Fantastic gym! They have cryo, infrared sauna, massage, plenty of free-weights/cardio machines, and fantastic classes. Coach Mike and Knox are both legit bare knuckle fighters and have a heck of a class. And Jasmine at the front desk always makes you feel welcome!

UFC gym is great, can’t beat a brand new everything. Haven’t got into the classes yet but the people are great, not overcrowded, and everything you can need to get a good workout in. Would love a bigger sauna but I believe there are plans for an outdoor sauna and cold plunges! Love it.

I’ve always wanted to try boxing and decided to do some one on one sessions with Andrew. He is so patient, professional, and has different ways for teaching a technique when i was wasn’t getting it. I’m so glad i got out of my comfort zone and tried something new. The gym is very clean and locker rooms are kept tidy. I love sitting in the sauna after workouts. 10/10 would recommend!

I highly recommend Coach Andrew for anyone looking to level up their boxing skills. His technical knowledge is exceptional; he has a fantastic eye for detail, immediately spotting and correcting subtle flaws in my stance, footwork, and punch execution. He doesn't just drill—he teaches the why behind the movement, ensuring genuine improvement in form and power.
He's always willing to break down complex combinations or repeat drills until I nail them. I also have to mention the facilities are fantastic. Everything is clean, training equipment is very well maintained, and the staff is stellar!

I started at this gym just a couple months ago and I was a super beginner. Every time I came in I was warmly greeted by multiple people. Once I realized I had no idea what I was doing and would wander around in confusion, I booked my first free training session with Andrew and he showed me a lot for working on the booty. After working with him just the one time I decided to buy a few training sessions to get more familiarized with what to do for various muscle groups. Now that I’ve been working with Andrew for the last month a couple times a week, I’m finding that I don’t want to workout unless he’s training me. Andrew is so top tier. He’s a really nice guy, but always has new fresh hell waiting for me. Never the same routine twice. He’s the best and so is his entire team. I highly recommend coming to this gym and working with these really nice, really cool people who are so eager to help you achieve your goals.

UFC Gym in Pinellas Park has all the equipment I need to get a great workout! The staff members are so friendly and welcoming. I've made many late night gym buddies there, since the gym closes at midnight on weekdays! The trainers and coaches are all knowledgeable and energetic. The kids I see always look like they are having fun and getting legit instruction on how to improve fitness levels for their sport. The bathroom/locker room is kept very clean too and the sauna gets nice and hot!

This gym is great and luckily 5 mins away from me. But I just wanted to state that Enio & Ant are very fun and made my gym experience much better and fun due to them being there. JR has helped to and is very professional and fun at the same time and has been a great help. In the end Enio and Ant have made the gym much more then just my normal gym routine but more so fun, very helpful, informative, and lastly given me tips on stuff etc. But yeah this gym is great and so are the workers 🤩

I want to warn others about my experience with this UFC Gym.

I signed up in November 2024 when they were advertising a January 2025 opening. The gym did not actually open until July 2025 — more than SIX months late. By then, I had already moved out of state in June and never received a single day of service.

When I asked to cancel, instead of taking accountability and understanding Elisabet Lara demanded I had to “pay off past due first” before they would process my cancellation.

This is not only unfair but also unlawful.

Under Florida’s Health Studio Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.017), members have the right to cancel without penalty if a gym fails to open within 30 days of the promised opening date. UFC Gym was over 180 days late, which is a clear violation.

Reading through their reviews, I see I’m not the only one. Others have also complained about the delayed opening and billing issues.

⚠️ If you are considering signing up here, be aware of these practices. If you’ve already been affected, know that you may have consumer protections under Florida law.

I am currently in contact with Florida Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission and will update you here with more information.

IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!!Signed up in NOVEMBER 2024, was told gym would be up by February. Gym finally opens in August? 2025 after I moved away. Never got to step foot in the place and then they charged me $100 for fees that I don't think I should have had to pay because I NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN THIS PLACE SINCE IT OPENED!, I went in asked for a refund and they said there was nothing they could do. The equipment was basic commercial stuff. Your billing practices and customer service is less than morally questionable. I can't give 0 stars but that's what this place deserves

This gym misled us from the start. Before opening, they advertised $1 down, but then dragged their feet for months before actually opening. My husband tried to cancel since he never even got to use the facility, yet they still insisted he had to pay.

That’s unfair and dishonest. Poor communication, slow opening, and refusal to work with members who never stepped foot inside shows bad management.

