Wow, this place is horrible. They won't let anyone from another location use the facility. So bad, I've filed a complaint with corporate here in Atlanta. Unacceptable.

As an update, I think it's worth noting that the owner's response to patron misbehavior is to burden behaving patrons, rather than staff additionionally, or take the time to review access logs and cameras for sanctioning poor club members. If even half of the WOAT franchise was run this way, the whole franchise would collapse, because it undermines the very premise of the business, which is actually incredible! Maybe corporate can help you, but you are hurting every owner in the network.

This is the worst Google rated franchise gym in Panama City. Planet fitness is 24hrs, and everyone loves it. This is one of the worst rated WOAT in the entire network. According to the owner, the problem is just the particular people in PC that happen to choose WOAT over the other gyms.

Misleading Practices, Hidden Fees, and Refusal to Cancel Honestly

I signed up at Workout Anytime because they explicitly told us there were no annual fees — in fact, they proudly claimed to be one of the only gyms in the area that doesn’t charge an annual fee. We were told our signature was only to authorize monthly payments, and no paper contract or fee disclosures were shown to us at the time of signing.

Later, we were surprised by a $106 annual fee that we never agreed to or were told about. We later found out they had used our signatures on a contract we had never seen, and then claimed they had "emailed it after the fact" — which is not how legal disclosures or consent work.

When we called on May 17, 2025, to request a cancellation and refund of the fee, the staff member Evan refused to cancel the membership over the phone. He said the owner would call us and that we'd be emailed a form to cancel ourselves — even though we had never been told of this process when we signed up.

Their actions violate Florida law (Statute § 501.017) which requires full written disclosures at the time of contract. We have since reported the issue to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and filed a credit card dispute for the unauthorized charge.

If you’re thinking about joining — ask for everything in writing before you sign anything. Better yet, find a gym that respects your rights and doesn't rely on misleading practices.

Been a member for half a year. Good facility and Seth is awesome! Staff is friendly.

This past weekend has been awful. Friday, Saturday and Sunday could not get into the gym after hrs. Called multiple times and couldn't get anyone on the phone. Took till Monday before anyone called and was told the app was messing up but they were working on it. Went up and tried getting a physical card, in case this happens again and was going to be charged almost $6.

A weekend of not being able to use due to a problem they had with the app and then charging for an inch of plastic is in bad form.

This place has the worst billing and customer service. You have to jump through so many hurdles to get any billing information. No one is ever able to help you with any information and you have to be in person to have anything done. And the cancellation process is asinine. Would highly recommend joining another better GYM

I'm a member at another location, came from out of town for a couple of days and was able to get a good workout and keep my routine going even when traveling.

They had a seated leg curl machine and I would swap the lying leg curl at my local WOA with one like that any day.

I have been a workout anytime member for 6 years.. I have seen staff come and go, but I am extremely impressed with the current staff Sarah and Seth. I am always greeted with a smile, and how are you doing Ms AnnMarie!? The gym has a relaxed family atmosphere… there are a lot of laughs to be heard.
A staff member is always cleaning and making sure the gym is tidy. The bathrooms are extremely clean and smell good!!
I would recommend this gym to EVERYONE!

This is not a gym but a fitness facility. If you want a Jane Fonda workout then this is the place!

A gym has a squat rack. Owner, Chris said they would get one just to get me to sign up and never followed through. Wonder how many times he promised this to other's? After Six years the owner finally commented. A total joke he is and the gym as well!
Went to Fitness 360 on Middle Bch Rd. Def a real gym and never looked back. When requesting new equipment Joe, the owner delivers!

I love this gym! I met my best friend here years ago and many other friendly people through the years. I admit that I did leave temporarily for a gym with classes, but quickly came back because I missed the "family" atmosphere and the warm welcoming every time I walked in from Sarah and Seth. For a small gym, which makes it easier to meet new people, even if they are just visiting, they have a great assortment of equipment that is maintained regularly. This is also the cleanest gym that I have ever been to. Sarah, with her vibrant personality, is constantly cleaning equipment, mirrors, windows and vacuuming the floor. So I'll continue to work out here for a good workout and happy friendly people!

