I’ve been coming to Youfit for over 10 years, but I’m now seriously considering switching gyms. While the facility is clean, many of the machines are in need of maintenance. Some don’t work at all, and others have issues like resistance levels not functioning properly or buttons that don’t respond.

I believe the gym should take the time to test and ensure that all equipment is working as it should. As paying members, we deserve to have access to machines that are safe, reliable, and fully functional to support our workouts.

Este lugar es horrible son unos estafadores me han cobrado por más de 6 meses y he intentado cancelar más de 3 veces y me cobraron el entrenador cuando les pedí que solo me lo pusieran 1 mes, al final lo terminé pagando por 6 meses. Al final no resuelven nada y siempre cambian de manager así que no hay nadie que te pueda ayudar porque el manager que te dio la cara antes ya no está. Para los futuros clientes que vayan a ir les pido que lean bien los contratos y no den su número de cuenta de banco porque siempre van a buscar la forma de cobrarte y de sacarte el dinero. I just started working out here and I always feel welcomed here. This strip mall is easy to drive into, and I can always find parking. It is an open style gym that never feels crowded. The front desk is always friendly. The equipment cables feel smooth to use. There is always plenty of paper towels and disinfectant to use on each equipment. The bathrooms are always clean. The AC temperature always feels great, and the music is never loud. Of the cardio machines I have only used the stairstep machine and it is my favorite to use to start my workout. More often than not people are respectful and put their weights away, so I do like that I don’t have to search the gym for weights. I am very happy to have this as my new gym and they have great convenient type stores to shop at in this strip mall like Publix and CVS. This has been a great gym for me.

6/26/24 I just want to inform people of the horrible cancellation terms for personal training package . I hope no one else get scammed as my poor mom was. Gym staff do not inform cancellation terms when you sign. This information is only sent to your email 4 days later when it is too late to do any change. Please read carefully the terms because how is written may be misinterpreted. Masiel one of the managers in this location explained there are only 2 ways to cancel the 6month package. Either pay half of the whole price of the package of 6months plus 100% of every month used. Because she recently signed and had used 1 session prior today now she had to pay a total of 1000 dollars to cancel the personal training agreement. The other option is paying 100% percent of every month remaining in the agreement even though she will not use it.
Hopefully the owners/managers change the cancellation policy. It currently seems a big scam.

Also if youfit charges you extra fees by mistake. They take 30days to refund it. It is unacceptable

Update 7/18. Youfit continues charging hundreds of dollars for a service we cancelled last month. Manager Maziel apologized for providing wrong information about fees. But her apologies do not refund the money. This is a nightmare. BIG SCAM

I would highly recommend a different gym. DO NOT GO HERE. This place tries to prey on people who have never used a gym before and do not speak English . They are out there to scam people out their money. My mother in law went here a couple weeks back. She hasn’t used a gym before and immediately gets signed up to a long term contract with very little understanding what the cost or the terms are. She misunderstood the entire process and was charged fees that were never explained. Also she even was overcharged. She tried to immediately cancel the next visit when she saw money taken out of her bank account and they basically told her too bad you signed up. You owe half of the remaining balance which happened to be over $1000 for going to the gym for one week. The cancellation policy is unethical. Whoever benefits financially from this just know you are taking advantage of immigrants trying to better their life. Again save your time and money find a different place . This place is out there to take advantage of you.

This is probably one of the worst YouFits in the entire Miami area. No matter the time of day that you come, there are absolutely never a dumbbell in sight because people are too lazy to pick up the weights and put them back. I’m sure that’s the case for most YouFit but the difference is, the employees of mostly all the other YouFit ACTUALLY work and pick up the weights and return them to the rack. I understand that you can blame the people that attend the gym because they are lazy and don’t want to return the weights but for you guys to get paid and still not do your job to have a gym that is atleast presentable to the public is crazy.

This place is not even good enough to receive one star. The last time I went with a friend I damn near almost got kicked out because my friend was showing me how to do a new workout. The manager (Jessica) embarrassed me in front of the entire gym bombarding my friend with questions if he’s certified and even qualified to be showing me anything. I pay for a guest pass to be able to bring a friend with me. I still listened to Jessica and got a personal trainer named Oscar. Oscar does nothing but bash people for working out. Picking out how I’m so weak and how girls can lift more. Truly very offensive because I’m skinny and insecure of my physique (reason why I’m going to the gym). No wonder youfit is losing so much business to these new gyms that have better quality equipment and better customer service.

Today Becky, one of the personal trainers came up to me to help me with a movement I was doing wrong. She was very nice and helpful! there’s been many female and male personal trainers at this gym. Warning, be careful when you sign up and then decide that you want to cancel because this place does not help. After a year contract I had with this gym, I wanted to cancel it. I remember canceling it was to go to the place and just do that. However policy has changed where if you want to cancel your membership, you have to call a number from ABC solutions. Problem is the number they gave me gives no option to speak to a representative or even cancel. After an hour with this number I called the gym on Monday 11/13. The person who attended me was not helpful at all, they told me to keep calling. I asked them what is the way to go about this because calling a number to cancel my membership was not working. They had no answer. This is the new canceling policy for this gym with no help. I RECOMMEND YOU THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE SIGNING UP.

