I have reached out to terminate my membership multiple times since July. I am active duty and moved, when I reached out in the summer I was given an email address, which I emailed. Heard nothing back, I called multiple times and was continually ignored, to include today (11/28) when I was ‘promised’ the manager would call me back. No call back. I called the corporate office and was assured my membership was cancelled, that was October. I had my card removed from the account. I filed for fraudulent charges with Wells Fargo and Anytime STILL didn’t respond. I now receive a notice $98 in membership fees will be sent to collection if I don’t pay. I have practically begged this organization to return my calls. Nothing.

This gym no longer Honors our local heroes! We have been out of the area and were looking forward to rejoining. When we did we were told that a totally different rate than we were charged. I when I went in today to question the charge I was told that they no longer give a discount to local heroes!!!! I was being charged the same amount as my husband as well! I said I want to cancel and he said I would be charged again in 29 days due to not having a 30 day notice of cancellation!!!! Really, you are a very shady business!!!!!

Update…. Our family is still using this gym everyday for the last 6 years and still loving it. The staff is amazing, the gym is always clean, there are plenty of machines and equipment… everything you need for a great workout. Don’t let any of the negative people leaving 1 star deter you, come see for yourself how great this gym and the people are. Best gym in town, hands down!

Still a great place to work out. I've been coming for years and yes it does get busy in there. Yes there's people who hang out on the machines instead of working out. Yes I've had to wait. All these are indicators that the gym is popular.

To the noobs who like to whine about the gym being overcrowded, there's a simple way to fix the issue. Tell the kids to use the machine or move. If someone's using a machine for a seat while they're on their phone, ask them how many texts they have left. Most everyone in that gym is cool enough where they'll apologize and let you have at it.

It has literally nothing to do with the owner or the people who work there. Those guys do not control the crowd nor should they. That place is in business to make money, and as soon as they start limiting occupancy, you'll be the first to complain that you couldn't get in when you wanted.

If they got a different billing company, I'd give them a sixth star

Always overcrowded and difficult to cancel membership. I followed their manager's instructions and emailed them back in November, but no one ever responded. When I called to follow up, I was told I had to come in and fill out a form in person. Even with military orders in hand, I was informed that I’d probably still be charged for another month because they were "too busy" with over 50 other cancellations. It’s frustrating and disappointing.

In 10+ years of avid lifting and being a member of multiple gyms across multiple states, I’ve never been to a gym that had such a lack of equipment for the number of members that utilize the gym at any given time. Unless you plan on working out in the middle of the night, there is not a time of day that you can go to the gym without having to wait to use a piece of equipment. And on more occasions than I can count, I have had to wait over 30min for a piece of equipment due to the poor gym etiquette displayed by a majority of members here. Whether it’s younger people constantly on their phones and not lifting or others socializing on/around popular machines, it is all but a guarantee that you won’t be able to quickly or efficiently get through your routine without having to wait. I’ve never been to a gym where it has been as much of an issue to get in, get your workout completed without waiting on others, and get out like it is here. If it were possible to open a well-equipped gym in the same area it would put this place out of business.

The gym is ok. Not really enough equipment to serve the number of members at peak times. Actually, I've been at this gym even not in peak times and had a very difficult time being able to use the equipment I planned to use. If you're the type to follow a pretty strict workout routine, then this gym is not for you. Very little leg equipment. The leg extension and leg curl machines, for example, are almost always taken. Only 1 pair of dumb bells per weight, i.e. 1 20lb pair, 1 25lb pair, etc. Most gyms I have trained at have at least 2. You can bet that some weight you intend to use is almost always taken or missing altogether. This gym, as a lot of gyms, also requires 30 days notice to end your membership. This means, you will be paying for an extra month no matter what, which is not right, because you already pay for the month in advance, not in rears. When I cancel virtually any other service, they end my membership that pay period, not the next period. This should really be illegal, but gyms often get away with this practice unfortunately. I found some of the equipment in need of repair on several occasions, sometimes, seemingly, indefinitely. For example, there's an elliptical that's been out of service for an extensive amount of time, probably months at least. There's zero excuse for that! Although, I often saw employees cleaning the gym floors, bathrooms, etc, they definitely don't clean the equipment well. I worked at a World Gym. We cleaned the equipment top to bottom. A lot of the equipment here I found to be pretty filthy even though you might not be touching some of those areas.

