The facility itself is fine and equipment is in good condition. My complaint is how, for some reason, all the employees are so rude and “stuck-up”. No one says hi when you walk in. The only cool guy is Scott (i hope that’s his name, bald glasses dude). All the other zoomers just look at you, even when you say hi, none of them reply. I’m a millennial so i HATE to assume it’s a “zoomer” thing but i believe that might be the case.

So maybe be a little nicer?

I'm with YouFit for the last 9 month, exercising 3-5 days per week. Very happy with the specious facility, the service and their flexibility, I did a lot of make up sessions if I missed my scheduled classes because of travel. I use personal trainer Marc to keep myself motivated and organized. Marc is a great coach, helping me with everything, adding my personal specific requests like preparation for the ski season. Strongly recommend this YouFit and Marc as a coach to our local residents

I re-joined YOUFIT almost a year ago. Wanted to get in better shape for my niece’s wedding in June. I need accountability so I work with a trainer 3x a week. I am so grateful to have Marc as my trainer. He knows what I need to work on, changes it up so we don’t do the same things all the time. He pushes me to achieve my goals. Update 4/17/25
Youfit continues to have issues with having an employee show up to open the gym. No one showed up today. No new equipment, and current machines break on a regular occurrence. Management continues to change, employees continue to change, but nothing else changes.

No one showed up to work to open the gym. Equipment continues to be run down. No replacement of machines that have been there for years. No enforcement of any gym policies. Their flagship gym is an embarrassment. Management does nothing.

Update 1/31/22. No one showed up to work to open the gym! This place is a dumpster fire! Stay away! Wouldn't be shocked to come here and find the gym shut down permanently. Never a manager in site! What happened to the new Youfit we were promised! Update: What a shock! No one showed up to work to open the gym. Gym opens at 5am, and it is now almost 7am, with no one in sight. Management is nowhere to be found. Equipment has not been updated in years. Staff can't even show up to their job on time. This place is a joke! Youfit Corporate does nothing about it either. Update: New Years Eve. Gym is supposed to open at 7am and no staff showed up. Angry members outside in disbelief. Absolute dumpster fire. No manager in site. Do not join this gym! Also, some members continue to walk around the gym with no mask! Update: Besides everything that I already wrote previously below, today, your front desk staff did not show up until 6:45 A.M. Your gym is scheduled to open at 5:00 A.M. This is not the first time this has happened. Every time, you will be assured that it will not happen again, and then it happens again. Management is no where to be found, and no back up plan when this happens. The phone inside the gym rolls the calls over to the Lantana gym which always seems to have their staff show up on time, and seems genuinely in disbelief why the Youfit at Town Center can't get their act together.

If you want a gym where members don't wear masks, don't bring towels, and don't wipe down the equipment, then this is the place for You! Look no further. I observed a loud, obnoxious, emotionally unbalanced member screaming at a woman who simply asked him to put his mask on. The manager stood ( or shall I say " sat at his desk" and did nothing) she had to go and get him while this other member tore into her. He should have called the police. He handled this volatile situation extremely inappropriately. What a disappointment. Update - Called YouFit as directed in response to me, and no answer. Policy is to have mask on at all times when you are walking through the gym. You even have signs posted, but nothing enforced. I can guarantee 100% that non mask wearing walking around in the gym occurs. I am not referring to just putting the mask on for show when you walk through the door. Disgrace that management allowed another male member to scream crazily at a female member.

It's not a gym—it's a trap.
When they're trying to sign you up, they are super friendly and helpful. But once you're in, they hide behind the contract, which is written entirely in their favor—not yours.

I was enrolled by a nice lady, and a guy told me I could start with the premium plan and switch to the advertised deal after a month. Now, they’re saying it’s against their policy, and if I want to downgrade, I have to cancel the current plan and pay all the enrollment and annual fees again.

Nothing they told me matches what’s on their website. Be careful—once you sign up, it's really hard to get out.

I was looking forward to get the family to join as well, am glad I found out before we pay more and fall in their traps.

, I signed up and came once or twice . I did not know/ I couldn’t not remember what card was on file and therefore when they tried changing my card my card was locked and was not able to be processed so I got like $23 fee

I had to pay $52 I asked if they could please just one time waive the fee as I tried and wanted to pay over the phone . Which turns out you can NOT pay over the phone (which is very inconvenient) . I just signed up two months or so ago and also had to pay the annual fee which o believe it was $65 or so.

To only have came twice for all that . Also you can’t cancel at the gym you now how to email a third party to request cancellation .

Scam!! Beware. I have a membership, no cancellation fee. Went into you fit to cancel was told I could only cancel by calling “ abc fitness” and gave me a phone # to call, it loops doesn’t allow you to cancel. I got a new debit card so they can’t charge me and did email them but they make it impossible to cancel a membership! Place is a dump, I tried it based on a promo for $10 a month. Was so depressing I went back to LA Fitness! I wouldn’t go there for free, the atmosphere just makes you want to get out of there as fast as you can it so dark and the equipment is horrible.

After posting the review below, the music has been turned down to about 1/2 the volume it was previously. I assume management spoke to the front desk staff and they were told to keep the music at a reasonable level.

