I attended my first hot yoga class last Saturday, and it was absolutely amazing. I’ve never experienced such an incredible workout combined with such deep mindfulness. The heat made me sweat like never before, but it felt cleansing and invigorating. I left feeling refreshed, light, and grounded.

What made it even more special was the emotional release I had at the end. As the instructor guided us through the closing meditation, she spoke about opening ourselves to new beginnings. That message really resonated with me, especially as I’m going through a major life transition and divorce. In that moment, I felt completely connected to the instructor, to the energy of the class, and to myself. It was a true cathartic experience, and I can’t wait to go back.

Let me explain the diversity and intensity of Kathie’s classes.

She is pure GOLD.

She has such a way of exercising the body like nobody I’ve ever trained with. There’s not been one duplicated class or exercise in the past 6 months I have been coming to her other than your fundamental basics for warm up.

She makes you work for every crunch, reach, stretch and more. She assists and is hands on (if you want it) for deeper work. She will not let you give up. She will come over and make you show up for yourself. You leave here exhausted (in a good way!)

I cannot rave about Kathie and her classes. I have done her hot mat Pilates, the pit flow and pit 45 strength. I have religiously tried to make 2-3 classes a week with Kathie and I can see my body improving with the work I’m putting in for myself.

The staff is always pleasant, friendly and helpful.

I drove from Coconut Creek to take this class on my lunch break. As a single mama, my gym time is VERY precious and time to better myself exclusively. If you want to be CHALLENGED, get an AMAZING workout in and have an instructor who is an expert on form and doing the movements properly and most effectively, TAKE KATHIE’S class! Updated to 1 star bc I find the owner or whomever responds to these reviews so aggressive for a yogi. If it is the same person I spoke with on the phone trying to get a refund she is very rude and a little bit of a fibber.

I took a class with Sasha at the Ft. Lauderdale studio and signed up for a workshop in Weston on inversions. I could not make the workshop and spoke with someone who said they could just credit me so I could attend the next inversions class. In the meantime I tried to sign up for a pricey monthly membership and quickly realized it was not worth it. I had to deal with someone named Veronica who took almost a week between responses. She was pretty passive aggressive ion her emails where she'd be rude and then follow it up with a happy face emoji. I realized that attempting to reschedule my class with Veronica at Yoga Factory and Fitness would take an act of congress so I gave up. $35 is not worth my piece of mind. I joined Sacred Form yoga instead.

I attended Yoga Factory and really enjoyed one of Mollys classes. When they removed Mollys classes from ClassPass, and they did because her classes were the only ones not offered on ClassPass, I considered signing up for a membership to continue attending hers class and to try out other instructors. However, after reading reviews of the studio’s packages, I was disappointed by how the company handled client concerns. Their responses came across as unprofessional, petty, and far from the values yoga is meant to embody. Because of this, I’ve decided not to sign up for a membership.

Would give zero stars if I could. While the classes and instructors are great the management is money hungry and unprofessional. First off I was swindled into a membership bc I was told they would no longer be on class pass which is false. I went in to cancel my membership and was told it's too close to the date they're going to charge me so I'd have to pay for the following month then cancel the next month after. LOL the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Their team emailed me accusing me of canceling my card so I can't pay them when in reality I had reported fraud the week before unrelated so that card is garbage. Veronica keeps emailing me trying to argue back n forth with me in the most passive aggressive way trying to make a point and it just makes the business look desperate and unprofessional. You can just lock my account and keep it moving but she insisted on arguing/debating the issue and accusing me of something completely untrue. Never thought I'd say I'm happy I had a fraudulent charge that locked my old card bc I would never give a penny to this place again. And based off how she responds to other reviews with the same experience justifies I’m not the only one.

Unfortunately after years of attending this studio I’ve recently had an experience here I must share as a warning to other future members. While the quality of the teachers and classes are great, the practices of their business regarding their memberships and the aggressiveness of their sales team is the opposite of what you would expect from a Yoga company.

As a seasonal member who lives in NY but lives in FLL every January and February, I felt an immense amount of pressure to sign a contract for recurring credit card charges, and I started to feel anxiety even walking in the front door each time knowing they were going to pressure me to sign up. I finally caved to avoid having this conversation over and over. When it was time for me to move back to NY and cancel the recurring charges, I was met with an extremely unprofessional email response with (and yes I quote) “I have to laugh at your concerns…” when explaining the reasons above on why I signed a contract I couldn’t commit to.

Extremely disappointing, honestly disgusted by the lack of compassion from a company that claims to be a safe space.

