Todo el q quiera sentirse estafado q venga a este gym, das tu tarjeta, supuestamente no pueden procesar el pago a fin de mes pero luego una semana después te cobran la membresía más una tarifa por demora en el pago, así me pasó y cuando fui a cancelar, no se podía en el gym, debía hacerlo por teléfono, mi pregunta es, YO ME INSCRIBÍ POR TELÉFONO? todo un problema, fui en varias ocasiones a explicar lo q pasaba y nadie te hace caso, luego me mandaron a colección porque según les debía 215 dólares y yo hacía 5 meses q no iba a ese lugar, pagué y con el tiempo decidí ir nuevamente creyendo q las cosas estaban mejor, y para mi sorpresa todo fue peor, a todo lo anterior súmale equipos rotos, baños en mal estado, calor, y mas de 39 minutos al teléfono esperando un represéntate para cancelar, lo hacen a propósito, como es el número de cancelar, nadie te atiende esperando q te aburras y así poderte seguir estafando por un servicio q no quieres ni usas

I’ve been a member for over 5 years. This place is ridiculously full every time. You are not supposed to pay a membership and then have to wander around waiting for a machine to be available, which is almost impossible. Also, most of the machines are outdated.
***I should NOT have to wait to for specific times of the day not to have to wait for an equipment. Today is 04/16/25 and I just find myself walking around the gym again not being able to workout because everything is taken.

Update:
Today is 08/26/25 and the same issue continues. The gym is packed and I can’t find an available machine. On top of that, the music is super loud and the AC is really high and it’s hot. The only reason I have kept my membership is because this is literally less than 2 blocks from my house, but I DON’T recommend this gym to anyone.

The people are nice. Bring your headphones unless you want to hear horrible reggaeton music all of the time. Most disappointing part of this gym is that it doesn’t matter what time it is, the weights are always a disaster and scattered throughout the gym. You spend more time looking for the weights than actually lifting them.

The men’s bathroom stall lock here has been broken since the day I started lifting. Pretty sure it’s now a permanent design choice. The dumbbell rack has a mysterious smell that creeps from one end to the other like it’s training for a marathon.

I’m giving this place 2 stars only because it’s YouFit, the membership is cheap, and it’s close to my house. Otherwise, this gym is a biological hazard. I go at 5 AM when it’s quiet, but after 5 PM it looks like a weight tornado hit dumbbells scattered to every corner like they were launched in a military exercise. The staff? Professional chillers. Never seen one pick up a weight in my life.

If you like affordable memberships, short commutes, and the faint aroma of mystery in your workouts, this is your spot. If you like clean, organized gyms… keep driving.

I have been a member of this gym for over 3 years, I go on weekly basis, five days a week. Is a typical gym, but the major issue is that they don't keep napkins in place for members, so if you go any given day and they don't have paper to wipe the machines out you have to end up getting someone else's sweat all over your hands and back if you do weights, I think they should have cleaning the basic essentials for their members to ecersice without worrying about dirty or filth.

I recently became a member at the YouFit location in Hialeah, having previously visited the Hollywood branch as a guest. I currently hold a membership with Planet Fitness, but I was hoping YouFit would be a more convenient option closer to home.

While I was impressed with the quality of the machines, I was extremely disappointed with the overall condition of the facility. The bathroom was absolutely unacceptable—the odor was so intense it could be smelled before even opening the door. Additionally, the gym floor was in disarray: dumbbells and exercise accessories were scattered everywhere, posing a serious safety hazard.

I gave the gym multiple chances, visiting at different times—once even as early as 5 a.m.—but the conditions remained exactly the same. It’s clear this isn’t an isolated issue caused by high traffic; it’s a sign of poor management and neglect.

With all due respect, it seems the general manager is not maintaining the facility properly. This is more than a customer inconvenience—it’s a potential health and safety violation. I would like to speak with someone at a higher level about this matter, as I feel this issue needs immediate attention and lasting resolution.

