Gym is absolutely tiny. Crowded no real room to workout! 20.00 a month looks great but your sanity goes out the window with the space and smell. Machines always down. Management is non existent. You have to pay 70.00 a month to do anything extra but if your friends with the young staff there they will allow you to do whatever you want. Terrible gym all around. Workout somewhere else

Hardest place to cancel with. Message online 2 times beginning of November. No answer. Called and was told to send in writing. So sent letter. Halfway thru Dec and they don't get paid all of a sudden 5 phone calls. Filled out the cancel form they finally provide and now it won't cancel due to past balance and no 30 day notification. This gym and staff are a crooked joke. The women's room is never clean. Don't even consider a shower there. The lockers are filled with dust. The second toilet has been broke over a year until very recently. It's always hot which medical speaking make me unable to workout in there half the time. I'm gonna stick with planet fitness which is worth the 20 a month.

You get what you pay for. This seems to be the red headed step child of the 9th ave. gym. Run down equipment, not managed well at all. With decent manager and better equipment, this gym has the potential to be the best one in town. Seems like the owner doesn’t care about this location.

Edit: Removing a star because the cancellation process is a pain. Maybe you are never ever suppose to cancel a gym membership idk. I use a gym offered through my work now so I don't need this membership anymore. To call some random number to have them send you a form via email then return it and finally cancel over the course of 30 days just seems to be a bit much. Otherwise, it still is a nice gym, and the people are great. Idk how packed it is anymore since I quit going so don't let my initial review deter you.

Terrible customer service, dirty equipment, ridiculous billing system that charges maintenance fees and other surprise fees. The “extras” like the salt booth are only available during limited hours and often not even working.
I was walking on one of the treadmills when it suddenly stopped (very dangerous). No staff there to even address the issues.
Do yourself a favor and use a different gym.

Joined the gym so my son could go. He doesn’t like it anymore so now it’s time to cancel after a year. The process to cancel is so cumbersome. I had a membership a few years back and don’t remember it being this hard to cancel. I think I went in and told them to cancel and they did. Easy peasy. Now you have to call a number and they have to call you back. Then you talk to someone to tell you they have to email a form for you to fill out and email back and then it should be canceled. 🤦🏻‍♂️ 2 stars because my son he liked the gym but getting to crowded otherwise 1 star just because of the cancellation process.

I would like to know why I cancelled my membership at Real Time Fitness before they closed and a month or so after they closed World Gym charged me $23.60 for a membership? I have never been in your facility and I called last week and left a message stating that you have illegally charged me and no one has returned my call OR refunded my money. Is this how you do business? You get MY debit card info and no one contacted me and you billed me and I've never even been in the place? You need to refund my money or I'm contacting the BBB and an attorney because NO ONE gave you permission to charge my account!

Update, they claimed they emailed me and they NEVER had my email address because Real Time never had it. And surprise surprise they never gave me a refund of the money that they STOLE from me! Thieves!

This gym is a scandal, tried to cancel and they charge me for 2 additional months following the reopening after covid. I tried contacting them and talked to one lady who was very rude and should not be allowed to talk to customers. Then I talked to another lady that said she would make everything right since I have been going to this gym for 4+ years. Instead she acted nice on the phone and then sent me to collections, just some shady business if you ask me. Not to mention the smell is horrid, the building is decaying, and lack of AC is just unacceptable in this heat. I highly recconend you find another gym before settling for this one.

It's a cross between old school gym and fitness center. Equipment is fair at best, undoubtedly main World Gym hand me downs. Returning from Covid-19; more bottles to sanitize, more towels, but not much else. Hand dryer in men's restroom does not work and no paper towels, soap is hit and miss as well as floors are frequently dirty. However, you get what you pay for and for basic membership it's $10 a month.

Been there a year. Solid four stars. It's a great no-frills gym that offers a good value for money proposition. There is a surprising variety of clientelle too, from swolys to farm stronk types, to cardio ladies and even some women who are throwing heavy weight. I've found most all to be very friendly and totally willing to share equipment or spot. Lots of treads, ellipticals and pedal machines. Some of the equipment is dated but the owner and staff do a good job looking after it and keeping it running.
