I usually enjoy working out here, but lately the gym has looked dirty and unhygienic. One major concern is the torn benches in the weight area, exposed padding isn’t just uncomfortable, it poses a safety and hygiene risk. I hope management takes better care of the equipment and overall cleanliness for the safety and comfort of all members.

It’s been more than a month, and nothing has been updated yet. It’s even worse now, even the mirrors are dirty.
I shouldn’t have to reach out to the staff directly, management needs to take action to resolve this issue. Those torn benches are a health hazard and could lead to skin infections.

If like me you’re used to Barry’s Boot Camp or SoulCycle or ClassPass it can be difficult to find something similar in Kendall - specifically West Kendall. However this YouFit boasts a personal trainer called Daniel who provides me the same level of service, strength conditioning and structured coaching that I am used to. Highly recommend.

Edit: Unfortunately, I have to edit my review from 5 to 3 stars due to inflexible billing practices. The gym does not allow you to “pause” membership so they continue to charge you even if you cannot attend - even if you have to travel due to a death in the family. It’s also an incredibly difficult and frustrating experience to change your plan. If an escalation occurs, they give you the phone number to ABC Fit, HQ, who are notorious (Google ABC Fit’s terrible reviews online) for not helping. At the moment, I’m waiting for documents from my bank to dispute a surprise $180 charge in my account. Again.

Overall, it’s an average 3-star rated gym. I was too quick and naive to presume a 5-star review.

Edit 2: In person people at the gym are untrained to deal with holding company ABCFit. Assured me my account was cancelled in person when in reality it was not. Accrued $225 in late fees. Did not receive any email communication on these fees. One star gym.

The place at Richmond Heights is average. But their billing system ABC Fitness Solutions is outsourced and the do not comply. If a person requests cancellation today the process should stated cancelled as of today 11/22/2024. But they didn’t due it. The just put you in a pending cancellation for a whole month this way the can keep charging you and not make a reimbursement and also charge another $10.00 for a pending cancellation in the day they desire to do it. Be careful and have your contract at hand because they don’t comply with standard practices. Operator handling the cancellations Kim ID KCUP01. She said she was the manager but at the end tresukt is that cancellation is under status of pending not as the date you requested. Customer Service is horrible the first operator was Ann and then she put me with Kim.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with YouFit that I believe reflects unethical business practices. I signed up for a monthly gym plan as a gift for my husband and me. During the sign-up on February 21, the salesperson, Alexander Planas, assured me that I wouldn't be charged until March. However, I was charged on February 24. When I requested a cancellation due to an unexpected work relocation, I was told by Alexander that cancellations could only be processed through a third-party service over the phone. The representative I spoke with informed me that I was locked into a contract, which I had never verbally agreed to with YouFit.

Despite escalating the issue with the third-party billing service, I was unable to cancel the contract. Alexander, who was present during the call, acknowledged that I had only requested a monthly plan and had explicitly stated that I did not want to be tied to a contract. Nevertheless, I now find myself being contacted by creditors and owing YouFit over $300, despite never having used the facility. This situation has damaged my credit, and YouFit has refused to take any action to resolve the matter since February.

This experience has been not only frustrating but also detrimental to my financial well-being. It is both absurd and shameful that a company would operate in this manner.

I've found YouFit Hammocks to be an excellent place for my health journey. The location is always clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. My trainer, Kevin, has been fantastic. He tailors his training to strengthen injured body parts, which has been incredibly beneficial for me. I've had tender knees for a long time, and thanks to Kevin's expertise, we've strengthened my legs, and I no longer experience knee pain. If you're considering YouFit Hammocks, I highly recommend asking for Kevin. He's great!✨✨✨

This gym is over capacity. You will wait 15-20 minutes to use a bench from 4-8 pm. When people get a bench, they will use it for over 45 minutes. When you ask how many sets, they will tell you 15 sets. Then they will spend 5 minutes on their phone between sets. Same wait time for all machine and equipment's. I realize 4-8 is a busy time, but I have memberships at other gyms and this is not the case, even during peak hours. In addition, I have never seen this wait time at any other

The machines are never unracked. People will leave 5 x 45 plates on the leg press and just walk away.

Groups of 5-6 younger adults will stand at the squat rack for 45 minutes and 2 of them will do a set of squats. The rest of the time they just stand around chatting.

There are plates thrown everywhere - major tripping hazard. The place is a mess.

The place is hot and smells terrible.

There is no staff presence on the floor other than personal trainers who are focused solely on their clients. The rest of the staff is laughing and chatting behind the desk. They do not come out on the floor, they do not enforce gym etiquette or clean up plates. Blank stares and no response when you share your concerns.

The soap dispensers in the bathrooms have been broken since September.

From week to week it gets busier and busier. And this is not just a January/resolution problem. It has been like this for many many months. They need more space or to somehow cap membership.

I am considering ending my membership here.

This is the gym with the worse etiquette I have ever been to in my life. People try to reserve machines, work out on a machine while leaving their bag on another machine so they can occupy both, nobody re racks weights, the dumbbells are left all over the gym and the staff does not do anything, say anything or pick anything up.

I’ve been going to this gym for almost a year now. I have gone to other gyms, but none to compare with this gym. They are very well organized and have an amazing staff as well as a friendly location. I’ve made many friends due to this gym including staff members and everyday regulars. I’ve never been to a gym that where people help you mature your form, until I came here. If you ever need some sort of help, you can count on any staff member. They are all highly responsible. I like the enthusiasm that the workers have when it comes to the gym. You want to cut? They can help you. You want to bulk? They can help you. You need a healthy nutritious diet? They can help you. Whatever it is, they can help you. I have met many gym goers here and not once have we confronted an issue in this gym. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to workout and have fun.

I have been coming to this gym since I moved to West Kendall in 2018. The gym itself gets very packed (as most gyms do during peak hours). However, the biggest difference here is the staff. Incredible staff, clean equipment, and friendly people. If you are looking into coming back to the gym do yourself a favor and ask about the HIIT classes, both my wife and I have been coming to these classes with some other members and the coaches Danny and Damiane are incredible, and precise to make sure everyone is achieving their own personal goals. These 2 coaches have been able to help both my wife and I achieve goals in just a few months that we haven't been able to in years. We love Youfit and will definitely be continuing working out even once we hit our 1 year goal.

my visit was very welcome, love the ambiance -the way a gym should be, a young generation, loved the "clan clan" of the equipment, some working out others chatting and laughing I felt 60 years younger, I plan to join but will attend when they return to school.

Nice gym but several machines had missing clip on handles and could not be used. Others had missing adjusting knobs and you had to pull the exposed screw to make adjustments.

YouFit gyms offer the full range of equipment like 90 degree bench, preacher bench, Olympic bars/ ez-bars, etc. This location is the most spacious in the area. Only premium memberships are available here. Unfortunately, the opening hours are a bit limited during the weekend.