I bounce around to a couple of different studios, based on teachers, timing and vibe because I am a working Mom. I come to this studio specifically for Molly Weintraub's class, but was very disappointed when she stopped teaching on Fridays- she had a fantastic 75-minute Follow the Yogi class which is for more experienced practitioners. I am not sure if it was due to her schedule or the studio but such a bummer! I really looked forward to the music and vibe and would also see teachers from other studios in town attend that class. Other than that I love the space at this studio (plenty of room, not nuts to butts like some other studios) and the REAL infrared heaters that hang from the ceiling.

I went to this studio less than a hand full of times because one of my favorite instructors taught there and was leading my teacher training. I have been to many studios in the Fort Lauderdale area as either a transient CLASSPASSER (as the owner of this account has so endearingly named some of the students leaving reviews) or as a full member of a studio.

One of the last times I stepped foot in this studio, I had the pleasure of being invited to audition by that instructor. While sharing my love of yoga with others and leading a flow is something I enjoy, my life was not hinging on instructing in a studio. Midway through my audition, the owner of the studio cut me off, completely throwing me off then proceeded to tell me in the lobby that I was so boring she could slit her wrists. I never thought it was possible for someone to speak to a stranger that way in a yoga studio but here we are.

After losing my dad traumatically and going through a rigorous teacher training, I knew what kind of energy yoga is supposed to embody, and that was not it. Running a business is tough and no small yoga business in South Florida is perfect, but kindness and compassion are always free.

I read some of the responses by the owner of this google account, and it is very clear how this studio feels about classpassers who are either utilizing classpass as they are not local and would still like to enjoy the benefits of yoga away from home, or they simply cannot afford the exclusive and costly membership. The responses also validate for me that this studio is not lead by the type of loving energy that is needed to create community and permanence desired by yogis when joining a studio, nor are they open to feedback to improve or even offer what many other studios do.

I can't even remember how many times I went to this studio, perhaps it was only once for class but many other times for various reasons (final TT class with Molly was hosted in the loft upstairs, then for the audition). To be more precise, I did Molly's teacher training which wasn't being offered by Yoga Factory at the time. I will never return foot here because of how I was treated and how it seems the owner of the studio treats many others. To gaslight me and say my experience wasn't real is just another example of how awful the owner is. If you don't believe that I am truthful, look at how they have responded to my review and every other negative review on Google.

In town for a month and reserved a class on classpass. Per the website says you can rent Matt and towels. I showed up and they don’t rent towels, you can buy the ones that every other studio rents, for $60, or you can buy a very cheap towel that doesn’t cover the mat for $5. Apparently based on the owners response, they shouldn’t be on classpass if they don’t want the business.

As a seasoned Yogi, I love infrared studios so I thought this was the place for me. YF has many incredible teachers. I especially loved Mike's stretch class on Saturdays, but he's unfortunately no longer there. Since then, I've noticed a never ending rotation of new teachers and front desk help, which makes me think the studio must be poorly managed.
The amenities are lacking big time compared to other studios in Ft. Lauderdale. $8 for a face towel?! Ridiculous! The bathrooms are outdated with low water pressure. The parking is a disaster, fender benders always happening.
The blocks reek and the floor is always grimy, which again points to a poorly managed studio. I've moved on to a new studio where the environment is welcoming, clean and offers an array of amenities, making for a much more pleasant and healing experience.

If you're looking for an alternative to some of the other studios in the area that sometimes tend to become packed, then this might be a good option for you. Yoga Factory has a roomy feel with high ceilings, ample floor space, and not too many students per class. Important to know: this is one of the few places where you can find BOTH regular yoga classes and hot yoga classes.

Teachers are generally excellent. Everyone I'm sure has their own favorite teachers but, for me, I've found that Caryn Pritchett and Judy Rose are simply outstanding. Their sequencing is really smart; their classes are challenging; and they teach with an energy that is calming yet energizing. These 2 teachers can truly teach an "all levels" class; they skillfully provide various options for different levels of experience (including up to advanced).

I took a hot vinyasa class & the flow was incredible! Justin was the instructor, his cues were very clear & he suggested both modification & amplifying poses. I also really liked how he explained the safest way to get into & out of poses. Highly recommend & definitely coming back to try other classes!

I took one class here and overall was disappointed. The Vinyasa class I took had very odd transitions such as doing twisted half moon before half moon or doing chair twists without doing chair pose prior.

