I'm an older guy just looking for some fun classes in the way of self defense. I went here once for a free introductory kick boxing class. They put about a dozen or so of us in the octagon cage to gently practice some sparring combos. I got teamed up with an advanced student who went extremely easy on me. I had to sit out the last portion of class because I'm so out of shape. I really liked it a lot. All I needed for my first class was to be clean and come in shorts and a T-shirt. Hand wraps were required but they sold them there for $10 I think. I had no clue how to wrap hands so they did it for me. I'll definitely need to watch videos to do that correctly. It was an art of it's own.

I got to watch no-gi grappling BJJ class which looked pretty cool. There were beginners, intermediate and advanced students all practicing. It looked safe and fun.

The gym is huge and offers bag classes for technique and cardio (which I need a ton of) and there's a lot of equipment. It looks really cool and it's not.

Robert was the main employee I met and he was super awesome to talk to. He told me about all the classes and went over expenses. There was no high pressure sale. Just a super cool guy. I'm pretty sure he's training for something. Maybe he's one of the coaches there too?

I called a few times with no one picking up. When I finally get through they seemed annoyed that I asked about pricing and wouldn't discuss it over the phone until I try a class when others clearly have shared what their pricing is on the review section here. Honestly, I'd avoid this place. They don't seem honest nor do they seem interested in helping. All the other gyms in the area shared prices with me and didn't seem annoyed that I asked.

Horrible management. I signed up for the gym back at the end of April and a few days later I get a personal call “family emergency” in which I needed to take some time off from work because I would be out of town for 6-8 weeks. I communicated this with management before leaving. We came to an agreement and understanding that I would be able to pause my monthly payments so that I’m not charged on my card. I come back and I owe $280 out of nowhere. I go up to the gym to talk to them about it because I was ready to come back and go hard and even started my own little group of women who wanted to join with me. I filled out a piece of paper and was told I would get a call. So I get a call like 30 minutes later. The guy is breaking down everything to me and I’m a very understanding person. So he tells me that he would waive the late fees and would only charge me $238. I told him that’s still a lot to pay for something I didn’t get my money worth in. Not one time I checked in at the gym and I owe that much. I told him when I left my fees was at $154 and that’s what I expected to pay to start back up. It’s month to month and so that only makes sense. It’s not like I’m not trying to pay anything at all because I understand that it’s a business. Hell I have my own business too. He tells me rudely that I didn’t show up. Well I didn’t show up because I was out of town due to a family emergency so how am I suppose to show up? I said I’m just gone cancel my membership and take my money elsewhere. He tells me in order to cancel you have to pay the $238. So now I’m forced against my own will to continue to be charged for a membership I no longer want and it will go to collections. This is crazy to me. I wondered why the gym was so empty all the time and now I see why as well as the reviews I have read on here as well. It sucks because when I did go there to work out I enjoyed it so much. Management sucks and need to get it together. They don’t ever answer the phone as well. I wish it could have been a better outcome but it’s ok because there are other gyms to join that will actually care about there guest.

When cancelling the membership they told me that all cancellations must be done 30 days prior before any payments, I went in person like they requested and sign a cancellation form and paid 137.39, after that both Thiago I believe is called and another guy said that I was all set, now almost 32 days after I’m getting charged 161.90 and they did not even sent me a receipt neither called me or contacted me in any way, they will also not answer the phone, regardless if I called 2-3 times in the morning. Pretty much a shame of personnel for UFC because they really are a good company

My honest opinion is that their fine gym but they lack any customer service. They aren't responsive when you call. Questions are vaguely answered. They're fine if you want to take classes and focus on that but other than that it's not great. It's just my experience with them so far hasn't been great.

Do not do business with this location. We froze our account at the beginning of the summer and no one instructed us that the freeze automatically opens back up after three months. I’ve been billed for three months again before I noticed I was being charged again. I called in And was told by the manager that the only way to cancel is to drive 45 minutes to their location to tell them in person that I want to cancel. I thought we had moved beyond this type of Jim behavior. This ridiculous way of handling things. Told me that I had to come in so they could document the cancellation properly. I told them I would get a notarized letter sent to them or send it by email or text it and they said the only way they would do this is if I came in And told me good luck with your collection account buddy just scummy

I wish I could give this place a zero. Just tried transferring my membership from ufc gym wintersprings to ufc gym Orlando. The miscommunication was astronomical. First they told me I needed to cancel my membership at the wintersprings location. Went to wintersprings, and they stated that they just needed to fill a transfer form and have me sign it. I followed instructions. The UFC orlando location very rudely told me that the wintersprings location needed to call a number to have them transfer the membership there. They said as they said before. I stated that you never told me this information. They continue d to grossly insult my intelligence. I do not recommend this place just due to the unprofessionalism and malignant rudeness.

