About as average of a gym as you’re going to get. The cardio area in particular leaves a lot to be desired - old machines, 2 TVs (that play the same thing every day), and no ellipticals. The functional strength area is better but still, it’s just good, not great. The facility itself is just lackluster and seems to have old age problems. The same toilet in the men’s bathroom has been closed for months. You can do better for a very similar price.

The gym is nice and the people who work at the Altomante location are as well......BUUUUUT, their Corporate business model when it comes to understanding their member's life changes is VERY POOR. I am stuck paying for the next 7 months even though I do not live in Orlando and do not work there anymore. I live in Lakeland. I will be unable to use it and they have ZERO Empathy. THis place is all about $. Makes me wonder if they are going to go out of business, that they need the revenue so badly, to do this to someone. Be warned

Marielena Martinez was extremely rude to me saying they’ve never looked up a customer by there phone number though every single time before That’s how they’ve always looked me up. Not to mention they forced my friend to buy a keycard to make there job easier so they won’t have to “look up my phone number”. The fitness center itself is nice. At the first visit, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, after joining, things took a different course. I was charged two times, $46.70 rather than my $23.20 membership, and the Staff at the Altamonte Springs office couldn't explain the charges either time. Having changed my mind and now wanting to cancel, I was told I'd need to email them with whatever random numbers they gave me, with no in-app or in-person cancellation option. It really does seem like they do it on purpose to make it difficult to unsubscribe. How disappointing.

Probably one of my favorite gyms I’ve been to. The location is small compared to others. There are plenty of other gyms for the same starting price that offer way more in terms of equipment and extra amenities but I enjoy going to this one. This specific location doesn’t really seem to get very busy which is just a huge plus. I’ve been multiple times at random times and it’s never ever busy. Never more than 20 people in the building. 4:30pm on a weekday it’s not busy and neither is 10am. More of the older crowd which I like bc that means there’s no one there filming their workouts on tripods hogging machines. But I’m used to Smith machines, a sauna (they only have one available in the men’s locker room), a pool, a plethora of upper and lower body machines. This location has none of that. The machines are very basic and outdated but definitely get the job done.

I’ve been a member at this Youfit location for over three years, and up until recently, it always had a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. Unfortunately, that all changed when the current manager, Motty, took over.
Today was the final straw for me. I walked in and, as I’ve done for years, went to check in by giving my phone number. Out of nowhere, I was told I now have to download the app to check in—something I’ve never been required to do in all my time here. This so-called “policy” was never communicated, and it’s not listed anywhere in the terms provided to members. When I questioned it, Motty was incredibly rude, dismissive, and flat-out unprofessional.
This isn’t my first negative interaction with her. Every time I’ve dealt with her, she’s been consistently aggressive, unfriendly, and unhelpful. What makes it worse is that after checking the reviews, I see I’m far from alone. Many others have expressed the same frustrations, calling out this exact manager for similar behavior. It’s become clear there’s a pattern—and Youfit corporate is blatantly ignoring it.
This used to be a great gym with a real sense of community, but since Motty became the face of this location, the overall environment has gone downhill fast. It feels like Youfit no longer values their loyal members or cares about addressing legitimate concerns.
Due to this experience and the ongoing lack of accountability from Youfit management, I will be canceling my membership and switching to AMP Fitness across the street. They actually care about their members and treat people with respect—something Youfit clearly no longer prioritizes.

The gym is very nice and the employees are great, but they do all their billing through ABC Fitness, which I’ve found to be a very scummy business. They refused to cancel my membership even though I provided proof of moving (which is one of the cases in which the membership contract supposedly allows you to cancel).

I have been with this gym for almost 8 years.I have always signed in using the app or my phone number .I did not have the app on my phone and I asked to be signed in using my phone number.The manager who was also at the front desk at the time blatantly stated that I cannot use my phone number to sign in.I have always paid my fees on time every month for all these years.I go to the gym once in every 3 months or so whenever time permits.I asked the manager for a written policy as to why I could not use my phone number to sign in and she could not provide me with one.I responded with the customers at your gym is the reason you have a job and a salary.Her response to me was customers do not pay her salary. In other words she is not paid from the money the gym makes from customer's monthly fees.The manager is the representative of an organization's culture and it's evident that their customers or service is not their priority regardless if the customer's hard earned money is spent towards paying theirs.I have forwarded an email to cooperate simply because this is poor service when I've been loyal to this gym for soo many years.