TRY IT! Omg so I was looking for a yoga studio and a friend of mine recommended this studio
In Ftl. Unlike any other yoga place I've been to and I'm not just saying that. This was different from the second you walk in it smells like a beautiful spa the staff here is so friendly and welcoming they knew everyone by name and when I was leaving the class she remembered my name ( that was a nice little touch for me )
the instructors here has such a unique flow and I've been doing yoga for a hot minute. Oh not to mention its hot yoga ( my skin is glowing) I was recommended hot yoga for my knee pain… so many people on the class were recovering induvials from back pain stress anxiety and all were raving about how things have changed since doing hot yoga here. I was so bummed because I live on the west side coming out here after work with traffic would be hard… THEY HAVE MULTIPLE LOCATIONS one in Weston 🙌🏾

I joined Yoga Factory because I found out one of my favorite teachers Molly Weintraub is now with this studio. Her teaching style is so engaging and her positive energy is contagious. You can’t help but leave her class vibrating higher! I’ve also had the pleasure of taking some classes with other teachers there and wow…they are also fantastic and each offer a different experience. Went here for the first time today and took the 8:15 am class with Kaci. I practice hot yoga weekly and I have ClassPass so I enjoy discovering new places. The front desk staff were friendly and inviting and the teacher Kaci was awesome. Enjoyed the flow and I’ll be back to take another class here. Just a note they don’t have locker rooms but they do have a shower. Just make sure to plan accordingly.

I’ve been to a number of yoga studios in the Fort Lauderdale area and I’ve found Yoga Factory to be my home. The instructors are given the freedom to bring their own style which is refreshing and helps avoid the repetitive feel that other studios have in the area. I have been going to Yoga factory for a year now. I know I am in the minority but I am not fond of hot yoga. I greatly appreciate that Yoga Factory offers a few non-heated classes. I absolutely love Amanda’s open-air class. Amanda White is a wonderful instructor. She will definitely challenge you during your practice. The ladies at the front desk are always very friendly toward me and always make me feel welcome when I am at yoga factory. The studio has high ceilings, a large floor, free parking, and all the bathrooms have showers. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone who’s interested in a yoga studio in fort Lauderdale.

Not sure if you are illiterate but my screen shot shows Class Pass saying "I can confirm that your reservation was fully processed through Class Pass. It should have appeared on the studio's roster..." That obviously means I contacted them regarding this, AFTER the incident. Not sure how in the world you got from the screen shot that I canceled the class through Class Pass before I arrived for class.

Thanks for your email too, btw. Shows even more how incompetent you are in running a business. FYI, class pass doesn't allow for a refund within 10 hrs of the starting of class which makes your claim even more ridiculous. I can do this all day.

This place is run horribly.
I've been attending every week through class pass for a couple of months now and today, they had an issue with class pass where they couldn't confirm payment for the scheduled class. They pulled me out during the beginning of class and demanded that I need to contact class pass myself to straighten this out with them AFTER I pay out of pocket for this class. Even after proving to them through my class pass app that I was indeed supposed to be attending said class and have also been attending consistently without an issue, the receptionist girl pretty much gave me an ultimatum - pay out of pocket or gtfo. Is this how you treat your customers? You didn't even bother to straighten it out with class pass on your side when I've proven to you that everything on my end was paid for and rightfully scheduled to attend. Let's say we should blame the unexperienced and confused receptionist for her mishap. But no - she was on the phone with the owner who didn't care at all to provide any type of customer service to someone who's been faithfully attending their studio. This business does not care for their attendees - this experience proves that money is all they care about. After leaving the studio, I have comfirmed with Class Pass that indeed, they have been processed payment for said class. (Screenshot attached.) It seems they won't waste even a minute straightening out a problem they have on their end but will blame their yogis instead by kicking them out if they don't receive instant payment.

Avoid. Go to Yoga Joint instead.

I attended a mediation workshop and found the studio to be very inviting. The building is very unassuming, warehouse looking from outside, but as you walk through the door, I was welcomed by staff at the front desk, checked in and had a few minutes to check out the items on the shelves for sale. If you're looking for a studio that is welcoming and lowkey....check them out.

Love love love this studio! I attend the 4:30pm classes and every instructor brings something new to their class. I leave each class feeling like I’ve learned something new. I was going to yoga joint originally but felt it was too fast paced. I gave it the term “corporate yoga” when discussing it with friends. It was so rushed and I would sometimes leave in pain. I started coming to yoga factory and I love it. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff and instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, and they even do adjustments! I am so happy I found yoga factory. By the way, Katrina rocks!! Love her class.