These guys always have quality classes with HIGHLY qualified instructors. Lulu's a great BJJ Professor who won't let you get away with bad technique.

I absolutely loved this UFC Gym. The front staff were super friendly, honest and willing to listen and address all of my concerns. I signed up on my first visit. Everything you need is here. Free weights, weight lifting stations, cardio stations showers and lockers but, most importantly the trainers make it fun and push you to do better. I will post an update later on this year with my overall opinion.

Easily the best gym/workout facility I've ever used. And I've been to many in my life.

When you see the name, you assume it will be filled with a lot of ego and testosterone. You're afraid you're going to be judged when you walk in that door. That couldn't be further from the truth.

The staff, the coaches and the other members are some of the nicest and most welcoming people I've ever been around. From beginners to former fighters that have been practicing their martial arts for decades, everyone treats you like a member of the family.

Not to mention the fantastic facility and equipment they offer. It's state of the art. Exactly what you'd expect to find at a quality fitness center. But truth be told, if you attend any of their workout sessions (Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, functional fitness, etc - any of them) and you'll rarely use the equipment. You'll love the classes so much, you'll be signing up to do multiple disciplines. And you'll learn some fantastic skills that you can apply in your regular life. You'll feel confidence you never knew existed.

All those other gyms I'd been to in my life, I never lasted more than a year or whatever their introductory special contract offer's time frame amounted to. I have ZERO intentions of leaving UFC, even if the rates go up. I love it that much.

Moved out of state last year and after I was settled in my new city I called to cancel my membership. Guy on the phone was rude and short with me for some reason. Told me I had to come in to cancel. I asked that they send me any forms I need to sign to the email on my account as there is no way I’m coming all the back to Florida to cancel a gym membership. Nothing ever showed up. They then proceeded to send me to debt collection for over a $1000. Thank you UFC Gym Orlando for potentially ruining my credit score for years because your staff is unable to send a simple email.

The cost of the gym is $100 plus $50 for the first 4 months. Not worth it. Go to planet fitness and motivate yourself for $10 a month. This gym has everything I would want in a fitness facility with an added UFC themed atmosphere and classes. They have an excellent staff and facility with weights, cardio machines, bootcamp style equipment, heavy bags, mats, and a locker room to keep my gear. The group classes are fun and challenging. The personal training sessions are next level and tailored to my specific areas of improvement. At 43, I can easily say I am in the best shape of my life from working out there.

I joined in February of 2018 for BJJ and have been going strong ever since. Really enjoy the ability to mix workouts, like Monday cardio boxing, BJJ on Tuesdays, Wednesday some free weights, Thursday crossfit like "Daily Ultimate Training", and close the week on Friday with no gii BJJ. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience here! I started my daughter in the youth BJJ program and its made a huge difference in her school and home attitude, she loves her classes and coaches! The other employees always make her feel special as well as her teammates, it’s become like a second family for the both of us! The facility is brand new, always clean, and huge! If I could give it a zero I would this is very sad that they are loosing clients over rude and bad customer service, I brought my son a few weeks ago for trial and he like it but I had to wait until August to get his soccer schedule so I was sure he can at least make 2 days a week .

When I was there they gave me the enrollment fee and monthly fee amounts and advise how long the contracts was for , I called today to confirm the info they gave me so I could come in this week to enroll him and the lady that I believe is the same one that gave me the info last time I was there was very rude .

All I wanted was to confirm the info so I can go and get him enrolled and she wouldn’t confirm how long was the contract for she said I would have to come in for that when I recall they had said it was for 6 months last time I was there, all I wanted was confirmation .

Very rudely she told me I can just go to another gym which I will because if this is how they treat people just starting I cannot imagine how they treat you when they already have you locked in a contract.

Very disappointing to deal with such unprofessional staff , this place is truly loosing clients and money due to their horrible attitude and I will make sure to get word out for no one to go to this gym , my son was excited to start classes and it breaks my heart to have to tell him that we will not be joining as I will not let anyone be disrespectful or rude to me mostly when all I wanted was just confirmation on what was already said.

I truly hope this gym either shuts down or they truly reevaluate the staff they have there , this is the worst customer service I have seen .