Honestly, I don’t see this place lasting. Other gyms in this same spot (U-Fit, Gold’s Gym) didn’t make it, and with this level of customer service, I doubt they’ll do any better. If you’re considering joining, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere!!!

All brand new state of the art equipment in the giant fitness area. Upstairs they have all kinds of cardio machines.
The coaches are all professional fighters themselves and are great to work with in classes and 1 on 1 sessions.

WOW! 🤩 This gym is just perfect for our whole family! You walk in, and everyone’s smiling, so warm and welcoming, it feels like a big family vibe.

My husband loves the great variety of equipment - everything he could ever ask for is right there. He’s been doing jiu-jitsu for a while and really enjoys the jiu-jitsu classes especially the level of detail the coaches put into every session while learning from the best jiu-jitsu competitors in the world.

My son’s absolutely loving the martial arts classes, learning from top-level coaches, which is fantastic, all while having fun and making friends. I can train while he’s busy - love knocking out two things at once. Sometimes, we even get to train together! It’s a true family gym, with awesome experiences for all of us.

The price is super reasonable - actually you get way more than what you pay for. It’s in a very convenient location, close to everything. The recovery area with red light therapy and massage chairs? 😴 Total game - changer. 😌

Terrible Experience at UFC Gym – Unprofessional and Dishonest

I registered both of my children for boxing classes at UFC Gym back in January. At the time, I was told the classes would begin in February. Then the start date was pushed to March, then May, and eventually July, with no phone calls, no updates, and no apologies for the repeated delays.

On July 21st, I finally received a call from them, not to inform me of a class schedule, but to ask for money. I still have no idea when the class is actually starting.

The manager, JR, was very enthusiastic and persistent when convincing me to sign up. But when I went in to cancel the membership and speak with him about the promises he made, he hid in his office and refused to come out to talk to me.

My children keep asking when their classes will start, and all I could do was give them false hope over and over again. It’s been frustrating and disappointing as a parent.

They claimed they had emailed the class start date but said I didn’t receive it because I had “opted out” of their emails. Strangely, I still receive all their emails about payments and class selections, just not the ones they claim to have sent. That sounds very suspicious to me.

Eventually, they forced me to pay for July just so they would allow me to cancel the membership. Since I had already paid, I decided to let my kids attend for the last two weeks before school starts, just so the money wouldn’t go completely to waste.

This gym is completely unprofessional and misleading. Save your time, money, and peace of mind, go somewhere else where they treat their customers with honesty and respect.

I signed up for UFC Gym’s $1 pre-sale promo thinking billing wouldn’t begin until I confirmed a plan or used the gym. After moving, I was surprised to find I’d been charged $175, despite never attending or using any services.

In fairness, I later found an email that mentioned this, but I think the sign-up process should make the billing timeline way clearer up front, not buried in post-signup emails.

If you sign up during pre-sale, be 100% sure you understand when billing starts, they will charge you even if you never step foot in the gym. No refund either :(

The gym is nice, but it is nothing compared to the Largo location. Lady that convinced me to sign up said that it would be identical to the Largo location but is missing a good amount of equipment that Largo has. I looked forward to this grand opening after trying out the UFC Gym location in Largo because of the variety of equipment and it had everything you needed no matter what you are training for. I was looking for a box to do some box squats and couldn't even find that. The hype around the grand opening was crazy. Once it finally opened it was very lackluster. Hopefully they get more equipment that would be useful for everyone and some of those machines that are at Largo. Was excited for this gym but it was very disappointing.

This place is going to be INCREDIBLE! If you’ve been to the Largo location you know what I’m talking about. Add to that a combination of infrared AND dry sauna, cold plunges AND cryotherapy, plus a jujitsu room with established coaches.

JR and his staff that are already on deck are ready to get started on day one. Everyone I’ve met at both locations is extremely good at what they do and wants to see you achieve your fitness goals. Personal training is done by professionals (not kids fresh out of nutrition school) Sam’s passion and expertise has me so hyped I’m skipping rest days. Nothing in the area compares to this place, and I have a feeling the few who left bad reviews(due to impatience or misunderstanding) will once again find themselves gracing the front doors with their presence, and welcomed with open arms!

If you think this is strictly a fighting gym and you’re a little intimidated I encourage you to go in and talk to the staff or get a tour when they open. This is going to be a state of the art gym with a specialization in recovery methods that the area has not yet seen.