They told us we could cancel ANYTIME, but now we’re being told 30 days notice. I didn’t have the energy to fight with the call center agent over $30, so here’s my 1 star review.

Edit: Wow, the response to this review is even unprofessional. Though I’m not shocked at all. Your particular location doesn’t help potential or existing members from what it looks like. The second there is an issue your management is nasty over the phone, in person and gives false info for policies that have to be done in your location. Whoever responded to my review - you’re a joke. I’d like to also add that when the club manager was finally gotten into touch with she was RUDE. Disrespectful, and unwilling to help when 3 wayed with the customer service line. The ONLY person that ended up figuring things out was a supervisor through care that got this situation escalated to after several days. DO NOT sign up here.
The WORST experience does not even begin to describe what happened with this gym. My boyfriend came in on Thursday 03/20 to sign up for a membership for the both of us. The plan he signed up for was $35 a month that he assumed was for a family plan for the both of us. Come to find out it’s a premium membership that is only for 1 person. So naturally - we did some shopping around to find a better option financially as we just moved her from across the state.
Under the club policy there is a 3 day cancellation option from the day you sign up and it’s required to return to the club you signed up at in order to process that 3 day cancellation so you won’t be charged for a month of service or the annual fee. So we went up to the club on 03/21 around 7:30pm. There was a young man with a short fade and earrings working the counter alone that claimed to be the assistant manager for the club. He told my boyfriend that he had to call the customer service line and handed him a card, because they don’t do cancellations in the location. We called the care number to be told that they don’t process the 3 day cancellation notice over the phone, because it strictly applies to the location you signed up with. So we drive back to the club with the same “assistant manager” to be told again there was nothing he could do. Before my boyfriend could ask for the club manager he got up and went to the back and would not come back out until we left.
The next morning we returned to the gym together on 3/22 at around 10:30am. The same young man was at the counter and didn’t look too happy to see us. My boyfriend was calm and pretty laid back about the situation, but the young man insisted he just didn’t know how to help, but offered to “text” his manager. At which point a young lady arrived for her shift that tried to assist him with the process. By the end he claimed to have filled out the proper form and sent a copy of it to my boyfriend’s email, but insisted we called the care number back on Monday just to be sure it was processed. It’s now Monday 03/24 and the care representative is saying they have no notice of the cancellation and the membership is still active. We were transferred to a supervisor who we ended up having to do a 3 way call with the original club.
On the call a different guy picks up and informs us that the guy from a few nights ago no longer works at their location and was transferred. Then follows it up with they also have no record of the cancellation in their system. He goes to get his club manager to ask for guidance and at this point we are completely unsure if we will be charged the annual fee and month of service despite attempting to follow all the steps given to us. I work in Business to Business sales and this is by far one of the worst customer service experiences a business can offer someone. I should’ve been more aware just based on the numerous other reviews having the same issue. But the guy who wouldn’t give us his name, walked off the floor, provided false information to get us out of the location, and had us waste numerous days on a process that should be very easy based on the club policy - shouldn’t have a job in a front facing customer service role; let alone one that’s a part of management (if that was even true).

