I’m extremely disappointed with the gym’s policy regarding scooters. This is the second time my scooter has been stolen right outside the facility, and the gym still refuses to allow members to bring their scooters inside.
What makes this even more frustrating is that no one from the gym took responsibility or offered any real solution after either incident. Members who rely on scooters for transportation are left with no safe option, and being forced to leave them outside—knowing theft in the area is common—is simply unacceptable.
I’ve been a member of this gym for almost two years, and I’ve always valued having a consistent place to work out. Staying active is important for our health and well-being, but dealing with repeated thefts and a lack of support from the gym is incredibly discouraging. Situations like this make it hard to stay motivated and committed to coming regularly.
I sincerely hope the management reconsiders this policy and provides a secure space for scooters. Long-time members deserve to feel that their personal property is protected while they’re inside trying to take care of themselves.

Extremely Disappointing First Experience at UFC Gym Midtown

I went to UFC Gym Midtown early this morning around 6:30 AM as a guest with my friend, who has been a loyal member for over five years. Unfortunately, my first experience was incredibly disappointing.
At first, the staff let us in, and I went to buy a drink. When they asked for my number for the rewards points, I was suddenly told I couldn’t make a purchase or work out because I didn’t have a guest pass on file. I had already accepted the free class pass, yet both the front desk associate (Sofia) and the manager refused to honor it.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, they were rude, dismissive, and made us feel completely unwelcome. The manager wouldn’t even come to the front desk we had to call him from there. After all that, they still turned us away, wasting our time and ruining our workout.
It’s disappointing to see such poor customer service from a gym that claims to value its members. This experience left a terrible impression, and I would strongly reconsider joining or recommending this location to anyone until they improve how they treat guests and loyal members alike.

Extremely disappointed with UFC Gym Midtown.
On September 30, they charged my debit card for a membership that didn’t even exist in their system. After taking the money, the staff admitted there was no membership tier like that anymore.
It’s now been almost a month, and I still haven’t received my money back. Every time I call, they give me a different excuse and tell me to “wait a few more days.” No one takes responsibility or follows up properly.
Their classes get cancelled every time with no notice, there are a buckets of dirty boxing gloves that stink every time you walked in to the training room, no body takes responsibility on representing the brand.
This has been a frustrating and unprofessional experience. I’ve been a loyal customer elsewhere, but this situation shows a complete lack of accountability. I hope management steps up and resolves this immediately — customers deserve better.

I have been a member of this gym for over 2 years and I called the number hoping to speak to the front desk but instead I spoke with Manny Lopez. His customer service was absolutely exceptional and resolved my concern 100x better than I was expecting. He made me aware of being able to add guest privileges to my account, when I didn’t even realize that option was possible. This is a review specifically for Coach Dimitri Brave at UFC Midtown. I take his HIIT class 4 times a week. And do so because he does things with excellence and passion.

He brings great energy to the early morning crowd, always has a fire music mix, pushes people to their limits, but shows them grace when they’re early on in their fitness journeys.

He is very organized and thoughtful in the way he sets up workout stations, paying close attention to each body part and adding complex movements for maximum output while assessing/explaining risks for injury. He always takes the time to explain the movements and variations as needed.

He does more than coach a class, he has created a wonderful community that has fun and pushes each other. He really is one of the good ones. So whether you take his class or enlist his services for one on one coaching, you will have made a great fitness decision.

Heads up for anyone considering this gym:

I just found out they hit members with a “manual maintenance fee” of $80+ for soap, shampoo, and other bathroom items, even if you never use their facilities. I personally never step into their dirty bathrooms, yet I still got charged.

It’s not an obligation for you to have this and even less to charge us for something you want to provide to be different from other gym…

When I called today, I spoke with a condescending and arrogant staff member named Justin. His words were: “You signed this, so it is what it is! It’s the second signature on your contract! Blablabla” and after that a very awkward silence on a phone Miami style!!

That’s Miami customer service for you? In my opinion, a better response would have been:

“Sorry if you didn’t notice it , it’s easy to miss with all the reading and signing. Let me see if I can do something to help.”

Even if nothing could be done, at least the customer would feel heard instead of treated like nothing but a phone number and a walking payment machine.

To be clear, I actually like going to this gym. The jiu-jitsu classes are great, and the boxing facility is decent. Manny Lopez, you’re awesome brother. But experiences like the one with Justin today really make me reconsider my membership.

