This place is always a disaster. The bathrooms are filthy and smell awful, machines are constantly broken, and the locker room has the same dirt and grime sitting in the same spots for days. The front desk staff are completely useless. They prioritize FaceTiming and scrolling TikTok instead of helping members. It doesn’t matter what day or time you come; it’s always slammed, and you’ll be waiting forever for free weights or any machine. Trash.

If negative stars existed, I would give them all. This place doesn’t deserve even one.

I went to the gym only to request information and ended up signing a contract under a lot of pressure. The person who attended me, Jackie, was extremely insistent and persuasive — to the point of making me feel uncomfortable and practically pushed into subscribing. She gave me incomplete and false information — for example, that I wouldn’t be charged until after 30 days — without mentioning that cancellations required a 30-day notice. Meaning those “30 free days” were not real.

When I later tried to cancel the membership, I was told I would still have to pay. On top of that, they kept calling me every day, even after I explained that I just wanted a quiet place to work out without pressure. The entire experience felt manipulative and lacking transparency.

I only went once, and the gym was already overcrowded — even at a random day and time. Clearly, the space is too small for the number of people subscribed.

Fortunately, I didn’t purchase any additional services like a personal trainer, because it was clear their goal was to sell at any cost, not to take care of the customer. Very disappointed, especially after having had an excellent experience before with LA Fitness, where everything was clear and professional from the start — as I even told Jackie at the beginning.

One of the trainers there, Anthony, was extremely rude to me and my friend that frequently work out at this youfit location and are always bringing a lot of good vibes into the space. He decided to approach me with abrasiveness about us using the two machines directly next to each other, not asking us to work in with us but literally cussing me out UNPROVOKED for “hogging machines” (which I literally do not do, I rest maybe 30 seconds to a minute in between my sets). After my response to him, which was that we had another set to do and I know what the rules are in the gym because I’m there all the time, I hit my last set and he again unprovoked stepped to me like he was gonna DO SOMETHING & said “do you have a problem?” And I said “DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM?” Being that I’m a 5’1 and 140 pounds, and he’s a grown ass man 5’9 and like 190-200 lbs, I felt like I had to be as big and loud as possible. I immediately told management, who was entirely dismissive and didn’t follow up or check cameras about the incident. He didn’t get a write up, he was apparently “spoken to” and I had to press management for any kind of information on what their plan was.
I’d also like to state that as a fem queer person, being unprotected in this space by management who is also a queer afab person was extremely disappointing and didn’t create a safe environment. They also give a complete runaround when you try to cancel a membership with them so I feel stuck.

I’d also like to mention that I witnessed with my own eyes this same trainer Anthony fully in session with an older female client, where he allowed her to use a 45lb barbell unsafely, and she then fell off of a bench and he did not help her up. As a trainer myself, this was disturbing to see.

And since we’re here, the abduction machine has been broken for over 3 months.

This is my first time to this YouFit. And you can say I'm some sort of gym guru. I've been to so many LA Fitness locations as well as Planet Fitness locations. But from the minute I walked into YouFit, I was met by Gaby. What a great person to have greeting new and existing members. You know she loves her job because she makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed. She is a definite asset to YouFit.

Now the gym itself. It's not large and I can imagine during peak hours it can get a bit crowded but the quality of the equipment is so much better than any Planet Fitness location anywhere. Even with three new pieces of free weight equipment they added. Their selection of free weight machines rivals even the best LA Fitness. You can see that a lot of thought went into equipping the gym. Most is not only ALL the free weight equipment is superior in design and function. There are plenty of weights for everyone. The DB's are re-racked and not scattered throught out the gym. The members I interacted with where courteous and accommodating. There are plenty of bars, cable machine bars of all shapes and sizes. The water fountain water is actually cold... yes you heard it right. The drinking water is actually cold. Nathrooms are spotless and well stocked. The staff is very friendly starting with Gaby, which is outstanding and a delight to work with.

If you live in the area or are in the area, you owe yourself the time to enjoy a great workout... I can guarantee you will not be dissapointed.

My husband and I typically frequent the Hollywood location, but we recently opted to give Dania a chance. We were thrilled with this upgraded equipments, but unfortunately, the staff here has a rather unpleasant attitude. In particular, Gabby at this location was extremely unwelcoming. Her demeanor left us feeling quite uncomfortable. It's disheartening to be in a place you enjoy and yet feel unwelcome due to the behavior of the employees.