YouFit deleted my Google Review from January 2025, so I'm posting it again:
I do not recommend YouFit in Altamonte Springs for short-term visitors or those looking for a non-commitment plan.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with YouFit:
- On October 3rd, 2024, I visited the YouFit Altamonte Springs location and inquired about a non-commitment, 1-month membership since I would be visiting relatives for 3 weeks. I live outside the US, and after my visit, I would no longer be using the gym. The staff was friendly and informed me that I would only be charged a one-time monthly fee of $65.12 for a non-commitment membership.
- A month later, I noticed a charge attempt of $54.59 on my card. I immediately contacted YouFit’s customer support team and also CC'd the Fitness Manager at the Altamonte location. I asked them to stop charging me since I had already paid for the one-month membership as explained by their staff.
- The customer support response was as follows:
"Per the terms of your agreement, your account must be current, and you must provide a 30-day written notice to cancel. Therefore, you are responsible for any payments that are past due or fall within the notification period. I apologize, but we are unable to waive any scheduled invoice payments. Please remit $132.89 to finalize your request."
I admit I should have read the terms and conditions more carefully after being told by staff that it was a one-month membership. However, I sent the requested cancellation notice and reiterated that I only used the gym for 3 weeks back in October.
- Despite this, I continued to receive emails demanding payment for a service I was no longer using. In late December, my relatives in Florida received a letter from a collections agency, Aldous & Associates P.L.L.C., demanding $194.34 and threatening to report my account to credit bureaus if ignored. Letter attached.
I am extremely disappointed in YouFit and would strongly advise against joining or using their services. Their membership options are misleading, and the front desk staff is unprepared to provide accurate information. As a result, I’m now dealing with an attorney over an unreasonable charge while living outside the US.
YouFit doesn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction or well-being; they’re more focused on finding ways to take your money, even through threats and intimidation.
I’m sorry to those in the US who may also have to deal with a frustrating situation like this one.
I ended up paying the the $194.34 balance from the Aldous & Associates P.L.L.C. collector in January 2025, but I'd urge YouFit to pay back that amount to me as, again, I only used their premises for 3 weeks.
YouFit should take accountability for having an unprepared staff at their Altamonte Springs location. I'll post this review again if they decide to delete it again. Shame on you, YouFit.

This gym will promise you anything to get you to sign up. Once they have your account set up on ACH they will charge you and then everyone at the front desk has no idea what you’re talking about. Mario the current mgr is not very compassionate or keeps his word on what he promises.
I would do your research on this gym and ask how many members/ PT/front desk mgrs have been there in the last year…. Very unorganized group.
Ohhhh and they barely have any classes for you to take they are way to expensive for what they DONT offer!

Be advised you cannot cancel your membership depending on the level you select. The contract is ambiguous and if you cancel you will still be billed and then sent to collections if you protest the charge. Go to a locally owned gym where you can understand the agreement.

I was a member of golds gym when golds closed and transferred all contracts here. I had a lifetime membership at golds. I have been coming here since then. Told the lady at desk didn’t let me in “because my membership” was expired. I tried for 10 min to explain her that I don’t have a monthly membership. I got tired and said, ok, get me a membership I will pay for. She refused, told me to go online, I refused to leave the gym without a membership that I want to pay for. She call the cops, with the excuse that I disrespect her, the good thing, everything it’s recorded by their own cameras.
Now we are here waiting for the cops.
I pay a membership, but I never step foot inside this place.
Completely unnecessary this show.

"The worst place ever! I canceled my membership back in March, and these people keep telling me they don’t know what happened to the cancellation. They acknowledge the cancellation of my personal trainer but insist that the membership cancellation wasn’t submitted. Despite calling multiple times, I can never reach a manager. When I finally did speak with one, he was rude and made it seem like I was lying about my cancellation.
I explained that I moved and canceled both my personal trainer and my membership on the same day. Fast forward to November, and they're still charging my account! I've had to report them to my bank and will be escalating this to corporate. It's unacceptable to steal money from people's accounts and provide such terrible customer service. Avoid this place at all costs!"

PREDATORY MEMBERSHIP PRACTICES
WOW - do not use this gym. I can't rate it 1 star, because the employees are polite, the facility is clean, and the machines are all in good working order - but their membership practices are INCREDIBLY PREDATORY.
We have 'cancelled' our membership multiple times - in person, they told us to email their service department, but the service department refused to cancel anything, and when I called them, they told me I had to go handle it IN PERSON.
So when I did, I was told, sure, it's cancelled, except for one final charge secured within a 30-day window. I said, sure, fine, I get it, but not only did they charge me THAT one, they charged me for the FOLLOWING month, as well.
Worse still is their Personal training - we were told we could cancel out personal training charges, we just had to use up the remaining sessions we'd already been pre-charged for, which we did, only to STILL get charged again. So imagine all the nightmare of the ~$30 membership recurring charge, only for hundreds of dollars instead.
Again, the individual workers were good employees, and the facility was...ok to work out in (we cancelled to go to a newer gym with better facilities, classes, and training options,) but this corporate practice of making it as difficult as humanly possible to cancel just soured the whole experience. I know the stereotype of gym memberships being hard to cancel, but this was the worst experience we've ever had cancelling one.
Short version - do yourself a favor, and use a gym that doesn't have such terrible cancellation processes, unless you enjoy spending way to much money for a gym you no longer use.