There was a reply to my review: "In the future, you might consider speaking directly with the front desk staff" I repeatedly asked the people at the front desk turn the ear shattering music down and they actually laughed at me. They told me that the loud music was necessary to energize the people in the gym. I guess they got a reprimand from management.

Very loud unpleasant music! Volume is in control of the staff at the front desk who can't hear how loud it is at the rear of the gym. There are three of four people working out when I'm there who aren't listening to their own music, so the front desk employees are really entertaining themselves. 99% of the people there could care less if there was music at all, they're wearing earbuds or headphones. Management should set the music volume at a reasonable safe (not so loud as to do hearing damage) level and station selection out of the hands of the employees who play what they want to hear at a volume they want. Overall I like Youfit Town Center but the music is ruining a very nice place to workout.

The staff at this club misinformed me on "contractual agreement" and cancellation of, this is after thew disallowed my guest entry because my guest was a previous member years ago, and had a balance, but this is because they use a 3rd party for CANCELLING which makes it near impossible to cancel and the bills keep coming.

You will be charged an unfair amount to try to cancel by ABC fitness or "anytime fitness" and maybe others, the staff here know that, and they will not disclose this until you are ready to cancel.
Just beware, especially if you plan on bringing a guest.

Not only have I been trying to email back and fouth to cancel my membership they are still changing me when I asked for my membership to be canceled. No one has been helpful and not only am I going to have to pay the $50 change for canceling but also have had to pay $12 every month (2 months emailing back and fouth trying to cancel) and the month after they are change me the cancelation fee. I was injured and could not work out for 6 months, I also work 9-7 every day other than sat/sun. when I tried to cancel my membership (which I set up on the APP and was super easy btw) they gave me the hardest time, told me I needed to speak to a "CANCELATION MANAGER"???? WHICH COVINENIETLY WORKS ONLY 9-5 MON-FRI!!! They kept charging me for months before i realized.
So I did what anyone else would. I called my bank and had it stopped and refunded. and exact amount of $120, which was half of what was actually charged but thats what my bank was able to dispute return to me. they basically have a RETENTION SYSTEM thats morally wrong they know exactly what they are doing.

Good value gym, good prices for what the gym offers, but I have been put through some low integrity business practices in regards to billing and cancellation. A shame because I have liked this gym for a while. This is commonplace in the gym membership industry so be vigilant. A few months ago I was leaving the country, so I wanted to cancel my membership. I was told about a "Hold" option instead of cancellation, where I would be charged 5 dollars a month instead of cancelling for the privilege of not having to re-pay the initiation fee if I wanted to re-instate my membership. The man I was speaking to told me I could only hold my membership for 3 months but did not detail to me what would would happen after the cancellation is over. I was under the assumption that it would be cancelled after leaving the conversation. Fast forward to a few days ago, the hold is up and I get a surprise charge on my credit card I wasn't expecting for a months membership fee. I call them about it and well it's probably in my contract, I tell them I was misled when putting the membership on hold and if I had known that it would be re-instated I would have canceled before it got to that point because I am again leaving the country in a few days. But they said its out of their hands and all cancellations and refunds are to be done through a 3rd party company they don't own. (another low integrity business practice in itself, I should just be able to cancel with the same people who were so eager to get me a membership in the first place, but now I have to go through the ringer contacting a 3rd party company and wait on hold to talk to some indian customer service rep halfway across the world). I told them again that in spirit I would have cancelled this membership if I had actually known the terms of the agreement and they actually had zero sympathy for me, unlike the kid on the phone at the gym that emphasized with my situation even though he couldn't do anything because they shipped out their cancellations to this 3rd party company. They basically told me they aren't going to do anything, I told them I wanted to cancel my membership now and they did. They also informed me I am still responsible for 30 days of charges so now I am on the hook for two month's worth of charges not just one. Im not as mad at this one because yes, It is probably in my contract, and I was probably explained that when I got my membership (don't remember). But again this is just another selfish tactic to part you with more of your money after you have the intention to cancel with them and not the highest integrity business practices. Again, great value for a gym, but I wouldn't say they follow the age old adage of "treat people how you want to be treated" so it leaves a sour taste in my mouth and leads me to write this review. Please represent your products honestly and allow a patron to cancel in a simple way with the same humans they signed up with.

Extreme!! Mislead customer.I was on vacation in Boca. Upon arriving at the gym, I told the employee that I only needed the gym for 2 weeks. The gym employee told me it was no problem and I could cancel my membership at the gym without any problems when I left. We did that. When I got home I found that I was still being charged. I solved this by email, where they told me that they would cancel my membership but charge me for the next month. In addition, they charged me $30 in fitness center maintenance fees as stated in the email. I was not informed about these charges and the employee did not provide me with any information. basically they ripped me off over $150 for 5 visits to the fitness center. Youfit never again. Started YouFit off Palmetto Park Rd in Boca and found the facility, especially the bathroom pretty disgusting. Moved to Boca Mall location and for a few months, have noticed the women’s bathroom to not be as consistent with cleanliness as well. Today I decided to take pictures just to show how nasty the situation is and clearly management does not care to keep their facilities clean. Over the past 6 months, I’ve had a few complaints. 1. Was performing deadlifts. And was told to keep it down. Meanwhile, I was deadlifting 115lbs. Yet, when the beefy guys drop way more weight consistently, nothing is said to them. 2. A rower had a low battery signal. I notified the little boy at front desk, and his reply, “it’s not his job”. Not sure why the quality of staff and cleanliness is so sub par. Considering taking my membership elsewhere.

