Money hungry, money hungry and money hungry. Be aware any other gym is better in my opinion. My HOA gym that has no equipment is better. Corporate need to take care of Hugo, as he seems to be dishonest and money driven. They kept charging me after cancelling multiple times. My cancellation was requested multiple times and they kept charging my account. When i put a block on them they made up charges and put a collection on my name in the amount of $300 i tried calling many times to fix the situation but they seemed to think they own all the power in the world. I tried calling the regional manager but she was a very rude, mean, and eccentric person. I reported this facility to the BBB and all correspondent consumer protection association. And after my complaints are closed I will be serving them a lawsuit personally for all the hassle and damages they caused. In my opinion a gym that is associated with a corporate brand should never behave with dishonesty because corporate in that case will be liable for their actions. And if I reach out to corporate and I do t get help then that’s a reason for me to sue. From the reviews it seems that it’s a pattern linked to the new owner of this gym ( that by the way I never attended, I used to go to the one by my house not this one ) but this branch is the one refusing to cancel and collecting for some reason.

Pre June 2025 I would have had nothing out of the ordinary to complain about this gym. But between previous and new management I would caution anyone joining to extensively review your contract before signing and assure you have all copies of communication. Joined 7/23. Finished 1 yr contract. Cancelled 1/25. Began being charged again 5/25. Took 4 days to get a hold of HUGO, new owner. Had to go in person to actually get ahold. All communications via phone, text, voicemail and FB were all ignored. I was told they had no proof of me coming in, no notes and that it just looked like previous management “cleared” my account charges for 3 months. Was told I had a $99 cx fee and that this would be waived in exchange for not refunding my May and June charges. When I refuted this I was told that I could not cx in person, that I had to do certified mail and that again still charges would not be refunded. Even though the cancellation lines HUGO is referring to are under the “month to month” part of contract, he would not allow me to come into gym to obtain a cancellation form and instead told me that “term” was checked off in my contract and I would need to follow that. This is one of the more unprofessional money grabbing schemes I have seen. I have cx through certified mail, refuted w/ bank and already getting calls from the new mgt “collections”

Theory is old mgt sold to new w/ inflated member numbers by putting people on a freeze and new mgt is desperate for money even though they know what happened.

Gym review: equipment occasionally broken. Sauna down for 1yr. Tons of teens. Difficulty getting. On equipment during hours of 5-10pm. Worse following new year resolutions. Overall had decent amount of equipment variation. Staff was fair, no issues there.

7/22/25 update- Spoke w/ Sonia @ corporate on 7/18/25 and she asked for email to be sent detailing events. On 7/22/25 after calling twice finally got Sonia on the phone and she stated that she spoke with owner Hugo and his support staff and that all discussions would need to go through them. CAUTION ANYONE TO SIGN REVIEW AND PAUSE BEFORE SIGNING ANY CONTRACTS WITH A FRANCHISE AND COORPORTATION WHO IS SO GREEDY FOR MONEY THAT THEY ARE STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS

I've been going to Workout Anytime Gym for a while now, and overall, it's been a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is super friendly, and the people who work out here create a really positive and motivating vibe.
The gym is clean, the equipment is in good shape, and it never feels too crowded — which I really appreciate. It’s a solid place to stay consistent with your fitness goals.
However, I do have to mention that the sauna is always out of order, which is a bit disappointing. It’s something I was really looking forward to using regularly. I hope this gets addressed soon because it would take the gym experience to the next level.
Still, if you’re looking for a solid, community-driven gym with a friendly team and a good setup, Workout Anytime is worth checking out!

I’m writing this review to share my experience in hopes that it helps others make an informed decision. I signed up for a membership at this gym, and although I initially appreciated having a local place to work out, I’ve had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with their billing and cancellation process.

I informed the staff well in advance that I wanted to cancel my membership. When I spoke to someone in person, I was told the system was down, but the employee took my name and number and assured me the cancellation would be processed promptly. Despite this, I was still charged for the following month.

I ended up having to contact my bank to stop further payments, which cost me an additional fee. To make matters worse, after the stop payment was placed, the gym charged my card directly—despite originally only having my bank account and routing number. This felt very dishonest and intentional.

Even after multiple attempts to cancel, they have continued to charge me. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like you’re being ignored and taken advantage of. I believe a business should make it easy and transparent for members to cancel if they choose to.

Additionally, while the facility appears clean at first glance, I found the overall quality to be below expectations.

Please be cautious if you decide to sign up. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both their cancellation process and customer service.

Great gym facility, exceptional sauna room with state of the art medical RedLED beauty lights; tremendous choice of free weights and exercise machines but probably my favorite part about this gym is the other patrons - absolutely the best bunch of folks who will always help you with the right way to do the exercises safely and efficiently as well as the courtesy I’ve seen there from everyone which really makes the place special. Was in the area vacationing & found 24/7, stopped in to see if they had a daily rate to provide my workout needs. Habeem was very welcoming & accommodating. Not only was the equipment everything I needed to stay on track with my fitness goals, I found the all staff giving great attention to the facility but cleaning & straightening up & most important to the members. Also, noted & loves seeing the different demographics in age, fitness levels, etc. Very diversed gym. I cancelled my membership and so did my wife. because clearly no one works there anymore. Anyone could walk in anytime and do anything and I don’t feel safe, and the gym equipment is always left dirty and so are the bathrooms and the massage chairs there’s always sweat all over it. The only time I was helped was by a young girl with black hair and a girl named Liz and they apologized for the inconvenience but other than that no one helps. And not to mention how the high end personal trainers don’t actually train u . I spent my hard earned money and there was no progress I don’t think this trainer knew what he was doing his name was Austin he scammed me out of my money saying that it would take me a year to get to where I need to go but another trainer told me 3 months. basically what a horrible trainer and what a horrible way to benefit off the old. They also give such a hard time when canceling, offering to freeze accounts when I just don’t feel like this gym is even worth the money. Planet fitness is better don’t waste your money and time here guys not worth it.

So I felt the need to update this review for those that are leery of connecting their checking account to a program like this. Over the last year, I’ve been getting charged after being told that my account there would be canceled. Ultimately that’s on me for not seeing it in my checking account sooner, but I also trusted that this would be taken care of and didn’t give it second thought.

In September 2023, I went into the gym and talked with them about canceling my account because I no longer needed it. I was told by an employee that the account would be canceled in December and would not continue to charge me in 2024.

In January 2024 I noticed that I had been charged and so I went into the facility to request that my account be immediately canceled and asked why it had not been canceled. They said that there was no note in their system, and they also said that because I had not canceled in December that my account would be charged for an additional three months. I told them that that was unacceptable, but I would accept that as long as my account was canceled in March. They assured me that it was going to be taken care of, and I trusted them on that.

Fast-forward to December and I noticed in the middle of the holiday spending season that I had a charge. It turns out that I have been getting charged every month.

I called and they did verify that I was “no longer a member with a contract.” so why was I getting charged monthly?

Prior to this battle and struggle, I would’ve told you that this was a great gym, because it is a great gym. However, because there is a contract and you have to link it to your bank account, I would caution you before accepting that commitment.

This gym is clean and has plenty of equipment and free weights. The staff is very involved in the daily operations. Also, it’s a 24 hour gym with late night or early morning access💪
