Immensely remorseful I ever trusted these owners. Disgusted by the way they blindsided their staff and clients. Betrayal. Deception. Lies. Don’t recommend ever putting your faith in these people, because Christine and Joe will screw you over too, and never even bat an eye. The fakest Scammers I’ve ever encountered.

Updated/changed review!!! It will not let me put zero stars or I would. The owners decided to go on a vacation to Mexico for two months start their business of scamming people down there, and fire everyone and closed this past Friday with no notice. No refunds. Nothing. Turns out they did this in st augustime as well from what is being heard now. Morally horrible people. Charged us on the 15th knowing they were closing, and took money in full for the year from some people recently!!!! Also using our pictures for the same thing in Mexico. Joe and Christine are absolutely horrible people. Feel so sad for the coaches and staff that had no idea. Everyone is now scrambling for jobs and customers are scrambling to cancel their credit cards. If you ever run into thriv in the future somewhere, or the names of the owners walk away!!

I have to change my original post. Don't get me wrong the trainers were great but the owners just dumped on all of us. Up and moved to Mexico, fired the staff and changed the locks on the business. Then sent out a vague email saying a lot of nothing. These people can't be trusted.

Thrivfit. Is THE place if you want to be given a healthy eating program, instructions on how to stick to it and the continuous encouragement to do so.Plus , awesome menus and recipes!!!
Also, the best personal training program, adjusted to your needs and physical condition or limitations.
The trainers are a great team, Rachel, Andrew, Christa, Stephanie, John, Mary...always observing, encouraging, challenging, adjusting, their groups!!! These coaches are "top notch" in their field, always ready to help you advance .
I've been with Thriv many years and Joe and Christine are phenomenal trainers and dedicated to helping all to stay healthy and grow stronger .No matter what age .....these programs will and do help!
The only thing I miss is RealRiders!!

Allow underage children to sign contracts. Had to hire an attorney today for my child because of this.

The coaches are phenomenal! They modify the exercises for you if you have issues, i.e.: knee, back, shoulder etc. If you're trying to lose weight & tone up this is the place to be!! Their food plan works & is pretty tasty as well!

The best high intensity workout I have done in years, 30 minutes and I am set for the day. The staff is personable and well informed, professional and creative. Clean facility, just wish they were open more hours.

I've been a part of the "Thriv Tribe" for over a year now. It has been an experience of a lifetime. I have the opportunity to work with the best coaches in the city. The encouragement and motivation that I receive on a daily basis far exceeded my expectations. I am STRONGER, FASTER and FINER than ever! I feel as though Joe and Christine created the program with me in mind. The environment is so positive that I look forward to my "me time" workout! This is the place where you can be who you were meant to be!!!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE AND BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS GYM!! They scam people out of money even after their annual membership expires. Read your contracts people, they are very rude in the office there. The wording in their contracts try to trap people into auto renewing and making it very difficult to cancel. They will be hearing from an attorney for sure as these people are liars and cheats.

Disrespectful staff, I think it may have even been the owner....I went to go get a one month membership with their military discount. My military id expired the day before i went in, i didn't realize it. Instead of saying come back when you get a new one. She said "your not in the military" calling me a liar. I said yes i am. She kept on telling me i wasn't. Don't waste your time DISRESPECTFUL

What a joke. Beware and stay away. My parents and I have been members for three years and never been late with our dues. My father was diagnosed with dementia and unable to work out. They didn't care so we waited for his contract to run out and then cancelled. I became a full time caregiver and was unable to go. My contract was finally up and went in three times to cancel. Apparently anyone can sign you up, but the actual owner has to be there to cancel. In addition they are happy to charge you one more month after canceling. My father just passed and all accounts are currently locked. Instead of being sorry for my loss they were sorry that month hadn't gone through. Three years and they acted like I was the scrum of the earth not taking care of my responsibilities. I asked them to please work with me and to finally terminate my membership. No was the answer and I couldn't terminate my contract because of this one payment I could do nothing about. They told me they will continue to charge plus fees and would do nothing to work with me. One lady even said she lost a parent and still paid her bills so to suck it up. They have no heart or compassion. Just care about their bottom line. I thought a small gym would have a more personal feel, but not so. Go with a corporate organization. At least they are less expensive.

Beware Of Thriv Fitness

I am now simply 'trying' to quit this club. I have a lawyer involved and have also filed a complaint with the BBB. I joined to take the classes and that is all I wanted to be able to do. Instructors don't show up and they simply cancel the class. They have no alternate plan or substitute instructors. They have stopped me from taking classes because I was late (in some cases just 1 minute late) and they won't let me take TRX two days in a row (they say it is for my safety). It seems like these strange rules are designed to deal with the overcrowding. None of these rules were mentioned when I joined or are listed in their contract. As a matter of principle, I am refusing to pay them the cancellation fee. So, they say they are going to keep adding monthly dues to my account, turn me over to their collection agency, and ruin my credit. Really nice people to deal with.

I was referred to join by a friend who was a member. Prior I was just working out in my garage. Since I work many hours the 6am (dawn patrol classes) are perfect. The locker rooms are clean too. The owners are frequently replacing matts, shower curtains. Over one weekend they repainted the whole place (i didnt realize it needed it.) Then another weekend they replaced almost all the flooring. (Again, I didn't see it needed it.) The staff really puts their money back into the business.
I must also comment on the friendly members. I was first a little intimidated that I was usually the only male in the morning classes, but all the ladies were nice and encouraged me to just enjoy the classes. I listened and after about 4 weeks my strength was much improved. I still have about 15 pounds yet to kill off, but including Thriv into my busy day has been a wonderful addition.
**And a shout to the 6am dawn patrolers...."Give me a quarter turn right!"