Decent gym with decent equipment but managed poorly. Doors don’t unlock with key fobs, no appreciation of customer loyalty, facilities cleaned once a day at busiest time of the morning, etc. If the area had another gym this one would be out of business.

TL;DR it's quite good for the price, but some things are due for upgrades to increase appeal.

Few things to say about the gym:
(Gym rats read) Sufficient for most fitness folks, but you'll be disappointed on the space available for deadlifts and also the lack of barbell equipment, only a few racks and one flat benchh.
Good selection of equipment but very densely packed, so not a ton of movement room at times, this does help with availability during busier times though. -- plenty of cardio equipment
Not a ton of room for stretching and it's a shared space for bands and other calisthenic exercises.
Obsessed people change the TVs to propaganda religiously. More variety would be nice.

UPDATE: a lot of equipment is aging roughly and I haven't seen any new benches or anything in a year or so ...

I’m not a fan of the layout. The equipment of course is fine, but everything is facing inward and your looking everyone else when mirrors are behind u????? Didn’t make sense especially when you need to look at yourself to make sure your should and legs are even and sitting correctly cause you may think you are and feel that you are inside, but without seeing yourself your feeling of even and actually being even isn’t always motivations a mirror!! Plus I hate watching someone in front of me lifting or working same machine. It was like a big circle and one inside that one and another one inside that one it makes a huge deal when you start seeing growth but more on one side then the other cause your not looking at yourself and your posture. It’s clean and nice employees but I like looking at myself and not directly into some other dude or woman’s eyes.

Excellent gym and friendly people, but corporate customer service is horrible. I've been overseas for several months, tried to cancel membership, had a 15-minute conversation with someone in a call center who could barely speak English, she put me through all sorts of account verification checks, only to be given a different number to cancel. Would have been happy just to put my account on hold until I return home, but this didn't seem to be an option on the customer portal.

I love this gym, the equipment is easy to use and there is alot to choose from, HOWEVER, I only gave 3 stars because there seems to be alot of people occupying equipment while talking or just hanging out, and not even using it. Today I waited over 20 minutes for 2 teenage boys to leave the leg curl machine. As soon as they left, someone else jumped on immediately and I didn't get to complete my workout today. People need to be reminded that this is a place of business, and there are some there making a serious effort to be healthy. Staff is scarce and keep to themselves, they are difficult to find and I'm not even sure who they are. Equipment needs a serious cleaning of dust and debris. They also need to limit vip members to one hydromassage a day. I was waiting for the one chair (the other has been broken for 3 weeks) and dude just kept entering his number, spending 30 minutes in it!

Been a member here for a while now and even though it's usually busy, there's seldom a wait for machines and always alternative exercises or equipment that can be used so my routine isn't too thrown off. This gym has all the equipment you could need (fairly new and in good shape too), things are well-kept and clean, the sanitation system is good (plenty of spray bottles and clean towels on offer at all times). The only complaint I have is the lack of "floor space" they need a bigger area to do crunches and other body-weight exercises. As this is one of the few gym options available in Niceville it is often very busy and the limited "floor space" is a problem.

