I love this gym. They have everything you could need and more. Its also one of the most clean gyms I've ever been to. I'll work out at nights alot of the time and they have people who come in at say 3am and clean literally every piece of equipment in there.

Top tier gym. From bodybuilding (crazy amount of machines), to powerlifting (different bars and platforms), to even Olympic lifting (Oly bars and bumpers); this place has it all. Their childcare room is phenomenal, and all the ladies take good care of the little ones in there.

I was vacationing in Navarre Beach when I found this Gym. The staff are very welcoming,friendly, and answered any questions I had. Sharks Gym is very clean and is well equipped with free weights, cable machines, squat and deadlift area, with treadmills, stationary bikes, stair stepping machines for cardio. There are sanitation stations all around the gym with disinfectant and paper towel to clean equipment after each use. The bathrooms are clean and cleaned multiple times throughout the day. They provide child care for when the adults are utilizing the gym, you would have to inquire about this service. The gym is busy and even the busiest times the wait for a piece of equipment is not long. The Shark Gym is veteran owned and a great place for all your exercising needs and they participate in the Silver Sneakers program. Working out at Sharks Gym with the pleasant knowledgeable staff, clean facility, well maintained equipment and great location was awesome and I highly recommend The Shark Gym for your complete workout needs!

Lots of great equipment. Not more than 1 or 2 of each type, but even when it's busy, the wait isn't long. Staff is friendly, and, for the most part, so are the members. I was warned about the judgmental people here. But I have not experienced that for myself. I'm glad I joined.

I was hoping to get hooked up with a free personal training session like my last gym offered. But at least they do have personal trainers here. Will update this post when I work out with one.

Staff isn’t friendly. No hi or welcome when you walk in the door. Very much a judgmental gym & childcare is terrible and especially compared to the YMCA. If you’re looking for a gym and you have a little one, I would recommend the YMCA. They have plenty of classes and they’re extremely friendly there.

So glad I found this gym while visiting Navarre for a spring break trip! Staff made is very easy for me to get access for a few short days. I have been doing Jody Herrick's HIIT class at The Shark Gym for more than 4 years, and I also work out with her individually weekly. She is extremely well-educated and knowledgeable on everything related to fitness: individualized programming, nutrition, group training, and more. She holds her clients accountable and always challenges them to work harder!

I also highly recommend her bi-weekly HIIT classes for anyone looking for a balanced group workout - she changes it up with every class. NO two classes are EVER the same!

This is a good gym with a great mix of machines, free weights and bands to get a complete strength and cardiologist workout. They are nearly always busy, but everyone is courteous to others.
My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the constant head-banger music. I try to remember my earbuds to play my own choices.

I love shark gym! I’ve been a member several years now. I’ve lived in Navarre for years and have seen gyms come and go. Some were better than others but most didn’t last. At least, not until Shark Gym opened! I love how clean and updated they keep it and the staff is great. I work with Joe Hall for personal training sessions to make sure I don’t injure myself. He’s always been very conscientious of my prior injuries and been able to alter our workouts accordingly. They even have a designated posing area if you’d like to checkout your gains! It’s secluded and private in the back corner so you aren’t bothered by “oglers” BUT, you also don’t have to deal with other people dressing down in front of the whole gym to practice posing as well! The owners Koz & Suzi have fostered a great atmosphere where everyone can feel safe and enjoy their workout whether you’re a newbie, working with a trainer (like me), or a well informed gym goer.

Absolutely love the Shark Gym! It’s always been a very clean and well kept gym. The management and owners take pride in constantly ensuring equipment their members want to use is available and will swap out unused equipment for more in demand machines. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help or provide training sessions. Multiple staff members have competed in competitions as well with the trophies to show their hard work paid off!

In regards to some of the other reviews, I’ve never noticed any issue with management or “ego”. I’ve been at this gym since they opened and it’s ALWAYS been a professional, pleasant, and clean atmosphere. It’s not a “gym bro sweat box” with people walking around shirtless or in “underwear” like other places in town. I’ve seen staff ask a patron to put their shirt back on once or twice and it was always done professionally and politely.

If you want to join a gym to start your fitness journey OR you’re already a fitness pro that’s looking for a gym with ownership that genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place to be!

HOWEVER, be thorough if you find yourself having to cancel your membership. I had another individual on my account (family/group account) and when I cancelled, for some odd reason it only cancelled my membership (the primary/master account) and kept the other person, which it then kept billing me for. When we went to the gym to cancel this, we had to go to some 3rd party website because the number on the card we were given also told us that we had to submit an email request. It could very well be a new system working out the kinks, but just be aware.

I like this gym. I have been coming here for a couple of years now and I tend to keep to myself with my workouts and nobody bothers me which I like. I haven't lifted in 10 years and I am happy with the variety of modern equipment. If I didn't have to get to work in the morning. I would work out all day. Staff seems nice and smiles casually when I walk by but I tend to keep to myself. I gave a 4-star review because I agree there probably should be more bathrooms. But overall I enjoy working out here.

Edit 2023: like most good things, it never lasts. Gym etiquette is out the window, replaced with ego, drama and other unnecessary things. Management is rude and inconsiderate. Bathrooms are usually pretty gross with dollar store toilet paper. Only redeemable factor is location and equipment.

Everything you need to achieve whatever bodybuilding goal you desire, including a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Couldn't ask for more pleasant ownership! Cozmo is the nicest guy ever and is always willing to chat for a few mins. I tell him he looks like a viking when I see him, dude is a prime example of what can be achieved at this gym.
I've already made so many new friends here as well as the members themselves are very cool/chill as we all have the same goal in mind.
Military discount and easy 24/7 access, couldn't ask for more.

