United Rock Nation raised me from the ground up.I learned most of my cheerleading skills and forever am grateful. I thought I would never leave that gym I considered it home and I considered the girls I cheered with family along with my coaches. That however changed as I grew older. No one will ever talk about it.They use to throw things at us when you did a bad job (shoes,clipboards) Or how about when they would tell you something regarding your weight. You are too skinny or you are
too fat but really they were just projecting their own problems onto us. We were literally not even teenagers yet.

After leaving this gym you realize something.. progression is not a good thing in their eyes it’s bad. The gym owners/ coaches don’t want your kids to get better. Why? Because they cannot offer better. They convince their kids and the parents there that they will be nothing outside of this gym. That everywhere else you are “just a number” and they will never know your name. It’s a lie.

I left this gym when I was a teenage. My family spent the better half of 10 years cheering for them and we were blocked on everything.. spoken horribly about in the gym for years to come. I know this because I was told on multiple occasions things that were said about us. A couple years after leaving I was able to win the Cheerleading Worlds on a level 6 team when my so called “family members” at United Rock Nation said I would be nothing. And my family wasn’t the only family to leave. The funny thing is we all fell back in love with cheerleading when we left. Some of us are still cheering to this day.

United Rock Nation is a horror story of a cheerleading gym. They make you seem special but you are not. They want your money they don’t care about the rest. Family doesn’t mean anything to them. Ask any other cheerleader/ cheer parent their thought on United Rock Nation as a gym. I can promise you they do not respect them. You can take other people’s words for it but in reality this is the truth from an athlete that use to call this place home. DONT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. All it does is cause problems for them in the future.

This gym is not it… the girls there have bad sportsmen ship…when they didn’t win summit, they posted on tik tok about the team that got 1st saying they didn’t deserve to win and that they “paid there way to 1st” they also said that the 1st place team copied their routine which is not true because my best friend goes to the first place team’s gym.

I have had a similar experience as mentioned below, and I am disappointed with the way they operated. It seems that they may have misled parents and caused kids to have their hopes up for nothing. I called in and was told they were still in the process of evaluating, only to find out later that they had already selected new members for the new season. They did not even have the courtesy to inform me that they had started the new season, just kept giving me the same vague excuse that they are "reviewing" and not being completely honest.

I brought both my daughters to this gym with 9+ years of previous cheerleading experience. We just finished our first season with URN and I am left COMPLETELY IMPRESSED with how this season ran.

In the beginning of the season EVERYONE was so welcoming. Including MOM, which if not for her, we wouldn’t have had 2 of the greatest coaches! (If you come to the gym, you’ll meet her. She’s humble, pure, and lovable.)

The gym as a whole provided our family with a true professional athletic experience. Even with prior knowledge of what the sport entails, this season alone felt like a complete olympic involvement.

In one year, my girls have evolved into serious athletes and anticipate practice every week even knowing that they are going to be pushed hard to achieve what the coaches are sure they can. The confidence these coaches, Shannon, Megan, Ernie, and Josh, have instilled in my girls is life changing and I am forever grateful. Speaking of these coaches, I am obsessed with the way they speak life into these girls. Albeit, they are very assertive, they get through to these girls making them feel unstoppable.

The parents are very outgoing and inclusive. They have a “nobody gets left behind” attitude and in my first season I have made so many great friends.

The staff, Ivy and Tanya amongst many others, are super helpful, attentive, and they answer your questions right away. They become family!

My only complaint is that I should have joined sooner. This gym is serious and professional, all while being a familial atmosphere. As you can tell by my profile pic, I am very proud to be a part of the family that rocks 🤘🏻!

United Rock Nation is The Best Cheer program in South Florida.Our coaches work countless hours for every single detail to be perfect. They mentor our children and teach them Respect, Team Work, Motivation, Love, Caring, Leadership, Encouragement, Responsibilities and Humbleness, Passion, Inspiration that will be qualities that will carry over to every aspect of their entire lives. The sense of belonging that is though by them is something unreplaceable, they make each and every child feel special and take the time to teach each of them as if it was their own. I can’t even begin to thank them for making my Yaz the person she is today and what she will become in adulthood.
Our Gym (that’s the way we call it) is more like a big family even though we are started as strangers. We get together when the children are practicing and come up with ideas to do for our next competition, we help each other carpool for practices; we share rooms, help with make up and hair when traveling ( I even learned how to do make up) for competition and also share laughter and tears. We have our Parent Prayer Group before every single competition.
Our children are growing together in the same environment and they can’t get enough of their friends (teammates) they ask every day if they have practice and get upset when they don’t. They want to stay after practice is over to be with the coaches and see the other’s teams practice. They are so excited to wear their Competition Uniform and are so confident and proud to say that they cheer for United Rock Nation. They cheer each other while at practice and also at competitions and they also console each other when something goes wrong does not matter what team you are on or if you are older or young they are all sisters and brothers. The love and connection between them is indescribable and it’s all because of what you have taught them.
You have made Me love and understand the true meaning of Team and Family. Today I can proudly say that my Yaz is a Cheerleader and she Cheers for United Rock Nation. I cant thank you enough for allowing her to grow and making all of her dreams achievable; cant thank you enough for teaching her that with hard work, discipline and dedication she can accomplish whatever she sets her mind to. I cant thank you enough for all you have done for her and for all this and more I will forever be in depth with you.
