We LOVE Wiseman Gymnastics!!!! My daughter has so much fun, and can't wait to go back every week. It's a fun way for my 5 year old to stay active and learn some new skills without the pressure of competitions.

It is a great sport for children, I am glad my little lady came, even if children don't go on to be professional it serves them with discipline and structure. It's nice having this establishment in Lake county as a choice for extracurricular activity.

Performance Based Class
The staff seemed nice but if your child is not already physically fit, coordinated and/or able to do certain things, this is not the place for you. My daughter, 5 years old, was asked not to return because "this isn't her sport." This is not an issue per se but it would have been nice to know beforehand. No, I do not think my child will be the next Mary Lou Retton, but she enjoys the activities provided by gymnastics and regardless of her ability to compete and win, learning new skills and challenging herself will help her develop physically and mentally.

That being said, the instructors seemed nice and this is to serve as more of an informational post. Additionally, prior to signing up for class, I did request a trial class--paying for one class to see how things went. This was not an option. So, when I did sign my daughter up, I had different expectations of the class. Perhaps letting people know what is expected will help alleviate confusion and hurt feelings. I know I was quite hurt to hear my child didn't have the right stuff to be allowed in their gymnastics class. Why set someone up to fail? If you have certain expectation, then you should be explicit about that.