Can you please provide me with the contact information for the general manager or someone at the corporate level? Based on what I’ve observed and heard, it appears that cleanliness and organization have been ongoing concerns at this location for quite some time. It’s not enough to tell customers improvements will be made—action must actually be taken.

The place has the worst gym culture I’ve experienced since I started lifting. Employees are not rude, but very nonchalant and always on their phones chilling at the reception. Weights are always scattered, unorganized, and you can spend 10 minutes just trying to get the equipment together before properly starting your workout. It always smells weird in there too, especially the bathrooms, they’re disgusting. I transferred to this gym since it’s so close to me but I am on my way to pines location right now to switch back, the 35 minute drive outweighs the convenience just for the sake of a good experience. It’s a gym, it shouldn’t be too hard to run it effectively you just need a captain who’s gonna care about building proper gym etiquette, that includes teaching your clientele how to take care of this gym for everyone else sharing it.

Editing my review as of 4/19/25:
This gym continues to be disgusting, the smell of the men’s bathroom leaks into the gym floor 🤢 gym equipment is dusty and old, the music is ASS and I can hear it through my headphones, also my previous review gets a response from ownership saying to “not visit during peak” but even when there’s less than 20 people in the gym the equipment is scattered, disorganized, and overall just a wreck. The dumbbell rack is damaged so you can’t even place the 30s on their designated spot, the mirrors are filthy, and there’s never any paper towels in the machines on the pillars for me to wipe down equipment when I’m done using it.
This store is the only YouFit I’ve seen consistently have issues like this, I’ll gladly be filling out paperwork to switch back to the pines location I’d rather drive an extra 20 minutes for proper service and gym culture.

Bonus story: when I originally tried transferring to this store they told me I needed to fill out forms at my “home store” that I can’t just transfer through them, when I went to my home store they informed me every YouFit has the forms available to do transfers and it does not have to be from a home store, in fact it’s encouraged to fill paperwork out at the new store. When I told them I had just come from this awful Hialeah location they said don’t worry about it and helped me do the transfer over there. Overall: this store needs new management, and more likely than not an overhaul of the staff in general.

I’ve been coming here for a good 5 months and only today did look down on the middle of a set and realize how disgusting these machines are. The dust just piles up in the corners to show just how long it’s been since they last wiped it down.
regardless of the fact that there’s probably hundreds of paying members every day this place is the dirtiest I’ve ever been to.

This gym is a joke
Updating this now to say I decided to officially stop coming. Everytime I go they have a reserved sign blocking the only room there is to stretch with open space, mats etc. There’s no way I’m paying this membership and not have full access to that, it’s the most inconvenient thing when the gym is busy because then you have the be the one hogging a bench to do Bulgarians, or have to find a crowded spot to do push ups/anything that’s not a machine.

I’ve been a Youfit client for over 3 years now. And I have visited several of them across Florida

I have a lot to say

I can confidently tell you this is by far one of the DIRTIEST and NASTIEST Youfit you will ever encounter. I have included actual pictures that prove this (all of the pictures were taken on the same day)

Male restroom is looks like a horror movie. Dirty all the time like in the pictures. You will barely find soap here, It’s like 90% of the time there is no soap to wash your hands with

Ventilation ducts are a threat to all allergic people over there, full of dust like nobody in staff goes around looking at them

Machines full of dust, missing paint and also missing cement on walls. You can see that they don’t even care to do the minimum which is wiping the mirrors clean

Good luck trying to find a pair of 30 lb between 5-8 pm they only have like 2 sets of 30lb and one set of each between 20-90. So Imagine the most popular dumbells never touch the rack they are being used all the time.