This gym is honestly a mess. The machines are always broken or out of order, which makes working out super frustrating. And don’t even get me started on the young girls!! They are straight-up rude, never greet anyone, and act like they’re too good for everyone else. Except the one with the two color hair black and blonde. She is the only nice one. This gym is always packed. Can't get a good workout in when it's so busy, unless you're OK with waiting. Everyone hogs equipment. Many machines have badly worn spots (usually where arms rest) where there used to be leather, and now it's just exposed foam. You'd think that in a gym this busy, making this much money, that they'd care for the equipment better. Horrible. Cancelled.

The gym is always spotless, and the machines are clearly cared for, which makes workouts feel so much better. The atmosphere has a great energy—welcoming without being overwhelming. Bicep curling machines, both of them are just embarassing looking, painful on the elbos and just disgustingly unsanitary! WTH is wrong with management at this gym? It's obvious no one cares about both machines as the padding has been worn completely through, and for such a long time. This didn't happen overnight...and yet everyone turns a blind eye to the equipment here.

This gym is really falling to the wayside. No Paper napkins to wipe off the machines; no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands; 1 hand dryer not working; cable machines are POS and no one ever checks them to see how they're working; vinyl padding on MANY machines are wearing out....Crunch Hallandale is opening soon and this may be my new gym home. Whoever is in charge of this place isn't doing their job...but I'm sure they're getting paid. Extremely disappointed in how this place has turned out. See my latest photos.

With 80+ gyms in the US, I have to say the one I frequent is the absolute worst by any standard. You’d think we’re in the hood but we’re in a nice area called Dania.

Today April 11, I counted 5 machines out of order with many of them in the current state for almost a month. What a complete disgrace.

@youfitgyms @youfitdania Why don’t you guys just sell all your locations to @crunchgym who does a much better job than you all. What a shame.

As of today 4/16/2024, all of the machines that were previously not functioning have now all been repaired. Thanks to the management getting this done. Now hopefully these types of things can be more carefully observed rather than being neglected until an asshole complains.

I had a very upsetting experience at this location. Last night, the general manager jackie accused me of smoking in the bathroom, which I absolutely did not do. I even told her she could call the police and search me because I had nothing to hide. Despite that, she still revoked my membership on the spot.

I feel extremely offended and disrespected by how I was treated. Making false accusations against paying members without any proof is unprofessional and unacceptable. I came to the gym to work out, not to be accused of something I didn’t do.

I hope corporate takes this seriously because no one should have to go through this type of treatment.

I really fought with myself about whether or not I wanted to leave this review but decided to do it anyways because clearly the gym doesn’t care so why should I.

Been coming to the gym for over a year. Never had any issues worth mentioning - there’s always things you can complain about. Been gone for a month, came back and found that the fitness room had locks on it. When I asked the front desk what was going on, they told me that from now on the fitness room will be locked unless there is a scheduled class because too many people were bringing equipment in and out of that room without putting it back in its place and it was becoming too difficult for them every night when they closed up. Read that again.

I have never been to a gym where everyone puts their weights up and can’t believe management would give in to its “staff” complaints. Part of working at a gym is to “maintain it”. Maybe if everyone at the front got off their phones and stopped socializing and did hourly rounds by the end of the night everything would be taken care of (yeah I said it). You want to promote a healthy lifestyle? Why don’t you lead by example and do something. It was also made clear that this was the “only” location that is doing this.

So many people use the fitness room to stretch, work with free weights, dance, box, ect. You can find machines/weights at any gym - but this room is huge and sets the gym apart from all the others.

As a female it’s nice to not have to always be in the bull pen and be in a space where there’s more room and you can be on the ground without worrying about being trampled. That being said, this is the most ridiculous thing I have come across in a long time. Seriously disappointed is an understatement.

This gym has gotten progressively worse since it has opened. It was fresh and new at first but quickly the machines have gotten run down from lack of general maintenance and they ALWAYS run out of wipes to clean the equipment. They also recently locked the exercise room which was the only quiet place I could stretch in peace. If they cared about their members they wouldn’t let the machines get into such terrible condition and do a better job at cleaning up the gym. Sadly there’s not much options for other gyms in this area.

This gym makes it almost impossible to cancel. Spoke with rep who said since I signed the contract I was hooked for the full year even if I've only been there once over the last 8 months I would still have to pay the rest of the contract if I wanted to cancel. Also you have to call a 3rd party to cancel and provide a 30 day notice which ends up in more money in their pocket since they will charge you once more during that 30 day period. Very predatory billing practices, they dont tell you any of this before you sign up. Stay away at all costs.

