I’ve been working with Skyler/ Vandiver Health and Fitness through his online app for a little over 5 months now and my results have been AMAZING 😇. I was 160 pounds at around 20-22% body fat with low muscle tone and barely any definition. In the 5 months with Skyler I’ve shedded pounds of body fat while growing lean muscle at the same time!

I started working out with Skyler in an attempt to add variation to my workouts during my first prep for bikini competitions. I learned more in the first two weeks about fitness and nutrition than I even knew was possible. To say you "work out", or "you are a trainer" is one thing, to actually understand your industry and your profession so much so that you are able to educate your clients, is another. I will be the first to admit, I don't mind just being told what to do and when to do it (less work for my brain) but actually understanding why I do things is a game changer and allows me to enjoy a little bit of flexibility with my schedule. Skyler doesn't just do things to do them and get them done, he genuinely cares about each and every client of his and that passion is unmatched in our area. I know I may be a little biased, but if you have the pleasure of working with him, you will understand what a privilege it is to get to work with him.

I have known Skyler for much of my life. He is blue collar and as down to earth as they come. Never hesitant to help with a seemingly endless knowledge of strength and conditioning, nutrition and fitness philosophies. Takes great pride in his brand and making sure everyone that walks in the door is given a fitness plan that is personal to your goals and lifestyle choices and that you understand every detail of how to execute it. Treats his customers with the loyalty and respect I have seen him do for so many others throughout his athletic career and graduate studies. You will be very hard pressed to find someone who cares more about your fitness and life as soon as you walk in the door than Skyler Vandiver.

Skyler is amazing. Every time I take his group fitness class I learn something new. I never feel intimidated or awkward. He is great at explaining how to use new equipment or familiar equipment in inventive ways to maximize results. I love that he incorporates diet into his exercise classes and how accessible he is for questions on anything even outside of class. Follow his Instagram and Snapchat to get motivated like I do, he responds quickly to all questions about technique, form, and diet! I can’t recommend him enough! Also, great for beginners or those with injury. He was able to modify my workouts for knee injury.

Stop!! Search for a health trainer no further!! Skyler at Vandiver Health and Fitness will motivate you to get healthier physically, mentally, and nutritionally, and he’s there for the long haul if that’s what it takes!! Discuss with Skyler what you want to achieve and he’ll get you on the right path to accomplish your health needs from proper nutrition to building muscle. This is my fourth year of training with Skyler and, believe me, I’m still being schooled by him every week with his upbeat attitude and always up to date physical and nutritional techniques to stay healthy and in shape. Do you want to go to a gym just to tell your friends you went? This is not the place... If your serious about maintaining your body for life, this is your guy!! I’ve been working with Skyler for a few years now. I had gotten bored with my gym routine, but was too intimidated to move on to something more challenging. Skyler has given me new motivation. He introduced me to weight lifting and I love it! He is very knowledgeable and very patient when teaching new exercises and correcting form. I reluctantly recommend him. The reason I’m reluctant is because I fear the more people who discover him means fewer appointment times for me.

I have been working out with Skyler consistently for almost 4 years now. I can say with certainty that he knows his stuff inside and out and is always reading up on new trends and studies in health and fitness. He is always motivating me to work outside of my comfort zone to reach new levels, milestones, and personal bests! I can honestly say that at 36 years old, I am the strongest that I’ve ever been and that it’s because of Skyler that I feel great, I like the way I look, and I have the energy and stamina to play with my 2 young sons.
Aside from his training skills, Skyler is a stand up human being and very easy to get along with. His facility is great, the equipment is new, and he offers one on one training, larger group sessions, as well as small group sessions. Skyler is very flexible with your schedule and always figures it out to get you in when you need a session.
I would highly recommend Skyler to anyone that is serious about feeling better and looking better, but needs that extra motivation to get there!

If you're looking for someone that knows the ins and outs of fitness, this is the guy to go to. He knows what you need to do to get where you want to be. He can also explain the science of the process to you as well. He knows his anatomy very well also. He has definitely done his homework and applied his education. It's good to speak to someone that knows more than me about TRUE Health and Fitness!
If you're looking for a small business owner that can give one on one attention to his clients, check him out. If you're just looking for a gym to go to where you can just lift weights without purpose, you may not like it here. He will ensure that you know why you are doing the workouts he recommended all the way down to what exact muscles you will be working and why you should be working them.
He also knows which workouts to avoid in order to prevent injury such as tearing of ligaments and damage to joints. I recommend 100 times over.
He even offered a system to keep me on a workout plan while I travel during the winter and he gets my supplements shipped to my door.