Music here is so bad that people often collectively complain in the back of the gym about how annoying and anticlimactic it is. Seriously they play Dominican dembow and Bad Bunny and all the trap “music” full of obscenity.
I’ve let front desk know about this and their answer was “we can’t please everyone’s music taste” … l was like, dude, nobody likes to workout to dominican dembow, they are literally complaining in the back right now…
Refuses to accommodate to the majority of the clients and people kept complaining silently

You will often find machines that don’t work and there is this particular cable chest fly machine that has been broken for more than a year, easily (you can’t set it to 1 plate, it only goes from 2 up on the right side, making my wife who is not very strong unable to use it)

Also the scale is not what you would call precise

This gym smells like you can imagine it does by looking at the pics. There is a lot more to say and show but this is already too long. Management deserves ZERO stars for the lack of care

If you got somewhere else to workout I highly suggest that you go there. Unfortunately for me time is a factor and this is the closest gym to where Im at.

This Youfit is small, but has everything one needs for efficient workouts. Some other reviews have pointed out that the weights tend to be scattered; that it's a mess, but you can't blame the gym staff for people's lack of self-government. They do their best to reorganize when they're able. One thing is the bathroom is pretty nasty, they could do a better job of taking care of it. The hand soap runs out and sometimes for days it seems nobody bothers to refill. Stalls tend to be broken and taped up a lot. Aside from the bathroom, though, the actual gym is kept relatively clean. Since it's small, though, it's not recommended that you come during peak hours (4:30 - 8:00 PM) or you'll have am extremely difficult time getting a workout because of the immense crowd. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, the gym is decent for being the only Youfit in Hialeah.

Este gimnasio es una total estafa y no lo recomiendo a nadie. Mi experiencia fue terrible desde el principio, a pesar de que inicialmente parecen amables y profesionales. Todo es una fachada.

1. Documentos engañosos:
Te hacen firmar contratos largos y confusos sin explicar los términos. Por ejemplo, si decides cancelar, debes pagar el 50% de lo que te falte de tu suscripción, algo que nunca te mencionan.

2. Incremento de tarifas:
Si contratas un entrenador personal, te dan un precio inicial, pero lo van aumentando sin que te des cuenta. Llegué a pagar $400 mensuales por el entrenador, más $50 de suscripción, y cuando intenté cancelar, me pidieron $3,000 por darme de baja tras solo un mes y medio de uso.

3. Cobros fraudulentos:
Aunque cancelé, siguieron descontando dinero de mi cuenta, incluso cambiando temporalmente el nombre de la compañía para evadir bloqueos del banco. Esto es denunciable.

4. Pésimas condiciones:
Las instalaciones están en mal estado: baños sucios, máquinas rotas, y los entrenadores no cumplen su trabajo, dedicando más tiempo a otros clientes a pesar de lo que pagas.

Conclusión:
YouFit es un lugar deplorable, con prácticas deshonestas y una total falta de respeto hacia los clientes. No lo recomiendo y planeo denunciar sus prácticas. Evita este lugar a toda costa.

I signed up for personal training sessions with this gym and it was a 6-month contract after the 6 months were up I tried cancelling the training sessions, but it's been over 2 months and they haven't cancelled it, so I am being charged for something that I want to cancel and I'm not even doing anymore. I tried getting in contact with Manager and emailed many HR workers and apparently no one is able to help me. They just say I have to wait for it to process naturally. YOUFIT IS A SCAM!

Comparto la mala opinión que se han reflejado aquí, mi experiencia en este lugar pésima, se burlaron de mi rebajando mensualmente una cantidad superior a la acordada después del cambio de plan q hice, meses haciéndome ir al gym y diciéndome q en el próximo cobro se arreglaría y nunca lo hicieron, no me dejaron más opción q darme baja. El calor es impresionante, en cualquier momento abra un virus respiratorio con tantas personas sudando,además van personas de edad avanzada que les puede ocasionar un problema porq la temperatura es muy cálida a veces faltan las servilletas para secar el sudor,y el bebedero se rompe con frecuencia, si se paga por un servicio pues debería estar mejor por demás el gimnasio tiene equipos variados

Llevo un mes ya en este gym. No fue hasta que vi otros gyms que me di cuenta de lo demasiado caro que es pa lo poco que ofrece. Debes ir demasiado temprano en la mañana para no encontrarlo lleno, hay pocos equipos y poco espacio. Hay un tipo que a veces va a drogarse en el baño, que están un poco sucios. No recomiendo bañarte ni venir a este gym. Al menos a este en específico

