If you are looking for a gym that has a small family like atmosphere this isn’t it.

We have been looking for years since moving here for a gym that my daughter could start classes for tumbling and gymnastics. She found love and kindness from all the coaches here until today. Today she was excited to finally try out to be part of a TEAM. She was scared and told one of the coaches that she was nervous to show what she could do at tryouts after class . The coach gave her a pep talk and told my daughter that she could do it and was helping remind her of what she’s capable of.
The coach was given a talking to while in front of my child, afterwards my child ran out of the gym crying her eyes out saying she no longer wanted to try out or come here for classes and privates.
After calming her down, she told me she felt as if she gotten someone in trouble and felt so bad.
Her spirits are now broken and she no longer wants to continue gymnastics and tumbling.
When asking to speak to the owner he let me know that was his wife was who had spoken to the coach while in front of my child, and how they had a problem in the past of favoritism.
Why should we be punished as we just started here and know nothing of this.
It is HIGHLY unprofessional to talk to a team member like that while in front of a child.
No longer will we drive over an hour to a gym where my child will be kept from reaching their full potential.
I have spoken with my child on how this should make her want to do this even more now and how we now need to find a gym where she can actually be helped & not held back, a place that won’t shatter her dreams.

No wonder we never see any of the same kids here.

I just hope the coaches aren’t spoken to in front of their peers this way as well.

I recommend to try else where even if it’s a further drive or more costly.

UPDATE:
We had to switch gyms. Everyone there is kind however the coaching staff drastically changed a few months ago. Two of my daughter’s fav coaches left at the same time. And the owner, who is an amazing coach, isn’t coaching there anymore. He is managing the business from afar. The gymnasts build relationships and trust with the coaches so this big change was a huge deal to them. For example, there is a language barrier with one of the new coaches and as I’m sure his English will improve, there was a safety concern. Some of the higher level girls complained that when communicating with this coach for a specific spot, there was a lack of confidence as he didn’t comprehend what the girls were requesting/saying. Also, the new floor coach, who has a wonderful background in dance, does not have experience with tumbling. Therefore, she was not able to spot the girls with their tumbling passes & upgrades work. I do not have a gymnastics background but even I knew this was a huge concern. A LOT of competitive/team girls have left and more are leaving at the close of this season. It was sad to leave (this gym is only 10min from my house)

My daughter started gymnastics last year at UFFG and is thriving! Coaches are experienced and knowledgeable. The owners have done an excellent job of creating a positive training environment. The coaches push my daughter when she needs it and they are always encouraging. You will never see them yell or be rude/mean to the gymnasts (which unfortunately can easily be found at other gymnastics gyms). My daughter loves training at UFFG. She has made some wonderful friends and is looking forward to winning more medals!

A very unprofessional place. They cannot keep coaches. And the coaches they get are children who cannot handle children correctly. The owners send out very unprofessional emails in regarding personal family matters in wich should not be shared. Not only that but disrespecting staff and firing them, and putting their names out there. Never again would I allow my child to go back there or would I ever recommend this for anyone. place.

Camilla was my daughters coach today for the beginner class. She was amazing. I saw so much improvement in my daughters skills in just the one 50 minute class. Great Coach!

They want to give you a hard time canceling with them and then they want to try to charge you for canceling with them. This places staff is a complete joke. The kiddos class is a joke. I paid to have my daughter do tumbling and all she's doing is sprints like it's a regular gym class. Take your child and hard earned money somewhere else

As a former level 10 gymnast who took her niece for a private lesson, I was beyond impressed. I was greeted by Ana, who was incredibly helpful.

Johnny hosted an hour private lesson and it was well worth the money. He worked with her diligently and maximized the time. He was constantly coaching, correcting and reinforcing.

I have been to other gyms in the area, and this one is by far above and beyond the rest.

My kids have been going here for over a year now and the coaches are amazing with my children. My oldest has advanced so much in this past year and Miss Anna at the front desk is always so helpful when I have questions or scheduling issues. Highly recommend gymnastics facilities.

