Yoga with Janelle is a neighborhood yoga studio located at 761 Shamrock Blvd next to Shamrock Cafe in Venice. We are dedicated to improving health and happiness through the study of yoga. We provide yoga classes for all levels of experience, body-types and ages. Small class sizes, knowledgeable instructors and plenty of props provide a safe and peaceful learning environment for people who are new to yoga as well as those interested in deepening their practice.

Welcoming neighborhood studio. Small, clean, air conditioned! Love that there aren’t mirrors on the walls too. Mats and props provided. The teacher was kind and helpful and very attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back. ❤️

WONDERFUL studio! The best experience I’ve ever had at a new studio (and we travel often). I was the only student in a Chair Yoga class. I told Janelle that I was interested in potentially teaching chair yoga in my town. Janelle didn’t hesitate to enthusiastically agree to teach the class, even though it was just me. She gave me pointers about how to best teach the elderly/those with limited mobility. She inspired me to definitely pursue this additional certification. I also attended Matthew’s Gentle Hatha with singing bowls class at the studio. Even though I was the last student to arrive, Matthew was so kind and friendly. A lot of times you can feel embarrassed when you arrive “right on time”. However, the teacher and students were so welcoming. He spoke to me a few minutes after class and answered questions I asked, never seeming rushed. The class was the most relaxing experience I’ve had in a long time. Every time I visit Venice I will be visiting this studio. My only wish is that it could be in my town so I could attend more often.

Life can get so busy. We forget to put ourselves on the list of "things" to take care of. Spending time, on the mat with Janelle is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself. Janelle is a kind, compassionate, conscientious and skilled teacher. Cannot recommend more highly.