No tienen buena higiene en los baños, se tardan en reparar las máquinas dañadas y la música que ponen es horriblemente vulgar parace que uno está en una discoteca, deben ser más ocasional en el tema de la música es un GYM no una discoteca ! 👎👎👎

Worst youfit in the area by far. I live 2 minutes from this location, yet still drive 30 minutes to either flagler or pines location. Most machines don't function properly or are flat out broken. Including a lot of treadmills and stairmasters. Finding a pair of dumbells of the same weight is a quest to say the least. They are scattered everyone. This location is very neglected and poorly maintained. Youfit has great locations but this one awful. I have no negative experiences with employees. Just very neglected and broken down location. It needs investing in.

Muy descontento!!! hasta 3 maquinas fuera de servicio !!! Las otras con mucho desgaste,como que no dan mantenimiento y para que arreglen algo demora una eternidad. Un mal olor como a animal muerto en la parte donde se colocan los dumbells, ahora cierran un area q supuestamente para unas clases de 4 a 10 donde limitan el espacio para hacer otros ejercicios esa hora q es la de mayor demanda y cuando miras para la clase lo que están haciendo cuento los entrenadores. I used to love going to this gym 4 years ago when I started out. Lately it’s been getting worse. Theres almost never any soap in the bathroom, and the bathroom always has an unpleasant smell that reeks. The gym is always packed now at all times of the day. This gym has a huge people problem. Weights are never re-racked and I find myself having to go on a scavenger hunt to find any weights extending my workout time from 1hr to 2. On top of that a lot of the people that go here will hog up 2-3 machines at once super setting which is extremely selfish and a huge inconvenience especially when the gyms are packed. I used to be able to get my workouts done efficiently but not anymore. The gym is also very small which is not really anyones fault but I don't know how its meant to accommodate the overpopulation of Hialeah. The parking is horrible, people shopping at the sedanos leave their carts all over the parking lot so good luck on a windy day but again that not the fault of the gym. This gym has so many inconveniences that I'm debating driving 30 minutes instead of 13 to go a gym in Pembroke Pines.

I have been going to the Hialeah Youfit for almost a year and I like the atmosphere and the friendly staff but certain things are getting worse. Ex: most of the times there is no soap in the restrooms.
Treadmills and bikes should be each checked for proper operation, some are noisy, programs not working as they are supposed to, etc.
At the end of my contract I will see If I renew the contract or not.

busque otro gym, en mi caso pagué una membresía q se supone era de 23 dólares y teniendo 900 dólares en la tarjeta daba decline hasta en 5 o 6 ocaciones según ellos, debido a eso le sumaban cargos y luego por arte de magia hacían el cobro a la tarjeta de 76 dólares por pagos atrasados, además de eso avisé por teléfono q cancelaran mi suscripción porque me iba a Tampa y para mi sorpresa a los 5 meses me llaman de colección q debía 253 dólares al gym les dije q no debía nada y me reportaron al buró de crédito, SON UNOS LADRONES ESTAFADORES, Y NI TE MOLESTES EN LLAMAR PARA QUEJARTE Q NADIE NUNCA SE HACE CARGO DE NADA, SIMPLEMENTE TE ROBAN Y LISTO

I’ve been coming to Youfit gym in Hialeah since last year and I am very happy. Ernesto has been so helpful with answering all of my questions. He is very attentive to everyone there. I see him every day that I go always happy and making sure everyone is having a great workout. The gym is so organized and clean. All the machines are maintained properly and fixed right away if any have issues. The entire staff is so attentive and friendly from the front Fabio to Alejandro the trainer as well. Ernesto does an amazing job managing this location.