The air was poisoned with crystalline silica dust which by OSHA is a health and safety violation. An employee named autumn stated she wasn't going to stay past 2 am for the work to be done. My friend asked to speak to a manager and she refused to give us a number and name as if she was in charge we took a video and we will present this evidence along with timeline of everything that transpired. Also we will point out that tile was being cut while the gym had many people working out. we came on Friday we checked in and half an hour later police told us to leave they don't want us there however we weren't given any trespassing warnings or anything in paper however we have a video that shows youfit caused serious negligence by allowing to carpenters to work on a tile floor on Business hours. Clearly youfit policy states that this can never happen on business hours putting other people's lives in danger. There was a big dust cloud of crystalline silica a big safety hazard caught on video.

This gym is always filthy no matter what day in the week. Bathrooms don’t have soap, you gotta wonder all the equipment that everyone touches after getting out of the bathroom and the amount of germs spreading around. Showers have never seen a drop of cleaning products, you will never see a single YouFit employee cleaning at this location. You Fitness/ ABC Fitness Solutions USE PREDATORY BILLING PRACTICES I could not visit any YouFit facilities months due to knee injury and work out of State relocation. However, they didn't allow me to cancel my men have a membership even though I emailed them proof of new residence and dosct's notes. YouFit outsources memberships management with ABCFitness. I've been going to this gym for awhile now . When it use to have that god awful purple and neon green color. The equipment is old as hell. Something broken everytime i come to the gym. The water filter on the water machine is often dirty and left like that for days. There is a woman in the front with black hair, she use to be blonde, she is straight up rude. She wont greet you, always on her phone but god forbid you dont sign in or your 1 day late on your payment now she got sumn to say. Most of the staff friendly otherwise pretty chill. I’ve been a member for 6 months and the men’s bathroom/ locker area always smells rancid. A combination of urine, sweat and feces. I have to breathe through my mouth just so the smell doesn’t stay with my senses for hours after. It’s worse than the smell of death !

I’ve been going here for a year. The “renovation” was a joke. Only cosmetic things were renovated. The few new pieces of equipment they got are not maintained. The cleanliness is terrible here. Towels often out to wipe machines. Machines have build up of dirt, dust and skin flakes from days prior. Staff refuses to do anything about it. There will be 4 people at desk on their phones while the gym is in shambles. There is zero accountability here. Members vape on the gym floor, don’t re rack weights and leave it a mess. I do NOT recommend.

The great part about this gym is it is FULLY equipped! Some of the bad is that it is always busy (even at 6 AM) For some reason, a lot of the people here do not rack their weights, and if they do, it’s racked in the wrong spot or inconveniently. Those things are not entirely Youfit’s fault. The men’s bathroom has a terrible stench to it. Could Youfit probably get rid of the smell? Yes, but it’s a bathroom, it’s not going to smell great all the time. The worst thing about this place is corporate and the staff. I think corporate is setting the staff to fail. My first week there I took my fiancee to try the facility using a free guest pass. The employee told her to: “just buy the guest pass ($8-10), it’s easier. Getting you the free one takes too long” It’s not the employee’s fault the free one’s take a while (20-30 min) to generate, but to be so nonchalant was odd. I got a survey asking how my first week was and wrote my bathroom comment and the experience we had regarding the guest pass. I got an email the following Thursday from Carrie, one of the managers, at 6:30 AM saying she “recently called me but was unable to reach” me and to please contact her at the facility. I called the same day and Carrie was gone for the weekend… By this time, it’s the third week and I decide youfit is the right fit for me so I inquired about canceling. An Employee told me to call their customer service and showed me their sign of a third party customer service company. I call the (foreign) agency and they told me my final balance with the annual fee. I spoke to a supervisor wondering if the annual fee could be waived or prorated. To cancel, you need to do so with 30 days in advance so I needed to pay for the next month and the annual fee even though I wanted to cancel within my first month. I was told they were the billing department (not customer service) and she would need to contact youfit and would reach out to me-yeah, never happened. I called the facility and Spoke to Peter, a manager, he reasoned with me, saw where I was coming from, but told me he had to submit a request to corporate to waive it. It got denied two-three weeks later. Oh, and in my second (and last) month I was billed $20 more because my credit card didnt “accept” the charge the first day of the month, but it did the second day (because of course they didnt stop trying to bill the card). They can’t waive that though and I wasn’t notified of the issue. So in all, I paid $160 to use the facility for two months wanting to cancel within the first month. Just sad

it has a great location, but the place is badly designed...too many cardio machines and power platforms, therefore it has a relative small free weight and machine area and they have too many machines for a certain body part and just one for other body parts and those are regular out of order or you can't get to them because so many people try to use them....Some equipment is good and others are inadequate.