I live an hour away from this gym with a 9 week old and was ecstatic when they said they would provide childcare for her. I will gladly drive an hour to get a good workout with a new baby. When we arrived I was told that they would not be able to watch her because she was too young and the children in the child care center would be too old around her. The chick at the front desk was not sympathetic or empathetic at all to the situation when we tried to explain and was very rude.

BEWARE!!! I went on their website and the website said that if I would enter my information it would send me an email with a free one day trial to see if I like the shark gym. So I entered my information and got the email. When I went to the gym to use my one day free trial, and extremely rude lady at the front desk said, “ We don’t do free trials; it will be $10.“ when I explained to her about what the website said she said, “Yeah, we just do that to get your information.” I cannot do business with such deceptive people. I would not recommend dealing with the dishonest people who own the shark gym. I’m also curious about their business model. They are willing to loose years of monthly payments over $10.00. It does not surprise me though. In my many years in business I find that those who are dishonest are that way because they are bad at business.

Got a Week Pass at The Shark Gym while I was in town with my family for Spring Break about a month ago. The facility has everything you need to get a great workout in. While this is the only gym in central Navarre that is free weight & cardio only.. I strongly don’t recommend. The Parking lot is a complete mess, pot wholes 2-3 feet deep that they haven’t fixed in over 2 years.. (they say they can’t do anything but managed to pave half of the parking lot??? )
Expect to park on the road or behind the gym and walk through lots of mud/gravel just to get inside. There’s tons of spider webs and dust all over the walls & windows. The machines are new and work well but they lack in the keep it clean department.
They switched billing companies and now the fees and outrageous. They no longer honor military orders for cancellation (so keep that in mind).

The shark gym is great but every time I try to go in after hours (between 11-2) there are crowds of teenagers hogging the whole other side of the gym. One of the kids is giving free access to all of his friends and I know none of them pay for a membership.Other than this the gym is amazing and very professional!

But slowly the gym became extremely packed all the time, and people prepping for competitions were shirtless and in bikinis right next people just trying to workout. I think they should have a room where they can practice, considering how small the gym is. We cancelled.

The Shark Gym is a veteran owned gym based in Navarre, FL. If you are looking to be motivated while also enjoying the perks of a smaller, family owned gym, this is absolutely the best place.

Cosmo and his wife are always working to update and upgrade the gym to keep their customers happy. It has come so far from when I started going over a year ago. Any time I see them out of the gym, they always make a point of saying hi and they're just genuinely great people.

The gym has all the major equipment you would see at a chain gym, along with a faux grass area for tire flipping, sled runs, and more crossfit style exercises. They also recently upgraded the parking lot and there's almost never a shortage of parking.

The gym has water fountains with bottle fillers and they also have a smoothie/shake shop inside as well. They sell shirts, protein powders, and preworkouts. After your first few times going, all the staff remember who you are. It truly is the best gym in the area.

The owners are great and the equipment is well kept. My big issue is the after hours access. I pay extra for the service as I prefer fewer people so I am able to complete a workout. I find myself going less and less due to the groups of people/teens who flood in without an access card. If this continues, I will cancel my membership. No sense in paying $50/mo when others do not.

Typically this occurs between 11pm -2am but I’ve seen it happen after 2am on occasion.

Great gym!! Stopped in on a weekend while travelling out of town and was able to get in an awesome workout. Plenty of space, solid selection of equipment and weights, good atmosphere. I was stoked to find this gem of a gym. Getting a good workout is hard when travelling sometimes...they make it easy. Wish I had a gym like this back home :)

This place is my home away from home. Each time I am here, I stay for a very long time because half the time I'm here I'm enjoying the feeling of the people, spacious room for all workout activities, and the MUSIC. This gym is second to none, and I'm always recommending people to go to it.🦈💪

Solid gym. Lots of different machines and plenty of areas to squat and deadlift. Plenty benches for bench. Plus the music they play comes in clutch when you forget buds.

Love MY gym. Have been a member since they opened, and they are constantly expanding there equipment. Just an fyi, they no longer have batting cages, which is perfect. There are three different size tires to flip, battle ropes, plenty of floor space to do ab work and so much more. The staff is amazing, Art, who is usually there most mornings during the week, will make it a point to get to know your name. Incredibly friendly feels very much like family. Don't hesitate to ask any of the staff for advice or assistance! They also have a key fob you can purchase for an extra monthly fee, ($5) so you can have 24 hour access. Plenty of free weights,( they just doubled there selection in the last week) and machines. Family or friend not from here can buy daily access pass. My father in law loves it when he comes to visit. :) They do silver sneakers too! Susie and Cosmo are the most friendly and passionate owners, so say hello!

Great gym with everything you need for a good workout! Plenty of machines, free weights, ect. Owners Cosmo, Suzi and staff are very friendly. If you need a personal trainer I highly recommend Jody Herrick. I've been working out with her for months and I'm loving my workouts! She's very passionate at what she does!

It’s been about 2 months since we “canceled “ our membership. We were told that before the new year we would still be charged for January, but membership would end January 31st, which was totally fine and I understood 100%!
During the cancellation process(or lack there of) I was told to write on a piece of scratch paper and put our names, that we want to cancel, the date and to sign. Again, this was before the New Year.
Fast forward to February 1st, we were charged for a membership fee. I didn’t notice this activity until last week, Tuesday to be exact. I called the gym and was told to send an email. I got a reply asking for the names on our account and replied promptly.
Friday, I sent yet another email notifying that I still haven’t seen any refund activity to our account.
Today, Monday, I called and was told to leave a message and that the owner would call or email back, and still I wait with no new activity to my account.
It may not seem like a big deal, but 75 dollars for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids using the daycare) is not cheap. That is a weeks worth of groceries on out household.
So in other words, the communication, the cancellation, and the customer service has been lackluster, in my opinion.