⚠️ WARNING: Do NOT trust UFC Gym Midtown

This gym is nothing but a headache. I signed an agreement for 8 personal training sessions that’s it. Once those 8 sessions were done, they still charged me for 4 more sessions without my consent, taking $230 from my account.

When I first questioned the charge, the trainer admitted he “forgot to stop the auto-pay” and promised a refund. The manager, Yuni, also assured me that since it was auto-pay, they would refund the money. Everyone acted like it was “no problem” until it came time to actually refund me. Then the story changed. Instead of giving me my money back, they just threw credits for classes on my account that I never asked for.

I’ve emailed, called, and tried contacting the director and accounting, but no one has ever responded. This is unprofessional, dishonest, and unacceptable.

The managers are fake. The trainers make promises they can’t keep. They will take money out of your account and refuse to give it back.

I already paid for my year membership, which is the only reason I’m still going but I regret it. Do not sign up for a year membership here. Do not leave your card on file. They will take advantage of you.

Very disappointed and will never recommend UFC Gym Midtown.

I’m disappointed with the current condition and management of UFC Gym in Miami Midtown. Many of the machines have broken cables, and several exercise stations are patched up with black duct tape instead of being properly repaired or replaced. The facility often has an unpleasant odor, and the bathrooms are consistently not well-maintained. Additionally, the music system is frequently broken, which negatively affects the workout environment. There have also been multiple occasions where the gym did not open on time at 5 AM as scheduled, causing inconvenience to members. Overall, the lack of upkeep and poor service reflect a gym that seems more focused on collecting fees than providing quality experience for its members. At this time, I would not recommend this location

I've been a loyal member of UFC Midtown for over five years now, and it's become my primary gym. One of the biggest advantages is its excellent location, making it super convenient.
The pricing is also a major plus; at just $52.00 a month, it's a really good value for what you get. They have an abundance of cardio equipment, including plenty of Stairmasters, treadmills, bikes, and more, so I rarely have to wait.
However, where they could improve is with their machine weights, especially for legs and glutes. There's definitely room for a better selection or more updated machines in that area.
Overall, it's a solid gym. Given the great location, fantastic price, and ample cardio options, I'd give UFC Midtown a 4-star rating. It's a great place to get a good workout in!

I joined UFC Fit Midtown in April expecting a premium fitness experience. Instead, within three months, I experienced ghosted personal training sessions, inconsistent service, rapid staff turnover, and a serious breach of privacy when a shirtless trainer I had never met contacted me via WhatsApp.

I sent a detailed and respectful email to management explaining everything—and was met with complete silence. No one followed up. No apology. When I went in person to cancel my membership and request a refund for unused personal training sessions, not a single manager was available. No one even asked why I was leaving, and I was told I couldn’t receive a return.

This gym charges nearly $400/month between membership and training. For that price, I expected leadership, accountability, and respect—not disorganization and indifference. Honestly, Planet Fitness and LA Fitness provide better structure and member care at a fraction of the cost.

If you're looking for a well-run, member-centered gym, this isn't it. UFC Fit Corporate seriously needs to reevaluate what’s going on at the Midtown location—because for what they charge, the service simply doesn’t measure up.

They added a new Olympic lifting platform, EXCELLENT job listening to us customers. (Now they just need to get all the hip thrusters OFF the Olympic lifting platforms, there are plenty of machines that are better for glute development.

They rearranged the upstairs functional rooms. I really enjoy it. They added more equipment and removed the BJJ mats. Now you can workouts in that room without having to be barefeet.Good gym. Good customer service. Good classes. Big functional area with turf. Big open mat area with heavy bags. Just get the elevators working so we don't have to smell weed and dog poop in the stairs or going around the whole building.

By far my worst gym experience!!!! DO NOT purchase any long membership here, every single manager that I spoke with was selling me lies. The amount of misinformation is just beyond! I was sold a 2 year membership here (totally my fault for not checking the contract though) and that same day decided to change it for a year instead, when I called the gym a manager picked up and once o explained to them what I need that hung up on me, I called them back that same minute and they told me the manager left for the day. Another time I signed up for 12 classes and was told that I’ll be charged equal amount within 4 month, on the fifth month I was charged again and called the gym to find out what happened, they told me sorry but actually you signed up to be charged every month until you yourself cancel which I was not told at the time. They didn’t give me money back for it. Finally I moved out of the area and decided to cancel the membership, for about 2 month I sent multiple emails that were never replied to, I’ve called the gym plenty of times and the calls were not returned. At the end I was able to speak to someone and they said that unfortunately I cannot cancel the membership, even though at the time they told me that I can cancel if I move away 20 miles away from the gym. Overall just the worst management team that I have ever dealt with. Terrible experience, never stepping my foot into this gym ever again!