It's one of the worst gyms I've ever attended. Good luck on getting a workout in between 4 and 7 o'clock in the gym. There is not enough equipment for the number of people that go there. Everybody's scrambling for free weights, dumbbells, ropes, and whatever equipment you can think of people are just scrambling all over the gym for equipment. There isn’t enough that I can say about this gym. Cleanly. Employees are friendly and willing to help. They aren’t PUSHY with add on’s with your membership. The free weights are available most of the time. The machines tend to break, but are normally fixed after my next 1-2 visits. Most of all…I am not a fan of public restrooms…but somehow whenever I HAVE TO go, the restroom is clean! Definitely my favorite YouFit in Broward County!

I had an absolutely terrible experience here. From the very beginning, they made promises they never kept. During my initial interview, they assured me I would receive guidance on my meal plan, which never happened. Then, they charged me twice for the initial enrollment fee and refused to issue a refund at first, insisting on keeping the money as credit.

When I decided to cancel my membership, they conveniently failed to inform me that I needed to give a 30-day notice to avoid another charge. To make things worse, when I started personal training, the trainer clearly lacked the necessary knowledge to guide me properly. And when I finally tried to cancel my membership, they didn’t process my request, forcing me to wait another 30 days and pay for an extra month.

It’s clear that this gym only cares about taking your money and has zero interest in providing quality service. If you’re considering joining, DO NOT make the mistake I did. Find a gym with better reviews and avoid this nightmare!

When I tried to deal with the situation in person all I got was a run-around.

I want my money back because I feel that they led me to believe something that was not true, and honestly the sessions I *did* receive with the personal trainers were subpar compared to my past experience when I was a charter member of Scandinavian which later became Bally's. This is not my first rodeo! I am strongly considering a lawsuit against them for fraud.

I like the gym, but to reiterate what another reviewer mentioned, the recent renovation was disappointing. Most notably, the dumbbells are hard to find because there is no signage on the rack where the weights belong, so they are just placed wherever. That and there does seem to be less of the smaller weights. Additionally, the management of the gym doesn’t prioritize the health of its members. There is often no soap in the restroom which is just gross. The filter on the water fountain is often in need of replacement for too long before replacement. The gym itself is nice and the staff is kind, but I do wish they would focus on these small things.

Horrible experience! I have been trying to cancel my membership for several weeks now and have been sent back fourth between the actual club and a customer care phone number and email address. I have requested the cancelation on numerous occasions in a timely manner so I do not get billed and they have not processed the request. No one has called me back from management either. Sad about the renovation. The gym was closed for a few weeks and when it reopened, the only difference was the paint, 2 more stair masters and LESS dumbbells for the weights most people use. It’s so hard to find the dumbbells you need for your workouts because of the replacements of less of the smaller weight sizes. This is a high traffic gym and it’s hard to get your workout in comfortably, especially now with less equipment. Staff is pretty nice however, sometimes they also will throw your water bottles and energy drinks away and start closing up shop before the actual closing time.

As a solo female I never have to feel intimidated or worried about my environment when these 3 are working, Josh always greets me and sends me home with a smile and bright spirit. I appreciate his work ethic in keeping the environment clean and tidy, and his ability to work under pressure to help every member even when it is busy. Xavier is always open to answer any and all of my fitness questions without feeling judged, and Peter is always available to make sure I am okay, I have what I need, and am at peace to ensure a successful workout every time. His accommodating, willing and helpful attitude helps everyone around.

This location is also in a well lit area, Dania Pointe and has a large parking lot with constant security so I always feel safe leaving the gym at late hours. Thank you Youfit Dania for allowing me a safe space to heal and be better, I truly appreciate it.

Tonight I went to a spinning class for the first time in my life was so embarrassed. The instructor told me I could not record myself or he would to take my phone. First of all, I’m not a child and second of all who the hell are you? I can understand people not wanting to be in a video which is why I had the video on just myself. I am recording my weight loss journey. Maybe if he pulled me to the side and said hey please don’t record. I would’ve took it differently, but he said it in the front of the class on stage loud.
This was so unprofessional and he started a class eight minutes late. I only could take about 20 minutes of the class. I was not prepared for the small seats, my butt was hurting to bad.

Today I couldn't have a good workout because the person who was near me had a camera with a tripod in front of my face and I didn't want him to record me. I don't understand why this gym doesn't have some regulations regarding this... it's very uncomfortable that you're doing exercises and another person has a camera in front of your face... I want to beg the owner and manager of this amazing Dania location to please fix the air conditioning in the classroom. Imagine high intensity classes and zumba with no air conditioning you feel dizzy, and nauseated and you can't fully enjoy the workout or do all of the exercises at 100% because it is too hot. Where to start? This gym sent me to collections for two supposed fictitious debts that they invented due to malfunction and mismanagement within their team. The first was a supposed debt for which I was given the right and removed from collections, and I canceled my membership. A few months later, they claim I owe more money for the supposed membership they canceled, sending me to collections again and affecting my credit score. These people are poorly organized. It’s a lack of respect.

