Amazing gym with top-tier equipment and an even better personal trainer. Phil session's are focused, motivating, and tailored to my goals. You see results fast because the training is intentional and the environment pushes you to work. When I first started with Phil, I was weak, now my strength is at its peak. I absolutely love UST, it was exactly what I was looking for. They have private workout rooms with modern equipment, the facilities are clean and the payments were straightforward, with no complicated contracts or hidden charges. I trained with Phil for around 5 months and he is an amazing trainer. I've had the luxury of training/knowing several personal trainers throughout the years, as my best friend is the industry.
When I moved to Tampa, I was looking for a specific type of personal trainer...one that it wasn't simply just a "job"....one where the trainer lived and breathed their profession for years.
That's when I placed a call to Jared at UST after extensive research of trainers in the area and input from word of mouth.
Jared heard my goals, heard what kind of personal training I was used to and immediately said Phil is the person I need to work with.
Upon the first session, I was convinced Phil was the real deal and exactly what i've been looking for.
Phil exudes a sense of mastery immediately to the profession, and applies methodical time tested proven exercises and regiments so that his clients achieve the goals they set out to. His attention to detail and dedication makes a big difference when it comes to day to day training of his clients.
In the 2 months i've trained with Phil, i'm already seeing better results then with other trainers i've trained with for over 6 months. Best gym and training i've received so far and look forward to what Phil has in store to better shape and physique my body through his workout programs.

I have been training with Jared at UST for more than 12 years. I have worked out all my life and train on my own but I have always liked to include a trainer in my routine so I have someone who is always pushing/encouraging me and keeping my workouts fresh. I love that UST is personal and private - I’m not having to share equipment or wait on other people, I am in and out in either 30 or 45 minutes. It’s amazing what you can get done when a trainer is directing you and you don’t have to share equipment in a busy gym. UST is always clean, the staff are professional and friendly, and it’s so convenient. I love it!

Just finished week 6!!! 3x/week (45 min session) plus cardio 3-4x/week on my own. It’s been tough work but have felt supported and encouraged throughout by my excellent trainer!!! I’m down 2 inches and 6 pounds and can definitely feel/see muscle definition. Very pleased w/ the results. Definitely recommend this amazing studio and the trainers!!
6 month update: I’m down 17 pounds and have made significant gains in terms of muscle mass. Highly recommend UST & more importantly, my trainer Phil, for anyone wanting to make serious improvements to their body!!

I travel around for work 3 months at a time and was newer to personal training. My personal trainer Stephen was amazing. He helped me make some tremendous goals in just the few months I was there, started out with only using 10-15 lbs, left consistently using 30-40lbs with each dumbbell. He was also able to work around my crazy nurse schedule to make sure I was able to get in the days each week!

I was recommended to Stephen by a close friend about two months ago. From the first session, he’s been a stand out. The entire staff is friendly and inviting, but Stephen has become my partner in fitness. He understands his clients’ goals and motivates you to push yourself to be the best you can. He has single-handedly brought my fitness journey to the next level and has made me excited to reach new levels every week. Despite my (misguided) fear of weight lifting, I began seeing the results I had been striving for after just 7 sessions.

I started training at UST personal training in the first week of May 2021. I got in touch with Jared to see if he could help me with a transformation plan post the covid-19 lockdown and me not going to the gym. Jared then referred me to Steve who is one of the personal trainers here.
In my initial consultation with Steve, I expressed my goals and asked him how realistic they are to achieve. Steve then worked with me and noted all my injuries, asked me if I had a diet plan and what other workouts I am doing. Gave me a realistic timeline about what is achievable and what is not, and educated me on the process of reaching out my goals. Here are some numbers.
May 1st 2021 - Weight - 187 pounds, body weight percentage - 22%
October 2nd 2021 - Weight - 159 pounds, body weight percentage - 8%
Under Steve's guidance I saw consistent results. It has to be noted that during this transformation time, I also moved from one place to another which was pretty stressful, but Steve was patient with me, gave me the required motivation and helped me to not be too hard on myself.
Steve strategically advanced my strength training because I showed up with my previous injuries and I am pretty adamant that I do not want to give up on any flexibility I have during the process of strengthening and conditioning my muscles. Steve took into consideration my injuries, my goals, my other workouts, my diet plan and all other required factors.
I highly recommend Steve and UST personal training. Here, you will find true fitness coaches who will be the catalysts to turn your health and your fitness levels in the right direction and will be there to support you through out your journey.

I train with Jared.
He is an excellent trainer. When I started, he sat down with me and helped me figure out my goals. Since then, every exercise set we've done has been done with the plans of achieving those goals. His workouts are very intense, but it's never more than you can handle and he always adjusts on the fly to make things easier or harder based on how you're doing that day.
The 30 minute format makes this especially possible. I was doing 1 hour sessions with my last trainer, and I'd always wear out or slow down by the 35-40 minute mark. With Jared's 30 minute sessions, it's a lot easier to go all out for those 30 minutes and then you're done.
Beyond that, he is quite careful even in the COVID-19 era. He (at my request) wears a mask during all our workouts, and sanitizes all the equipment in between clients.
If you need a trainer to go to, Jared is your guy.

Ok so i told you I would be back to write another review after a few months. I recently obtained a career with Government to only find out they have personal trainers. Soooooooo I took it upon myself to try it out. OMG that 45 minute workout had NOTHING ON WHAT JARED GIVES ME. I CAN Actually say HE should be a very important person in your life if you are trying to achieve your gym goals.. HE is the only person I would give a check too for forming my body.
