been bummed out if it was $50. Their punched greens are still better than most in city course's regular greens. Even though theres been massive amounts of rain in the height of the wet season it was still very playable. Only a few holes being a little muddy. Definitely will be back.

Overall fun course. Greens are rough and not even worth putting on. Staff was nice except for the golf ranger/mall cop. Super rude and condescending. I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone solely based on the experience and interaction with that douche bag. That’s where the one star comes from. If this was Augusta, sure, be rude when people accidentally forget to stay on the cart path for specific holes. But it’s not Augusta, and it was an honest mistake. If the customer says, “my mistake, completely slipped my mind”, the next response could be “no worries, just remember to stay on the cart path the specific holes.” Not continue to cop an attitude and be rude to the paying customer. If you can’t handle a customer facing job, then go seek employment elsewhere. I’ll be sure to advise against playing here to the military and veteran community.

This golf course looks good from far but its truly far from good. The staff from the pro shop to the beer cart girl were very friendly. However, this is where our good experience ended. The golf course itself is in poor condition - painted greens and dried fairways. The score cards called for 6000 yards from the whites. It was lucky to be 5500. All in all a very disappointing experience. Would not return.

The Legends course (Palmer design in the back of the property) gets the hype but the Reserve is just as nice. Heard stories of mismanagement from previous mgmt co but either wasn't true or they've rebounded nicely. Really good shape for the summer. Played the middle tees and hit every club in the bag, a plus for me. Water, marsh, trees, bunkers in play, go offline and you will be punished.

I’m not one to usually leave reviews but this morning I just couldn’t help but leave one. I really wanted to leave a positive one because Ricky is THE MAN, but the pro shop service was just terrible.

Pro: Course, Ricky (caddy), Beverage cart lady.

Con: Young kid working at the pro shop... we ended up going from one shop to the next and then back to the first... super big inconvenience because of the poor directions and customer service. I know they aren’t Disney but they could have given us a map or something explaining which of the three golf buildings to go to the first time....

Has been the best resort I have stayed in Orlando. Proximity is a huge reason why I stay here (restaurants,Disney World, shopping centers). Aside that Universal Studios is about 25 minutes away, Disney is literally in their back yard, if you stay in the fourth floor you can see the fireworks from your balcony. Their lazy river is great, its not the biggest but its fun. Been here more than five times, Every time I enjoy it more and more.
