Top Gallant Yoga is amazing!

Instructor Patricia Boekhout goes above and beyond to share her expertise with kindness and a great sense of humor. I started taking her yoga and meditation classes during the pandemic but recently needed help with back pain relief. Patricia came through with specialized poses that have been super helpful in relieving my back pain.

I have been doing gentle seated yoga online with Top Gallant Yoga for a few years now. The instructor is always friendly and helpful. They have recently updated their website, it is fairly easy to use. If you have any issues, you can reach out to them and they will help you. Great customer service, friendly instructors. Very nice class.

Thank you to Patricia @Top Gallant Yoga for assisting me in my return to yoga after 4 years. I felt welcomed and excited to work my body and benefit from (me time)and meditation. Top Gallant Yoga is located in a beautiful spot and the studio is calming and roomy. So nice not to have to pack anything as everything is provided and set up for you.

I have been practicing yoga for over 30 years and hoped – when I relocated to Florida – that I would find teachers as extraordinary as those I’ve worked with in Boston and DC. Patricia and John at Top Gallant Yoga are both amazing teachers and I enjoyed their classes five times a week when I lived there. When I moved to Boston two years ago I was sad to leave them and then Covid hit and they quickly moved to Zoom. While the studio is now open I still attend classes via Zoom and am grateful for that opportunity. For the past two years I’ve practiced with Patricia (I miss John; our schedules don’t match). She has years of distance teaching (relocated from Europe and still has clients from her years overseas) and it shows up on Zoom which is a huge advantage over instructors who started using Zoom 1-2 years ago. I am amazed by her uncanny ability to focus on each student. Even through Zoom: “Joan, what’s going on with your left shoulder?” “Joan, lower your right buttock.” “Joan, keep your shoulders flat on the floor.” Every class is different based on student needs and is always exactly what I need. How does she do that? Patricia is real, warm, caring, smart, funny, compassionate, dedicated….and I could go on and on. I am blessed beyond measure to have her in my life.

I was very fortunate to attend my first, but surely not my last, class at Top Gallant Yoga.
While I have been physically active my entire life, life has gotten in the way the last few years. I was looking for somewhere to teach me how to relax and stretch my poor worn out body and overworked mind.
Top Gallant Yoga is that place! Patricia is kind, understanding, patient and knowledgeable. She understands that we are not all 20 or 30 or....anymore. She also convinced me that my body and mind are not quite done yet.
Top Gallant Yoga is a very serene and relaxing environment in a beautiful location.
I have already booked my next few classes! I can't wait.

She asks each of us what we need and what is hurting us. The classes are different every week. I love this approach and look forward to my yoga! When I relocated to Florida five years ago, I was extremely lucky to find Top Gallant Yoga. I love the warmth and dedication that Patricia and John bring to the studio. The environment is always a safe and positive space while mindfully teaching correct asanas and information about yoga. Patricia and John have years of practice experience and teaching know-how. It is apparent that they live the yogic lifestyle. My personal experience is always hands on in class, and emotionally connected both in and outside the studio. I have participated in yoga poses, meditation and yoga education while receiving emotional and spiritual support.

She holds space for her community and teaches with a focus on alignment and technique, but also on growth and positivity. My practice and confidence has grown so much in the time I have been attending classes at Top Gallant Yoga. I enjoy attending small intimate classes where I can receive individual attention if necessary, and a concierge service that provides all equipment. I have been practicing yoga with Patricia and John and Top Gallant Yoga for several years and am very happy with both of them as instructors and with the cleanliness and ambience of their new studio, located in a serene country equestrian setting yet just 5 minutes from the intersection of US 441 and Lantana Road. Top Gallant is by far the best yoga studio I have ever been to! Patricia is extremely knowledgeable and cultivates a community feel in her small class style setting. I was always interested in yoga, but felt that I couldn't commit because my own injuries could be limiting. But at Top Gallant I'm able to keep to a regular routine and have increased the number of classes I attend over time. Going there is truly a mind+body experience.

My eyes always rolled at the idea of yoga. Ya know: pretzel positions, inner and outer relaxation at all times with a whole lot of “OM”-ing and “Namaste”-ing throughout every day.
My body, my inability to relax, my lack of even KNOWING what the chants meant or when used absolutely negated yoga from my lifestyle. Also, trying yoga in huge classes, shown a pose by a professional “yogi pretzel” and expected to duplicate with zero knowledge of ME.
Fast forward some years, some more arthritis, and an introduction to Patricia Boekhout, owner of Boynton Yoga Wellness, now relocated and renamed TOP GALLANT YOGA.
Patricia is THE personification of a caring, brilliant, instructor. She “takes a peak” at how one’s body moves. She observes ease, distress, and her skill at modification is incomparable.
Her group classes are small-really small-as in 5 or so students. All the yoga props are at one’s already placed mat. Concierge service yoga, would you believe?
Patricia’s voice is soft and her corrections are gentle.
I choose private classes as I need her one-on-one
Spiritual and positional expertise.
I can rave continuously. Yoga at TOP GALLANT YOGA
Is my choice now. I’m actually learning to breathe
which though apparently done since birth can be used to fascilitate a pose as well as relaxation when done slowly and deeply. Who knew?
Try it. The first class may be complimentary. Make the introductory call and try what has provided me with an amazing “Attitude of Gratitude”.

