My man Leo, where do I even start. I was in the parking lot, he saved my cat from getting ran over by a truck. The cables broke on my favorite machine and Leo cut off a section of his hair and repaired the cable himself just so I could work out. I’ve seen this man help old ladies cross the street and kiss babies. Truly a role model for us all. Making the Youfit experience truly one of a kind! :)

WOW obviously a great gym solid equipment but special shoutout to LEO dude at the front desk with the only acceptable man bun I’ve seen. I’ve never felt so welcome at a GYM before someone please give this dude a raise he clearly knows what he is doing and is passionate about it really what more could you ask for. I signed up for YouFit a few years ago and only went for three days because I moved to a different city, and there was no YouFit gym nearby. I called several times to cancel my membership, and every time they told me it was already being processed and that the next month would be my last. I even went in person three different times to cancel, and they always said, “Don’t worry, it’s already canceled.”

Well, apparently, it was never canceled. I ended up paying for over a year and three months even though I only went three days! The only time they actually stopped charging me was when I canceled my credit card.

Now I’m getting calls from a collection agency saying I owe $258? Are you serious? After paying for more than a year for a service I didn’t even use? This is completely unfair and unprofessional. Be very careful before signing up with this company — they make it almost impossible to cancel and keep charging you for months.

Great gym to workout whether being a beginner or experienced. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good programs for those who want to take their training to another level. Trainers are certified and knowledgeable. I had a training program for 6 months with Moises and can only recommend it as well as him. Gym is kept cleaned and machines and equipment immediately repaired when necessary. All in all, a 5 Star facility!

The best gym ever!!! Small, comfortable, feels like family. My trainer Betty has truly changed my life in so many ways. I started from never working out before in my life to feeling the strongest I’ve ever felt both mentally and physically. Billy the manager is so helpful as well as all of the staff that works here. This gym is close to my in-laws and was a good gym to drop into while on vacation. The gym is clean and the members are nice and no one hogged any machines. I went from 7-8:30am during the week. They have a decent equipment selection. I would like to see them add a chest supported t bar row machine and a weightlifting platform for those that would like to work C&J and snatch.

Not sure what the workers are paid for but the machines are all disgusting with dry sweat marks. I have never once seen any worker help to clean the equipment. Let alone any maintenance for the equipment. & now they try to block off an entire area for ‘training only’ when that’s the only area with a matrix machine that works well…
Workers are just always on their phone rather than actually making the gym a place you wanna come back to.

I don’t even know where to start with Youfit. This place should come with a warning label: “Enter at your own risk… of disappointment.”

- Equipment? Half of it is broken or mysteriously “under maintenance” for weeks. The other half looks like it was last updated when flip phones were still cool.
- Cleanliness? If you enjoy wiping down other people’s sweat because the staff doesn’t bother, this is your paradise. The locker rooms smell like defeat and damp socks.
- Customer Service? “Dismissive” is putting it kindly. Ask a question, and you’ll get a shrug or a grumble if they don’t just ghost you completely.
- Hidden Fees? Don’t even get me started. The membership terms feel like a trap. Canceling? Be prepared to send carrier pigeons and smoke signals because calling and emailing won’t get you far.

I joined hoping for a place to feel healthy and empowered. What I got was stress, frustration, and a gym that apparently has a membership with mediocrity. The only thing I’m lifting now is my phone to warn others.

They had convinced me to sign up for a more expensive plan under a “30 Days Free” promotion. I had signed up 5 days before the end of the month. In reality what they mean is free membership from sign up date through the first month billing period, so I got 5 days for free despite the fact that “30 Days Free” has a different outcome of what one would expect per understanding of the English language. Management did not care. So I’m leaving You(tihS) one star.

It’s unbelievable how useless the corporate side can be charging all sorts of ridiculous fees. And if you don’t read the fine print of what you’re signing, you end up paying an absurd amount like $500, just like I have over the past few months.

The lack of integrity this company operates with is exactly why people don’t want to go back to a gym.

In my entire life, I would never recommend YouFit. In fact, I’ll go out of my way to tell everyone I can with the same level of intensity that you use to take people’s money, to stay away and never sign up here. Friends, strangers, doesn’t matter. I go to the one in Oakwood plaza. Very nice staff. Clean gym. Wish more hydrating drinks besides Prime and energy drinks. Vending machine in ladies room was broken. I needed to buy a new lock.. Should get yoga or zumba like other Youfit gyms down south. Otherwise nice gym. How about this 4th July give us a free youfit towel while supplies last that will be cool.