On top of all that, today I received a call from a so-called Peter, manipulating and extorting me, telling me they would remove me from the supposed debt I don't owe if I re-enroll with them and pay an initiation fee plus at least one month's membership. That’s called manipulation.

So, dear Mr. Peter, manipulator of this gym, and the entire management of this gym, you are terrible at customer service. I hope absolutely no one decides to join this particular YouFit or any YouFit. The customer service at this place is disappointing, and the unforgivable and stupid consequences they cause are unacceptable.

Sauna in the men's locker room hasn't work for 3 months. Water fountain has never worked only putting out hot water (tea water). Showers only have hot water so if you want to take a cold shower you are out of luck. When a machine breaks it takes 2 months to be fixed. We don't need a swimming pool nor a racket ball court like in LA FITNESS but we need the equipment to work and be repaired in a timely manner. The staff is super friendly and the gym is kept clean thanks to them. That's why I give it 2 stars otherwise it would only be 1 star.

The front desk was very nice and helpful. This gym has the feel of a Crunch gym. The machines and dumbbells are similar to that of crunch. I went at 7:30am on a Thursday. Waited about 5 minutes for a squat rack. The lifting platforms are better than that of crunch. The Barbells have better knurling than that of crunch. Overall good experience. Only zonks for this gym is they have off brand row machines. Anyone that uses that machine knows concept 2 is the gold standard. They had an assault bike pro there which I was excited to use post my lifts but the bike is complete off the base of the bike and the monitor does not work. This bike should be out of commission and replaced.

Absolutely awful staff - awful strong arm, loanshark tactics. I went to this gym since the day it opened. And its gotten worse and worse every year. I would still go within the year as it is very accessible from my house, but my last experience was the last straw. The water machines are ALWAYS broken. I didn't bring my wallet in and i asked the front desk attendant "hey the water machine is broken any where i can grab some water" bro didnt even break a sweat and snapped back at me "uh u can buy one". Buddy still works there one with face tats. Not the first time he was rude to me. Theres many many many more instances i could go over as Ive been going to this gym since around the time it opened. Trying cancel your membership here is almost impossible, but not they i told my bank to decline their charges they bombard my phone every single day with spam calls. I don't understand how i cant just cancel my membership on the spot. Please don't waste your time or money it will always end in headache. Ps if you actually wanted to keep my business don't treat me like an animal when I ask for a basic necessities. Again that wasn't the only instance of the staff being rude but the most recent one (not all staff are rude I've known a couple in the past)

Been with this gym since November of last year and it is great. The facilities are clean, lots of equipment, and the atmosphere is polite. I’d give 10 stars if I could because of Coach JC, he made the gym the best experience I’ve had. I hired him as personal trainer and lost almost 40 lbs, learned what I need to do to earn the body I want, and kept me motivated. I like the location of the gym and overall setting. The major downside is the bathrooms and lover’s unsatisfactory maintenance. The bathrooms are disgusting with blood on the seats and walls, no toilet paper. The showers smell like mildew, some of the lovers are broken. The movie theatre often doesn’t play movies. Low costs gyms are just that low cost so I understand you get what you pay for. However, I've attended this for about 2 weeks and in the 2 week stretch multiple machines are inoperable and out of service, the men's locker room is pretty much missing a bunch of doors, and the lockers themselves are run down. The water bubbler is falling apart and the clientele themselves are what you would expect at a low cost membership gym, unaware of gym etiquette. Finding weights that are on the rack is nearly impossible and spread out all over the floor. Between the early hours 8-10am and 6-10pm is almost impossible to work out due to capacity being high.

It's a cheap membership gym so if saving money is what you're looking for its the place, just don't expect to be able to enjoy the facility or get a full routine of workout done in one shot without long wait times for machines and going on a scavenger hunt for proper weights.

I’ve witnessed people getting in without paying memberships since the staff don’t bother to check you in. If this wasn’t a new business it would be falling apart for lack of care and upkeep. The trash cans are always overflowing, the sanitizer spray always empty, weights aren’t re-racked, filthy fans, bathrooms are out of toilet paper and dirty, equipment strewn about the gym and never return to its original place, most of the TVs are broken, and all of the clocks are wrong. Daylight savings time was 3 weeks ago.
By the way there is a homeless person who stays in the locker room always sleeping on the bench mostly everyday.