Top Gallant Yoga is the place for you, allowing only a few people to be around you during a class. Therefore, you are not competing with anyone, you can be comfortable, and at peace in the space that you have chosen on your mat while you practice.

Patricia and John are both amazing teachers. They both have made a big difference in my life, body, mind and soul. Patricia is clearly a knowledgeable and well-informed Instructor making all classes appropriate for all levels and all students. There is definitely something for everyone at Top Gallant Yoga. This was my first online yoga class and it was so wonderful to reconnect with my very first yoga instructor, a woman who meant so much to me for so long. Nancy is the embodiment of what yoga means- she is compassionate, kind, gentle, selfless and caring. Her classes are easy to follow, easy to adapt to one's own level of comfort, and totally enjoyable. I hope one day I"ll see her in person again, but for now this is second best and look forward to more classes. Namaste :)

This morning I had a new class, mat pilates. It was a great class, great instructor, very invigorating! Core based exercises. EXCELLENT!! Looking forward to more mat pilates at BYW!!

5+ STARS for Patricia and John. This weekend they ran a mini yoga retreat. It was FABULOUS! In addition to an extended yoga class, delicious luncheon and meditation relaxation, there was Peggy, the massage therapist who is available at the studio., She did a great chair massage and John did individual personal stretching...very special. I look forward to booking these services and the next mini retreat!

While only an occasional yoga participant, I feel a genuine level of comfort and calm at this studio. Patricia has a unique personality that exudes warmth while maintaining a high level of professionalism that you feel from the moment you enter the studio. I recently attended a class led by Rose who also exhibits the best qualities you desire in this setting. Great energy with no pretenses and the ability to cater to each students abilities and comfort level.

As a great bonus one must indulge themselves and experience the wonderful expertise of Peggy, the massage therapist. I have been most fortunate to have traveled extensively globally for more than 30 years enabling me to have experienced many forms of massage therapy in many countries. Much of this was in Asia where I resided for 10 years. Through these experiences I recognize Peggy’s gift of incorporating many schools of massage and the ability to cater this to your individual needs. Whether your need is deep tissue, reiki, therapeutic stretching or a relaxing and calming massage, Peggy tunes in to your needs and delivers a truly comforting and healing experience. She possesses a great gift that few therapists are capable of sharing with their clients. My only regret is that I haven’t allocated enough time to have a regular session with Peggy. Perhaps my first New Year’s resolution.

Rose Bruce leads yoga classes that are healthful to the whole body and mind. She shares knowledge and understanding of poses and spiritual inspiration that help those of us with issues such as painful joints, arthritis, building strength, balance in our own limbs. The ‘Core Flow’ classes on Tuesday and Thursday morning is nutritious yoga conditioning, which Rose modifies to the students individual needs. Really nutritious also for the body is Friday “Yin” yoga that stimulates the connective tissues. Also modified to needs. These classes feel good all over the body and Improve overall health. Rose is the newest instructor, a terrific addition to Boynton Yoga Wellness team.

I was a yoga student back in the 80s and 90 s. My health has changed and I could not do the hard classes I used to do. I never found an exercise class I liked. I missed yoga so much. Then one day I saw a sign that lead me to this remarkable WELLNESS yoga studio. The instructors are all wonderful and design classes based on how everyone feels before the classes start. Its all about their students. They care, they share their 30 plus years of yoga knowledge, wisdom and love to make every class an experience like no other for each student. I highly recommend this studio to everyone. They have classes from gentle yoga to vinyasa flow. Classes for anyone at any level.
I tried the new Yin and Grin Friday evening with Rose!!! It blew me away!!! No teacher is alike. No class is the same. This is a unique studio truly dedicated to wellness and you. Each teacher has a true gift. This studio has changed my life. If you want peace and wellness in your life take a class at this studio and feel the difference.

This is a terrific yoga program and fantastic staff that really cares about you and your experience there. There is a good variety of types of yoga programs available and the sessions are with small sized groups and lots of personal attention from the instructors especially John and Patricia - they provide excellent guidance and support for individual objectives and needs. I have been to other places which are often large and impersonal, more gym like than yoga. Boynton Yoga is always focused on you and what yoga means and can help you with.

Patricia and John have recently added a massage therapist to their outstanding and caring yoga practice. I have seen Peggy every week for the last five weeks. Peggy has been able to offer me healing hands through my many years of car accidents, falls and most recently rotator cuff surgery. I always feel comfortable, cared for and safe on her table. She listens! I have never had a massage therapist listen more intently to me, not only what’s going on with my body but in who I am! She is an exceptionally talented , gifted and caring massage therapist. She is the best I have had. Thank you Peggy, for being there for me. I highly recommend Peggy.

My husband and son surprised me with a gift certificate to this studio on Valentines day this year to use during our annual visit (from Brooklyn, NY). I've taken the Flow class with John and the Yin class with Patricia. Each wonderful, instructive, carefully challenging and restorative. Beautiful equipment. Lots of attention to breath.