Very difficult to cancel your membership as other reviews state. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times through email and phone. They aren’t willing to communicate with you at all. As you can tell from their responses to unhappy reviews, this place is very unprofessional. And the gym isn’t impressive either.

Regarding your response, no it was never “explained multiple times”. I never heard back after emailing and calling several times. This was prior to it being sent to collections. Don’t understand all the negative comments here. My wife and I have not encountered any of the issues people have said. We are not locals and have access to the gym anytime. There is ample equipment for our needs and the staff is very friendly. They also do a great job of keeping the gym clean. We will definitely keep coming back. Over the last 10 years the gym has not gotten any not improved.
- to cancel your membership, you have to use a third party website. Create an account and then pay for an extra month.
- the website is super glitchy.
- I had to create an account multiple times and then the password still didn't work. I went inside and had the representative. It took him over 30 minutes to create an account that would actually log in.
- then it charge my card in multiple times before finally processing the payment.

I have been a member for almost 10 years, I have never had any issues of getting into a gym. This morning I wasted my time driving over just to not have access to the gym. If there is behavioral issues with members, then ban them. There is zero advertisement online, stating any issues this gym is having so hiding those issues until a member shows up to the gym, is unacceptable. I am an out of state member which means I fall under the “behavioral issues” members, according to the piece of paper on the gym door. I’m also 29 years old, just wanted a workout was all.

They only allow locals to use the gym. No body honestly cares that you let remote members use it during staffed hours. It’s called workout ANYTIME not workout on the OWNERS time. Never have a heard or seen such highway robbery I pay for a national membership and now because ur staff refuses to do there Jon and ban people I have to buy a additional membership for ur gym down here. Poor management experience, unfriendly front desk agents (one of which had no idea what the guest policy was and told me I couldn't come in when I paid $5 to come in the day before), faulty bathroom sink, toilet paper laying around the locker area. Called to cancel my account over a year ago, tried again a few months later. Never even used the facility. They continued to bill my credit card, eventually turned my account over to collections when credit card expired. Called collections office and they said I had to send a physical letter to cancel membership…never got a callback from workout anytime after the two phone calls I made to cancel. Was told when I signed up I could cancel at anytime but was not told I had to write a letter to do so. The fact that they billed my credit card for over a year after a the initial call is bad enough but now I feel like I’m being scammed for an additional 129.00. Workout Anytime consider this as my written letter of cancellation.

You are correct that I texted your billing company to stop texting as I h and to cancel my membership that should have been cancelled. Never received any informatoon on a cancel portal and have searched your website to no avail. I don’t believe anything I stated was false. I am very disappointed with this gym. I have been a member for 6 months and rarely bring in guests. On workout any time’s website, it specifically states that they accept guests during regular hours. On a Sunday, I went in with a guest and was refused entry because they were not a local or had a membership. They offered a 60.00 day membership when the monthly membership is only 35 premium a month. My guest had to then purchase a membership for the hour we were there. I did not respect the lack of flexibility or understanding the front desk worker had or gave.

This place is GREAT...spent the last 3 months in PCB and this gym and its staff could not have been better. Monica, the owner and Sarah the longtime manger are both amazing. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about these ladies and the gym they operate.

Some of the other reviews claim this gym is not clean...DO NOT believe it...they are constantly cleaning floors, walls, bathrooms and the equipment.

This is not a huge place but there are plenty of machines, free-weights and equipment to get in whatever workout you are looking for. If a friendly staff and a clean gym are what you want this is your place. We are planning to return to PCB next year and can't wait to renew our membership!

I signed up for a year and was promised a free session with a personal trainer to get me started with a good, solid workout plan/routine. I tried to schedule several times. One call, the trainer acted upset that I dared to bother them. I finally got it booked but it was rescheduled several times then eventually canceled. I didn’t know how to use anything but the treadmill, so I ended up canceling the membership.

Extremely disappointed. I am a visiting woat member and upon arrival at 5am I found out my key card doesn’t work due to “remote members” only being able to use the gym during staffed hours. The only solution I was offered was to pay for a week’s membership at a gym I’m already a member of. This is a huge inconvenience for my family during our vacation. I joined this gym a little more than a month ago. I waited to give a review so I could give an honest review. I have been joining gyms for over 30 years and this is by far the cleanest gym I have ever belonged to.
I find the owners to be polite, friendly and professional. Sarah, who monitors the gym on most days I attend, is such a burst of sunshine and joy. This gym is more than adequately equipped for your typical person.