I've been training here since they opened. Throughout this time the gym has remained extremely clean. The staff has been beyond helpful. The trainers have remained professional and have continued to provide wisdom coupled with great workouts. UFC Gym Orlando has provided me with more than I could've ever asked for. They have displayed immense value over the almost two years that I've been training. I couldn't ask for a better environment, better training, or better people. At the end of the day UFC Gym Orlando is a family and it will always be that way. If you are intimidated by the brand or just beginning a new exercise program in general do not hesitate to give them a call. I DO NOT RECOMMEND going to this gym. I went after finding out about it though a family member and signed up for a 1 day trial. The gym itself is great and the instructor for the class did a really good job. After the class I went to the front desk to learn more about the prices and told them I did not want to be in a contract. The guy at the front desk Joel provided me with the different packages they have to offer and I was told if I sign up right away they would cut my initiation fee in half from $100 to $50, I told him it sounded great but I needed at least a day to think about it and to also cancel my LA Fitness membership, right away he started to pressure me into signing up immediately. Whenever someone start to pressure you to sign up for anything it usually suggest you should take more time to think about it to make sure it is right for you. At the end he told he would give me until the end of day to come back and sign up at the discounted price. Around 7 PM I called him to let him know my brother in law and I both decided to sign up but I was at my mother's birthday dinner and told him I would be in first thing in the morning to sign up. The guy told me unless I make it back that same night I lose the discounted price, I couldn't believe it, they have one of the worst customer service and sales tactics I have ever seen. I am offering you my money and referring other family members and all I asked was to allow me the next morning at 8 AM which would have been less than 24hrs from the time I was last there and he rudely said no. Few days later the other lady that works there called me, I explained the situation and I was still willing to sign up at the original price offered to me, she explained that it was against their integrity and there is nothing they can do and even asked me at one point why does the $50 discount mean so much to me. I ended Going to Box Hiit Fitness Forma which I Definitely recommend, much better customer service, much better gym and prices. I even recommend Fusion X-cel if you are in the Ocoee area. DO NOT GO TO this gym, all the negative review are true, this is my first negative review ever written. For me it had nothing to do with the money but more about the poor customer service, sales techniques of being pressured to sign up immediately, and them not being able to give me even 24hrs after being offered a promotion regardless of the circumstances.

Can't properly convey into words how I feel about this place. I came her around Thanksgiving 2018 and started taking Jiu-jitsu. I wouldn't say I'm built for Jiu-jitsu being 6"6 and 350lbs when I started. But everybody here from the staff to the fellow gym members are so friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like you're part of a big family because you are. I'm going through an incredible difficult and nasty divorce and custody battle. Ufc gym offers me a place of therapeutic solitude. I feel like a better human being when I leave this place. It's like the gym is my own personal shrink. If I could bottle up the feeling when I leave the gym I'd be a rich man. There is a small drawback with pricing. It can be expensive. But it is more than worth it. And the staff is always more then willing to work with you. And not to mention if you come consistently and take advantage of the classes it becomes quite cost effective. I'm doing my best to make positive changes in my life. Before I came I was so afraid of being judged, or embarrassing myself, or being the token gym fat guy. But the UFC gym offers me an escape from everything else, and the people inside couldn't be better. COME TO THIS PLACE NOW. DO NOT HESITATE. IT'S MORE THAN WORTH IT!!!!!

Just moved to the area. I walked in to transfer from another UFC gym to this location with membership about three months ago. A man in his early twenties approached the front with his fight gear on and he advised me he worked at the facility. I cannot remember his name.

The employee was rude, offered me a membership contract with full charges even though I was a current member. Manager walked by as I was about to leave and offered me a favorable deal; the manager walked away and the employee then began talking to me and contradicting the manager who had just spoken to in front of.

I left with the contract and because of the behavior of the employee I didn’t return.

I post this now because I recently got charged two payments and they (Other UFC gym) are trying to charge my card for next month because they didn’t get my cancellation in writing until exactly 30 days away. They said if I don’t pay next months payment they’ll send it to collections. They said, “It doesn’t matter the situation, nor what anyone says, you signed a contract. You have to pay. We will send it to collections if you stop payment.”