Buyer beware!!! I was robbed of receiving 3 months of personal training that YouFit illegally took payments from my credit card and overdrew my account when I went to great lengths to cancel the personal training but keep the gym membership. YouFit was extremely persistent to sign me up for as many service as possible. However, when you want to cancelling no manager will come to the phone or return a phone call. I left several messages and was told the manager was out of town to cancel the training. I went to the gym and found the manager that sold me the training explained to him that I wanted to cancel the training and the reason why. He simply told me that I was out of my 3-Day Right to Cancel and that I should use the month I paid for. I explained to him that I called and left several messages before the Right to Cancel expired. He was supposed to cancel going forward and I did schedule the first training section. Then I got a call 1 hour before advising that the trainer was no longer with the company and YouFit never rescheduled with me. I have given YouFit every opportunity to do the right thing and at the very least give me the 3 months of training that were paid for. Now I will be going to the BBB and CFPB. This is unjust and unfair.

The first thing you should do before signing is read all the opinions, start with the bad ones, because it is the reality and if you make a complaint they are going to treat it badly, because they always have a justification and their customer service is so mediocre, that the best apology is that they are never the same, nor mananger, nor employees, so it is better to take a photograph to know who
you talked to, I hope that the BBB does something about it with this type of GYM because here the customer loses out.

They should be careful with the supposed contract they make, supposedly it could be done monthly and when I saw the payment on my card I came to the GYM and the response was that the employee who did it no longer works there, so we asked for the cancellation, after a year they continued to collect, I received a message 3 days ago to solve with the mananger Bill and it turns out that the solution is to pay, so I have never used it and the worst they say that they in their contract is of course for life... be careful, because they use it or not, they always cover with supposed contracts and explanations that never give the day you will register, the worst customer service, every time there are new employees and manager, to justify that they were not in charge, A LOT of care when registering in this gym or ask for an alleged phone that by the way they did not give it to cancel if you do not want to continue, because otherwise the theft is justified, with contracts that you never receive on paper

I use to like the gym until I started to notice the machines need to be updated or oiled up. As well they suddenly changed my private Trainer Rachel saying she is gone with no explanation at all. She was an amazing trainer always super friendly and on time and she helped me be more confident with my journey. Not happy with this gym since than and it sucks since it's the closest from my place. Time to switch.

I couldn’t have asked for a better physical trainer than Obi.

He took time to understand my goals and used his expertise to refine them, and help me exceed them with his trainings!

I dedicated myself to 6 months of sessions with him where he helped me learn proper technique, form, good nutrition, and bonus - he’s a jokester so you can always count on it being a fun time even if it feels challenging in the moment 😆

I lost fat, and gained mass in the areas I wanted which has been ideal! 🍑

This gym overall has become a home for me and is a wonderful community to be a part of. 🫶

DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITH THEM !!! Just got an alert from Experian I canceled this two years ago . Mother had terminal cancer had to relocate out of state . I spoke to there customer service team at that location when I had a lot going on at the time and could no longer be a patron there . I signed up in feb 2021 and canceled Jan 2022 . They told me they only way to cancel was in person and I had to come to that location to cancel . I told them it would be impossible for me to come in since I was already making my way up north to take care of my moms . Little did I know last week youfit hit me with some collections charges of 191 . Spoke to the manager today about the situation that occurred back then she said back then they should of told me about sending a request letter since I was under contract and send a check for 10 dollars and my account would of been canceled . I don’t think this is fair at all . Over ten dollars and I’m grieving over my moms dying and I was misinformed by there team at the time on the process of canceling . She said she had a resolution a forgivingness program that if I sign a new contract they could forgive me of some of my penalty’s occurred for not canceling back then .i guess I was to busy burying my mother that I wasn’t concerned about a 10 dollar contract that was owed . But they feel it’s necessary to hit me with 180 dollars in fees cause I inconvenienced them by not being able to cancel the contract in person. This is wild . She was trying to resign me back up and do a month to month and cancel again . The nerve of ppl . Not once did she apologize. She said she understood I was going through a lot . She said she couldn’t do nothing for me . What happen to chivalry ? What happen to good ol people that care about unique situations but they more worried about ten dollars and canceling in person . Find someplace else that care about there customer . It’s not like I signed up and canceled just cause . I’m gonna let everyone know about this place and how disgusted I am

I came in one afternoon after work, I asked one of the employees if he could please charge my phone for a bit since I left my charger at home that day. Mind you I live in Miami and this gym location is far from my home. I came back after 20 minutes and my phone was not charged at all. If he couldn’t charge my phone he could have just told me from the start. Now I have to drive back home and hope for the best. Hopefully I won’t need my phone on the drive home.

If I could give this gym 0 stars I would. This company is the craziest place I have ever signed up for, when I went the first day looking for a membership they offered me a 6 session personal trainer for one price, the man at the front told me they would only charge me once for that and that if I wanted I could reauthorize the payment. So far $360 has been taken out of my account without my authorization even though I already canceled the service. The manager of the establishment, if you can call her that, always gives the same answers without any resolution. If you are looking for a place to exercise, never go to this place because they will steal all the money they want from your account without stopping. This company is crazy👎👎👎

I’ve gone to the YouFit in Oakwood plaza three times and 10/12/2023 will be the LAST time! The sense of Comradeship, gym etiquette, hygiene, and cleanliness in this YouFit at Oakwood Plaza is despicable. The equipment is scattered throughout the floor, gym members not cleaning the equipment after use, the overall energy to this gym is off. I’ve been to three different Youfits in Florida, by far the worst gym (Oakwood Plaza).