I personally think satisfied customers don't post reviews as often as people who feel they have had a negative experience. As I read some of the reviews I am personally glad that individual is no longer in the gym. I respect and appreciate owners/managers who will address negative actions of members so they do not impact others.

Joined this gym to use the stair stepper and the first day I went in it was out of order . I asked when it would be fixed and they did not have a date . I called back two days later and said if they did not know when it would be fixed I would need to cancel my membership. The owners wife called me and belittled me saying she couldn’t believe I would cancel over the equipment not working . Then she hung up on me . I sent my fiancé in to cancel because I was upset that she was extremely rude . They gave him the run around / we did everything they said . We went online and there was no way to cancel . My fiancé went back in and the owner got in his face and tried to punch him . WE called the police. WE can and could press charges and WE did not . He was not physically removed . You have cameras and can see he was assaulted. The police officer said that the owner said I was canceled
But how is my membership canceled when i did not fill out any paperwork, the online cancellation did not go thru and I do not have any confirmation of it . Please avoid this gym at all costs. I have never encountered such insanity over wanting to cancel a membership. I never even asked for my money back . Poor customer service , poor management.

To cancel your membership you cannot simply go in and cancel and you can't just cancel online. You have to tell them you want to cancel, They then send you and email and you have to create an online account, then enter your credit card and then it allows you to request to cancel. Oh and you have to give them 30 days notice. So if your billing is on the 6th of the month and you want to cancel on the 7th, guess what.. you now have to pay for TWO more months.

These jokers sent me to collections on a no contract membership auto payment two years after I moved. I left PCB after Hurricane Micheal in 2018. They waited 2 years to send a measly $133 dollar collection for a no contract membership? Still not sure what the $133 is for. Military/Veteran friendly? How many Active Duty Soldiers did they hit with this $133 after a PCS? Garbage business sense, could have cleared it up with a phone call.

Friendly staff( to friendly) as long as you don't want to hear what all comes in the "contract". Clean and sanitized equipment(if you clean it yourself). Have to beg someone to clean tanning bed. The "contract" is life long. Better have a good amount of money in your account. No, the start up is not the payment. And it changes as the days go. You will just see it on your bank statement. Me and a few of my Air Force buddies were in PCB to work for about a month. We all purchased one month memberships. The gym was great. While on the smaller side, it had everything we needed. So I’m visiting Panama City Beach for a week get a way. I sign up for a week membership the owner says I’ll give you a month for $45 I was cool with it.

I have been training for 15 years and in and out of gyms all my life.

So after a week of working out no problem the owner comes up to me and says a lot of regular members are complaining you are not wiping down and spraying the equipment.

Not one thing in anything I signed stated I need to wipe down the equipment after each use.

Trust me I understand sanitation and of you are sweaty be respectful but if you are warming up or superseting exercises this is excessive.

Needless to say I asked who has been telling on me so I can see what the issue is and address it accordingly

The owner asks me to come into his office and try to talk to me like a kid I asked very politely to cancel my membership and issue me a credit or refund for the time I did not use.

He refused so I walked out calling my Bank to see what I can do.

Had to get a workout in while on vacation. The place was clean and equipment in good shape I had an issue with my membership due to a problem with my home gym in which the owners talked with me and let me workout and pay a fee. I would recommend this gym myself and look forward to visiting again when I'm back. Nice place

You were not the one who signed me up as I had never met you face to face. The guy who signed me up was in the military and you said he left after that week. I never spoke to you, so all that you say below is a lie. You never told me any of the specifics and neither did he. Horrible, and I do mean horrible, experience.