To bring it full circle; if their employee wasn’t rude, I would have signed up for this place and I wouldn’t have been charged these three months for something I didn’t use because I moved away. because it would have been transferred. Now I won’t go back to UFC. They got me! 💥

Make sure you read the contract before you join!!!! I paid them $200 and only made it to two boxing classes due to me living far from the gym. They told me i can cancel any time due to the distance. Cool gym. Love that there's a giant octagon and a little den beside it for rolling. Workout friendly. Not very fighter friendly. Lady at the front desk was nice. I was just visiting from Tennessee and was told my sign in badge was not working and could still attend the gym as long as I left a good review. That's great! That was very nice. I hit the bag for a while and did a little conditioning. No class. Then I went up to 3 of the coaches at the front desk and asked if any of them would be interested in some LIGHT rolling or boxing seeing as the gym was near empty and didn't see what it would hurt. 2 of the coaches immediately pointed to some other guy and walked away. I was told what might be perceived as fun to me is someone elses living and that they can't really do that. As much as I understand that it was made clear to me that their living is more important to them than seeing the people in their gym progress. I was then told they can offer me a personal coaching package. I said that that was alright. Didn't seem very genuine. Won't be returning here again seeing as I can't anyway without having to pay even though I have the ultimate membership that I pay over $100 for a month that gives me access to any UFC Gym nationwide. Or so they say. Dont want to discourage anyone from coming here to workout. I'm sure they are great coaches. This is just my point of view based off 1 visit while on vacation.

The coaches are excellent. They work you hard and you will enjoy the experience. Worth every penny if you can go. In March I was in an accident that limited my movement. My doctor put me on certain types of stretches and told me to stop all physical activity. I went to this gym with my doctors notes in May and was told they would call and verify everything. June came along and I had not heard from the gym. I went back up there with a second doctors note and I told Maudi whatever her name is to call me if she has a hard time getting through to the doctor. She said ok she would call me. She waited an entire week before she called me. She said she called on Monday and didn’t have time to leave me a message. Soooo how was I to know she called the doctors then??? We agreed that she would let me know so this could be put to bed. She was extremely rude to me on the phone. Do yourself a favor don’t sign a contract with this gym. I will be placing a call to my attorney on Monday. This is what we retain him for!

I love UFC period. I usually attend the Miami location, but I was visiting my mom in Orlando and decided to stop by and check out the Orlando location. I LOVED it! Miami is awesome, but can get very very crowded. Orlando location felt very personal, great atmosphere and team who made me feel home. Loved the DUT workouts created by Coach Junior. I had an awesome workout, learned posture and honestly had a great time! I will be back. Thank you UFC Orlando!!!

My elementary school-aged daughter started with UFC Gym Orlando when it first opened, and it's been probably the most influential experience she has ever had. She is extremely high energy and has a bit of difficulty behaving and focusing in school. She also struggled due to an absence of a consistent, supportive and responsible male figure. Since starting with UFC, things have changed. Her behavior has improved at school and she is learning to focus more. But best of all, she feels loved.
UFC Gym Orlando has become like a family to her. Aside from the amazing coaches who work with the kids in her Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, ALL the coaches and staff are engaging, warm and professional. Everyone says hello. They know you by name. They speak to you. My daughter literally hugs every staff member before leaving practice each day. The classes become family. It's a very diverse environment where everyone supports each other. The coaches and staff care about you as a WHOLE person, not just as a member number. It creates an environment that makes it easy for you to want to be there every day.
We just recently completed her first competition in BJJ and everyone was there to cheer her on. She got third place! I love this Gym and am beyond happy that we made the choice to be here. Give yourself a month of taking classes a couple times a week and see if you don't feel the same!

I don't know where to start!!! This is more than a gym. These guys are training me and my 9 year old daughter to be our best. So much experience and support from all of the staff members. Very family oriented and flexible with all situations, schedules, fitness levels and much more. Best decision to join this gym.

Great training facility with a well structured setup for optimum performance. Coaches are well mannered, funny, and really put you to work. Great kids program and I would personally say it's worth signing up for.

A truly amazing facility! From the moment you walk in the staff are amazing, polite, and professional. The machines and equipment are maintained immaculately. The trainers are great and super motivating during all their classes. I trained her for a few weeks as a transfer from another UFC gym and I was completely blown away by everything in the gym! Definitely recommend for everyone to check it out!

We were visiting Orlando while on vacation and my daughter did a drop-in to the kid's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class. The instructor of the kid's class was really good with kids and he focused on self-defense techniques. Also, Mari at the front desk made us feel incredibly welcome. This gym has a great staff and a really good kids Jiu Jitsu program.

Visited this place on vacation and absolutely loved it! The staff was really nice, the equipment was clean and new, and I was able to move about freely. I definitely will visit this gym again.

Horrible customer service and rude. Guy with the meth head teeth immediately acted like it was a waste of his time and immediately told me that all I was going to do was ask about the price and hence I was just wasting his time i guess. He knows nothing about me, background or economic status. Guess since they are located in Pine Hills ghetto he assumes everyone going their is on ebt or social welfare. The UFC really dropped the ball giving that guy a franchise. The gym is located in one of the many failed Pine Hills outlets, the ones that are empty with closed stores.