When I first started going to the gym I really liked it. A lot of equipment and the focus was on being healthy. Unfortunately it’s like it’s turned into a tire garbage fire of a gym. . I was working out when I switch machines my phone was stolen and then I got it back because the girl who took it knew she couldn’t get away with getting it out the door but I didn’t think much of it so I moved on. When i open my bag that morning I realize several things were missing and although the cops did come to assist on the day of the incident the company, Workout Anytime, was not willing to provide any assistance whatsoever and showing the security tapes to law-enforcement or customers. I would highly recommend staying away from this gym because the staff is absolutely terrible. There’s an old blonde guy in there Who will not assist you in any way shape or form. Character assassination is ramped at this gym but I kind of like it personally because people are in this part of the country are pretty illiterate and fun to listen to. But when the officer initially asked me if I wanted to press charges I probably should have because I would hate for a place like any fitness to have one of their patriots get injured while on their property. We wouldn’t want some type of lawsuit.

I would rate this gym 3.5 for myself, but I am giving it a four because I think it’s probably perfect for other people. If you love clean gyms with lots of machines and cardio equipment, then this is your place. If you’re into powerlifting, strongman, etc, it isn’t bad, but could be better. There are definitely a few guys who move serious weight in this gym.

The good: there are two squat racks, one bench, a hex bar, and the owner and staff are very cool with you deadlifting wherever you can find room (there are even extra bars). The equipment is all pretty decent too, although the bars are a bit slick. The not as good: the gym is often crowded so you’ll sometimes have to wait to use a rack and definitely be waiting for the bench. The fact that there are several chest pressing machines and one bench can be pretty annoying when there are four people in line to use the bench. The staff and a few of the regulars can also sometimes be a little derogatory toward powerlifters. It’s not too bad or hostile, but I definitely didn’t feel welcomed, especially after the owner and one of the staff members lost their minds about some powerlifters using powder while the staff wasn’t in. They did specifically refer to them as powerlifters who were lifting more than they should be. In the staff's defense, the mystery powerlifters left a copious amount of powder on the floor.

The staff was nice enough, although most of them didn’t seem super enthusiastic to be there. The weekend kid was awesome and he kept the place really clean. Give him a raise. Most of the regulars are also pretty decent and I never had trouble finding a good spotter. The trainers seem to be a mixed bag. Some seemed really knowledgeable while others just had their clients do meme lifts. Brittany (I think) stood out as the most knowledgeable and she is a good lifter herself. Cheyenne also didn’t seem bad, but his main appeal will definitely be his ability to motivate. He is just a fun guy in general.

Blaine and his staff are awesome. He'll help you with any weight training, bodybuilding, or health question you can ask him, or he'll leave you alone if you just want to work out in peace. I've been going here for four years and have had nothing but positive experiences and made some good friends along the way. Their equipment is always maintained and functional, they have no BS rules about noise or free weights, and their military discounts are criminal. Despite the place's relatively small size, they have a respectable amount of squat racks, benches, and free weights as well as your expected cardio equipment and other machines. Two tanning booths and two water massage chairs are offered and though I've never used them, I see some people go to this gym just for those amenities alone.

I have belonged to this gym, for over two years, to improve my health, and maintain muscle mass, that I am losing due to aging. The place is clean, has plenty of equipment, and everyone is respectful and curteous. We all have to start somewhere, and this is a great place to start. No loud music, trainers if you request them, and a staff that truly cares. Even when it seems busy, people will make a place for you there. Come join the fun and reach your fitness goals. If I could rate zero stars I would. Went in with my friend to go as a guest, turns out the policies had changed and she wasn’t notified. That’s cool, the guy at the front desk suggested she could upgrade her membership for $14 a month, cool except then it turns into a contract. Even though none of the actual memberships online are listed as 1 year contracts. He then asked if I wanted to get a 1-year membership, so I proceeded to let him know it would be pointless of me to, since I’m moving to California. He THEN offers a $50 one month membership. Like dude I just said I’m moving ACROSS THE COUNTRY. Do you really think I’m here to spend $50?? No. So we decide to just walk out and I go on their website and see there are not only $15 a month- cancel anytime memberships, there’s also a free 7-day trial. You would think he would know enough about the company he works for to offer one or the other.