This gym and it’s equipment is clean and up to date, I highly recommend this gym, do NOT listen to the negative comments on here, it’s definitely a Boca thing. Yes every gym is not perfect, so get over it and go somewhere else.

This location is amazing out of all the other locations I’ve been too. All the machines are always clean and all the weights are in the right spot. It’s a friendly environment and all the workers are very welcoming especially the assistant manager Scott.

Staff: Manager Austin runs a tight ship. His staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They answer any question you have regarding machines or weights

People: You get a nice mix of people, and everyone is really friendly. Old and young, teens, some serious lifters and guys and gals, like me and my wife, just trying to keep fit. However, no intimidating types. My wife, who just started working out, and was lost in the gym at first, feels right at home. Also, it is not very crowded most of the time- which my wife and I love.

Equipment: Has a great mix of equipment. Enough heavy free weights for the more serious lifter, but light weights for those trying to stay toned and lean. Great mix of machines for every body part. Also has a couple of universal machines, which are my favorite. For those who like to do cardio also - like me - YouFit has all various types of machines, treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and Stairmasters with TV monitors on every unit. Finally, the universal, and cardio equipment all seem new and in great shape.

Price/Cost: Very reasonable on the budget. I believe not much more than $10 dollars a month which is a great price. Can also get a higher price (but not much higher - I believe around twenty) for those wanting to go to multi-sites.

Locker Room: Extremely clean locker room, which is cleaned by staff several times a day. Recently renovated showers, which I use after every workout.

Parking: Parking is never a problem since the gym is adjacent to the parking garage on the upper level. Really love the fact that cars are kept cool since the cars are protected from the strong Florida sun.

Location: Excellent location - easily accessible for those driving. Also, I see some members walking to the gym since the area is pedestrian safe.

Summary: Excellent gym - low price, excellent equipment, friendly people, helpful staff and great location. We give this gym a 10.

I have been at this YF location for just about 8 years now.. a bit of a break during covid.
I have always enjoyed it but it did need an upgrade!
The new owner and management team have done just that and I love the changes!!
I could have made a switch to a new LAF which opened right across the street from me but have decided to stay put!

I love this gym ONLY cause it’s right by where I live and work, super convenient, I don’t have a car. Plus the new equipment is pretty nice, it’s slowly starting to look like an actual gym (despite the fact most people who come here just sit on machines and take up space and act self entitled). The major problem with this YouFit (NO other YouFit has this problem and I know that for a fact, I call them every time to ask for a manager which never gets me anywhere. No one does they’re job here, as in no one shows up on time. I have work and I wake up at 4am to wake up and get ready for the gym, I need at least 3 hours to get a good work out in. I’m in recovery (I’m an addict and alcoholic) I’ve been sober almost a year thanks to the gym (of course my family as well plus work). I’ve know horrible people in recovery who’ve become better people who are WAY more hard working then the people that work here. There’s NO excuse for showing up late. I am in recovery, I have insomnia as well as depression, what is your excuse.

30% off the machines have been down or un plugged.
To many groups of kids/ teen next to every other machine busy talking and showing off.
When I first signed in I ask about cancelation fee, she said no and when I try to cancel to ask me to pay cancellation fee,And if I stop the payment they will take me to collection.
So I paid but I’ll definitely not going to recommend on them.

I can’t believe the condition of this gym. It use to be so nice. It’s has been neglected. The bathrooms are so nasty and don’t look like they have been cleaned. There was a sanitary pad thrown near the “out of order” shower. They didn’t have paper towels or sanitizer to wipe down the machines. The showers all say out of order and I was told by a staff that they work just fine it’s just no one wants to clean them. People don’t put the weights back. It’s really gone down hill. Such a disappointment

Our experience started out great. But half of the machines have been down since before November. Last year 2021. Its been months and almost the entire back wall of treadmills and elliptical machines have been out for months. Disappointed. You don’t expect to pay and still go to a gym with half of the machines broken.

She claims "someone" chose me to recieve a free week trial 😒 but refused to tell me who. Pretty good. Cheapest option I can find in Boca. The reason it has 3 stars isn't because of the equipment or employees because they sometimes close early specifically today they closed at 5 when on their website it says they are open till 9pm. I drove all the way out to the gym for nothing and this has happened more than once.

They will play games with you to get more money, one location told me I couldn't cancel there which wasn't true. When I did cancel a week before getting charged they said I needed 10 DAYS ahead of time to not be charged... literally never told this only told after I come to cancel the membership for the 3RD TIME. Been coming here for almost 4 years and I will never come back after this abuse.