We LOVE the family atmosphere at UFFG! They truly care about all the families who come, not just the athlete. My daughter loves her coaches, Tanya, Santiago, and Anthony. Kathi the owner often asks me about my family and shows a true interest and care. We love UFFG and can’t recommend them enough.

We as a family, love United flip force! My husband and I enjoy seeing our children look forward to their classes, and such a warm and friendly, clean facility. The entire gym..owners, front desk staff and coaches are amazing! They are all extremely friendly and caring. Coaches test for progression and placement but do not pressure the kids to compete. Instead, they encourage and empower them. Everything they do is for the kids. My child loves it there.

My daughter has been attending UFFG for a year and she LOVES it! The coaches are amazing and so attentive to the children! My daughter is 6 and has ADHD and instead of getting frustrated with her, they’ve truly taken the time to figure out what works for her, what doesn’t and how to keep her busy so she’s not distracted or distracting others. It means so much to me because people tend to lose their patience with her. UFFG has become our second family and we can’t recommend them enough!!! I can’t say enough good things about this gym. We have been to a few others and they just aren’t the same. We made the switch just after school started up and all my daughter has done is EXCELL! Her coaches know her on a personal level and are just as excited to see her as she is to see them. She moved up twice in just two months! I love seeing all of her new tricks! They’re great with social distancing, mask wearing (adults and coaches) and sanitizing as well! We’re definitely a UFFG family for as long as we can be! We just signed up my almost 3 year old for her first class next week, she is SO excited! I’m so happy we found this gym! I’m so so thankful for all of the coaches and staff there!

Very upset with the studio my daughters first time here she fell on the ground lights being she had no business being on about cracked her sternum The owner wanted to make it right and get another free forced to make sure my daughter would not be afraid after a month my daughter didn’t want to continue and I was emailed a bill for 2 months worth classes she didn’t attend! They say I didn’t give 30 notice but never signed a contract. Horrible how they do people.

This is a great gym and without it I don’t think I would still be in gymnastics.great staff and faculty. My girls started gymnastics almost two years ago at UFFG. They absolutely love it! Both of my girls have moved up to the next level class since they have been there. They have grown so much stronger and developed a healthy self confidence. We do not plan on ever leaving this gym as long as we live in this area! The coaches have been wonderful for them. The coaches always tell me what areas to have them work on at home and also the skills they have mastered. We love the gym and the front desk staff and the coaches!! Our family moved from Maine a little over a year ago. We were in a search for a gym that did competitive Gymnastics while incorporating fun. We found it with United Flip Force Gymnastics! My daughter loves coming to the gym and she recently had her birthday party there per her request. At her party the coaches were able to help all skill levels including my preschool son to her friends that never stepped foot in a gym. If you live in central Florida, I highly recommend United Flip Force 😃

My daughters have been going to UFFG for a little over a year. They have felt completely comfortable from day 1. Staff members are friendly & welcoming. Coaches are knowledgeable and patient. Most of all, it is a fun and safe environment. My girls have learned so much and look forward to classes each week. I am so happy that I discovered this gym! My daughter LOVES it, and has mastered amazing skills. The coaches are encouraging, very skilled and talented. They really care and want the gymnasts to do well. They get just as excited as the gymnast does when they are finally able to do a skill they have been working hard on! I switched my 7yr old daughter to UFFG because it’s basically across the street from my house. She attended 3 recreational classes before the coaches noticed her potential and asked her to join pre-team. Within a month she had advanced again to Level 1 team. It’s amazing how much she has grown over the last few months! The coaches are great and positivity always fills the gym! We couldn’t be happier!

My daughter recently had a private lesson with Coach Brittany and she loved her! My daughter is a pretty shy kid, but Coach Brittany was very encouraging and made the whole experience FUN for her (important, cause she's an impatient 6 years old. Haha). She hasn't participated in a class yet but with my observation all the Coaches and staff seem to just have fun and are very patience with the students. Even Chasity (the gal at the front desk) was very friendly. Like other reviewers, I agree this is a non pressure place.... which just tells me that everyone here do what they do for the PASSION not the money :)) thank you kindly UFF. Very happy we found a great place close to home that really care about each and every student. The coaches work with each gymnast at their level.