So I might have speed ran all gyms in Midtown and Wynwood. All I can say is that I got the best customer service from UFC. I was planning on just checking it out, but they hooked me up! Signed me up for a class, did an assessment on my posture, on how I did a couple of moments. I was interested in recovery and they pulled through! I got to try a bunch of stuff! Manny is a sweetheart and honestly one of the best people I have spoken to. He wants to get to know you and give you the best service you need. Dan was great, very knowledgeable and he caught something that no other trainers were able to catch about my posture. It’s too early to give an overall opinion of the gym, but I am very impressed to say the very least.

I had high hopes for UFC Gym Midtown, but my experience was deeply disappointing. The price I agreed to pay turned out to be more of a suggestion than an actual commitment—they charged inconsistent amounts without explanation. When I tried to resolve the issue, the staff kept passing me off to someone else until it became clear they were just hoping I’d give up. It’s frustrating and disheartening to feel taken advantage of. Great facilities, but terrible accountability and customer service.

Para completar, me cobraron Late Fee, aunque el pago fue hecho el mismo día de vencimiento. Excusas de que es “el sistema que trabaja de esa forma” no te devuelven el extra cobrado. Poco serios.
Mi calificación es por la parte administrativa y calidad de atención al cliente, pésimo.
Pagando la membresía de mi hijo, con mi cuenta de banco, tuvo que cancelar su membresía, lo hizo en forma telefónica. Su membresía de ingreso incluía primer mes, último mes y fees. Su cancelación tuvo que ser de un mes para el siguiente por lo cual no pudo utilizar el último mes, lo cual le dijeron que iba a pasarme efectiva a mi persona (esto en mes junio ‘24). En julio, no solo que no me hicieron efectivo ese traspaso, sino que además me volvieron a cobrar su membresía. Enviado el mail a quien “supuestamente debería ver mi situación” la Srta Emilia, no lo lee, y al hablar personalmente: 1ro me niega que se haga cancelación por teléfono y 2do el traspaso del último mes es “mas que seguro que NO, pero que debería hablar con su supervisora (todavía estoy esperando que me avise por si o por no). Y 3ro pedí revisión de mi cuenta por débitos extras, lo cual siempre te encuentran algo que debían cobrarte y te quieren convencer con eso. El mes que me cobraron de más no me lo reintegraron.
Siempre llevé amigos, parientes y recomendé a este gimnasio. Nunca me regalaron ni un caramelo.
A todo esto, consejo para los nuevos y viejos miembros tb, porque son cosas que no les dicen:
-Toda solicitud de baja, pedidos o cambios respáldenlos con mail
-Envíen mail, pero no esperen que les contesten, van a perder tiempo, no leen los mail nunca (tuve 2 casos), solo sirve para respaldo.
-Quizás solo pasen un mal rato tratando que le solucionen su situación, lo arreglaran a su conveniencia.
-Atención al cliente, horrible.
-Sigo yendo por las instalaciones, nada más.

I’m really loving it here! I’ve been in to fitness for 15+ years. Can’t say that I’ve been to many gyms better. As far as the “local neighborhood go-to” style. They have everything and more. Manny is an angel.. He pushed me to get more serious about not only my physical but my mental health. Highly recommended for the fitness fans. They have it all!

Extremely disappointed in how this gym treats its loyal members. My friend, who has been a dedicated member for years and attended daily, was abruptly kicked out, had her contract canceled without warning, and even had the police called on her—for absolutely no valid reason. This place clearly has no respect for its members, no matter how loyal. They cancel memberships at will, break their own contracts, and refuse to refund your money. If you value professionalism, fairness, and being treated with basic decency—look elsewhere.

UFC midtown should think about finding good responsible people to work there. The staff that they have at this moment is very rude and not willing to help. The worst part is that when you sign up, they don’t explain anything about the rules after you become a member they just make up rules depending of the day and their mood. My wife was bringing her friends and clients to introduce them to the UFC gym. The way they show her appreciation is by canceling her membership telling her that she was breaking the rules by helping her friends with the machines and positions and told her that she could not take videos during her workouts. She has been a member since 2022 and never had problems with the previous management and staff. And now they have a new management and they just come up with new rules. And refuse to give her back the rest of the money that she paid for the year. According to management it is against their policy. They do that because they know that if you try to do some thing about by getting a lawyer involved it will cost you more than what they would have to give you back.
