I have not found a gym that has everything I need for my fitness journey, but also has the kindest crew!! Being remembered for your routine makes this gym better than the rest, for sure. I really like that everyone is willing to help you learn new machines and how to best focus on certain areas. I recommend this gym to everyone, especially when most people I know work overnight and need somewhere open at all times.

My fiancé and I just joined this gym a little over a month ago and we love it! The staff here are very friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Jazzlyn signed us up and is such a pleasure to work with. She is so friendly and has been very helpful during our gym transition. The trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly and will answer any questions you have. The owner even came up to us one day seeing that we were new and introduced himself. Very hospitable, not to mention super affordable and they're open 24 hours. Can't beat that!!!

I do not recommend this gym for anyone who is serious into weightlifting. I am in town for a few months on business and needed a 24 hour gym. I have been a weightlifter all my life and am a bigger guy. I go to the gym, stay to myself, and do not bother anyone. I have been to A LOT of different gyms and have never had a single problem with any of them. The 24/7 gym in oak leaf however does not like weightlifters. I was made to feel singled out as the “big, scary, aggressive” guy and that is very far from the truth. Also as for the gym itself, every one of the barbells are bent. If you so much as drop one of the incredibly bent barbells on the ground, the owner will berate you about it. The gym is also VERY small and it takes quite a while for them to fix anything that breaks. The benches are so high off the ground that you feel like you will fall off of them and can’t use any type of leg drive during your lifts. They do not have an incline bench press, so the one squat rack is often taken up by people incline pressing and curling. There are much better gyms in the area. If you’re looking for a nice, non judgmental gym with a good owner and good equipment definitely look elsewhere. If you don’t believe me just scroll down and see all the bad reviews of previous people like I should have done before signing up.

Update: The owner has contacted me and generously offered to cancel my membership and waive the $31 fee for doing so as well as remove the $31 that I owe for the month of September for a membership I was told was canceled as long as I remove my negative review and provide proof of doing so. I guess there is still a miscommunication between workout anytime and myself. I received an email from the owner stating they would NEVER ask a member to contact the billing company to cancel and that if I wanted to cancel my membership I should have came in person to do so. Which is EXACTLY what I did. In January of this year. I was told by the employee at that time that I had to call the billing company to cancel and he wrote down their number on a business card and handed it to me. So, I did follow protocol for canceling and was instead given misinformation by an employee that I’m guessing wasn’t trained properly and here I am still trying to cancel. I spoke to the billing company on the phone again earlier this week. They sent me a link to cancel, but when I click on it, I get redirected and told that link doesn’t exist.
Generously giving one star because zero stars isn’t an option. I started a membership there solely for the purpose of using their tanning beds prior to my wedding in March of 2021. After my wedding I was lazy and didn’t cancel my membership for many months, which I blame on nobody but myself. Finally, around January of 2022 I tried to cancel my membership. I was told I had to call their billing company. I did and was told my membership was canceled. Five months later, I’m still getting charged. I called Workout Anytime multiple times trying to make contact with the manager (I was told her name was Des), she couldn’t be bothered to ever return my call, but she did eventually email me saying she canceled my membership. I responded asking her about a refund for the months since I was told it was originally canceled. She never responded. So now here we are, it’s almost October and I’m still getting charged every month. Workout anytime says I have to cancel through the billing company and the billing company says I have to cancel through Workout Anytime. So if you are considering joining this gym make sure you want to remain a member forever because that seems to be the only option. I’ve been paying for a monthly membership for a solid year and a half for one month of tanning and not sure I see an end in sight anytime soon.

I don’t have enough room to express how awesome this place is not only in my first 6 weeks I have lost several pounds and feel better overall. I even sleep better at night and don’t have some of the food cravings that I use to have. The staff here is great; they all take the time to help and answer any questions you have and the trainers are top notch much better than the gym that I went to back in Kansas City over two years ago. Attended the gym from 2018–summer 2019. My husband and I loved the gym. Friendly staff, always clean, everything you’d want from a gym. We “cancelled” our membership by writing a letter to the financial company twice (because they apparently didn’t receive it the first time) and then made sure it was completely closed out in person at the gym before we left town. Now June of 2020 and I’m getting calls from debt collectors saying I owe $200 for my WorkoutAnytime balance. Extremely frustrating since my husband and I haven’t attended that gym in over a year. Why is this an issue now and why wait till I’m $200 over to call? I feel like the gym is a major money scam.
After reading numerous of the same reviews about cancelling memberships the gym should really consider changing their policy.