Please do not sign up for this gym. Transparency is not a core value of the company. I signed up two weeks ago under the impression I was receiving my 1st month free & the following months $27! Sounded awesome right? If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. I was told I am trapped in this contract that I signed 2 weeks ago. They have a 3 day cancellation window, for a year contract. I have to pay $120 to get out of it. Which is probably going to be worth it, to get them out of my life. I signed up for a gym. Not some satanic organization with no way out. I find this to be very crazy & disheartening. I feel trapped & highly disappointed by the business practices & unethical ways to obtain & sustain membership. Which represents how bad this company is, that they have to resort to such unethical ways of getting members. Working out should be fun. You should feel a sense of security & community. There should be a level of trust. Unfortunately, that trust has been broken within 2 weeks of dealing with this company. I highly suggest going to a gym that is more transparent.

Murielle is the nicest front desk gym person ever. I was having a very bad day when I first read joined again. She spoke so nicely to me like I knew her for so many years. There should be more workers at a gym just like her. I’d also like to add that Obi is amazing. The best trainer I’ve ever had and I am a trainer as well. But he showed me some new tips and was super nice.

THEY LIE! IF THEY DID IT TO ME, they’ll do it to you!
I had been with them for over 2 years, yet they lied to me saying they can freeze my account while I was traveling.. but they didn’t. They still charged my account. When I complained about it nobody knew anything. Every time I would call there was no manager around and they said they would call back.. NEVER CALLED BACK! I called at least twice a week. Four months later, they called saying I was forgiven and didn’t have to pay the charges but I had to re-enroll into a yearly contract!
A couple days later I get a letter in the mail from collections… They did not get rid of the charges and then they wanted to trick me into gong back to them. THEY LIE! Do not trust them. Every time I tried calling they said they would get to me and never called back, every time I asked to talk to a manager, there was no manager working.. TERRIBLE.

I was a guest at this gym and I enjoyed my workout but unfortunatly i came back to my car and someone got in and stole my bag with my walet, a ring, and airpods i lost almost 1000$ for choosing to go to this gym instead of the one in dania point. I made a police report and called a the gym to see if they had cameras that can help me but no help the plaza has no cameras and the gym no cameras facing the parking lot. This happened 04/21/2023 from 8pm to 9:30pm for the person that took my walet just know I had my bible in their hope the worst for you for not working for your money.

Insecurities? Gone. This is a non judgmental zone. Highly recommended Youfit alone for those purposes. Very spacious, always upgrading their equipment, Trainers are very helpful and knowledgeable at what they do, Maintenance is nonstop keeping the space clean and equipment sterilized. The whole staff is very supportive and kind. However, I am a bit biased of a certain front desk employee named Vishon. Very kind, friendly, and respectful young man. He was very patient and helpful during my transition from another youfit. Nothing but love to everyone on this Youfit Staff!

Signed up and I should have seen the warning signs at the time but I did not. There was a husband and wife armed with a folder speaking with a manager discussing cancelation and it was not a brief conversation. I overheard "you have to come in-person" and I thought at the time that seems simple enough. Little did I know my situation would prevent me from coming in to cancel and YouFit's "policy" and inflexibility is just some corporate b.s. to bilk people out of monthly membership fees for eternity. I had to travel and care for my elderly grandparents for an extended period of time. I had not used the membership in over a year and the fees continued to be billed monthly. My grandmother passed in November 2022 and I continued to care for my grandfather. I finally made it home for a week while he was transferred to an Assisted Living Facility and when the charge came through, I headed to the gym to take care of the cancelation while in town. I was asked "why do you want to cancel?" I laughed and said, I have not used the membership in over a year. I haven't even been caring for myself for a year! Well, there's a fee to cancel. I just paid a fee to USE the gym I'm not using and now I have to pay a fee to CANCEL?!? It's quite the racket they have going on. The employees are just told to quote policy. They have no empowerment, empathy, or decision making skills. I paid religiously for over a year. I didn't ask for any of those fees to be waived but a cancelation fee seems excessive even if nominal. Do better!

Asked the person that signed me up if I would be able to cancel my membership after 1-2 months as I would be moving away. They advised that I could. Later on when canceling I was advised that I was still going to be charged a yearly fee, which is like $100+ dollars or something if I remember correctly. I canceled the card on file to avoid the charge and they sent me to collections. The collections advises that I owe $180 even though i closed my account.

Would not recommend this gym to a friend and would not consider using their services in the future.