While it's a decent facility, was really disappointed in the showers which are small, lack water pressure, and hot water was warm at best. What I found LEAST enjoyable was the extended God awful Hip Hop playing in the background. It's been the Youfit facility with the least variety of music playing that I've been to. Music is powerful in so many ways, and can help motivate you and take your mind off the less pleasant aspects of working out. Need some variety in the playlist please. I'll likely not return to this particular facility and suggest you choose another.

I’m so disappointed in Youfit and what it has come to. It wasn’t the best gym to begin with but you honestly pay for what you get… which is nothing. The customer service is extremely poor and the place is always a mess.

The last time I came here, I was working out with my friend who also has a gym membership there and they told me I can’t workout with her because I “look” like I’m training her which in fact I wasn’t. I’m not a trainer. The way they handled the situation was very poor.

I highly recommend to find another gym if you are looking into this gym.

My wife and I joined Youfit in the Crossings back in April and have been going 4-5 days a week since. The place was starting to fall apart with broken equipment everywhere, not very clean, water leaks all over the place, etc. We started to look for another gym but fortunately they brought in new Management about a month ago. Since they brought in Nandis, he has transformed this gym for the better. New equipment, new layout, cleaner work areas, etc. just a better atmosphere. All the employees and trainers at this Youfit are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. If you left this gym due to the old conditions and management, you should come back and see the changes. The place is 100% improved. We also take advantage of their personal trainer service. They have a great group of trainers. Both my wife and I work with Dayan twice a week. He's a great trainer for all types of individuals. He is motivating, friendly and very knowledgeable about how to train. I would recommend him for anyone. Just a great place to work out and get in shape.

They have started closing 20% of the gym area, artificial grass area, for personal trainers. So a 100x50 ft area is completely off limits for 1 person with 1 personal trainer. This area is the only place for stretching, lunges, sledding, etc.
The manager says policy is one person is there for a training session the entire area is closed. They leave the area it is open, then come back it is closed. You have no clue when personal trainers have the area reserved. So if you want a gym where an entire open workout area is randomly off limits at any time without warning this is the place.

When I first joined this gym 8 years ago I would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately it hasn’t been the same since the pandemic. At least once every 5-8 weeks they don’t open on time which is a big deal to members like myself who wake up to be there at 5:00 am. Also, the place hasn’t been cleaned in months. The garbage is only taken out when it’s overflowing and the dust on the equipment is unbelievable. As far as the equipment goes, a good one third of it doesn’t work and there are no signs of them getting repaired. Lastly, talking to management doesn’t seem to make a difference. It’s excuses after excuses.
All in all, there are way to many gyms out there with very competitive prices that are maintaining their gyms and hiring staff that care for me to continue my membership here.

This is my gym and I LOVE it because it’s kinda like the bar Cheers, if anyone remembers that show. Everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came! It’s got that homey , community vibe and really does have all you need to get a great work out because you do t really NEED that fancy smancy stuff. That said, because I love my gym, I can say from the bottom of my heart that we have plenty of room for improvement, so here goes!

1. The women’s bathrooms are almost always NASTY : toilettes overflowing and there’s always at least one out of service This problem is easily remedied with a little TLC.

2. When it rains , which is often, it’s got more leaks than Watergate! And the smell of humidity : peeeeeooohhh! This is the building management and , again can and should be remedied especially since the whole mall just got a face lift. What about us??

3. The weights are ancient and although they usually work, c’mon Corporate, how about throwing The Crossings a bone? We promise we will take good care of our new toys!

4. Never do they ever ….well almost never, leave the machines ready for the next guy. Note to fellow members: if you stack your machine , please UNSTACK ! I mean it’s just common courtesy !!

I’ve always had the best experience at Youfit Kendall crossings, it’s one of my favorites in the area, mainly because of the staff. Christopher and Giselle are the faces I look forward to seeing the most when I enter. They are always very welcoming and helpful when I don’t know how to properly use certain equipment. They make working out (which is sometimes dreadful for me) an enjoyable experience.

Friendliest staff I’ve ever met. Chris is the best manager of any youfit and although the girls look mean, they’re very nice and encouraging and there’s this guy that goes “WELCOME TO YOU FIT! WHERE YOU FIT IN” and it pumps me up every time.

LOVE THIS LOCATION. The front desk staff was so so so helpful, the manager and assistant manager answered all my questions and all my doubts about joining. Made me excited about joining and even convinced me to get training. Such an amazing experience!! Plus it was super clean!!
