Justin is exceptionally knowledgeable and welcoming. This was my first breath work class and it really helped me overcome stress and put me better in tune with my body. The sound bath at the end of class left me feeling renewed and revitalized, I would absolutely recommend you come in even if you’re a new student like myself!

I’ve always been intrigued by the thought of a sound bath, since I saw Honda Kotbe attend one on the Today show. I was finally able to attend, and it was a day I truly needed clarity, calm, and a break from the noise of life. When I walked in, I felt at ease. Justin has an innate gift for what he does, his depth of knowledge and experience is immediately evident. He was able to help me quiet my mind through sound and an amazing vibrating mat. He had a wide array of instruments, which added to the richness and depth of the symphonic journey. It was the perfect mental vacation. As a single mom going through a difficult time, I was so grateful for the space, time, and expertise for this moment of pure self care. More people in Tampa need to know how special this place and Justin are!

One of the best public Yoga classes I’ve ever taken (I’ve had a asana practice for 22 years and been teaching for 15).
First of all, a 90 minute class! Thank goodness. Plenty of time to get warm, have fun, and still time to cool down and chill.
Justin’s instruction was precise, insightful, and kind. Incorporation of anatomy explanations were wonderful. Prop use was extensive but not annoying or distracting, which is impressive in and of itself : )
And the cherry on top was how kind all the other students, obviously regulars, were.

Ybor Restore Yoga & More is a Tampa gem, so aptly named for RESTORING the body and offering MORE than many traditional yoga classes. While I appreciate many forms of yoga, I particularly enjoy the Fascia Release Yoga classes offered at this studio. With the unique yoga wall and a multitude of available straps and props, we are able to surrender into deeper poses and incorporate traction for lengthening. Justin has an impressive depth of knowledge of body mechanics from his experience in physical therapy, massage and yoga. He instinctively knows how to get us into a variety of positions safely and make modifications to maximize benefit. No two classes are the same except for the fluid feeling I achieve after attending his classes. I also appreciate the facial release exercises we do all over our bodies to allow more release and mobility, a critical practice for vitality and movement which can often be neglected. As someone who always seems to feel generalized soreness or tightness from daily living and playing tennis, I really need this class! Everyone can benefit from this practice. To me, shavasana is the dessert at the end a great yoga class. Justin offers his students a generous amount of time to chill and has been incorporating a variety of healing sounds from chimes, bowls, gongs and handpan.
When I travel, I am always searching for a yoga class but honestly this place is so special, I am thankful to have this studio so close to home. It’s a treat for the body, mind and soul. Thank you.

I’ve had previous low back/lumbar spine issues from a car accident, so anytime I can do a workout that keeps my sexy spine healthy, I am all about it. I first visited Ybor Restore Yoga a few months back for a Restorative Yoga class series, so I knew I would enjoy taking regular classes there and I did!
I just left my first Healthy Back Yoga Wall class with Justin and I feel magnificent! My back feels so stretched and my entire body feels open and limber. Justin is a patient and caring instructor and you can tell he has such a great knowledge of the human body and spirit! He leads the class with such joy and a great sense of humor. It was such an enjoyable experience for anyone - even if you think yoga ain’t your thing. Do yourself and your body a favor and go get on the Yoga Wall!

I finally made it to try out the great yoga wall. What a fantastic studio and instruction. A big plus that there is ample parking. The studio space is beautiful and the class was so unique and unlike any other here in Tampa. I have been doing yoga for over 20 years and this studio is bringing something very new to the yoga arena. I will be a regular.

Really transformative combination of yoga and physical therapy. Focus on alignment and removing physical blockades to growth, but also nourishing and removing emotional blockades. Yoga wall provides a unique combination of both support and novel challenges for a practice experience that stretched me in so many ways. I’m so grateful for this studio!

I took advantage of the 30-day unlimited package for new customers. At the time of this review, I am about a day away from the end of the 30 days. I would definitely continue to attend classes here!
I have been practicing yoga for about 5 years now, and recently moved to Tampa. This place was pretty close to my new home, so I decided to try it out.
So far I have taken classes with Justin and Dale - both are amazing teachers that are genuinely concerned in making sure you have the right posture and that you are practicing yoga safely. Classes have ranged from relaxing and restoring to reasonably challenging and heat-generating. There are also a good amount of evening and weekend classes that are ideal for those with an M-F 9-5 work schedule like me.
Justin also leads a queer yoga class every Friday evening, which is a welcoming environment for members of the queer community. It is for all levels, and Justin is very accommodating to newbies.
The yoga wall is something I've never really experienced before. It is used as a way to support you in certain poses, and the teachers do ensure that you are using the wall safely.
Overall, I would highly recommend getting the 30-day unlimited package so you can try this studio out, and hopefully, like me, you'll continue to come back after the trial period!

Healthy aging! The Great Yoga Wall is like an adult jungle gym which makes strength training and flexibility fun. My core is stronger, my posture corrected, and my muscles tone. Thank you Justin for bringing this amazing dimension to my yoga practice.

Great new yoga place! The studio takes an alignment/restorative approach to yoga and the owner has a PT background that gets incorprated into classes.
I've taken classes with Justin, Johnnie, David, and Louise and would recommend them all! Especially enjoy the wall yoga, friday restorative, and fascia release classes.
Its technically in Ybor but the studio has a private lot on the side street so parking is never an issue.
If nothing else, you gotta at least try yoga on the wall!

I live in NYC and stumble upon Ybor Restore studio during a family visit. It is conveniently located between River Walk area and Ybor City (I walked from my sister's place). The studio is cozy and inviting, the great wall is on one side and mirror on the other with high ceilings. I am a dancer and Yoga instructor and Lianne's Somatic Movement class called my attention. I had a blast. She was very welcoming, engaging, fun and very knowledgeable. If you are into Yoga, I highly recommend you explore the benefits of movement and dancing beyond the mat. :) I will definitely go back when I return to Tampa!