I've been working out at this gym 4 months now. It's a great place to work out. The staff are alway nice and helpful. The gym is clean and the equipment is awesome. Now at times it can seem really busy, but never really a problem, and I personally think, that it seems that way, because it's a little smaller than alot of gyms. However, this gym has everything you need to do serious work. Also, all of the guest that i have seen, or met, are usually nice and courteous. The gym has a nice atmosphere about it. Seems to be going downhill over the past few months. Some of the equipment could use some maintenance or pad replacements. Could use a few more machines but does not have the space for them. Have heard several complaints about the bulbs in the tanning beds being the wrong ones. Spray and paper towels are almost always out leaving machines unwiped and dirty.

I wish I would've read into the reviews more, but I gave this place a try. The staff is okay, but the trainers have canceled my evaluation/ work out sessions several times already! I tried cancelling my membership due to me moving and it has been a nightmare. At the time of signing up I wasn't told about the hidden extra month you have to pay if you cancel. They don't call it a cancellation fee, but that some bull. Also, the guy (josh) told me that the annual fee would be charged after 45 days, but guess what y'all, the manager told me If I would've waited 5 more days they would've charged me; and I was only there for 2 weeks! Their membership agreement is in fine print on a small screen! If you decide going here anyways ask for a printed agreement! I trusted their explanation of the agreement, led me wrong.

And I know their going to respond, don't believe the lies. I would've gave it a ONE star, but staff do try to keep the place clean.

I have had similar difficulty if not more, as with most people, trying to cancel. I emailed the sales manager back in Oct., and mailed a letter...BUT then I was told via email almost a month later (from the same sales manager, Dan, from other bad reviews) that I had to cancel in person....I reviewed the contract...it says "in writing" not "in person". He saw his mistake so I sent a 2nd letter with the final payment and I was told by him that he got the letter but not the payment. The check was inside the same envelope. So I had to put a stop payment on the check. Now I was told that I can provide my card info by phone (why they didn't do that to begin with is mind boggling) but I fear providing my new card information to this place to make the payment. ALSO, I will be changing my checking account number since there is a check of mine floating around out there somewhere. The back and forth and the strange responses have been never-ending. I have been out of town and trying to get this done! I will most likely have to contact a lawyer again and call the Workout Anytime franchise.

Definitely worth the $10/mo membership fee for those looking for 24hr access to machine and cardio work. 24 hour access is rare, so points. Also the facility is clean and organized. Equipment is a little worn here and there, barbell knurling was worn but useable and supportive padding on several machines worn, but nothing uncomfortable or unsafe. However, only one squat rack and bench and limited room for any heavy/serious barbell work, or any non machine work due to limited floor space. There is a decent dumbbell selection with several adjustable benches. Personal pet peeves: overhead lighting directly above the bench means you’re staring into a bright light trying to find right hand position on the bar with worn knurling, I found the plates useable but odd (built in plastic handles I wouldn’t trust to drop), bench pad was super slippery, and just cramped in general with no real space for calisthenics or stretching/warmup/cooldown with several people finding room between equipment.

It's been 3 months since my last review. We were told we needed to write a letter with the reason why we canceling and send it in. During the contracted period of 1 year with the family plan everything was great. The problem happened after my contract had ended. When I saw that they had billed me for the next month I called to cancel my membership. Since this gym is normally a month to month gym, this shouldn't have been an issue. They informed me that i had to send a letter into another address to cancel my membership and that the extra billed month would not be credited. I mailed the letter in the very next day and thought that would be the end of it. I called almost a month later to make sure that they received my cancellation and they had nothing in their system. Dan (manager) at the argyle location had an attitude like it wasn't his problem and said I had to send in the cancellation with a certified letter. Sounds like a scam to just continue to bill people who have already tried to cancel.

For the most part I really like working out here because they are very nice but they changed the details of my contract and it kind of upset me and my wife. I pray extra so that I can bring anyone as many times as I want to and all of a sudden they said that you cannot bring the same person multiple times because of that I may consider joining a different gym. Really disappointed that they changed things up
