More than the poses and breathing techniques, folks here offered me ways to expand my personal definition of yoga and bring those insights off the mat and into my day to day.. I feel that their unique approach of meeting you where you are at physically, mentally and emotionally via the tools provided allows for a safe space to be co-created between the student and teachers. Feeling empowered and able under the wise guidance of these people has helped me feel confident and capable in so many other areas of my life. I’m very appreciative and grateful.

Where do I begin? YROL is an amazing yoga studio, ROOTED in transformative, anti-racist / anti-oppression embodied practices (self-study, yoga, breath work, meditation, community building) working towards liberation from oppressive systems.I'm incredibly grateful to have been exposed to Felicia Savage and her growing legacy. It's an honor to be among the 6th flight of YogaRoots On Location YTT200 trainees!!!

Cannot recommend YogaRoots on Location enough! I participated in the YTT in 2019-2020 and I continue to apply and reflect on what I learned from the program almost daily. For those who really want to do “the work” both personally and in community, this is it!