EDIT: reduced four-star to a single star. Corporate is not paying for anything to fixed here, air-conditioning problems, huge amounts of missing and damaged equipment. They also treat employees bad enough that they can’t keep employees. I’ve spent 18 months here and they have exactly one employee that is still here in that time. Every employee left after they fired the local management for the third time. This last time they actually had a competent manager who was making things better.
Even though there was month-to-month agreement they have charged me again for personal training after cancelling even though there’s no one to give any personal training as there’s only one full-time trainer who has a 100% book schedule.
With all of the employees leaving, there are no more classes except for a single Saturday morning one. They went from 10 SGT classes to one.
This is what happens when a business is owned by venture capital. Their venture capitalist owners can pound sand.

Facility is incredibly nice, well ventilated unlike some other gyms in the area. I signed up to do group classes, mostly HIIT. However, since I started nine weeks ago, eight of the weeks the instructor they have assigned for Thursday has taken herself off of the class. The explanation always given is “for an emergency“, yet most Thursdays I see that instructor there doing personal training sessions instead. And the one time of these nine weeks at the class was held it was a whopping 15 minutes long.
Another trainer has offered to pick that class up but he was told management will not allow him to take on another class because some policy either that he has enough classes already or this other person have to have some classes signed by policy, it’s not entirely clear.
If you have an instructor who clearly doesn’t want to do the group fitness class, let another instructor take their place! I brought this up to some manager, not sure what his exact position is, multiple times and they kept telling me things will be fixed in June yet here we are at the end of June and there’s been exactly one Thursday class. My goal is to do five group classes a week.
Everything else is a five star rated gym and when or if they decide to let another person take over this class I will be glad to fix the rating.
Also, look closely at your data or hire someone who understands data like me to do it for you. Here’s a free piece of data analysis; You have two 1 hour HIIT classes per week and those are by far the most subscribed classes. Increase the amount of one hour classes!
Edit: I spoke with the trainer that was previously doing Thursday classes and she said she was not the one taking it off the schedule. So I'm not entirely sure what is going on. Getting mixed info versus what management said.
Second Edit: They have finally fixed the HIIT scheduling and now we have HIIT all week. Sadly the Wed/Thur was out of town for two weeks after this was resolved so not having a sub stinks but she should be back today.

Thye desrve 0 stars. i have been with this gym since I was travsfered from Gold /gym. he gaslighting that happens around the contract is un;recendented. I wanted to cacel my membership they said no, then the tall manager who is incompetent screamed at me "I am revoking your member get out of my club because I am calling the police. This is is after close to 6 month of trying to resolve the fact that a low skilled trainer made me sign the wrong contract and i was being charged a recurring fee. They are so rude. I've been a member of this gym for about a year now, and I can't say enough good things about it. The facilities are modern, clean, and well-maintained. There's a great variety of equipment, so I never have to wait long, even during peak hours.
What truly sets this gym apart is the staff. The trainers are knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell they care about your progress and are genuinely invested in helping you reach your fitness goals, not just your monthly membership fees.
The other members are fantastic too. I’ve seen people offering spots or just encouraging others during a tough set!

I like this location, it’s spacious, rarely is anyone ever directly next to you, they’ve got a lot of doubles of machines so you don’t usually have to wait too long for an opening. However, I have seen gyms with newer, more updated equipment, for Abs, glutes and upper body strength. I would stay here a million times more if they’d just update some equipment. Currently in search of a new gym after 2 years from Alafaya’s Youfit to Altamonte’s Youfit, otherwise it is pretty good and unlike any other gym when it comes to being two floors and full of space.
I have read some negative reviews here about cancelling memberships, I haven’t cancelled mine yet and I sure hope that is not the case but when the time comes, will update.