I signed up at this club during early August on
vacation. I was informed that my membership would be able to work at the workout anytime back home with the same access. I have had tons of trouble with this and have had to make 3 phone calls now to sort this out. I was not aware of a “rate fee guarantee” charge as I clarified with the employee who signed me up that the initial start up fees were all that I would pay over the monthly fee. This was incorrect and false information. As I have read with several other comments on here, this is a very untrustworthy business. Please stay away from here. You will regret signing up if you do. I also tried to cancel my membership and they want to route it through an online process, which is obviously a lot more hassle than it should be. Who has time to login to wait for an email then login and cancel and then wait for the confirmation when I should be able to make a 2 minute phone call and cancel my membership. Very shady business practices. I own my own business, and this is NOT the way you treat customers.

I live in atlanta ga, but we have a vacation home here in Panama City Beach, I love to exercise, I can't live without the gym, searching on the internet I found this wonderful place, which I can tell you is very professional, very clean , and the staff not to mention, very professional people and always ready to help you with any questions you may have, I have named it my vacation Gym I highly recommend it

Enjoyed myself nothing is perfect as in anything in life. I don't even give myself a 5 star. The only 5star is the man above. But only think that you could do is upgrade the pad on curl bar machine. Also get the soft jump box for a clutst like myself. But staff was very nice and friendly. Thanks for letting me workout there.

I sent a registered letter to cancel my membership in April 2020. This was never picked up, and returned to me. I then taped a copy to the door of the business and thought they canceled my membership. I found out today that they have still been charging me. I called and they sent me to a link that wants another payment to cancel. The owner of this business is misleading and unethical, as I have been trying to cancel since April. In April you had to send a registered letter. Very convenient to not pick it up. Total thumbs down on honesty.

If I could I would not give them even one star rating they are not professional at all. I have now tried to cancel our membership 2 times since the virus and they will not can so I keep getting a past due balance which they claim you have to have the balance current to cancel. When we signed up with them they did not say anything about that they said we could cancel at anytime we need to and due to us not going due to the increase cases here in bay county they will not help us out with the balance or just cancel our membership. Now because the "owner" Larry will not help us our I am going to have to take more acting and get this taken care of which he will not like because I am not going to have this bill hit my credit due to the covid.

Equipment and bathroom facilities are very clean and well maintained.Great selection of cardio and free weights,seldom is there a wait for any piece of equipment. A good diverse group of members young to retirement age,all very congenial and respectful of others.covid precautions excellent.

Well my experience was great up until the point I had to get ready for a deployment for job. I brought the necessary things into the gym like normal to show proof. Did the cancellation process and thought I was good. Here we are in june still being and they tell me there’s nothing to be done about he money that has been taken and guess what I Called couple weeks ago and the said they cancel. Ooo I get charged again. Don’t hang a flag up in your facility if you say you support Troops and vets. False advertising

Sometimes it is crowded, but any decent gym will be. It isn’t enough to prevent me from doing what I need to. Men bathroom/locker room is good. Amount of various equipment is good. Hydro massage is surprisingly awesome. The members and staff keep to them selves for the most part (the way I like it) and are courteous.

After Hurricane I had to relocate and needed to cancel my membership and have called multiple times and just find it simply impossible to cancel membership through the email process of cancellation so I’ve continued paying for past year and a half even though I cannot use anymore and it needs to be an easier process!!

Visited this place while on vacation. Was exactly what I was looking for. Management was very accommodating and facility was nice. $10 for 1 day pass better deals on a week I think. Open at 9 AM for non members.

Please trust all the 1 star reviews. This gym is the worst! The manager Chad will act as if he's your friend, then he will believe a member that you don't see eye-to-eye with, instead of hearing your side of the story. And to add insult to injury, he will call the cops on you if you show up at the gym instead of contacting you directly, to tell you he banned you. The cops said that "the manager doesn't want you here," after I walked out of the restroom Tuesday morning. It was highly embarrassing. He could have contacted me himself. Eddie was there and he should have asked me to leave and I would have left to avoid the cops. I didn't have anything to hide, so I complied with the police. One of the cops agreed that Chad is a chicken, too. By the way, the staff member responding to all of these 1 star reviews doesn't take any responsibility at all and their toilet always is broken and they keep the other bathroom locked and only staff can use it, even when the bathroom is down. I'm going to be talking to an attorney soon about all of this.

Can not get past going up in the helicopter between the workouts and visiting shimmering seas jewelry and Olivia and her husband are great. Can’t believe how awesome John and his wife’s kindness we’re.