My partner has been trying to cancel his membership SINCE SEPTEMBER 2023. Every time he called, they said it would be cancelled effective immediately. Yet, that was obviously a lie as he has been charged every single month until today. He has called on three different occasions and it’s always the same response. We even had to call the bank to resolve this issue as the staff here is useless. Mind you, EVERY CHARGE is different. It is never the same amount, which does not make sense. Today we received yet another charge, he called and was told the same thing again, with the disclaimer that he will have to pay yet another month and then it will be considered “cancelled” as per policy. Where was your policy when he called the past THREE times? Moreover, when he disagreed with the conditions and asked to speak to a supervisor, the front desk hung up. Not only is this completely disrespectful, but also an abuse of people’s time and money. “Another month” they say when you’ve wrongfully charged us for 6 months. So all in all, save your time and money, this place is at best average, it has 1-2 machines of the main ones, and unless you want to wait 30 min for a machine to be available, this place isn’t worth it. You’re better off paying a little more for quality, more machines, and good customer service. Based on previous similar reviews, it seems that they provide a butchered response in the lines of “we’ll look look into it but we won’t because we got your money already” so we will be proceeding with the bank to investigate those charges.

Me decidí a hacer este reclamo en forma pública ya que en el YouFit de Hialeah, me he cansado de pedir que por favor limpien! Es una asquerosidad desde que uno entra hasta la sala donde don clases, para que decir los baños, es que no me atrevo ni a entrar. Me siento súper ofendida con este gimnasio, nunca fui ni un solo día a la instalación, me dieron una promoción que nunca cumplió con ninguno de los beneficios, no me han permitido cancelar pq debe ser presencial en el gimnasio, imagínense coger un avión para ir hasta Miami a cancelar una suscripción a la cual has hecho todo lo posible por cancelar, y ahora pagar una deuda de tantos porque ellos son los del problema, es un insultoooooooooooo y una estafaaaaa total. Pensé que había sido la única víctima pero veo que hay otros que cayeron en la misma estafa. No recomiendo este gimnasio, y para colmo debo aunque sea darle una estrella para que me acepten postear mi review, pq ni eso se merecen.

Gracias a todos las reseñas que me advirtieron sobre el ROBO que este gimnasio te hace después de inscribirte. Yo claramente avisé al staff que solo quería contratar un mes porque estoy de viaje/turista, y me ofrecieron un plan adaptado a mis necesidades. Como muchos otras reseñas comentan, NUNCA me avisaron de un tal contrato ni lo mencionaron, entre las típicas cosas que uno hace al realizar una suscripcion (datos, pago, etc.) me pidieron mi firma, y lamentablemente caí como muchos otros. Me dijeron que iban a ser $17 dolares el mes y al día siguiente cuando reviso, en 10 días me iban a cobrar $45 dolares más. Para cancelar la membresía, debes esperar 1 MES hasta que se haga efectiva y durante ese mes debes seguir pagando mensualidades (que no quieres). Y te cobran $30 dolares más por cancelar la membresía. Eran $16 dolares al mes o $91???
Menos mal me enteré de todo esto en los primeros 3 días de suscripcion y el contrato permite librarte de toda esta pesadilla si cancelas bajo este tiempo. Sin embargo, no me quisieron devolver los primeros $17 dolares que pagué y no utilicé. Demasiado descarados.

VAYAN BAJO SU PROPIO RIESGO. NO RECOMENDADO.

So on October 4th, 2022 I went to the gym and cancelled my membership, paid for it and got a cancellation letter. The guy there, who was really nice, told me the next payment had to go thru for the cancellation to take effect, yesterday I receive a letter from a collection stating that I owe $81 dollars, just two months after, mind you, the membership was $ 16 a month. This post is not about the employees, it’s about the institution, this people allow you to register online but the cancellation has to be made in person, but not only that, you have to pay a cancellation fee and the next payment has to go thru. It is clearly predatory and thought to hurt the customers and make it really difficult for anyone to cancel. I hope someone notices this and sue this thieves.

The dumbells are all over the place and it's completely disorganized. I've never seen the workers actually put work into cleaning or organizing the area at all. It'll get busy after 6pm. But they do have space to work out in different areas. Multiple machines and trash bins at everywhere inside.