I have been a member since Golds Gym (g) closed and transferred my membership to YouFit (y). I was paying more at g than the base membership at y, but they charged me the higher rate anyway. I even maintained my member ship through the Covid closures. I went to cancel my membership today before I incurred and additional months membership and was told they cannot cancel there but it had to be done M-F at a remote location (after I will be charged for another month). On top of that, they said I would be charged $10 for the cancelation. You(fit) are not the only game in town and I would not recommend joining.

I signed up here to work with a personal trainer, I paid for everything up front. Apparently the trainer I was working with is no longer with the company. No one cared to call me and help me to get another personal trainer. I stopped by the gym on Saturday. I explained the issued the front desk said they can not help but I could speak with the Regional Manager Fabian and he would be able to help me. The Regional manager looked at me through his glass window and refused to come out and help me. He told he front desk that he is busy. I asked the front desk when would be a better time to come back to get some assistance they said come back Monday at 11:30am.
That Monday the Manager of the Fitness department called me prior to the meeting. He said mam I cannot not help you will have to come in to talk to the Regional Manager Fabian. I came in to the facility the Regional Manager looked at me and refused to come out and speak with me again. He kept sending other employees who do not have the authority or work in a different department and they could not help me. The employees were confused and embarrassed as to why he would be ignoring me and refusing to help me get assistance.
The Regional manger was kind and courteous to everyone else but would ignore me me as if I was disregarded trash. His fellow coworkers were embarrassed and confused as to why I have been randomly selected to being mistreated. I asked if I can get a number to some one higher up in the company and they refused to give me that information.
I don't know this man never seen him or spoke to him a day in my life but to get a door slammed in your face by the Regional many three days in a row is crazy.
I asked to cancel my membership since I can't seem to get any kind of assistance. I was currently on the phone with corporatewhile being mistreated he sat in his office completely disregarded me. His other employees kindly asked if he could help and he still refused to speak with me or help me in anyway. Other people came in before me and while I was standing there and no-one else was subjected to be mistreated like me. The other employees felt bad but clearly wanted to keep there job so there was nothing they could do. I am still trying to contact some one to get this membership canceled. This Regional Manager Fabian picks and chooses to treat people poorly base off of how they look. It's unfortunate I honestly just needed some assistance but never got it.

The gym itself is great, equipment is up to par, staff is friendly for the most part. But I have been to multiple gyms EOS, Amped, 24, Esporta, LA Fitness. And I have never in my life been put through so many hoops JUST to cancel a membership. They try to trap you, years ago I had an issue when I went to cancel in location. They charged a cancelation fee of 10 plus the actual service fee. Now fast forward 4 years down the line I thought things have changed and it's actually worse off now. For starters, they apparently can no longer cancel in the gym anymore at all. They also hike the prices up I was told my the General MANAGER Alex that I owed over 50 dollars to cancel. And I had to call some automated system that loops you around, after running through the loophole I got through in the begging of November since I had moved I canceled. They put me pending for cancellation and made me pay Nov, Dec, and tried to make me pay January. To find out all I needed to pay was 16 dollars and to find out the locations GM had no idea what he was talking about. This is the worst and most difficult experience I’ve had just trying to cancel a membership I will not be going back to youfit. Simply off of this

Do not go if you are a morning workout person. This is the 3rd time in the last 2 months that I showed up at 5:45AM to work out, and no one was there. Mind you, they are supposed to open at 5AM. After calling and asking to cancel, they said I can't cancel because I am under contract for 5 more months. Last I checked, a contract is a 2 way street, and they didn't hold up their end.

This location is dirty & unkept. The floors, stairs, ect are filthy. Countless times the sanitizing sprays and paper towels are empty. The women’s bathroom is a disgusting most days.

Please don't sign up for the personal training at this gym. They are extremely fraudulent when it comes to changing your account. I signed up for a six month training period and kept getting charged after because apparently you have to cancel something that should have automatic been canceled after the 6 months I originally agreed to. When I initially signed up it was done on tiny computer screens with only half of the information presented to you. How is something automatic renewed without my consent?. The manager was nasty and made no efforts to help me. Not even my personal trainer bothered to inform me of this, the gym is hotel lobby quality at best. Save your money and go to crunch fitness

I was on vacation from out of state for a few days so I got a 3-day pass to this location. This place was stupendous! Two stories, sooooo many different weight machines, and great squat racks and deadlift platforms! The staff was so friendly, too. I felt very welcomed. Loved Youfit. I was visiting FL for a week and as a guest at Residence Inn I had access to the Youfit gym.
It was my first time at any Youfit. I was pleasantly surprised! A full gym with free barbell racks! Clean and spacious. They have a green patch for sleds, full kettlebell racks and calisthenic stations. In addition to full DB racks and resistance machines, they have EZ curl bars and preloaded straight bars too.They also have a hanging punching bag - made me smile - as I train in martial arts.
Restrooms are clean with lots of stalls. Changing rooms and showers are great.
The best part was how amazing the staff is. Friendly, helpful and courteous - that means a lot to me. One of the days I forgot to get my lock for the locker room and one of the trainers let me use his locker. I was SO grateful.
I was like if I land up moving to FL proximity to Youfit or a comparable gym would be something to consider :)
All in all a great experience. Highly recommend it!

There was a temporary manager named Rich, who I spoke with. I agreed to join on (Oct 25,2022) a trial monthly membership. I told him I was happy at Planet Fitness because of the amenities. He assured me that after the first of 23’ that amenities like massage chairs, and Hydro massage would be added. I additionally found out that this gym had a sauna, which excited me at first but it’s not for women it’s only for men… it’s in the men’s locker room. Strange because the monthly fee is the same for men and women, yet men get more amenities.?? Anyway, I visited the gym on a handful of occasions and figure it out quickly that this gym was not for me and decided to no longer pursue the monthly membership. The amenities were not added after the first of the year and I have now been contacted by an attorney wanting over $432 for a $10 a month monthly membership that I used for three months. This club in my opinion uses smoke and mirrors not to mention discrimination when it comes to the sauna.. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

I joined this gym to to get help to rebuild upper body strength after being down for months after open heart surgery. The gym seemed okay, but was a little dirty, but not terrible. I signed up to work with a trainer which required me to sign a contract and I was happy to do that because I was commited to working with a trainer for at least 3 - 4 months until I was back into a work out routine. During the first workout with the trainer, I strained my left hip flexor while doing very deep squats and ended up in the emergency room. I could not walk without pain for about a week. I went back to the gym to let them know I was injured and the first thing the manager said was I signed a contract and I would continue to be charged, that I had to cancel then I would charged one more month and then it would be cancelled, which is thier policy. That is thier policy. But I was still a bit suprised that they could have cared less that I was injured at their gym by their employee. To say the least, I never step inside the gym again because it took several weeks of rest and then physical therapy to get back into a different gym.

Gym was always clean. Took a year off and when returned was shocked to see how dirty it has become. Bathroom is the worst and stuff growing in toilets for weeks. Sweat is splashed all over treadmill and mirrors. Floors never swept. I don't know know if I can continue to work out there and will be looking else where if not kept up. When I walk into you fit the first thing I think of is "dedication" and when I see the evening shift crew clocked in valiantly checking people in it brightens up my day to see these 2 specific young men not only improving their life's with a great company but improving their own bodies within the gym. these 2 employees names are Josh and Yuval every time i walk in the gym I'm greeted with 2 big bright white smiles, our conversations are pleasant and they even offer me advice on my routines and supplements (I'm natty(no steroids)) overall I don't think I would go to any other Gym to apply for a membership.

***UPDATE 11/1/2022***I gave YouFit another try & rejoined in Dec 2021. I again cancelled my membership due to the lack of class options and the HITT classes constantly getting cancelled. I cancelled my membership in person after my January payment came out & I was told I was paid up until February & my that membership would end then. I received an email 11/1/22, 11 months later from Aldous & Associates PLLC stating I owe $188.16. I immediately called the gym to discuss why I owed this money and got hung up on. I then drove to the gym and spoke to the manager Rich who stated I owed for March, April, and May and that there was no record of a cancellation on file. I know that came in & I signed a cancellation so what happened to it is not my fault nor my problem. The last time I was told that I checked-in to work out was February 16th so why do I owe when I cancelled and for months that I did not utilize the membership? Rich did nothing but offered to remove half of the debt, have me pay the other half, & then rejoin. After my last experience & the way I was recently treated being hung up on, I do not wish to continue my membership with YouFit! *******
I’ve been a member for over a year. Everything was great until COVID hit. I was charged 2 months while closed. I contacted customer service and was told I couldn’t get a refund however they would put my account on hold and never stated that I would be billed when they re-opened. I was also told that I would get 2 months free for the months that I was charged while closed once they re-opened. Over 3 months later, I get an unprofessional text message from someone named Ruben that I owe over $100. Why did they wait so long to contact me? The smart thing to do would’ve been instead of sending unprofessional text messages months later, made courtesy calls to those who had memberships on hold and informed them that you were now open and given the opportunity to extend the membership on hold or cancel. Just because you decide to open doesn’t mean that I feel comfortable going to a sweaty gym during a pandemic. Furthermore I don’t even like or use the machines, I love the classes which aren’t even being offered right now so why should I pay for something that I can’t even use? So now I’m being threatened to either pay the balance or to add insult to injury start my membership all over again which the monthly fee has now increased and is more then what I was originally paying. I was offered the option to put my membership back on hold again for 3-6 months only after I pay for a new membership. By then I still may not be ready to come back. I don’t understand why I can’t just cancel and rejoin when I’m ready? It’s very shady business practice and will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB!

I was finally told on August 26 that I can request a cancellation via email now that my account is 3 months past due and was sent to collections. I am more than willing to pay for the June past due amount but the following 2 months could have been avoided if I was told to send an email like I was told this past Friday. Out of all the gyms I have been to, this gym is my favorite! I truly appreciate how clean the staff keeps the gym and how there is a lot of access to different equipment and machines. Even during busy hours, I can still complete every workout I have planned. With such an amazing staff at the front, it’s always a great start to my workout. My husband and I joined this gym because of the type of equipment and classes it offered, but we’ll always choose to keep coming back because of the friendly environment. YouFit Altamonte is my favorite gym hands down! It’s huge, clean & never feels crowded…you’ll never have to wait your turn to use any machine like most other gyms. They have tons of machines! Also, I love ALL the staff here - they are all super sweet & knowledgeable! Especially Justin who works the front desk, since day 1 he’s gone out of his way to always help my mom who’s elderly & can barely speak English. Which I’m so grateful for because she feels so welcomed here. I don’t see myself ever leaving this gym. I would recommend YouFit Altamonte to everyone because you will fall in love!

Manager does not know how to handle customers. I tried to cancel several times by email and phone they would not accommodate and keep charging me no response whatsoever. Even after he told me he would take care of it. There is no way to contact corporate either.
It’s a scam, never used the place once.

Loved this gym! Sadly I did switch gyms recently so I had to cancel my membership. This was my very first gym and where I started my fitness journey. Thanks to this place I was able to mature in the gym. The staff is beyond amazing. Xavier is the absolute best, he always was welcoming and super friendly every time I got to the gym. Honestly loved this place!

They told me to register that I was not going to have any permanent contract with them, and due to illness I was never able to attend even a single class and now they have me in a collection and they are charging me saying that I have a contract with them, no I recommend it, they tell a lie and then charge as if they had a contract by force,

I had the overwhelming pleasure of dealing with Daniel Larsen, when I came in to check the place out. Daniel is exceedingly knowledgeable, obviously practices what he preaches, and is an enthusiastic and kind individual, who you can tell is 100% genuine. He is a solid asset to any team, looking forward to working with him in the future.
I’m editing this just to also mention David Billig. David actually got me signed up because Daniel wasn’t in. Again, ace member of the team, definitely has me sold on the private coaching as well as the extras on the app when I can afford them. David was also super kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and was able to get me signed up expediently. Huge thanks to David as well!
